thinking abt tighnari using his vision in bed 😩 like him using his vision to tie you down with vines, so you don’t squirm too much while he’s fucking into you so rough and needy.
18+||MINORS DNI
OH MY GOD...needy and rough Tighnari is my absolute favorite I’m so weak. Him tying your wrists above your head with vines and grabbing onto your hips, roughly pushing them down while he fucks into you. He tells you to stay still, to be good for him, but it’s so hard when he’s fucking you so deep you swear you can feel him in your stomach :(
OR OR- Tighnari using his vines to tie your wrists behind your back so he can fuck you from behind with your face pushed into the pillow :( You can’t do anything but whimper and cry while he slams his hips into yours so forcefully. He leans over, pressing your bodies together and says “I know I’m being rough but you can take it, can’t you? That’s right, good job..”

Communication Chaos
Featuring: Isekei! (Kind of not really.) Reader x Tighnari
TW: none that I am aware of, but please do let me know if I missed any I will gladly update this section.
PT2: Cyno, Wanderer, Alhaitham, Kaveh
INTRO:
You wake up one day sitting on the bed of a small hut-looking building in Gandharva Ville after being found unconscious by the forest ranger known all around as Tighnari. The moment you opened your eyes and met the gaze of the multi-colored-eyed male, you felt a warm tingle of excitement and confusion fill your chest...however the moment he opened his mouth to greet you, your heart dropped into the pit of your stomach.
You can’t understand a single word he just said.
Your excitement and curiosity are what caused him to fall for you, over time, of course.
When you awoke and sat up in the bed he had given you to rest, he walked towards you with a bowl of medicine.
“Are you okay?” He asked, “Any pain from the injuries sustained? I wrapped your forearm in bandages and put together a concoction of medicine utilizing-” He stopped speaking mid-explanation when he noticed you stared at him wide-eyed, mouth open agape, similar signs of someone who hadn’t understood what was being said to them. He took this as a sign that he had to slow down his form of speech, thus he continued with that in mind.
“U-uh...” you interrupted him, using your hands signaling he should stop by waving them around in front of you apprehensively. You weren’t sure what you could possibly say, standing in front of you was THE Tighnari of the video game “Genshin Impact” you played in the comforts of your homeland, yet he seemed to speak none of the languages you were remotely accustomed to hearing. You looked around for any form of a hint of what language he spoke so you could attempt to communicate, however, It was at that moment that you realized it must have been Teyvats natural language by the writing on the pile of papers that sit on the desk next to the bed graciously given to you by Tighnari. He cocked his head to the side and ear twitched, waiting for you to speak as you had stopped him from talking previously.
“I...don’t understand what you’re saying, I’m...sorry...” You trailed off as you noticed Tighnari holding perhaps even a more shocked expression than you at the language difference. He had of course been a graduate of the Akedemiya, a place in which learning many different languages was a must prior to graduation, yet you were there speaking in a language he had never remotely heard of. Coming to terms with this, he nodded slowly before continuing with his previous actions. Taking the bowl of medicine and a wooden spoon, he scooped it up and urged it towards you, inviting you to try it. You hesitated for a moment, looking from the spoon, and up to his gentle gaze before leaning forward to take a bite. He smiled and nodded satisfied with this. Once you had finished the medicine you felt yourself become drowsy, feeling yourself sway slightly as he took the back of your head to lean you back onto the bed. You were soon sleeping soundly once again, not noticing the slight look of worry that was still upon the fennecs features.
Time had passed, your injuries were fully healed. Chalking it up to amnesia, Tighnari had decided to take care of you while you were in an unfamiliar place and unable to communicate where exactly you should have been. He started to teach you a bit about the language in teyvat by simply pointing to things and slowly emphasizing how they were said, and encouraging you to say certain phrases such as “I’m hungry” before giving you food. You were eager to learn, and he began to feel his heart beat slightly faster at every smile, every giggle, and every little phrase you had learned. He tried to convince himself that he had only felt the affection of a teacher for a student, but he couldn’t quite place why you felt different than when he had taught Collei new things.
“By the way, (y/n),” Tighnari said while mixing up a new batch of herbs, “How old are you?” This sentence was a bit more complex, however, you could tell he had used your name (it had taken him some time to properly pronounce it, you had to emphasize the letters frequently and he had to be reminded multiple times how to properly pronounce it), and had some form of a question by the upward connotation he had used. You replied with a light hum and a tilt of your head. He leaned back against the counter and crossed his arms, thinking about how to go about this question, before perking up and rushing outside. You furrowed your eyebrows, looking slightly puzzled at his sudden disappearance. He quickly returned with what looked like an arm full of small rocks, sitting on the ground before arranging them in a manner that was organized with lines of rocks. He then began to point to one rock at a time and say a word each time he pointed, which you could make out to be counting in his language, before pointing to himself once finishing counting the rocks he lay out. You were slightly confused until he did it again and pointed to himself more aggressively to try and get the point across.
“Ohhh! Your age? you’re asking me how old I am?” You asked, smiling brightly and giggling. You noticed his cheeks beam a light shade of pink as you did this, however, you didn’t pay too much attention to the meaning behind it as you started to count back the rocks he had placed in your own native language.
“You’re (his age)? Huh. Well..” You began to rework the rocks to the number of your own age, to which he responded with a smile as he began to count...in YOUR language. He was attempting to repeat the same way you counted, however, he fell apart slightly after getting to the number seven. Your eyes widened, as you realized he hadn’t attempted to speak your language whatsoever since you came before. You stood up, jumping up and down out of joy and giggling slightly. “oh my goodness! Tighnari!” You beamed, running over to him and gently grabbing his hands and shaking them up and down with carefulness. Just another thing he noticed he liked about you, you respected the fact that he seemed to not enjoy loud noises, and always touched him with care and made sure to watch his mannerisms in order not to offend him. You were never too much for him, you had always respected his boundaries even when he could not explicitly state so.
You tried to urge him to get up and move to the other side of the room, where on the wall lay a tapestry he had obtained for you that was covered in different flowers and animals. You then pointed to a butterfly that was sewn into the tapestry, looking at him with the pure excitement of learning and experiencing. He chuckled slightly, gaze looking down at you with pure affection before you both shared your way of saying words such as “butterfly” and “flower.” You were learning each other’s languages together, and he had felt a warm tingling in his heart with every smile, with everything you pointed to, with the way you had been quick to learn something new with an open mind and determination.
