The first time you saw him cry (Wally Darling x Naga!Reader)

(Naga!Reader hypnotizes Wally for the first time and it has a strange side-effect. For the first time ever in his puppet man life, Wally experiences tearful sadness)

Wally: (sniffing and feeling something wet on his cheeks) What...What a-are those?

Y/N: (Gently and with compassion, rubbing his back. They stop their spirals) Those are tears, Wally. Sometimes, humans get sad. And when we get sad, we sometimes need to cry.

Wally: (wiping new tears in vain) C...Cry? (He touches his throat) Ow...my throat is so tight. I can't swallow...I want it to stop...M-make it stop.

Y/N: (gently, with a compassionate smile) I'm deeply sorry, but the best cure for sadness is to sometimes cry it out. (They wipe his tears) That seems to be the case for you. Your heart is heavy, I can sense it. (They kiss his forehead)

Wally: But...I don't wanna fall apart...I'm scared...Will it go on forever?

Y/N: (They nod ''no'') No...Especially when you are near a loved one. (They open their arms) Come here. You won't fall apart in my arms. I'll keep you together...And sadness will come out and leave, I promise.

Wally: (sniffs and tremble, then finally hugs Y/N, holding on to them for dear life and fully letting go.)

Y/N: (Hums ''Beautiful Dreamer'' and lovingly strokes his hair, coiling around him in a protective, womb-like cocoon). Breathe, love...breathe...

Wally: (sobs some more then exhales in relief, huddled against Y/N like a newborn)

Y/N: (Warm, half-lidded smile) Do you want some more spirals? I can fill you with comfort, now.

Wally: (tiredly) Yes...Please.

Y/N: (They lie him down in their coils, craddling him as if he were in a baby scarf of coils and hypnotizing him) Jussst relaxxx, my dear child...🎵Baby mine, don't you cry...Baby mine, dry your eyes.... (Gently laying his head on their heart) Rest your head close to my heart, never to part, baby of mine...(They stroke their nape) Little one, when you play...Don't you mind what they say...Let those eyes sparkle and shine, never a tear, baby of mine.🎵

Wally: (as Y/N hums, his spiralling eyes begin to feel heavier by the seconds. He yawns and snuggles up. A small smile slowly creeps on his face. His eyes eventually gently close)

Y/N: (Kissing his forehead,again) From your head to your toes...You're so sweet, goodness knows...(They sink into the cocoon, lying on their back comfortably, like a bird in a nest, gently pulling Wally unto their chest with their arm, Wally still wrapped in the baby scarf of coils.) 🎵 You are so precious to me, cute as can be, baby of mine. Wally mine, Wally mine...🎵 (They smile and nuzzle his blue hair, making him almost giggle in his sleep. Then they stretch themselves gently and drifts off with him as well).

Human Illustrator Wally x Reader (part 2)

Fun fact: I like to listen to music that fits the vibes of what I'm writing and I wanted something more cheery an whimsical for this... but my dumb brain likes sad/creepy music and I couldn't find anything I liked that was truly happy, so I ended up listening to Bo en's My Time while writing this.

🐻 When you arrive at the daycare, you quickly show everybody the book. Opening it to the back page, where he signed it, you see his name scribbled down. It is slightly messy, with all the letters being capitals and the "L"'s being slightly sideways. From what you can tell, it fits his silly little personality.

🐻 However, right as you begin showing everyone the book, you remember that some of the kids won't be able to see it that well, if at all... Oh no, now you feel like garbage...

🐻 One of those exact kids, a little girl related to Howdy, the local store owner, asks "Can I hold the book? I wanna see if something I heard works!" You grow quiet, before saying "Sure." To your surprise, all of the kids are watching and whispering "Right... Let's see if it works..." What in the world are they talking about?

🐻 She holds the book in her hands, which you made sure to keep opened to the signature. She runs her hands across it, before she makes it to the signature. She flinches, before gently pushing down on it. Her little face beams with the joy of a thousand summers as she chirps "He cares! I can feel it! I can feel his name! Johnny! Johnny, get over here!" "You're right, Henny!"

🐻 You are shocked, as well as a bit confused. You don't understand and want to investigate, but you want to wait for the children to calm down and let them have their fun. Even a few of the children with no visual impairments are pressing their hands on the book, chirping that they can feel it, too. You have an idea as to what it could be, but you want to check, first.

🐻Henny calls you over "Ms./Mr./Mx. (Y/N)! Come on! Feel it! I know that you probably didn't think to do so because you can see it, which is alright, but it's so cool!" You gently take the book, staring at the signature, before placing your fingers on his name. Your suspicions are confirmed as you grin.

🐻 While writing his name, he must've pressed the pen down hard enough to leave an indent to let all the kids be able to experience his signature. "Wow... Henny, how were you able to tell he would do this?" Henny, as well as the other kids, all start speaking over one another. You can hear Henny's voice over the rest, though, as she practically shouts with pride "My dad is friends with him! He constantly talks about how Wally does things like that for kids! My dad was the one who gave Wally that idea!"

🐻 You look down at her, expecting the other kids to tell her that she is lying, however, they go along with her claims. "I saw Mr. Wally at his store a few months ago with my mama! He tries to do that thing where people dress up as someone else, but his blue hair is very recognizable!" "Yeah! He helped me reach that apple toy on the top shelf! He then got another one and bought it for himself!" "Howdy is so cool for knowing celebrities!" "Doesn't Wally also know Ms. Poppy, that baker? I saw a show where she baked a cake in the shape of one of the bears he drew!" "I heard Mr. Wally gets his clothes from Julie's Joyous Clothes Company and is friends with Julie Joyful, herself!" Slowly, but surely, the talks about Mr. Darling and Howdy knowing each other turns into children's gossip about which famous people Mr. Darling does and does not know.

