@super-secret-agent-of-sin Thank you for the idea of Keith getting captured by Chef alongside the Snackpack! I said it before, but I love the idea!

I wasn't sure how Keith was going to get captured for a while. I was going back and forth between him tripping, or saving another Trolling and getting caught in place of them. (The only reason I chose the tripping one was because I could get the pose right for Keith saving CJ).

Also, sorta Bonus:

I've decided that Guy is the one to try to comfort and take care of Keith while their captured together. Both because I headcannon Guy Diamond being the oldest in the Snackpack(this includes both Creek and Branch as well), 26 at the beginning of the 1st movie maybe? But also to show off those dad skills before he actually is a dad.

DJ Suki would also be stick with them, and help keep Keith calm since I think she'd recognize him from being in CJs Scout group.

not sure Wether this was intentional or just a neat little writing coincidence but in the first film there's a certain irony in how Branch and Chef ended up living their lives following the Trolls escape.

obviously following the escape Branch lived mostly away from Troll society obsessing over the Bergens for all those years.

and well following the Troll escape Chef was blamed for everything by Gristle SR and was Banished from Bergen town.

resulting in her also spending the 20 year time gap living away from society in the woods obsessing over the Trolls letting herself get in kinda filthy state while she was at it 😅😅

so yeah while obviously for very different reasons Branch and Chef did sorta go down a similar path following the Trolls escape.

neither of them moving on with their lives and instead obsessing over the other's species.

sure Gristle Sr told her she had to find the Trolls but as we've seen Bergen town isn't exactly the only society filled with sentient creatures so she could have just let it go and moved on with her life elsewhere.

so yeah neat little Parallel not sure Wether it was 100 percent intentional or not but still.

What was chef’s plan in the first movie?

I get that she was gonna cook up the trolls and serve them for Trollstice but what after? Cause there was a pretty limited supplies, and she was going to cook and serve them all in one sitting. Like throughout the movie she kept saying how “she was keeper of the trolls” and “going to become king because she’ll be in charge of the trolls”…

How uh… how is that going to work? Because she was going to kill them all in one sitting….WHAT THE HELL WAS HER PLAN AFTERWARDS?! Get kicked out again!

Maybe she would’ve found the other tribes, (probably take the techno trolls their the most like pop.) Like I’m genuinely confused. Could that come back in like a future movie? Maybe she put a bunch of them to the side in like some weird creepy cellar? Did she just not think ahead ? I’m just really confused.

Creek x GN Reader

A/N I worked pretty hard on this and really hope you like it. I am currently making a part two. If you enjoy this please do say so! I would also love and appreciate all constructive feedback if any of you have any. Aaannnnd on we go!

Creek ran in the woods after escaping chef and the monster that ate them.

Breaking down he begins to question why he betrayed the others. Settling nearby he brings he knees to his chest and begins to rock. Creek has always felt different from other trolls. Ever since he was young. He didn’t understand who he was as a troll. Thats why he took up meditation. He wanted to see if maybe it’ll help him discover who he really is. It never gave a anwser though so he pretends to be like all the other trolls putting up a mask and acting like them.

When he did betray them he felt like an entirely different person. Driven by fear the worst part of himself was revealed and it haunts him. He felt immense guilt and hatred for himself. Although he begins to figure out more on how he felt back at the village while sitting and thinking. When he betrayed the others he did so, not only because of how he feels but of slight resentment. Maybe because they were what he pretended to be. It's not their fault though, that Creek couldn’t figure out who he is. They didn’t ask for him to put on a mask and pretend to be like them.

After sitting for a while by this rock thinking Creek hears a sound in the distance, from the thick foliage comes out a troll. One he didn’t recognize from the village.

They looked so different compared to the others. Messy hair and rugged outfit. On them they carried a heavy looking backpack. Whoever this was they definitely seemed to be used to the wild.

They stare at him with an almost cold look. Creek shrinks more into himself.

Still staring the troll walks forwards and sits down a little bit away from him. Taking off the backpack they do something Creek didn’t expect. They pull out a handkerchief from their pocket and hand it to him silently.

Such a simple gesture by someone who seemed so cold. It was confusing. He wanted to refuse the gesture. Someone as horrible as him didn’t deserve any kindness. At Least that’s what he thought. Gesturing once more for him to take the handkerchief Creek concedes. All seems quiet for a moment before it’s broken by the stranger.

“Why are you out here?”. The voice was soft. It’d be hard to hear anywhere else besides the quiet woods they are currently resting in.

Creek sniffles and looks down. He wasn’t sure he even had the audacity to tell his story. How could he? It was so soon. Yes he did it to himself, yes he almost got everyone he loved killed out of short lived spite, however a part of himself still pitied him. He couldn’t admit to his faults outloud. Not now, not yet.

The silence continues, until the stranger gets up swinging their pack back on. “You don’t have to say anything if you don’t want to, stay here. I’ll be back”. And off they went deeper into the woods. Creek didn’t know where they were going but they said they would be back right? For a moment he wondered if he should stick around or run while he had the chance. The company the stranger provided however was sort of comforting. After a few minutes of fighting with himself, Creek decides to wait for them to come back.

Getting up Creek closes his eyes and takes a deep breath. Looking up he takes in the stars. He knows what he did is bad, it couldn’t be more apparent than it is now. Creek needed to change. He wants to change, but how?

anyone else read about the abandoned concept idea for TBT where Floyd was going to have been sold to V and V on The Black Market by Chef who would still be alive?

can't remember exactly where I Read this I tried to find it online so I could leave a link but had no luck annoyingly.

or maybe it was director's commentary or something?

but yeah what do you think of this idea? I think it'd have made for an interesting bit of world building having Trolls be sold on the Black Market would be dark as heck and be yet another danger their species faces 😅😅😅😅

plus I've already said in the past Chef returning is something I really want so this would have been good set up for her having a more significant Role again in a future film.

but the fact that they even considered bringing her back makes me sorta Hopeful that it could still happen in the future.

like her returning would make for some great Branch angst I'd like to imagine him just completely freezing Apon seeing her again sorta being in a catatonic state.

maybe his skin even turns Darker again after seeing her somewhat reverting back to how he was as a child.

and Bro zone finding out from Branch or Poppy exactly who she is would be great plus I gotta see them working together as a family having a big final showdown with her.

maybe all working together to subdue her copying the same moves as one of their old dance routines in order to trap her somehow or even using the power of the Harmony to take her down.

anyway maybe I'm getting a little ahead of myself 😂😂😂😂😂😂 I just think since they were considering it maybe Chef coming back is still a possibility in future films and it could make for a great story for Bro zone.

side note. also Branch never really had a confrontation with her in the first movie so I still strongly desire that lol I know for certain story reasons he may not remember her since he was just a little kid.

but it terms of overall writing it's kinda disappointing to have this connection between the characters and not call attention to it at any point in the film.