His feelings only grew from there, Only solidifying as time spent with you went on and you had taken the time and energy to learn all sorts of things, he had deeply admired the fact you paid close attention to him while he was speaking, even when you hadn’t fully understood the context of his words. He felt as if he could rant to you about anything and everything, no language barrier could break apart the feelings that began to harbor in his heart for the person that had stumbled upon his life and taken time to learn from him, about him, and look at the world with such...beauty, interest, and curiosity. Even though there were times of frustration when neither of you could figure out what was trying to be said, you always seemed to hold your head high and not falter, those moments of annoyance seeming to become fuel for your determination to work through the issues you had with a level head and motivate you to become better than you had been before.
He hadn’t meant to confess so soon, however, the comment seemed to have come out nonchalantly. Even a scholar cannot help but make a fool of himself sometimes when it comes to falling in love, a feeling of which he had not fully convinced himself by the time he admitted it to you. You were helping him take his rounds in the forest, though he made it a point to avoid dangerous withering zones for your sake. He had noticed you stopped following next to him, instead, you had gotten distracted by a specific flower that lay on the ground next to a particularly large tree.
“Sumeru rose,” He said slowly, kneeling next to you. You nodded and looked at the flower with such gentleness, innocence, and love.
“Sumeru rose...I love it,” You said, petting the soft purple petals with your hand. He had heard you use this phrase often when talking about things that lit your face up with joy, such as food he had cooked you, little trinkets he had brought to you to learn from, certain words that you seemed to like...he didn’t need a translation to tell that you were using that phrase to express deep likeliness for something. in a moment of overwhelming love and affection, Tighnari picked up the flower from its stem to remove it from the ground it had to lay in before using his other hand to gently grasp your cheek and turn your gaze towards his own, tucking the purple bloom behind your ear and repeating your phrase,
“I love it.”
He had said this with such gentleness, a slight accent that you found adorable, and with the perfect amount of emotion and overwhelming endearment.
Silence rang between the two of you, your face gradually growing a deep shade of red, standing up in a rush before quickening your pace.
“Yes, oh look, a pretty butterfly!” You tried to take his attention off of yourself by pointing and excitingly ready to learn as usual, as if he hadn’t just confessed something which you were not even certain he meant. You hadn’t noticed that his gaze had not left you, yet you refused to look back and let him see how much you were red-faced and smiling right now.
“L-let’s keep going! come on!” You told Tighnari, not bringing yourself to turn to look at him.
“Ah-!” He stood up with an equal amount of panic, his face also turning a shade of red. He quickly caught up to you, “Are you okay?” He asked in his own language, you had indeed understood this phrase this time around after your time of studying with the forest ranger, however, your answer came out in a rush while trying to deflect the conversation.
Perhaps some more time will grant both of you to finally come to terms with the new idea of “love,” And you could learn to properly communicate this feeling one day in confidence with words, rather than uncertainty.

tighnari’s tail is something of a mystery. you’ve never seen it wag or droop, and you assumed that was because tighnari just didn’t feel strong enough emotions to have his tail respond in such a way. the most motion you’ve ever gotten out of it is when he jogs or sprints and it sways from the momentum of his run.
unbeknownst to you, tighnari’s tail wags violently when you’re not looking. it takes all of tighnari’s willpower and energy to stop it from moving when you’re around… it’s been hard keeping it a secret, especially since you’re in tighnari’s company so often.
oh, if only tighnari could tell you why his tail is so happy to see you.

the verdant strider ft. tighnari
nsfw. 5.k words, pwp (guys we did it!! i learned how to make a real plot!!) gentle sex, both of them are painfully in love with the other, tighnari is a bit insecure, aphrodisiac (?), he calls you by his title, mention of overstim towards the end, might be ooc im sorry…oh! he whimpers <3
men of the harem mlist !!
Tumblr media
The heavy sounds of metal clanking against the wooden trails caught tighnari’s attention. The noise was a good distance away– “two miles,” the forest ranger estimated. However, he heard the light, airy footsteps of someone else amongst the others. Soft steps that made the wood creak against your feet and soft giggling noises you made as you traveled with a few of your guards. Tighnari set down his magnifying glass, closing up his textbook and maps before exiting his hut.
He felt the humid air against his skin, making the fur of his tail and ears feel sticky. Luckily for him, it wasn’t too hot. Along the wooden bridges of Gandharva Ville, Tighnari watched as you came into view. Many other forest rangers bowed at your presence, greeting you with utter respect. You nervously requested they raised their heads as you are not worthy of receiving such etiquette. Had Tighnari been any closer, he may have rebutted that comment. He continues to observe the way you speak with the rangers, having baskets of fruit handed to them.
Their eyes glowed, widening lids as you placed them into their hands. Tighnari feels his ear twitch. Why is he feeling like this? He blanks out for a few moments before Collei grabs his attention,
“Master, her highness is here to see you. The others say she’s brought fruit for us,” The young girl stands beside him, watching as her master’s face changes. He goes from pensive to calm. You’re here for Tighnari, he slowly realizes. Soon he thinks, “Why does that matter? You may come and go around Sumeru as you please. It is your nation,” He feels his face flush and Collei notices. Her anxiety peaks as he stares him,
“Master, are you alright?” There’s a small waiver in her voice that makes Tighnari come back to reality. He pats her on the head, smiling.
“Don’t worry, Collei. It’s nothing. Let’s go greet her, shall we?” With a small smile, Collie nods, following Tighnari in suit. He smoothly walks in your direction as you busy yourself with the other rangers. There’s that stupid feeling again. Tighnari feels irritated, especially when he gets a better look at you. Archons, you look gorgeous today. You look good every day, but the tropical humidity of the Avidya Forest gives you this natural glow. He can smell the sheer sweat lines on your skin, yet it doesn’t bother him.
When you finally notice his presence, you smile brightly at him. The other rangers greet Tighnari with cheerfulness, some eyes still glued to you. You hold a basket of goodies in your hands as you turn to Collei and Tighnari,
“Tighnari and Ms. Collei! It’s so great to see you both.” The two smile back at you, one more shyly than the other. You bend down to Collei’s height, handing her the basket of fruits. “I heard from the General Mahamatra that you fancy lotus, right? I hand picked a few from the ponds near the castle. I do hope you’ll enjoy them! There’s other fruits in there as well and some mushrooms,”
Collei’s eyes light up in excitement, hearing your words. She’s come around a lot when it comes to you. She used to hide behind Tighnari or Cyno before, but now you can openly converse with her.