🐻 You think about the number in your pocket, subconsciously placing your hand over it. You don't know enough to know if any of their gossip is true... But you have the means to find out more about the mysterious, cheerful man. You can also make these kids so happy by having him visit! They can ask him questions about what they want to know, too!

🐻 Mr. Abbott walks into the recreation room, smiling as he asks you "Looks like these kids have Darling Fever, eh, (Y/N)? Do you want to go outside to relax? It is, technically, your day off today. Andy can take it from here." You giggle at the words "Darling Fever", before nodding. "Yeah. I actually want to talk to you about something, if you don't mind."

🐻 The two of you walk outside, sitting on the bench at the front of the daycare. You take out the paper from your pocket, saying "Mr. Darling gave me his number to call if you ever want him to visit the daycare." He gasps, looking at you "He... gave you his number? That's amazing! Wait, why are you trying to hand it to me?" You tilt your head and you hold it out to him "Well... you own the daycare? So it would make sense for you to call?"

🐻 He shakes his head quickly "No, no... he gave YOU his number! He very rarely gives out his number to people. I don't know why, but I think it might be that he doesn't trust many people with it. So, I can only assume he gave it to you because he trusts YOU. If I called, he might be uncomfortable." You look down at the paper, asking "Really...? There is so much I don't know about him. Should I call to see if he can visit? He must be a busy man... I don't want to bother him while he is doing something."

🐻"It's now or never. I know you. You'll be too nervous to call if you don't do it now." You smile, taking out your phone and calling the number on the paper. It beeps a few times, before somebody picks up and says "Hello?"

🐻 You take a deep breath. You can hear the voices of the crowd at his book signing in the background. You must've called during it... You hesitate, before saying "Hello! Umm... Is Mr. Darling there? I am from the Apple Castle Learning Center. He gave me his number and told me to call to see if he can visit?" The man on the other end of the line hums in thought, then says "Let me go get him. He has been waiting for you to call. It might take a moment, so be patient."

🐻 You tense up, feeling your heart race. He has been waiting for you? You look to Mr. Abbot, who places a hand on your shoulder to try to comfort you. He whispers "You're doing great! You got this!"

🐻 The man on the other end of the line suddenly shouts "COMING THROUGH! MR. DARLING'S GOTTA VERY IMPORTANT CALL! OUTTA THE WAY! HE'LL BE BACK IN A MOMENT!" You flinch from how loud it is, but you are shocked when you hear Wally's voice in the crowd, asking "Did they call? Please tell me it's them!"

🐻 It takes a bit, but you hear the crowd's voice die out, before Mr. Darling says a quiet "Thank you, Barnaby." Then, your heart races when he says "Hello? Is this (Y/N)?" You grin, saying "Yes, it is! Umm, I was wondering if you would like to set up a date and time to visit the Apple Castle Learning Center?"

🐻"That would be just lovely. We can talk about it tomorrow. Do you want to meet up at Howdy's Place? I'm friends with the owner. We can sit and talk at the little cafe area near the back. They serve some lovely milk tea. We can talk it all over then. I know you have some phone anxiety from your tone." "Of course! How about we meet there at 12 PM?" "That would be lovely. I'll see you then. Goodbye, (Y/N)." "Goodbye."

🐻 You end the call, looking over to Mr. Abbott and telling him the plan. He pats you on the back, telling you how well you did on the phone. You write down some things you need to ask Mr. Darling about, such as what date and time would be best for him to visit, as well what activities would be best. Then, you suddenly realize something... You never told Mr. Darling your name and there is no name tag on your uniform. The daycare doesn't have enough funds to make them... So how did he know it...?

🐻 You write down at the bottom of the list to ask him about it at Howdy's.

OK SO THIS POST IS FOR @spongebob636 AND @charlieqs WHO ASKED FOR LITTLE!WALLACE (and cg!Mobile!!!) hi guys!!!!

i'm personally not picky at all so in my perfect EVERYONE REGRESSES AND EVERYONE CAREGIVES so here ya go!! :3

Little!Wallace (and a bit of Cg!Mobile!!)

Wallace was always the caretaker. Almost never on the receiving side. It's how it always was, so he says he got quite used to it. He had a ton of experience as a caregiver, but the thought of regressing himself never crossed his mind.

That was until Mobile came along. Who is, as we know, very intense, and likes to ask a lot of very logical questions Wallace can't answer. Which confused him when they first started dating, cause hey, he's the normal, stable, and rational one!

"Daily alcohol consumption is not very rational" "...... :/" "Drinking 2 liters of diet coke every day is not very rational" "...... :/" "Neither is falling asleep in your outside clothes" "Sorry :("

Sad little guy got scolded for the first time since he was 10 and spent the whole evening sulking, apologizing for something that he has little control over and craving comfort. Poor boy. He wanted hugs! Cuddles! He wanted to be told he's good and everything's alright!

And Mobile provided just that, and even let him fall asleep on his lap as he works.

"Have you considered the thought you age regress yourself?" "No" "Clearly".

Wallace would describe his little age as either around 7, or just "Dunno, tinier than usual".

It took him a lot of time to actually learn to accept care when he regresses. His first few times regressing he was anxious he'd be too much, so he kept insisting on how he could do everything himself, he's a big boy, don't worry, he can handle everything!!

Then he got his shoes tied for him and he got very emotional.

Then he got called "Wally" and he cried.

Wallace is a very talkative and attentive little! Needs to know all the gossip even though he's 7 years old. Also asks a ton of questions

"Whatcha dooin? :3 What's that thing for? Did you know that?..."

He's very hard to put down to sleep cause he wants to talk and talk and talk!

