Kenneth Williams talks about the recent Carry On film (Follow That Camel) on The Eamonn Andrews Show, aired 25 June 1967 ... in his own unique way. ♡
Camp is a fluid and ever-changing concept within queer culture. In general, camp can be described as a style of humour or performance that is deliberately exaggerated, over-the-top, and often poking fun at traditional ideas of femininity and masculinity.
Camp is often used as a form of resistance against mainstream culture and can be a way for queer people to reclaim power and visibility.
Even though their choreography is a little off, the three disco divas still have their appeal. I'm more worried about their monstrous high-heeled boots. If Eva or Eva or even Eva (my particular favourite) had made just one misjudged step, then bloody chaos could have ensued - with said footwear trampling the poor Discoring audience like Godzilla on a day-trip to Tokyo.
Has anyone watched late night berlin live yet? My god big ideas is such a masterpiece. That's some Morricone level shit. Like my soul literally left my body while I listened to it 😍
I loved the Zeus - Posedion conversation so much because it is the most sibling tm scene in the show so far (after Posedion intervened and stopped his brother from literally murdering his son). They're literally at war one second, there's some levity a second later when they decide they're on the same side and then the youngest brother has to rub in the fact that he won and that he's going to tell everyone else in the family ASAP much to the older brother's absolute annoyance as he rolls his eyes. Not to mention "Who knows about father?" "... Hermes " "So... everyone knows?" Hermes canonically being the biggest blabber in Olympus lmao.
I don’t believe it happens in the books but Percy telling Sally that “he doesn’t get to ignore you” while he’s fine with his dad ignoring Percy himself is extreme book Percy energy