“I haven’t had any in so long. Thank you, your highness. You really didn’t have to,” She stammered a bit in her words, shyly gracious for the gift. It has been a while since she’s had it. Tighnari doesn’t allow her to scavenge or leave the village at night as she is so young. Tighnari would often tell you in his letters about him scavenging for lunar lotus to bring home for Collei in her younger years. When you tease Tighnari for being such a sweet teacher, his only response was,
“If she is happy, she’ll do good at school. That’s what I care about,” But the swaying of his tail and soft flush on his cheeks say otherwise. A few of the other rangers and Collei get distracted with the various foods you have brought. With that, your full attention is on Tighnari. You smile at him again,
“How goes the research into the ley lines? I know they’re not your specialty, so I thought the books could give you a deeper understanding of them. Do they help?” Lately, a certain type of ley line has been polluting the ecosystem in a part of the forest. It’s caused some tigers and boars to travel closer to Gandharva Ville, rather than staying in the lush greens of the forest. Tighnari nods his head as you link arms with him. Your bare skin brushes against his, sending a shiver up his spine.
“It’s helped me understand what exactly they are, but not how it’s affecting the ecosystem. I still don’t quite get it. I may have to do some more testing. It is possible the ley line is not the cause of the decline. It could be linked to something else,” As the two of you walk down the trails, your conversation continues.
“According to Cyno’s intel, there’s been some people selling certain plants taken from Avidiya Forest on the black market. I’m telling you this as it is not an Akademiya problem, so I don’t believe anyone from there will feel obliged to try and help.” You say pensive, furrowing your brows.
“I have noticed a decrease in Rukkhashava Mushrooms,” Tighnari mentions. Tighnari’s heart skips a beat when you sigh, pressing your forehead against his shoulder. “It’s nothing too significant.” You bite your lip, deep in thought. “A coin for your thoughts, my lady?”
“Why would people be selling Rukkhashava Mushrooms on black market though? It’s a widely accessible plant, so why go through the trouble of taking them from the forest and not from the merchants who sell it for cheap? I’ve seen the prices, Tighnari.” There’s a slight frustration in your voice that makes Tighnari frown. Suddenly, it clicks.
“Poisonous fumes,” You raise a brow at his words, halting in your steps.
“Elaborate, please?” Tighnari clears his throat before speaking,
“When gathering Rukkhashava Mushrooms, one must properly pick them. You cannot pick them from the roots, you have to gather their petals and use a sharp object to dismember it from the core, otherwise it will let out a poisonous gas. This is how the fungi protects itself. However, these fumes can harm the soil and pores of other vegetation. I don’t know how I didn’t think of this before!”
You carefully listen to Tighnari’s explanation, nodding as he speaks. The reason why the plants are dying makes sense, but again, why take the fungi from the forest as opposed to the merchants selling it? It’s a lot more accessible to buy it, rather than stealthy trying to uproot them from under the rangers’ noses. You are stumped on this question, however you do not verbalize it to Tighnari.
“Along with the fumes, these plants are not getting vital nutrients from the mushrooms either.” He’s more or less speaking to himself at this point.
“That does make sense,” You curtly add. The two of you continue to walk down the trails as your mind is clouded with questions. A guard who has been trailing behind the two of you calls out to you. You let go of Tighnari’s arm, turning behind you. You pace towards the guard as he leans down, whispering something in your ear. However, Tighnari hears the entire conversation.
“A message has come from the General Mahamatra. He believes he has captured one of the culprits behind the mushroom thefts. Would you like to go see him?” You nod to the guard, looking back at Tighnari. He waves his hand, a smile on his face.
“Go. I will be here if anything. Contact me if you have any questions,” You apologeticly smile to him, waving goodbye before running off with your guards. Tighnari’s arms tingles, still feeling your warm touch on him.
Tumblr media
Tighnari has not heard from you in days. Last night, while visiting Kaveh, he had not seen you at all around the castle. According to Kaveh, you’ve thrown yourself into work. Not even Cyno could pull you out of the room. There’s talk amongst the bazaar that her highness has fallen ill. Worryingly, Tighnari finds himself at the palace entrance. He enters the main hall, where you are absent from. After asking around, Tighnari finds out that you are still in your bedroom.
After a firm knock on the door, Tighnari hears scuffling around your room. With a strained voice you answer,
“Who is it?” Tighnari’s nose picks up on a sickly sweet smell that makes his mouth run dry. How have you come across such a thing?
“Tighnari. May I come in?” He already knows what to expect if you allow him in. He hears some more scuffling of your feet because you allow him to enter. He sees you sitting at your desk with the windows wide open. The soft summer breeze does not help to cool the flush and sweat on your skin.
“Lock it,” you say weakly to him and he does just that. He searches around the room for where that smell is coming from. However, the closer he steps towards you the stronger it gets. That smell is coming from your mouth.
“My lady, have you eaten anything today?” He gently shifts closer to you. His hand grazes against your bare shoulder and you shudder. Hypersensitivity, sweating, fatigue, dizziness– you have all the symptoms.
“No. I feel too gross. I came back from the forest and I- oh fuck,” You press your legs together as you try to hold your stomach. There’s a pulsing heat that is causing you immense discomfort.
“And you what,” Tighnari’s cold fingers brush against your jaw, tilting your head up to look at him. You slump against the chair, twitching in your seat. “How long were you going to stay like this? You do understand this sort of poisoning could kill you, right?” You weakly groan, melting into his cool palm.
“I’ve read in a book that it will pass in five days. It’s the last day today,” You stifle another groan as you jolt up. Today has been the worst by far. You get strong waves of this prickling sensation in your stomach that heats up your entire body. Ice baths, cold water, even resting has not helped in the slightest. You’re constantly sweating and the humid air from outside does not help anymore than it worsens your temperature. Tighnari’s hand presses against your forehead.
“Yes, that is if given a proper diet and fluids. At this rate, you could have a stroke,” He tuts, scolding you. You can’t fight back, simply allowing him to stand between your legs. You call out his name, weakly tugging on his pants to gain his attention. “I’m right here. I told you to contact me if anything, no?”