I think he'd enjoy hanging out with baby/toddler regressors while he's regressed, and being the big brother!! He's very social, so he has many and many playdates

Also! Little vampire Wallace! It's his favorite play pretend! He wraps a blanket around himself like a cape, makes bite marks with a red marker and runs around munching on fruit and hissing on lamps.

I FINALLY HAVE A FAVOURITE HUMAN POKEMON CHARACTER!!!!

I've been playing Pokemon since probably 2010, and i've never really had a favourite Pokemon character that was human. I mean i do love some characters like Cynthia and Wally, but i just never saw them as my favourites, and it's been like that for years.............UNTIL NOW!!!!

As much as Pokemon Scarlet/Violet has such a wonderful story, as well as fantastic character development. Kieran's arc is the only thing within the game that legit shook me to my core.

Like there were so many thoughts racing through my head after i finished the Teal Mask, and that post ending!!! That gave me serious chills.

I will never forget that battle i had with Kieran when playing the Indigo Disk. That was the most insane and intense Pokemon battle i've ever had in a long time. I legit felt like i was fighting for my life. I haven't been backed into corner like that for years.

What made it worse was that I found out after the battle that, for the first time in Pokemon history, Kieran canonically surpasses Cynthia. And given how she's left tons of players with PTSD, that's a horrifying title to have.

Kieran is more then just your "friendly rival", and i have no idea how to put it in words. One things for certain is that he is nothing like the other rivals in the other games, Kieran was out for blood, specially your blood.

I already considered Pokemon Violet as my favourite Pokemon game of all time, and playing the DLC and the Epilogue, that just deepened the title.

I'm so happy i bought it, and i'm glad Kieran stays our friend at the end too :)

But to think that this timid little bean would become my new worst nightmare lol

Congratulations Kieran, you are now part of my "favourite characters from different fandoms" collection, you've earned it <3

Answering a few asks below.

Please don’t read if theorising regarding relationships isn’t your thing.

I am still not sure what to think about this whole thing so I’m letting myself theorise big time. You’ve been warned.

Makes sense that this marriage has always been open if this is how it got to be in the first place. I know people want to believe in Disney like marriages but unfortunately usually it’s a little different. But hey her career basically became creating their image on social media and to make the marriage a brand and majority believed in the perfect marriage so job well done. But something could never click for me and at least I think it makes sense now why.

Quite interesting though… when you have this type of a marriage, this is if we consider it hasn’t turned into full on genuine love over time… what happens when along comes a man completely and utterly in love with your guy and your guy genuinely falls for him too? The real genuine love and adoration. Must be an… experience. Threatened/insecure/“mine” posts make a little more sense now. Agreement to let them be too. And sudden massive PDA to calm down the insecurity too. Of course maybe it did turn into proper love over time and it’s simply normal Poly arrangement. I’m just thinking when you play with fire, wrap yourself into a relationship that didn’t come to be from pure love, and then someone comes in and showers him in that real love… sorry it’s just that hearing DT suggesting he thinks there’s someone out there for him still (was he starving for the real deal?) made me think about this. Unless I remember what he said wrong but I don’t have time to listen to the whole thing lol.

But yeah, DT, it’s a Welshman apparently. Would you have guessed.

Well we know the answer to that question. Of course it wouldn’t be okay.

It doesn’t trigger me, but if there is one thing I will tell every single woman out there, every time, please never ever stalk a dude, tattoo his name over yourself, and chase until you get pregnant and hope he chooses you over a career. If the rest of the story is true too with her dad… Lord, why.

Always fear a beautiful Welsh man coming in and swooping the man away with genuine love and romance.

NG pretending he had no idea is such a full on bullshit. Dude really gave three roles to the family - the father in law, the son, and wanted GT in it too but she apparently said no. Bruh what are you even doing. Or is this DT desperately trying to get the whole family to work. I don’t even know anymore but I’m sad it’s happening in a show I like so much. Where’s Wally? Or Tennant in fact.

I always find it funny when people believe the persona DT created. I do think he’s genuinely a funny good dude, but he’s not an innocent baby people want him to be. He’s over 50 years old and has been in the business for majority of his life. He knows exactly what, when and how to say. I think he knows exactly what he’s doing now too and he sorted out BAFTAs for the three of them perfectly too. The interviews, the name dropping, the paid for articles, the PDA, the sketch. He’s the one who keeps on telling everyone he has a lot of secrets and creates personas for the public.

It’s just being comfortable isn’t it. Some people really want to see their favourites as heros so they believe only the good. Fuck it, I love the dirt 😂 Zero interest in peach perfect celebs. No need to put anyone on pedestal or look up to them. These stuff are what’s interesting to read.

Sorry I don’t have any proper thoughts about this. Whole situation is wild.

Finally got around to making Sage/Rosemary's Neighbor Chart!! Maybe now I can finally get myself to do her official Neighbor description XD

Welcome Home and all it's characters belong to the great @partycoffin!! The Neighbor Chart template belongs to w i s d o m#0465 (thank you for making it)! Sage and Rosemary belong to me (@the1trueanon) -w-

Here's a further description of all of their relationships for you guys! ⏬

Wally: Sage isn't very close to Wally at first, though he does make it known that he is looking out for her in little ways. Though sometimes it seems almost as if Wally is sad or wistful around her. Despite this and some of his weird behaviors, they end up as rather good friends until Sage starts remembering Rosemary. Wally and Rosemary are very close. When Rosemary was alive, Wally was one of her closest friends and confidants. Now, Wally acts as a guide and companion as Rosemary remembers herself and tries to work out who she is, and Rosemary teaches Wally about the Outside and about himself and all the new things he learns and experiences. The two of them have the closest relationship, and love each other very much. One could potentially call them soulmates @:3

Barnaby: Barnaby and Sage are pretty good friends, though they aren't particularly close at first, They become much closer when Rosemary starts coming back. Barnaby and Rosemary become practically besties, as both of them adore making horrible, horrible jokes together. He's also an older sibling/father sort of comfort figure for her at times. The two of them and Wally hang out a lot.

