The Todoroki Children

I know a bit of japanese and when I watched season 2 episode 10 I noticed Rei said 'Kodomo-tachi' which means children in plural, she said kids not just shoto or the kid she talked about all of them. But why? I researched for hours what is the order of the events in this household and Touya 'died' before Rei's breakdown. So Touya wasn't suppose to be there to remind Rei his father, he was gone. And even if he were there his hair was white not red. Fuyumi has more red in her hair then Touya had. That's also means that Enji and Shoto are the only ones with fire quirk in the house. So Shoto is the only one who was suppose look like his father. So why she said children? My friend told me that Natsuo's look a bit like Enji in his body shape and in his temper, but I do wonder how much temper he had when he was eight years old, so it's just bother me she said kids in plural and not one, but it is sad that all of them reminded her of Enji.

Watched lilo & stitch and i was hit with a sad bnha hc idea:

Shouto visits Touya at the hospital after their fight. The elder Todoroki has been in a coma ever since but according to the doctors he may still hear what's going on, definitely is in agonizing pain. Shouto holds his hand which is corpse-like cold and gently strokes his fluffy white hair.

"Despite everything i'm still your little brother. We're family" he whispers, praying that Touya can hear him. "Family means we'll always be together. Me. You. Fuyumi. Natsuo... even Mom"

By now he can't keep the tears at bay anymore. They flow freely down his cheeks and a sob threatens to rip from his chest.

"But if it's too much pain, if you really want to go you can"

Shouto's hold tightens so much that his knuchles turn white. "I won't forget you. I promise. I won't let anyone forget"

He feels Touya squeeze his hand back and after a few seconds the heart monitor starts blaring. The line falls flat and Todoroki Touya can finally rest in peace.

the only reason i barely tolerate endeavors character is because his family in a way need him to heal, not forgive him but his kind of not so good atonement arch i think in a way gave fuyumi and shouto some courage to heal, fuyumi finally saw her father who never gave her the attention she craved from him, give her that attention and i think it started comforting her inner child, which all she ever wanted was a normal and loving family and saw endeavors change as a change for all of them, which why i think she is trying so hard, so they can all heal. i think shouto was more bittersweet to endeavors change because he saw that his father can be decent, which was something only fuyumi and touya had the chance to witness, but simply wasn’t because his greed got to him more than his family, but at the end that is his father and i don’t think that he ever truly hated him, which is expected because we all have complicated feelings for our parents, i think he saw endeavors tries as a way to connect with the people he calls family, but he never had the chance to bond with. natsuos anger will probably never leave, but he will try because deep down all he ever wanted was his parents to pay attention to him. in school briefs it was mentioned that he didn’t really like shouto when he was young because he took his mom away and it was also mentioned that he tried to gain his dads affection too. fuyumi was more like a parent to him than his two parent were. he recognizes his mom as a victim why is why he tried to reconnect with her. i don’t think he will ever forgive endeavor, but i think that he will recognize and accept his atonement because at the end he still is that young boy that all he wanted was his father to pay attention to him and that is what endeavor is trying to do. rei will never forgive, but i think that by her ex husband apologizing to her and trying to make up with their kids will probably give her some closure because she knows that he knows how he made her feel and him even barely owning up to it can help her move forward, because if that man that made her miserable can try for the better so can she.

i think touya is the most tragic of them all. In so many ways he was reminded that all he was, was a failure, an experiment gone wrong. Before he burnt he was reminded, after he woke up from the coma and went back house, every time he saw endeavor. And i think that people forget that his transformation to dabi from touya was not a day transformation, but one that took years. when he woke up he wanted to apologize to his mom, he was willing to try but he was reminded that his existence wasn’t that important if endeavor didn’t try to change after his death BUT after he became the number 1. He was a boy physically 16 and mentally 13 that had to live in the streets and catch up on lost time. A young boy that all he ever wanted was his fathers love, he was failed by both his parents and i think he is the least likely to ever completely heal. because his dad his family is trying too little too late. i think that his mom is the key for him to find closure, after all he wanted to apologize to her when he woke up from the coma, that was the first thing he thought about. he finally started seeing his mom as the victim that she was, started seeing that she was like him, which makes the fact that he looks a lot like her even more sad. also his siblings are an important factor because they were the only people that he could act like a kid too, the only people were he was touya.

MHA Fanfic Idea

I always see fanfics where Izuku is a Todoroki, and I wanted to write a fic that's one step further....and that's making All Might a Todoroki.

Why? Because I love drama obviously.

Nullius Filius

Nullius Filius is the concept title I came up with. "Nullius Filius" is a Latin noun, that translates to "Son of Nobody".

I remember choosing the phrase because of the way I set the fic up, Toshinori, while older than Enji both in canon and in the fanfiction- is their father's illegitimate child that he had outside his marriage with Endeavor's mother.

His father never publicly claimed Toshinori, ergo *boom* the fancy title.

For this fic I came up with names for Endeavor and Toshinori's families which I thought were all pretty neat.

Todoroki Dad Name: Ben Todoroki 等々力 勉 Todoroki Mom Name: Ena Todoroki 轟木 恵名 Sister A: Emi Todoroki 轟木 栄実 Sister B: (I didn't pic a name for her, and I'm still looking) Toshi Mom: Fuyumi Yagi 八木 芙由美

There are fun definitions for the Kanji, it's just been awhile since I chose the names and I never wrote them down. I did however pick Toshinori's mom's name as a nod to Fuyumi in canon.

The concept i had for the plot of the fic was that after the passing of Endeavor and Toshinori's father, Ben Todoroki, It's leaked to the public that All Might is also his son, and therefore a Todoroki.

Enji and Toshinori, while dealing with their father's estate, have to navigate the public eye, their personal relationships, and their own relationship, while also dealing with the complex grief they both feel in response to their father's death.

I thought it would be a fun fic I could work on that would take maybe ten chapters? I'd love to hear people's thoughts and questions on it ngl

All Might and Endeavor last meeting

Okay, look I'm watching my hero academia for the first time. But I know a lot of things, I like spoilers so I know some random stuff about the series. I got to season 2 episode 6 and Yagi and Enji mentioned that their last meeting before the sport festival was ten years ago. Now, I know what happened with the Todoroki family and there were too big events in the household ten years before the festival. Touya died and Rei hospitalization. But what do we know about thier conversation? Could it happened after those events? Enji just returned to the hero gig like he didn't lose his wife and son almost in the same time? And I checked the data I went to read this parts of the manga, it's happened in the same time, those events happened one after another. It's probably was horrible for the kids to lose a mother and brother and their father just do press interviews and meeting with All Might like everything is normal.

Or maybe it was between the events? If the press confrence was about Touya's death like the comment to my post said, what if what he saw when he returned home was Shouto's accident? What if Rei poured the boiling water on Shouto at the same time Enji was in the press confrence? That would explain why Shouto wasn't with his father and she didn't mind talking about him because she knew he wasn't at the house in that moment.
