This once was a lush green land filled with diversity and life. A great river flowed through the land, animals lived in the forests and fields, and a human village had begun to grow into a bustling town. Six clowders of cats lived here, with a code of honour and traditions that kept them united. A great evil that had threatened the clowder’s way of life had been defeated, and life would continue. Or so they thought. One final trick, those who remain will tell you. A final curse that now dictates every aspect of a cat’s life.

The six great clowders of the past are long gone. The land they once thrived in has been choked of its life, transformed into a barren wasteland. Resources are scarce, conflicts are common, and the curse that killed the land remains strong.

Yet even still, life finds away. Animals and plants can be found in the wastes if one knows where to look, and two factions have risen from the ashes of the clowder’s demise.

The closed-off and protective Kingdom, and the divided yet ever so connected Outlanders.

Will you make a change, or is your life destined to blow away with the dust?

Cats of the Waste is a semi-lit, warriors inspired rp with completely new lore. Explore the wasteland, play as cats who have evolved for the harsh life in the wastes, and battle for survival in this brand new setting.

What kind of cat is Herman Hermann, and which faction does he belong to?

Okay so I'll be honest I forgot about him lmao

You reminded me :D

This is Herman's design. He belongs to the Quimby Faction(which, if you haven't noticed, most people belong to because the other three are low key picky)!

He hasn't really talked about how his leg got amputated. All that's known in that a human found him on the side of the road right outside of Springfield. Some say it was a car, some say dogs.

He was taken in by the human, but he was never really considered himself a pet. Just a roaming cat who happened to have a place to eat and occasionally sleep. The humans dieing off didn't really affect him much. He also didn't see why it affected some of the others. If he catches a cat being upset he tells them to quit the crying and toughen up.

He hates kids, human or not. Can't stand them. He had a tendency to scratch any human child that dared try and pick him up.

That's all my pea sized brain can think of atm, so if I left anything out I'll probably reblog with extra info! Thanks for the question :) Feel free to send in more

i'll never say this publicly but honestly i think tigerstar had some valid ideas about having one big clan. obviously he was super wrong with all the violence and force, but one big clan could solve a lot of issues. No more border patrol fighting, more food for everyone during leaf-bare season, no drama involving cross-clan mates, etc etc. a lot of deaths could be avoided if we all took care of one another instead of fighting all the time

That's not what they meant and you KNOW it. They brought up some valid points about preserving lives, and denounced Tigerstar's actions as much too violent. Starclan above, no cat can have an opinion these days...

Honestly I don't know how I feel about this... each Clan is beautifully unique and has their own traditions, which would fade away if Clans were desolved altogether. But OP makes a valid point about less violence and food scarcity. I hate the idea of sending my kits off to become Warriors, only for them to die during a stupid argument about Sunningrocks. A pile of rocks is NEVER worth a cat's life, whether they are in your Clan or not. And we have lost lives like that before.

I agree! Traditions are important, but every medicine cat knows that working together saves lives. Sharing herbs can stop the spread of greencough, and sharing prey stops kits from crying from hunger. We really need a better system, because I can't cry myself to sleep another night, blaming myself for not having enough cobwebs to stop a kit from bleeding out in front of me.

Meet the self-exiled Zoroark warrior, Spiritfang . After finding a strange baby Pokémon, Spiritfang took it upon herself to take care of the baby as her own. Her clan leader saw the young one as a threat and ordered her to get rid of it. Starting to leave the young one near a human village, the Pokémon's soft cries could barely be heard over the blistering winds.

"It won't survive the night at this rate," Spiritfang muttered while watching over the small Pokemon from a safe distance.

Retrieving the baby, the Zoroark could feel how cold it already was. It broke her heart knowing that it could have frozen to death. With a low snort, Spiritfang ran away from the village, running away from her clan's territory.