Sally: Sage and Sally are very close, and end up dating each other! Sally prompts shy Sage to do more things, while Sage is Sally's voice of reason. However, the relationship between Sally and Rosemary is complicated. Though Rosemary and Sage end up as one person and still love Sally, and Sally still loves Sage, their relationship is strained with the introduction of Rosemary. But no matter if they stick together or break off their relationship, Sally and Sage/Rosemary will always be close.

Poppy: As always, Poppy plays a generally "motherly"-like role for both Sage and Rosemary. She and Sage often share recipies, complete with ingredients from Sage's garden. Poppy was also very key to helping Rosemary adjust when she finally came back to herself. When Rosie would have panic attacks or get overwhelmed, Poppy, Barnaby, and Wally were the main three able to help her step away and calm down again. Rosemary finds Poppy's company very comforting and cozy.

Frank: Frank and Sage are really good friends! Frank enjoys being around Sage as she's much calmer and less energetic than the others, and listens whenever they like to talk. The two share lots of gardening tips and ideas, and Sage gives them recommendations on what plants to try out in their garden. While Rosemary is noticeably more energetic and chaotic than Sage, Frank is still pretty close friends with her too. With Rosie's new confidence, she and Frank can now enjoy sassing each other back and forth XD The two are still gardening buddies all the way, and Rosemary even helped Frank with setting up an apiary once for him to study bees!

Howdy: Whether Sage or Rosemary, the general relationship between her and Howdy remains pretty much the same: she's one of Howdy's suppliers! Whether it be flowers or herbs, syrups or supplies, Howdy and Sage pretty much engage in a "tradesies" sort of deal. Sage, of course, still runs her own shop, but a lot of her supply also goes to Howdy's store. A bonus, however, of the addition of Rosemary is that Rosemary now engages in jokes with Howdy and Barnaby, typically resulting in the three of them dying of laughter on the floor!

Eddie: Eddie is probably the neighbor Sage/Rosemary has the least relationship with, though they're still good friends and enjoy spending time together. However, between Sage/Rosemary's work and Eddie's hectic schedule, the two don't normally get to spend time together unless it's in a group. Unfortunately, they're both workaholics 😅

Julie: Julie's bouncy personality typically overshadows Sage's calm and quiet demeanor, so while Julie and Sage are pretty good friends, most people wouldn't particularly recognize it. Sage is pretty good at helping calm Julie down when she gets overexcited however, and Julie -- like Sally -- pushes Sage to come out of her shell. Julie and Rosemary, on the other hand, are very obviously good friends. Paired up with Frank, the three of them can start a teasing spree that never ends! If Rosemary isn't with Wally and Barnaby, you'll absolutely find her with Julie and Frank.

Wally Headcanons because he's one of my favorite rivals

-Shorter than May and Brendan. I say this because masters made them the same height. I know everyone in Masters is a bit older than how they were introduced, BUT I STILL FIND IT CURSED. WHY IS HE AT EYE LEVEL WITH THEM??

-Saw a headcanon that he's trans, and I have decided to adopt it as well

-Really silent when he walks, and it scares the shit out of May and Brendan

-Had a ninja phase when he was younger, which is probably where he learned how to walk really quietly

-Because Beni makes potato mochi, I have decided that Wally also loves potato mochi. Other foods he enjoys are smores and cinnamon roles. His favorite drink is ginger tea

-Wally has a fear of the dark and is a bit embarrassed about it. Luckily for him, his magnezone is always willing to provide light for him. He also has a small fear of germs and heights

-Ya'll watched Twilight Wings, right? John is a sick kid that wants to start a Pokemon Journey, which is similar to Wally, and he looks a lot like Wally as well. Considering Wally became a really strong trainer, I like to belive that John looks up to him (I actually read a fic where they met. It's called "Fans" by skippingmud on Ao3!

-Wally has a stutter. It got better as he got older, but it becomes a lot more prominent when scared or excited

-His favorite music genre is rock music, which surprises a lot of people. He'll just be sitting on a bench peacefully Journaling his day while listening to hard-core rock music

-Has tried to use Mega Gallade's cape as a blanket, only for him to be sad when it disappeared (obviously weren't battling at the time, which is why it dissaprared)

-He really enjoys literature and journaling and kept a journal with him about his experience and battles on his journey

-Likes receiving gifts but gets really embarrassed when someone gives him one because he feels like he's being spoiled. And then he always tries to return the favor

-We already know this is canon, but he's really close with his Gallade. When he caught him as a ralts, he was a bit nervous around him because it was his first pokemon, and he was still learning, but he was able to relax and gain more confidence with it. Now his Gallade is really protective of him

-He is a bit of a history nerd and enjoys learning about the 1900s

-Would get along really well with Allister

-Worries and overthinks things a lot

-Wally wouldn't curse when he was younger (whole time period in Oras basically), cursed a bit as he got older (masters), and as a teenager, he still won't curse much but when he's annoyed he'll straight you say, "Please fuck off I have a Garchomp and a Gallade who can mega evolve. I don't feel like dealing with your bullshit right now"

Since the utter disappointment of YJ and the way they treated, Wally, I’m trying to slowly get back into Flash comics, but I’m almost a decade plus behind. So knowing this, what’s the deal with Barry’s kids. Other than Don being Bart’s dad and living in the future, what else is really known of them? When was the last time they were really relevant? Irey and Jai seem to have been around forever (pre New 52 of course) but barely a mention of Barry’s kids. Am I wrong? Like I said before, way..way behind. Thanks.