Again, you let out a weak noise, hiding your face in his torso. His hands feel so cold on your shoulders and face.
“Sorry, I didn’t think the poison would affect me this bad” Tighnari’s fingers trail from your collarbone, down to your chest. He kneels in front of you, rubbing his fingertips along your skin. He watches the way you flinch and shiver at his touch. “Nari,” You say breathless.
“The fumes got to you, didn’t they?” He chuckles airly, watching how you react to his hands. His palms rub your shoulders, trailing down your arms. You nod your head, letting out a soft cry. “Next time, call me. I will bring an antidote. For now though, relax.” With that, Tighnari hoists you into his arms, laying you down on the bed. The bed sheets feel cool on your skin. You weakly protest, but Tighnari shushes you with a kiss. You softly sigh into it, hands attempting to reach out to him. He chuckles, laying himself beside you. His skin feels like ice against your sweaty skin. You press your cheek into his neck, legs trying to feel his, but his pants completely cover his legs.
Instead, his hand rubs up and down your thigh as he tries to soothe you. It all feels very intimate, to say the least. Up until this point, your and Tighnari’s relationship was not the same as the others. The two of you mutually benefited from this arrangement. Tighnari gained access to information he needed, and you were able to have a spot filled in the harem. It was either him or the son of some random duke you heavily disliked. Plus, Tighnari was always kind and respectful. Sure, he was pretty introverted and did not add to the conversation much, but he never made you feel like you were a bother to him. He always made you feel like you could speak your mind freely.
For publicity sake, the two of you had shared kisses before, held hands, etc. Yet this felt so…different. There was something about the way he looked at you that made your heart flip. Tighnari was secretly happy that you had stayed inside your room for days. He was the only one who got to see you like this, and the only one who gets to nurse you back to health. His tail snakes around your waist, almost posessively.
The two of you stare at each other, lips parted. He moves the hair away from your face, his thumb swiping some of the sweat away. He smiles gently, kissing you on the forehead Tighnari’s hand slides into yours, pressing hid cold palm against yours. Your cheek rests against his shoulders as his body cools yours. With a gentle sweet kiss on the head, Tighnari urges you to rest a bit. You do relax into him, feeling a bit better. Maybe this was all you needed– Tighnari’s healing hands.
Tumblr media
The sun eventually sets and when you wake up again, your windows are closed and your body feels a lot better. There’s no sweat sticking to your clothes, no shivering, no dizziness, nothing. You felt completely fine. However, that throb between your legs never left. You glance to your left to find Tighnari’s eyes shut. His soft breath felt against your hair. He looks so peaceful and so cute. Instinctively, you reach out to poke the softness of his cheek. This however, wakes him up. Quickly, you retract your hand, but Tighnari is quicker. He grabs your hand, pressing it back to his cheek. You stifle a giggle, but ultimately fail. He leaves a kiss on the inside of your wrist, hazel eyes glimmering at you.
“You look better,” he says, kissing your pulse point one more time. You grin at him, stomach fluttering with butterflies. You nod dumbly, eyes focused on his lips. He chuckles, allowing you to see a flash of his pearly whites. “Up here, my lady.” Tighnari says with a teasing grin. “Seems you really don’t feel well if your eyes cannot focus, hm?”
And the way his voice drops an octave has you pressing your legs together. You play along with his antics, nodding your head. Tighnari straddles your hips, his fingers cupping your jaw. He leans forward, ghosting his lips over yours.
“Tell me you want this. If not, I promise I’ll never try it again unless you allow me to,” His hands slide under the thin nightgown, toying with the ribbons of your shorts. Unable to speak, you simply nod. “I need to hear it,” He breathes heavily against your lips.
“Tighnari, I want this. I want you so bad. Please?” The whiny begging breaks Tighnari’s resolve. Instantly, his lips crash onto yours. He keeps your body flushed to his, turning so you are seated in his lap. It feels so surreal. And Tighnari? He was over the fucking moon.
He had waited years for this moment. He heard all the things you would do with the other consorts, but never with him. In his mind he simply thought you saw him as a friend. However, he is so wrong. Day after day, you would sit at your desk wondering what the forest ranger was up to.
The amount of times you’d hike deep into the Avidiya forest just to catch a glimpse of Tighnari was embarrassing. Your crush on him since your Akademiya days still resonated deep inside your heart. When he had graduated early, you wished you could’ve done something to make him stay. However, he was determined. You secretly wished him nothing but the best. You wanted nothing but that for him.
Tighnari’s hands slid your nightgown up your torso, leaving goosebumps in his trail. Soft moans fall into his mouth. He continues to kiss you. You clutch onto him, begging for air and he reluctantly pulls back. A string of saliva connects your mouths. At this moment, Tighnari falls in love all over again.
The way your cheeks are flushed because of his touches, the wya your hair perfectly. You hide your face from him, but he quickly moves your hands away from your face. You let out a small whine and Tighnari compensates you by leaving kisses along the slope of your neck. His kisses have you whimpering and gasping. He nips at the skin, leaving hickeys in his trail.
Things move quickly from here. Tighnari strips you of your clothes, kissing every part of your exposed skin. He parts your thighs with his hands, his mouth watering at the thought of you. Your panties are soaked simply from kissing. His cock cubs up, twitching in its constraints. He ignores his own needs for now. He has all night to enjoy your body, fill you to the brim and make you his forever.
Tighnari uses his thumbs to spread your lips apart, watching the way your clit perks up, swollen and begging to be touched. He coos at the sight of you, watching the way you squirm under his gaze. He wants to tattoo this sight of you into his mind forever. His ears twitch with excitement as his tongue darts out to lick up your slit. He licks up the slick leaking out of your hole. He looks up at you, his hand sliding into yours.
“Look at me,” He says in a low voice, kissing your inner thighs. He continues to stare at your expression before you shyly flutter them open. “There you go. Keep your eyes on me, okay?” His voice is stern, yet so soft at the same time. You dumbly nod, caught in a trance that is Tighnari’s eyes. You see a glimmer of mischief in his eyes as his pink tongue darts out again. This time, Tighnari swirls his tongue around your clit, pressing into the sensitive bud. Immediately, your eyes flutter shut. Wanton moans fall from your parted lips, so Tighnari instantly pulls away. He squeezes your hand, chuckling.
