Flowey's theme is called Your Best Friend, which has a deeper meaning by the end of the game. The song that plays during most of the Omega Flowey fight is called Your Best Nightmare, which is not only a play at Your Best Friend, but also the phrase "your worst nightmare".

This makes song titles like Bird That Carries You Over A Dispositionately Small Gap and Song that Might Play When You Fight Sans even funnier. Toby knows how to come up with good song titles. He just chooses not to.

Was reminded a few minutes ago of Undyne from Undertale, and had to go listen to this track. Nearly a decade later, it still gives me chills.

It kinda shifted the course of how I make characters, and what it means to be a hero. It means that you're willing to sacrifice yourself, to give up everything for the sake of even one innocent. To try and make a difference even if you know you're doomed to fail.

On the side of Undertale itself, this fight also stopped my Genocide run in its tracks because I couldn't beat Undyne because I wanted her sacrifice to mean something, therefore my copy will forever remain with the True Pacifist ending complete.

Just finished re-reading Catching Fire and listening to the Undertale soundtrack. During the last chapter, Katniss is sedated and kept down while people try to talk to her, and I was listening to "Fallen Down." Just as the song was ending the chapter finished. It was such an experience because "Fallen Down" is a song that's cheerful and homey but with scary implications/undertones and it was such a good contrast. Hunger Games and Undertale OST at the same time, highly recommended. There were a bunch of creepier songs at that area of the album on Spotify so I got lucky.

What if in game music can be Heard by the characters? Like it could be some sort of reprezentacion of ones aura.

Example Sans:

When he's chill on the outside his aura and music is goofy, but when he gets angry/frustrated everyone hears megalovania becouse that's what he feels and shows.

What if some humans found out later in life that they can hear aura music by batteling monsters and started recreating the music when they got the hang of it.
