I know next to nothing about Vampire: The Masquerade, but here's a character concept anyway;

A Toreador that's obsessed with 80's/90's retro aesthetics/games and runs a small arcade.

• Operates during the day, since Arcades don't have windows to let sunlight in anyway.

• Snacks on negligent/abusive parents.

• Touchstone is that one kid that runs around telling everyone else what tricks to use to win every single game (there's always at least one in every generation).

• Forges ownership paperwork under different names when necessary, but always works the floor himself. Not a lot of people go to arcades over the course of so many years that it'd be suspicious to see the same clerk.

• Other toreadors hate him because he shows up at clubs in bright neon patterned dress shirts, cut off jorts and obnoxiously purple sunglasses and says things like "Radical" and "Right on" and "Daddy-o"

This is my vision.

VTM character concepts that I am compelled to share as they have completely taken over my brain:

1. A fledgling who wakes up after their embrace to an "Alice in Wonderland"-style "unbirthday party" complete with some rather grizzly tea and presents. Their sire is either a Malkavian who genuinely thinks they are doing something nice, or a very twisted Toreador.

2.  A Lasombra antiquarian bookseller who takes sadistic pleasure in charging Tremere vamps OBSCENE amounts of money for rare occult tomes. 3.  A Salubri vampire who consensually feeds from those suffering from chronic pain in order to give them a little relief, unknowingly creating people addicted to the kiss in the process. 4. Nosferatu with a gorgeous voice who posts songs on social media without revealing their face. They are often asked to perform at Elysium, provoking much jealousy from the local Toreador. 5.  A Toreador dominatrix whose art form is torture. They work with the sheriff to "extract" information, and are currently searching for a fiend to teach them fleshcraft. Please feel free to use any of these as my brain continues to sprout characters without actually having chronicles to play them in lol.

VtM Character Concepts

These are some random ass character concepts that I have in my head since I’ve never had the chance to play. High key inspired by @melonbear51

A social media influencer who’s actually a Setite using their platform to spread the teachings of Set

A Nosferatu who used to be a super attractive model or something. Their sire embraced them out of spite for the Toreador that was courting them

A Ravnos hired hitman who’s a gun-toting, wisecracking, foul-mouthed lunatic. Their main solution to most things is shooting the problem

A Dark Ages one: the doctor in a small village that everyone loves and respects. In reality, the doctor is a Tzimisce who’s been using the townsfolk as walking experiments and controls the whole village

A Hecata that was used as a ghouled hitman for the Giovanni for decades before only recently being embraced by their mother(may elaborate this one in the future)

A past-their-prime prizefighter turned Brujah who uses their vampire powers to start winning fighs again

A Banu Haqim assassin under tight Camarilla control who really doesn’t want to be a murderer anymore

A Ventrue who’s recently set their sites on Pentex and really doesn’t know what their getting involved with

A Toreador who’s a homeless musician but their sire loved their guitar skills enough to embrace them, but for some reason just doesn’t help them out financially

A Tremere witch who actually believes in psychedelic feminism

A Malkavian who only communicates by holding up different holiday gift cards they stole from Tesco

A Brujah social worker who got Embraced as a sort of provocation or call to action by their sire who saw that they were fighting for human rights and empowerment but didn't think they took the fight far enough. There is a constant bit of the sire wanting the childe to act more radically with the power they now possess and the social worker being stuck between two ideals.

VTM Character Concepts I am Compelled to Share: Malkavian Edition

HAPPY HOLIDAYS! Sorry I kinda disappeared off the face of the earth (work has been wild because tis the season I guess), but a bouquet of Mlakavian ideas have bloomed from my brain and I am eager to share them with you all. As always, feel free to use any of these ideas in your campaigns, art, etc. and please do message me about what your characters are up to! Also, PLEASE be mindful that VTM is a dark game so I'd advise against engaging with some of the concepts if you are aren't in a good headspace. VTM is a game, but your mental health isn't. Please take care of yourselves ❤️ With that said, let's get into some concepts for a clan I hold very near and dear to my heart! 1. A Malkavian with severe agoraphobia, but not for the reasons you might think. You see, they are keeping themselves isolated and sticking to one place because every time they go outside, it seems like disaster strikes. Others may say its a coincidence, but this Malkavian is convinced they are a walking herald of disaster, and wants to protect those they love. 2. A Malkavian computer scientist and programmer who scoffs at those who believe in a higher power. Why? Because they are building a God via AI who will shepherd humanity and kindred into a new era . 3. A Malkavian who wakes up every night with no memory of the previous one. To combat this, they obsessively journal, take notes and photographs, and record audio diaries. So far the rest of the coterie hasn't caught on yet, but with every night things become more difficult. 4. A Malkavian who developed an incredibly intense fear of silence after encountering a complete absence of sound during their embrace. To avoid it, they always have headphones to play music on their person, and tend to do things like drum their fingers against tables to produce noise. Though this helps, it can be irritating to other kindred, and a big hindrance during espionage and infiltration missions. 5. A Malkavian who, desperate to cure their derangement, has begun hunting down and diablerizing Salubri, believing the clan of healers’s blood is the solution to all their problems.

6. A Malkavian who is nonverbal due to a fear that some of their Dominate abilities, which have been erratic and uncontrollable in the past, act up. In life they felt helpless over the fact that many things were out of their control and wished they could have things their way, but now they regret their wish with all their heart.

7. A photographer Malkavian who strongly believes in the idea that when you take someone’s picture, you capture a piece of their soul. Fascinated by the fact that the Lasombra don’t show up on cameras correctly, they are obsessed with the idea of getting a proper snapshot of one and analyzing it.

My first attempt at a Nos design with this ‘version’ of the Nos. I love the classic Nos design, but I wanted to take a crack at playing into the animalistic ‘Warren’ side of the clan and it’s lore. Gangrel tend to be large predatory mammals and birds of prey- so I wanted to try making reptilian and ‘vermin’ nos.