“Open your eyes.” You do just that, falling back into the trance of his voice. “Mm, good girl.” He kisses your lips. You taste yourself on his tongue which spreads goosebumps across your skin. your back arches into him when Tighnari’s nail scratches down your spine.
“Nari, hah. Please?” You feel Tighnari’s fingers dip back into your heat, fingers sinking into your cunt and they curl just right against that spot. You mewl into his shoulder, clawing at his wrist. It feels so good that your body can’t handle it. Your hips buck into his palm, the rough skin against your clit has your eyes rolling back.
“What are you begging for, your highness? Tell me, what do you want?” His lips trail the shell of your ears, chuckling into them. Your lips part in a needy whine, your head feeling dizzy. You shake your head, unable to say anything. “Oh? You want me to stop?”
You quickly hold onto his wrist, rutting your hips against his palm. He laughs again, capturing your lips into a quick kiss.
“I’m only teasing, my lady. Relax,” He lays you down against your plush pillows, having your thighs lay around his hips so your hips are slightly elevated. You bury your face into the pillows, clawing at the soft fabrics. You felt your stomach churning with pleasure, a tight knot forming.
Tighnari finds himself leaning down, lips attached to your neck. He nips at the skin again, this time leaving darker marks. Your hands card through his hair, grazing the base of his ears. That stirred something inside him. A whimper-like gasp comes out of the forest rangers,
“My lady,” he says, breathless, before grabbing your hand away from his ears. There’s a bright flush on his cheeks as he tries to catch his breath. You smile at him, giggling.
“Tighnari,” you coo, hands going back to tease his ears. “I’ve never met someone with such sensitive ears,” He huffs against your neck, flustered from your actions. He quickly has his thumb press against your clit, making you jolt. He presses down on the bud, swirling it around. Your eyes roll back and your chest is flush against Tighnari’s. When did his clothes come off?
It’s a miracle you don’t instantly cum when his tongue peaks out to lick a stripe on the side of your neck. You shiver, moaning into the pillow beside you. Tighnari, the ever diligent man, lets you cum all over his palm. He curls his fingers as you gush around them, allowing you to ride out your high. Tighnari’s entire demeanor changes when he sees your cum oozing out of your hole.
He unbuckles his pants, pulling out his twitching cock. Tighnari looks down at your flushed face, sweat lining your forehead. He takes a few moments to enjoy your features while your eyes are shut. He chuckles, kissing your lips once more. The kiss is so sweet, so loving you might cry. Years of love and adoration spilled into your mouth as Tighnari’s tongue slipped into your mouth. You cling onto the strider, pressing your hips into his.
The both of you gasp together as Tighnari slides into you. The tip was the thickest part, the most difficult. He pushes himself into you, keeping his lips locked onto your. Saliva drips from the corner of your mouths and the two of you are panting into each other. Tighnari groans, trying to hold himself back from rutting into you. You tug at his hair the deeper you sink onto his cock, a tear slipping down your cheek. Tighnari keeps his hands secure on your hips, his thumbs rubbing your waist.
His fingers press into your skin, feeling the softness of it under his fingertips. You moan his name, your voice trembling. Your knees hurt from having to keep yourself from falling straight onto his dick. Tighnari pulls away from you, a thick line of saliva connecting your tongues. He looks at your panting face as his thumb brushes your lower lips. Without thinking, you take his thumb into your mouth, sucking on the finger. His breath hitches.
How long has Tighnari been longing for this? How many times has he prayed you would finally stop peaking around the corner and actually walk up to him and say hello. How many times has his fingers twitched begging to reach out to you? How many times has he wished he did something instead of watch his other two friends sweep you off of your feet while he and Cyno stand at the sidelines.
As Tighnari fully sinks you onto his cock, allowing you the freedom of pressing your weight onto him, he thinks to himself, “Why did he wait so long?” He unconsciously gulps. “Alhaitham was able to do it, why wasn’t he? Why did Tighnari not think he had the honor of being the apple of your eye?” He’s not an insecure man in the slightest. He’s confident in his abilities, knows his strengths and weaknesses, knows his limits. Yet, how did he not find the courage in himself to reach out to you, say hello, sweep you off your feet just like Kaveh did?
You call out to Tighnari, wiping the tears that fall onto his cheeks. He looks up at you, his lips tugged into a frown. You furrow your brows, matching his expression. You kiss him softly once more, before asking,
“What happened?” Your voice is so anxious, so full of love, Tighnari wants to suffocate himself in it. His lips part to speak, but his voice gets lost in his throat. “Do you want to stop?” You ask so softly, he almost doesn’t hear it.
“No,” He says sternly, almost too loud. He refocuses his eyes on yours. He sees the glimmer of the candlelight in your eyes. Archons, have you always been this beautiful? He’s not a religious man, but he would pray to the Archons daily if it meant he got to see you like this everyday. His fingers move your hair away from your face. “I love you,” His voice is so soft, tender. A stray tear falls from your eyes. Tighnari’s heart explodes. “Do you…”
“I love you too,” You cut him off. His eyes widen and his tail is swaying side to side. It’s adorable almost. He sighs into your collarbone, repositioning his hips. He brushes against your most sensitive spot. It has moans spilling out of your mouth. You lay pliant below Tighnari as he presses your knees to your chest. He’s so deep inside of you, you think you might die. However, the gentle rocking of his hips makes you think you might die in heaven’s reincarnation.
“I love you, I love you, I love you,” Tighnari repeats these words over and over as if he’s trying to make sure you bleed that noise in your brain. His voice becomes more strained, borderline whiny. Your fingers reach up to his ears and this time he whimpers at your touch. “I love you. I lo- oh fuck, love you…”
With that, Tighnari spills his love into you, hips stuttering against yours. Your brain feels hazy. Despite your sensitivity, Tighnari keeps rutting his hips against your cunt, tears clouding his own vision.
“Feels so good. Archons, your highness!” He clings onto you, pulling you into his lap, bouncing you on his cock. You don’t recall how long he goes on for, but you zone back in when he presses your shoulders to his chest, his tip easily sinking into your stretched out hole. He uses your combined liquids as lube, allowing himself to sink back into you. You faintly hear the birds chirp and wonder how long Tighnari truly could go on for.