Alright, first of all: sorry this took so long to answer 😅 I have a lot of asks I want to get to but I want to make sure I give them all my full energy to do deep dives and fully engage, ect so it's... taking a bit lmao

Without further ado, let's get into the Tornado Twin lore:

So interestingly enough the Tornado Twins first appeared in Adventure Comics #373 as the descendants of Barry Allen. They were listed as non-metas (aka, they didn't have powers) in the government database and were said to have just gained temporary superspeed from an experiment. They seemed to have a shaky history keeping any powers they got and eventually seemed to lose them entirely.

All of this (being descendants, not having powers, ect) is later explained/retconned in the Flash when Wally time travels and meets them. He finds out that the Thawnes are hunting them down and that Iris had forbade the twins from using their powers publicly (hence why they had to say they only had temporary powers) and from revealing that they were Barry's children.

Wally has a few adventures with the Twins in the future. They... don't get along well. Don and Dawn are jealous of Wally's father/son relationship with Barry (Barry died before they were born and they'd never even met him) and Wally was jealous that they were actually Barry's flesh and blood children. All three of them kinda get over it and can be friendly but it's still always there in the background.

Now the twins had been raised solely by Iris in an apocalyptic future and as soon as they were able to, they went out and started fighting in space wars and fighting with the Legion and helping their time traveling cousin fight crime. Dawn got married and had her daughter Jenni. Don got married to the daughter of the man trying to kill his family, Meloni Thawne, and together they became pregnant with one Bart Allen.

Before Bart was born Meloni's father put a hit out on the Allen family. The Dominators took the contract and killed Don and Dawn. They attempted to kill Jenni and her father as well but failed and Jenni and her father went into hiding. Jenni was eventually forgotten about/dismissed as they thought she didn't have powers. Bart was kidnapped by Dominators and then by President Thawne, his own grandfather, and they stuck him in a VR world hoping that he'd die of old age within a few years. (How sad is it that Barry died saving the world and never got to meet his children and then Don goes and does the same thing? If Bart ever has a kid he needs to be put on house arrest)

Now Thawne fucked with this timeline because of course he did and he intercepted the twins when they were still in that angry preteen phase. He kidnapped them, brainwashed them and then set them loose on Barry in the past. This was technically Barry's first time meeting his children. Bart reset this timeline with the power of love and now this never happened.

That's the long and short of it all. The twins only have 30 appearances in DC comics and honestly not a lot has been done with them. My current theory is that Iris is pregnant with the twins right now because she said that she had "two surprises for Barry" and now she's just waiting for him to get back from saving the multiverse to tell him but who knows with DC?

being the youngest sanderson and the most beautiful sanderson in her opinion, came with its ups and downs. mostly ups, and she is very grateful for that, but the downs were not so fun. like the constant yelling from winnie or the smacks to the head when she did something wrong, which in some people's eyes were a lot, but other than that she pretty much did whatever she wanted.

still, when her sisters called to her, she dropped everything to get to them. her sisters are her favorite people, her number ones. she would do anything they asked of her without a complaint. though she does wish winnie could be a bit nicer about things.

she learned at a young age that she could pretty much get people who were not her sisters to do whatever she wanted as long as she batted her long eyelashes and swayed her hips the right way. oh, how the boys used to fall at her feet! and that was before the witchcraft!

the witchcraft was an added bonus in sarah's eyes. each sister had their own special gift and hers was her siren song. sing a spell, lure the children, stay young forever! it was such a good plan. of course, it didn't turn out too great in the end and made a lot of people upset, but they were just jealous that her and her sisters were so beautiful and strong.

dying was such an uncomfortable experience, but clearly they were doing something right if they came back! sarah took this new chance of life to live it up the best she could. honestly, she knew her sisters were pretty worried about not remembering why they were alive and all that serious stuff but sarah could honestly care less. she is a business woman now! she couldn't even dream of doing something like that back in salem!

it just made sense to sarah to start a business doing exactly what they used to do but in a way that didn't make the townspeople hate them! and she was giving back the youth or something, so that had to count, right? she is good at what she does and her charm and her magic get her far. she embraced her life in evermore with open arms and it has been kind to her and her sisters. what more could she desire?

well...she had a few additional desires. like a few guys to mess around with. she remembers her cages and what fun she had locking boys in her cages...which she now knows is something she cannot just do whenever she wants to! that doesn't mean she hasn't found herself one. but it is unused. a sad, but factual thing.

she has had quite a few lovers in the past, but her favorite had always been billy butcherson. for some reason, people thought that he was winnie's boyfriend, but that just was not the case. he was hers and she might have even loved him once, but he is dead and she is not. so that is that. plus winnie would totally kill her if she tried bringing him back or something of that nature.

she has a deep love for spiders. they are her favorite little creatures. favorite snacks too! but she tries to not eat them in front of others. she has learned the hard way that people do not seem to like that.

she keeps a lucky rat tail in her pocket at all times. it is her favorite charm. it has never done her dirty. she was a little heartbroken when she realized she was going to have to enchant a new one since her old one didn't follow her to death, but she makes due.

sarah is not a good secret keeper. she blurts things out all the time without meaning and she can make her sisters pretty mad by doing that. she is working on it! but sometimes she simply forgets a secret is a secret in the first place.

sarah isn't really scared of much beyond winnie. she normally takes delight in the things that go bump in the night. they make her want to bump along with them! the only real fear she has is the fear of rejection. she can't handle rejection. rejection tends to make her...do awfully wicked things in retaliation. also never call her ugly! that brings out her mean side fast!

siren song aside, she does really love singing in general! she has to be careful with it since her magic can easily send the mass the wrong way...but she is hardly ever careful with anything she does!

she does not understand modern slang. at all. she uses it wrong every single time she tries to incorporate it.

sarah at her core just craves affection and attention. she doesn't always want it to be lustful or romantic, but it is what she knows best so it is what she gravitates to. sometimes she just wants to be told she is doing a good job or that she matters.

