Hope smiled. "I'll repeat myself. You're going to help me... Or I kill live-action Ken doll."

They both knew what she was referring to. To Sky. If Y/N refused to help her, she'd take it out on Sky. Immediately, Y/N felt this wave of anger, fear, and nausea. "You stay the fuck away from him, Hope." Y/N's eyes flashed light blue as ice forms a pair of fairy wings on his back.

Hope's smile widened. "No need to show off, Y/N. I know you're powerful. Which why this is going to be so much fun. Causing so much chaos and pain together."

Always and Forever.

What Legacies meant to me during the pandemic is hard to explain through mere words, so i hope (pun intended) this little fanart might work as a conductor to explain everything that the Vampire Diaries Universe, especially The Originals and Legacies, made me feel.

Hope Mikaelson was there for me during the most challenging times of my life. I moved three times, quit two jobs, ended a relationship, and found myself sunk in loneliness. However dreaming of Hope, turning on the tv on Thursdays, imagining what would come next to these characters gave me a sense of purpose and pulled me back to the surface. Hope was the incarnation of the words ‘nothing is impossible’ and following her story I felt that in my life as well. I felt like magic was real again.

I’m grateful for the light this amazing character brought into my reality, even if it was just briefly. Legacies is my comfort show and I’ll probably rewatch it five times or so; because just as Hope said, The Salvatore Boarding School for the Young and Gifted will forever be our home.