However, that thought quickly subsides as you silently thank those bastard treasure hunters for pushing you straight into those poisonous fumes. If not for them, maybe the two of you wouldn’t have ever been pushed to confess. Tighnari lips graze against you shoulder and you tip your head back to kiss him. Those four days of discomfort were worth it, thank the Dendro Archon for allowing you to have this.

My coworker is a mermaid?!
You’re one of the few merpeople who’s moved to the human city—so long as you avoided being submerged in water, you had enough control over yourself to prevent your legs from shifting back into a tail.
It’s an interesting life, working at a detective agency with Alhaitham as one of your co-workers. But one day when you’re feeling sick from the hot weather and skip a meeting, Alhaitham visits your apartment himself to deliver investigation files; it's the first time you guys have been assigned to a case together despite how long you’ve both been in the company, so he thought it’d be quicker to visit you himself and inform you as such, being the efficient man he is. (You also weren’t answering your texts so he was a little worried—you’ve always been a prompt replyer otherwise.)
…What Alhaitham doesn’t expect however is for you to ghost him at the door despite the lights indicating that you were definitely home. Did something happen? Were you safe? Within this line of work it was definitely possible to get mixed up with enemies of some sort, so with that in mind Alhaitham managed to find the extra key you kept outside (organized as ever, and also something Kaveh mentioned to him while the blonde was drunk) and entered your home.
He calls out your name a few times, at first hearing nothing in response—before the sound of something dropping against the ground echoes from another end of the apartment. Alhaitham follows the clue, bracing himself for a surprise attack if this was really the worst case scenario, and kicks open the bathroom door where he hears scrambling and water splashing—
The first thing he sees is your tail. Glistening against the light, more beautiful than he’d care to admit in the chaos of the moment. Then his gaze falls to your face, your eyes widened in surprise before shifting into panic, and it takes Alhaitham a moment to register that when you struggle to sit up and leave the tub, the tail that lashes water everywhere and flops against the cold tiles is yours.
Suffice to say, he had a lot of explaining to wring out of you once you calmed down. Alhaitham hasn’t heard about merpeople being real since he was a child, and maybe a random conspiracy theory from an unreliable source—but the moment he realizes you’re running a fever, Alhaitham settles his doubts to tend to the matter at hand; picking you up and settling you back into the tub, he avoids your gaze and asks what temperature of water you needed to cool down.
It’s the first of many times that night Alhaitham calms you with his objectiveness. You don’t have to know that his heart was pounding the entire time, unsure if he’d finally gone insane from years of working in the field.
He leaves, promising to inform you about work the next day after you’ve gathered yourself together, and when you arrive at the meeting point Alhaitham almost forgets you weren’t human—dressed in your usual way, smiling like you always would, though with a nervous edge to your tone.
Everyone had their secrets. He wouldn’t benefit much from exposing yours right now—Alhaitham helps you with avoiding water, covering for you by volunteering himself at times. He insists it’s not from a sense of heroism but rather convenience for himself (having drama over your secret being exposed would only interrupt the case)—but how far can he stretch this excuse in terms of keeping an eye on your health, asking if you’re feeling well when the summer’s heat is blazing, and running to your rescue when the investigation’s been turned on its head?
Alhaitham was a resourceful man, but some things (or people) couldn’t simply be replaced by another so easily. He’d protect your identity and wishes and help you reach a happy end, so that you both might coexist like you've grown to desire.
…What a curious predicament he’s landed himself with indeed.

A familiar story...
Kaveh’s a merman that’s well-liked and recognized within his home in the sea. His feats in architecture are renowned, but it comes from a sort of fascination and appreciation for beauty—after all, why else would he seek to build better structures and strive for wonderful things?
And for a creative and genius mind like his, it’s not a stretch to say that Kaveh’s interest extended to the machines of the human world. During shipwrecks and other storms, items would wash into the sea and be scavenged by certain… opportunists, who would supply to merchants that would then mark up the prices for customers like Kaveh, who saw the good in too many things and had enough empathy to pay for more.
—Nevermind his sometimes empty pockets, but Kaveh also liked venturing out to find items by himself on occasion (times where he needed a break from the bustle of the underwater city, just to soak in the sunlight and sky for himself, and being brought to wonder what else was out there in the world above).
Kaveh would be lying if he said he never considered going to the surface, but the temptation only reaches its tipping point when he sees you for the first time at the beach—he’s seen many humans, but not so many that would ramble to their dog while pacing around the beach, throwing sticks for it and then settling down to sketch the scenery. It’s so… picturesque, of a situation, that Kaveh couldn’t help but stick around longer and enjoy the quietness with you.
And after you'd left, the sound of jewelry tinkling still lingers in his mind—you were wearing accessories with the most charming gems and color. It’s a shame they don’t have that material on-hand in the ocean—though wearing jewelry in the water itself wasn’t that practical to begin with.
So of course one day, after a particularly tiring series of events, Kaveh travels onto land for the first time and explores; there are foods he hasn’t seen before in the marketplace and Kaveh buys a cloak to help blend in (yes, he borrowed surface-currency from Alhaitham, though he anguishes at the idea that he has to rely on that guy for this), and when Kaveh gets distracted while looking at a jewelry stall’s offerings, he startles at the sound of a voice he’s only heard from afar.
You offer Kaveh a smile as you ask if he’s looking for something—and within his confusion Kaveh blurts out that he quite likes the earrings you’re wearing, so you smile and invite him to the store where you got them. He’s surprised to learn it’s a pawn shop, but the mere idea that you frequent there makes him feel a little more comfortable; perhaps the both of you were scavengers in your own right, looking for something you haven’t quite found yet.
He doesn’t buy anything, but ends up being gifted with a hair accessory by you—because his hair seems like it could use with pinning up, from how he’s been fidgeting with the ends (hair floats in the water, it does not do the same on land)—and Kaveh flusters even more when you mention it’s on the house (you own this place?!) and that it matches the color of his eyes anyways, so he should keep it.
Suffice to say, Kaveh becomes a regular visitor to the human world after that, forging a type of second-home in the visits to the markets and bringing trinkets he’s found at sea to you. You’re not the main owner of the pawn shop, but your senior is very knowledgeable about the items he’s brought in, even paying a high price for them. It’s all going well until a storm hits your seaside town during an event out at sea—and Kaveh, who had made an excuse to not attend the ship party—rushes to your rescue when you’re the one that falls off the deck—returning you to shore the next morning.