I'm actually annoyed at how much I enjoyed The Flash. After years of anticipation for some kind of Flash movie, watching this particular one go through almost every shade of production hell only to top it off with Miller getting embroiled in a string of assault, battery, kidnapping, and peace disturbance charges has been quite an experience.

It's difficult not to sully the movie as a piece of media with a hundred awful extenuating events, after all there is no case for Death of the Author here, Miller and Warner Bros. are very much alive and very much responsible and accountable for all wrongdoings. I deeply hope that Ezra Miller is getting the mental health treatment they need and will find time to openly apologize and make reparations for the widespread harm they have caused in due course. Additionally, WB is not innocent in its contributions to toxic working environments and unfair payment practices to both Writers and Actors. So, please, bear all this in mind during moments of praise dolloped throughout this review.

That being said:

This was way more fun than it should be considering the mess that preceded it.

Ezra Miller is (despite their personal life) incredibly charming and affable in both roles, not to mention still a talented performer who dragged out some real emotion in the final act. Sasha Calle pulls out a measured and organic performance in Supergirl, she is unfortunately burdened with a script and a film that doesn’t deserve her. Keaton, I think, makes me the most sad. After delivering a poignant and deftly crafted Riggan Thomson in Birdman, an actor haunted by the spectre of his superhero past, constantly trying to escape the shadow of the capeshit he spent his life performing in, there is a remarkable lack of awareness from Keaton’s agent and himself in getting back into the Batsuit not once but twice in the span of a few years. That Bat Credit Card was maxed out I guess.

Maribel Verdú as Nora Allen is particularly lovely for the short amount of screen time she has, a real emotional pillar in a silly silly film.

Everyone else was either fine or too completely average to be noticeable.

God, this film looks fucking atrocious. I won’t hear that the speed force scenes VFX were intentional, from top to bottom The Flash looks like a slop of shit, over saturated colours one minute, washed-out Snyder browns and greys the next, and just absolutely inconsistent visual storytelling. Some scenes look okay but not for a film that costs as much as this one, I think there is a stark contrast between intentionally stylized VFX and miscalculated attempts at the aforementioned. There are a couple of really nice practical costumes that basically get sidelined for weirdly clingy green screen abominations.

Okay, comic book asshole hat on now, there was no reason for this to be a half-assed Flashpoint adaptation. As a concept, Flashpoint is not so inaccessible to the general viewing public that you couldn’t just do it fully or not at all. I’m not even sure there is a solid enough reason to not just make The Flashes’ first film just him dealing with his own shit and using Jai Courtney to set up The Rogues as Captain Boomerang. I get that there is a desire to tie up loose ends from the Snyderverse and boot up a new Cinematic Universe at the same time, but it’s so messy that it muddles a really executable Comic Book movie concept.

Ultimately, I think this is where The Flash stumbles the hardest, a promising cast is let down by a film that is so deeply entrenched in the nonsense of a half-baked previous cinematic universe and trying to set one up that doesn’t even exist yet. What a waste. Then to achieve some of the ugliest looking VFX shots in the past decade, all this in a world where Marvel films exist? Truly amazing how hard they fumbled the bag on this.

My biggest hot take is that DC just fundamentally doesn’t get who Barry Allen is. Ezra is great but they play Barry so much closer to how a live-action Wally West Flash, to the point where I don’t get why they gave them Barry at all.

But by far the most filthy thing the film does is a parade of CGI ghouls in a startlingly bad multiversal moment right at the climax of the film. Dragging out the rubbery digital corpses of Adam West and Christopher Reeves is truly abominable and looks so bad, having a weird plasticine Nic Cage Superman when I know he’s the kind of actor who would have been there in a heartbeat to shoot a scene is bizarre AND to leave out two very much ALIVE actors who have catapulted The Flash into mainstream fame, John Wesley Shipp and Grant Gustin, the latter of which just ended a prolific tenure as Barry Allen this past year is unforgivable. Especially when the TV Flash found room for a fun Ezra Miller cameo, to completely ice out Gustin is really awful. But I guess par for the course for a film studio that, is currently actively ignoring fair working conditions for writers and actors, just vaulted a completed Batgirl project starring Brendan Fraser, and has a history of hiring abusers to create projects for them.

What a shame, there’s something special deep in the shit here, something that the audience has been robbed of. Some really fun and inventive moments on display, marred by a deep desire for people to remember Batman exists and used to be fun too. What a waste of everyone’s time and talent.

To be fair, the Looney Tunes moments with young Barry are so joyful and fun that we really just needed the whole film to feel like that.

We’re getting ready for the final battle this episode

I feel like not a lot happened this episode it was more of a set up for the big fight we’re going to see next episode.

Tomar-Tu is so cute! It’s so sad that Tomar-Re had a son he never got to say good bye because he died a hero. Also, I’m not really familiar with the Green Lantern comics, but I find it really cool that a father and son are a part of the Green Lantern corps. I just find it interesting. First Razer now the this, I really need to read/watch up on them.

Why can Lor- Zod just ask for information? Like again I’m not really familiar with Green Lantern comic lore but that just seems odd that you can just visit the prison without further questions other than if you have a record.

Ok so M’gann found out, and like I thought she jumped at the possibility that Conner was alive. I’m kinda worried about the fall out.

I slightly think that that will be the time the reveal the fake Wally dream thing to Artemis which will be dramatic but then again there’s not enough time to complete it in this season so next season (that will (probably) have a time skip) would be too long but that adds more drama.

Poor Danny! I was wondering who was in that box. It’s so sad that not only was he trafficked but experimented on.

Danny saying that it hurts to use his abilities as a living machine but says he can handle it because he wants to help the people who are helping him just almost makes me want to cry.

