You ever think about how Obelix's career is "Menhir Delivery Man" like it's his job to make and carry Menhirs. He also doesn't have any money, he's mostly bartering these menhirs but other menhir sellers take actual money for them
Of course, there's the issue where Obelix starts making bank off menhirs but I'm not talking about that one. I'm mostly wondering why people are buying menhirs what do they need them for. Obelix brings people menhirs as gifts too and sometimes they dont have space
Obelix gives the townsfolk menhirs as trade sometimes too, where do they go? These menhirs just disappear. Does Asterix have like a place out in the woods where he puts the many menhirs Obelix has probably given him over the years? Who knows, I certainly dont
Too many people focus on Asterix's job being the "best warrior in the village" where's the "Menhir delivery man" analysis at huh? I wanna see that dialog broken down. Does every village have a menhir delivery man? Certainly they wouldn't be as good at it as Obelix is
-----
Both of my siblings have taken time out of their day to tell me personally that they never think about how obelix is a menhir delivery man, one going so far as to say they never think about literally anything I tweet about that starts with “do you ever think about”

Also if you somehow haven't noticed Galois is incredibly enamored with the life story of his namesake, although he isn't actually that interested in set theory. He loves his name, but is sad that so many people don't know who the original Galois was.
I'd say when he was in middle school he tried to get Galileo and Archi to rp as their namesakes but literally nobody else was on board
I think I'm gonna make it that Galileo and Galois are regular cousins, although tbh I don't think they're particularly close. Galois probably enjoys being around people but I wouldn't be surprised if he got intimidated by his family even if they were incredibly nice people
it's just that a lot of people are probably wowed enough as is by the fact that he can do the calculations to figure out how to potentially make something to solve a problem but the rest of his family can do that and then also implement without feeling weird and it's like oof
Also the actual Galois supposedly felt very lonely towards the end of his life, albeit that was due to the fact that he had just been in jail for a long time.

Ok at first I thought Bizu was sleeping in a cupboard but then I realized I’m pretty sure I HAVE seen beds like this in old houses where there’s like an indent in the wall for just the mattress and that’s it but I can’t find it on google anywhere
I think it was in a lighthouse maybe? Or a farm? It was in one of those “preserved as it was” houses but if I google “old bed in wall” it just gives me those foldable beds
I’m actually surprised I have a photo of this, I thought to myself “yknow Im pretty sure it was in a building where it was also sort of a work place and if it was a windmill I’d have a picture” and guess what, it was in the windmill
It’s literally this exact thing except brown, look it’s even got the drawers. So those aren’t fancy bulky panels on the side of the bed it’s a door
Hold on I wonder if I can find any panels where this is in the background with the doors shut. Probably not but it’d be cool if I did
You see it a few more times as he’s waking up/going to bed in l’integrale 1 but never closed. Anyway it looks like he gets a new one by the 3rd one haha. Also IT SHUTS (with a swinging door not a sliding one)
It gets shut a few times by other ppl but it never seems to be shut in the background of a panel if it wasn’t just shut by someone else. I guess bizu just leaves it open? Also while skimming the third one there’s some like… serious “mess with faeries and get fucked” stuff
Hey so i looked up about these beds and maybe some of you already knew this but apparently it’s a traditional Breton bed. It seemed a little old fashioned to me but Fournier kinda went ham on the “bizu is from Brittany” thing and I think that’s super cool

ANATOMY really struck a chord with me. It's an honestly unforgettable experience, much like the rest of Kitty Horrorshow's library of altgames and nanofiction.
Check it out on https://kittyhorrorshow.itch.io/anatomy and look at the rest of her games, while you're at it. Most of them are free! If you like her work, consider becoming a patron https://patreon.com/kittyhorrorshow/. She's a huge inspiration of mine, and deserves the support!

These 3 screenshots came from a Japanese Diet Pepsi commercial featuring a character called "Pepsiwoman".
These screenshots were caught by Twitter user @caregift, who had asked "why did they make the female Pepsiman so hot and stacked and sweaty" (don't know myself but I'm glad they did)
THESE IMAGES ARE NOT MINE!!! The commercial and Pepsiwoman belong to Pepsi of Japan and the Pepsi company, and I thank @caregift for making the tweet in the first place.