It’s a journey of worries, anxieties and doubts from there on; if you recalled your mysterious savior, Kaveh laments at the idea of you falling for a version of him he has to keep a secret. If you knew it was him, could he still visit the shore so casually again?
Despite everything, Kaveh still has the sense to prioritize the safety of himself and his people. Thus begs the question; did he have the courage to place his trust in you?

Fish in a pool, and a curious fox
It’s not common to find merpeople living in smaller bodies of water, far from the rest of the ocean, but there are exceptions in the town where you and Tighnari lived—where certain species different from humankind created a little haven of their own to coexist and thrive, adorned in nature and springs that one wouldn’t find elsewhere.
What would your friends from university say; you were living ‘cottagecore’ lives?
The first time you met Tighnari, it’d been as kids who wandered away from home. Not to say the town was that big, but there was a little intersecting river between the merfolk and land-habitants, where you swam toward out of curiosity one day, following a stray butterfly. It almost seemed to land on the surface of the water, fluttering before perching still - thus when you carefully tried to resurface from right below it, you hadn’t expected to touch noses with a stranger who sported fox ears and a tail.
Being children, the both of you lacked the initial embarrassment that most people might have in response—instead you simply backed away in surprise, asking for the stranger's name.
There was a short reprieve in which you both spotted the butterfly again—which was flying away in a direction further onto land—but before Tighnari could tell you where it was heading toward, you were both interrupted by the calls of your families to return home.
The next time you met, Tighnari is quick to mention the thought that’d been hanging on his mind—he tried to invite you to the meadow to find butterflies (for you seemed fond of them), before belatedly realizing you couldn’t tread on land. His ears drooping slightly, you quickly told him that maybe one day you could, once you’d mastered how to shift your tails into legs when you were older.
Growing up in your town was a picturesque childhood indeed. The day you first tried walking on legs, you’d been clumsy and needed a hand from your family, who were watching over you that day. Eventually you’re able to run and jump and explore on your own, to which you find yourself attracted to a field of flowers. You haven’t seen so many up close before, and was surprised when a pair of ears peeked out from within them; Tighnari, who was watching ladybugs climbing their stems.
That’s when your friendship properly blossomed, you supposed. As you were both interested in exploring, you and Tighnari would often go on trips together in your free time. You even brought him to the reefs once, teaching him to hold his breath just long enough to witness the beauty that lay underwater.
When you grew older, you learned that reading as many books as you had—absorbing knowledge—would come in handier than you thought. Tighnari is the first to leave the town to study in the city, a similar path his other family members took—and after a year of your own preparation, it was your turn to venture out to the Akademiya, where you heard Tighnari was.
You were independent in your own right, but becoming close friends with him (and maybe harboring a tiny crush) meant you wanted to at least be in the same city if possible. As luck permitted, you succeeded, and met Cyno during your first day when you’d become lost searching for your classes.
You’re surprised to learn later on that Tighnari has spoken of you before—enough for Cyno to ask if you knew of Tighnari based on your description of your home.
“He’d always talk about how beautiful the scenery was there, and exploring it with a childhood friend.”
Figures that when you find Tighnari in person, you wouldn’t be any the wiser about his fondness for you in how he acts—or perhaps you’d become so used to his gestures that it’s now hard to tell. But to those that have met him since he’s been at the Akademiya, there is a clear smile in Tighnari’s eyes when he’s talking to you, and a sense of comfort that they haven’t seen from him anywhere else.

Involved in an underwater crime mystery… Mermaids are real?!
CW: missing persons mystery, reader gets kidnapped by a sea creature/villain (they’re fine though!)
Despite Cyno’s suspicions the first time he met you, you truly were just a wandering journalist that got into a lot of trouble; there’s been cases of people going missing near the seaside lately, thus when you ventured to the scene of the crime in hopes of getting some interviews, you end up getting caught by a mysterious sea creature and brought to the bottom of the ocean—at least, that’s how your story might’ve ended, if Cyno hadn’t spotted your kidnapping and intercepted it before it was too late.
The mysterious creature that took you was shrouded in shadow—some type of cloaking magic to hide its real form, but it had left a marked symbol on you from where it was gripping your leg to pull you under; unsure of what side-effects you may experience, Cyno had brought you to Tighnari first to get rid of any traces of magic before returning you to shore, only to realize that you were somehow breathing underwater, without the use of a spell on his part.
When you wake up, you’re understandably confused and perplexed. Unless you were hallucinating this entire thing, you’re now in an underwater city after being found by Cyno, a high-ranking merman guard, who had rescued you from the same creature that was probably behind the other missing persons cases.
Cyno places a hand on your shoulder in a gesture of comfort when he noticed your hands trembling, but your mind was reeling from the information (and sensory) overload.
One thing was clear: You weren’t going back to the surface until this mark was taken off you (which according to Tighnari, could only fade over time or be removed by the caster of the spell).
You had two options: stay here as a patient and wait things out, or join Cyno on his investigations. You weren’t particularly weak to pretty faces so as to risk your life for them, but the resolve that burned in Cyno’s gaze when he spoke of tracking them down helped steel your mind; you weren’t sure if you could hold on to this hope for long while stranded here alone, but perhaps you could be of some use to him with your intel from the surface, and maybe this decision would end with you having less regrets, for at least being moved to action within this crisis and confusion.
Your job was to document the truth, after all. You want to bear witness to this—to help put an end to the crime and mystery that has engulfed both your community and his.
You’re introduced to Cyno’s world and witness his dedication to protecting the underwater city of Sumeru. You hear stories from Tighnari, during your breaks, about how Cyno used to act back in their Akademiya days. It’s hard to imagine that Cyno could be invested in card games and stories of ancient magic when he was off-duty, but you honestly found the idea of it cute.
Perhaps when this whole ordeal was over, you could ask him to teach you about TCG. You get a glimpse of this other side of Cyno during one night when you’re camping out during an investigation outside the city, and he shows you a bit of elemental magic when you ask if he’s capable of such things too.
Admittedly, Cyno is more combat-oriented these days, but he tells you that he’s always liked the sound of adventures and playing a role different from what he’s used to. You think to yourself that out here, with this demonstration of magic that’s like stealing the stars from the night sky to a mortal like yourself, that he could be anything he wanted to be and you’d still follow him to the ends of the ocean.