I was like he better not die or I’m going to cry.

M’comm…

I swear to god if you killed that boy and not like knocked him out I’m going to be so mad.

I like that they brought back J’emm and that he’s helping because he feels in dented to Conner (and probably M’gann too). I wonder if M’gann and J’emm are going to team up and take down M’comm. Either way I feel like M’comm is going to be taken down before the season ends. I don’t know how but it feels like he’s going to be defeated.

Also they brought back Orion too. This will be interesting because he’s Darkseid’s biological son which will be an interesting interaction with his minions.

Also, am I the only one getting the vibes that Orion has a thing for Rocket. The whole Rocket would be good for this. It’s either that or he feels more comfortable with someone he knows. It could go either way honestly.

The flashes of memories from the first season just made my heart swell. I have to rewatch soon!

Ok so I feel like there wasn’t a lot that actually happened so my predictions!

I feel like the bad guys are going to be defeated but something is going to happen to Superman because of the Red Sun because it’s kinda odd that they brought him along unless they were thinking he could broker a truce being Kryptonian. Also the whole I killed Superman thing Conner got going on.

Like I said before M’comm will probably be defeated.

I also feel like something is going to happen to Bart. Not necessarily him dying (I hope) but like some change.

Also I feel like the whole Wally being in the Phantom Zone theory has become even more of a possibility to me because

The team and Wally both appear the same way as the Kryptonians and Phantom girl and if Conner thought he was died like I’ve seen people mention then he would still look normal because Superman looked normal in the Conner killing Superman hallucinations

And the whole opening a portal that ANYONE can get through on both sides is an odd choice because they could have always written if a different way so there was no chance of anyone else getting out besides Conner and General Zod and Ursa

I just had a horrible thought

What if Bart runs into the portal taking Lor Zod with him?

My poor heart

Anyways what I’ve noticed is that every arc this season has been in a way brought back BESIDES Artemis’s and Zatanna’s

You got J’emm and in a way, the legion and Superman from M’gann and Conner’s. You got Orion and Danny from Rocket’s. You got Aquaman back as Aquaman from Kaldur’s. All for the final battle.

If you want you can also consider that this whole thing is happening because of Zatanna and her arc because of the Conner bus vision and the help from Doctor Fate and the magic from her arc.

So I wonder how Artemis’s arc is going to play into this because there has to be a connection.

Hi! Since I saw the illustrator wally series I've been exited to request this, it was also sad to see how nobody has yet come with this idea or at least I haven't seen anyone else bring this up so here I come!

It will be interesting how It would work a relationship between Human wally and reader who has maladaptive daydreaming along with autism, I thought of how would it be to meet someone who has to experience something familiar with you. ( since maladaptive daydreaming can be described as a variant of schizophrenia with some small differences ) anyways, I'm a desperate for representation-

ET TU, BRUTE? Omg I maladaptive daydream too (if I am reading it right and you mean to say that you do IT-). My therapist says that I am like, addicted to it lol. My family counselor also likened my case more towards depersonalization/dissociation/a variant of DID due to me only daydreaming myself as other people. This is actually the first time I have heard of it being described as a variant of schizophrenia, but it actually makes a lot of sense, now that I think about it! I need more representation too, so let's do this! I'll try to make it as broad as possible, because everyone daydreams about different things!

🖍️What do they consist of? Are they horror? Romance? Action? Comedy? He wishes to know. Are you in them? Do you play someone else? Is it from a third person perspective, watching over your creations? If it is something child friendly, maybe you can write a book and he can illustrate it!

🖍️ Even if it is something more... dark, disturbing, overall NOT a kid friendly topic... he would still want to draw it! Maybe he can start to expand his illustrations into more adult books. He is shockingly good at drawing horror, you know. Some of his vent art is a really disturbing treat to view.

🖍️ You might get onto the topic of how both of your conditions are similar and different. You have a lot of characters floating around in your head. Different worlds, stories, everything! Wally does have, in a way, characters, too! The little voices in his head count, right? Sometimes the same one will pop up every now and again. Both of your conditions seem, in a way, uncontrolled. Due to Wally preferring to not use medications, he simply lives with the voices and hallucinations, going to therapy to help him cope and learn to live with it. You just go with the flow, in a way. As far as you've heard, the best and only way to help deal with it is therapy. No real medication or anything.

🖍️ You both are finally happy to find someone similar to yourselves. The best part is that it is similar enough to be familiar, but different enough to have such interesting conversations!

H: "...Hey, aren't you that one animator I keep hearing about?"

A: "Eh? Oh yeah, probably. Man, must be keepin' a real reputation 'round here if I'm talked about that often. Maybe people here are finally startin' to want to be friends with me!"

H: "Heh.. Mr. Hudson, right? Least that's what I've heard them call you."

A: "Hm? Oh, yep! Thats me. Andrew Hudson! Man, I've got such a badass name, don't I? Could name a character after me with how cool it sounds."

H: "Andrew Hudson.. Andrew.. this— this might be a bit of a stretch, but did you by chance go to that one Orphanage downtown? The one in Brooklyn, that is."

A: "...yes. Why? My name sound familiar or somethin'?"

H: "Oh my.. Andrew, it's me, Henry."

A: "Hen— Oh my— Henry! Henry! Oh my god! It's great to see you again, man, how have ya been!?"

H: "Heheh, I'm okay— I'm okay. I guess I landed a good spot in a workplace if it meant meeting you again."

A: "Hell yeah you did! Last time I saw you, you were 15! Mighty mighty, time flies fast! Did the whole gettin' adopted situation go well for ya?"

H: "Oh, yes— I found myself with a lovely caretaker, a lovely mother. For the first time in a while, with her, I finally felt whole again. Like I was getting to experience the childhood I wasn't able to."