But when all was said and done, where would your friendship go? It’s a little selfish, but a part of you is starting to wish that this adventure would never end.

Befriending a bad-mannered mermaid… Have we met before?
CW: Reader has trouble sleeping/insomnia. Mentions of drowning but it’s just a quip from Wanderer, not described or actually happening to anyone here. Uh… just him being mean but it's not from a malicious place. Reader technically presumed dead (?) — it’s a little complicated but I swear it makes sense once you read, it’s not angsty don't worry!
To start things off anticlimactically, you met Wanderer one day when you were walking by the shore at dawn, having had another restless night. With your eyelids finally growing heavy as you leaned against a boulder on the sand, you found yourself drifting to sleep…
…Only to be rudely interrupted by a pebble thrown your way, just narrowly missing your leg.
While Wanderer would simply say it’s because you were interrupting his alone time (who does he think he is, talking as if he owned the beach anyways?!) It was really just a matter of safety. He continues to quip at you, making comments about how you clearly lacked self-preservation if you thought sleeping there was fine, and to not complain that he was a quiet bystander when you get dragged out by the current and drown.
You’re obviously confused and indignant at the same time—not to mention he’d just left immediately after that. But hours later you realize he was talking to you really casually. The next time you encounter him and ask as such, Wanderer simply says that all humans were the same, though some were obviously not a threat to him—like you.
You had half a mind to throw something back at him, only to be interrupted when Wanderer suddenly asked for your name. He’s uncharacteristically silent after hearing it, before telling you his own and disappearing again.
When you couldn’t sleep, you’d go to the beach these days in order to let the sunlight lull you to sleepiness, or—if that didn’t work—you’d draw Wanderer’s name into the sand to be washed away by the waves again and again. You’re not sure who told you this, but there was a saying that whatever message was washed away by the sea would be delivered to recipients in the water. When Wanderer finds you that afternoon, he’s quick to call the belief idiotic—only for you to argue that he did show up anyways.
Perhaps it’s because of how unabashedly proud he acts, but you find yourself responding to Wanderer in a familiar manner as well. You’re not afraid to retort against his remarks, and over time you become friends, though he would hate to admit it so plainly.
…To start things off from a different point of view, your friendship had actually started long before you started having issues with sleep, and perhaps even before you started to live your life on land.
Long ago, Wanderer had a friend who painstakingly wore down his barriers and adopted him as a companion. That is, in the same way a cat and owner relationship might work—though he had no clue what exactly a cat was, for his friend was the only one between them to have ventured far enough into the human world to meet one.
Wanderer didn’t care much about humans, but his friend (who was a merperson), quite liked their creations and stories. They’d always found it amusing to see humans board their cruise ships and pollute the air with their noise, while Wanderer would constantly remind them to not get too caught up in human-watching. What was so great about those land-dwellers anyways?
After a series of events, said friend had gone missing and was presumed dead. So how many thoughts flurried through Wanderer’s mind on the day he saw you at the beach as if to taunt him? How betrayed and confused and annoyed had he felt after rationalizing things in his mind; that if you were a reincarnation of his friend, that you wouldn’t remember anything. That if you were his friend yourself, who’d turned out to have lived, you’d have your reasons for never attempting contact. And if it was neither of those, you were just a look-alike and fate had a really crappy sense of humor for making him stumble upon you like so.
He’d started venturing closer to the surface ever since his friend’s disappearance—partially as a way to get away from the city and the well-meaning but overbearing attempts to comfort him, and also as a little way to feel connected to them again.
Wanderer doubts he’d ever love humans the same way they did, but he’s at least able to appreciate the softness of the morning when the sun filters through the surface just right.
To summarize, yes - you are that friend, though whether you’d been reincarnated after an incident or simply had your memories erased eludes the both of you. The story starts here, and has much to explore henceforth; as much as Wanderer liked to complain, he was quite relieved to be able to adventure with you again. The more time he spends with you, the more he’s convinced that maybe second chances do come true.

Your boyfriend, Tighnari
Oh sure, he likes his peace and his solitude- that’s why he lives in Avidya forest afterall
But the second you’re around?
Yeah he’s attaching himself to you 100000%
Hugging you from behind, wrapping his arm around your waist, holding your hand- the whole nine yards
The two of you met when you were both much younger in Sumeru city and bonded over a love for the forest and all its beautiful creatures as two academic <3
Now, you work alongside him as a Forest Ranger and though he’s definitely in the field more than you, the two of you get to spend a lot of time together
Sometimes it's reading reports and cuddling, sometimes it’s you preparing lunch/dinner for his fieldwork while he refuses to let go of you, sometimes it’s napping while spooning
Either way, you guys touch each other and hang around each other A LOT it's sickening!!!!!
(seriously, everyone around you has cavities y’all are so sweet bleugh)
On the job though, the two are you are very professional and you’re practically his right hand when he’s on the clock
It’s still hotly debated who knows more about what among the rest of the Forest Watchers lol
But as the chief and your boss, he’s a little more lenient
I’m talking about letting you sleep in and miss meetings and responsibilities (mostly because HE wants to sleep and curl up into your side)
But overall, you guys have such a gentle, soft relationship that allows you to both be comfortable and live out your days doing what you love
With the person, you love most <3 :]
Your lover, Tighnari (NSFW)
He absolutely fucks you in the field
If you’re ever going out and working with him, he’ll 100% bend you over or pin you against the tree and fuck you like an animal
He won’t even care if there are others with you
He’ll just find an excuse to get you alone, drop your pants, and fuck you until he’s satisfied
And don’t worry, he’ll take good care of you
Just try not to be so loud outside- he wants your moans to be for his ears only
But naturally, he’ll fuck you at home or in his office too
There, he prefers having you on his lap and writing him
Something lazy and sweet and allows him to watch your face as you take all of him <3
There have been more than a few times where you were almost walked in on while completely caught off guard
Luckily, Tighnari’s good hearing help alerts you two to problems like this so at least you get some warning
That being said, he’s not afraid to stay inside of you when another Forest Watcher walks in and tries to speak to you
You’ll fix your clothes and cover yourself up so that way no one knows but you and him but trust me when I say he won’t offer any help to you when the newcomer starts asking while you look so flustered
Don’t worry though, he won’t be too cruel and start rolling his hips into yours while the other person is in the room
But that won’t exactly stop his wandering hands now, would it? <3