A: "Hell yeah, man, that's great! Guess your whole artistic thing did get ya somewhere after all, if ya ended up with the one and only Joey Drew."

H: "Oh, yeah.. I guess it did... how did it go for you? Did you ever get adopted?"

A: "...nah. Not that i care though, if I'm here with ya, not gettin' a family doesn't mean nothin' to me. I'm just happy to see your doin' alright, man."

H: "Oh.. well, I'm sorry about that."

A: "Nah, man, it's fine! I don't need a family anyway."

H: "Huh? But.."

A: "Anyway, maybe we can get dinner sometime and catch up on the weekend sometime! I'd love to hear about ya some more. In the mean time, I'll have to be gettin' back to my work so.. toodles for now, man!"

H: "Oh, uh, bye.. then.."

[IT GOES SILENT FOR 30 SECONDS.]

H: "That was weird.. he isn't the type to leave so quickly.. on well, people change, Henry. It's best to get back to your drawings, someone has to keep your old pal happy."

A: "Huh? Is this someone's tape?.. And why is it near Wallys closet?"

i forgot how genuinely charming the idea of having a whole bunch of friends was for the first time in XY. I know BW kinda already laid the ground work for this with Bel and Cheren, but that felt so one sided --Cheren was the "real" rival, and Bel was just this sad side story that happened to involve battling her a few times.

But the idea of the kids here all having their own gimmicks for coming along on the adventure with you had a lot of potential to not just be a fun cast of characters, but a really smart way to show off more of the game's features:

the battle rival to maintain battle challenge

the pokedex rival not only to check your count but to issue little challenges/quests to have a certain amount of evolutions, or certain types or from a certain route/dungeon

and the "dance" rival to show off new moves, how they work, and how they might synergize with other moves, or abilities, etc... Especially good for younger players who might be less prone to experimenting with move sets.

and then I guess re needs to be someone around to have some kind of sad story... (the Wally, the Bel, the Hop, the Arven...)

It's actually a real shame that Scarlet/Violet didn't take the opportunity to really double down on the fun friend group dynamic and actually make more of your classmates more interactive. For having the perfect excuse to have a sort of Persona or Fire Emblem style VN-lite sort of structure where you just kinda check in 3 or 5 times and update their stories that way, but for your whole class. (I guess they actually sort of did that but with teh teachers) Technically the Galar league was also a great excuse to have more rivals yet we really just had the three.

Actually I guess even before that, Alola's trials and champion challenger feature was maybe the first great excuse for this sort of thing: you could have had a whole generation of kids coming of age thru their trials at the same time and then culminate in them challenging you for the championship instead of the random NPCs

Au 1: Poké Night Funkin

Right, as promised, I’ll tell you what Au this is. It’s the Friday Night Funkin or FNF Au, the reason why I decided to do this is because well, no one has done it and makes me very sad 😞. The Au name is called Poké Night Funkin. In this Au, Wally takes Boyfriend’s role while Lisia takes Girlfriend’s role. At this point, they’re not dating prior, but they confessed their feelings to one another before they returned to their timeline after 10 years of being stuck in that timeline, but they tend to treat each other as siblings or just friends. Alright, time for Wally’s bio:

Appearance: Mostly the same as OG Wally, tho sometimes he wears a turquoise hoodie, he also has a few scratches here and there

Personality: Same as OG Wally but at times, he will be more confident and not afraid to save others or when spitting bars, even if it costs him his life (although when facing against strong opponents like Whitty or Sonic.exe, he will get scared but tries to keep a smile)

Being literally taking BF’s role, he has similar abilities:

Cognitohazard (this is briefly explained in the teaser but I’ll go more detail into it) (After training, he’s able to unlock this abilities using his Cognitohazard: Arrow World, Fast Reflexes, Echo, Going Super, Song of Healing, Song mimicry)

High Stamina (he ran from both Sonic.exe and Black on separate occasions during the songs Final Escape and Danger)

Reset (Pretty obvious what this means)

Nightmare Mode (this is the one where he is most proficient in, I’ll explain next time if you want)

Immortality

??? (This is said to be his powerful ability, even beyond Nightmare Mode, I don’t know what it is since he didn’t fill me in the details)

Equipment:

Microphone (it’s tied to a rope which is basically like Spider-Man web shooters, and is strapped around his left arm but he holds on his right)

Voice collar (This collar enables him to speak when wearing it.)

Now, a brief summary of him (most likely poorly written):

Most hardcore singers would sing or rap as if their lives are on the line, well in this Wally’s case, it’s quite literal. Being trapped in a different dimension AND being hurled across time and space against his will multiple times AND having many near death experiences and at the same time, having to spit bars, to Wally, the incidents which the dex holders have to face would be a normal Friday night to him. While his adventures are risky or so, he has made many friends and even more enemies throughout his decade of disappearance. Now back in his timeline, he can ‘retire’ from being a rapper and start his dream as a Pokémon trainer, however, since familiar foes have arrived in his timeline after more than a decade to kill him, he has decided to pick up the mic once again, oh and with Lisia cheering him. Now strap in, cuz it’s time to get freaky on a Friday night once again with the duo!

This is again, really long but I don’t exactly know how to write it but it’s the best I can, if you guys want to draw fanart or ask questions or write stories, I’ll allow you. Also, We’ll be covering this Wally Au first, but don’t worry, I’ll explain the other Aus as well. And sorry if this Wally deviates from canon, it’s an Au. Also, if you feel like he’s a bit overpowered, yes he is, he’s considered to be the stronger faction in the Wally Aus, I checked in with one of the other Wallys

Oh! I forgot to mention one thing, while this Wally seems pretty powerful, he was drastically weakened due to an incident when traveloijng back to his timeline so he’s right now, he’s nothing but a former shell of himself.
