"Because I love you."
A/N - Guys I'm really into these sappy pieces recently. Pls feel free to send requests for something else if inspired. Also, I might be doing a pt.3 to Teach Me at some point, I just have to pick where the story is going.
Summary - A showdown with an unsub leaves you in the hospital. Spencer can't help but feel guilty. Could almost losing you push him to confess his love? (spoilers: yes it does)
Warnings - spencer x reader, BAU level violence, some angst on Spencer's part, fluff, and a love confession
Tumblr media
You stared down at your hands, battered and bloodied from your futile attempts to fight back. Caught off guard during an interview with a man who was only supposed to be an eye witness,  not the unsub himself, forced you to fight for your life. By the time the neighbors heard the scuffle and called the local police to come to your rescue, you figured you looked like you’d been through seven rounds of an MMA fight. Your head ached, your eye was swollen shut, and you nearly cried in agony with every breath as you were certain you’d broken a rib.
After a tense standoff with the local police, the unsub was in custody, leaving you on the floor with your many wounds. You managed to stand yourself up and walk out the door to the waiting ambulance, only to collapse into the EMT’s arms. You felt yourself being loaded in the back of the vehicle as they started an IV. As consciousness drifted away from you, you couldn’t help but wonder where your team was.
***
You awoke in the hospital to the steady sound of your heart monitor beeping and muffled conversation from outside your room. Your bloodied clothes had been traded in for a hospital gown at some point, and your midsection was bound tightly with some sort of bandages, you assumed to keep your rib in place. You managed to open your good eye in an attempt to find the source of those muffled voices. Your eyes landed on Emily and JJ speaking in the corner of the room, voices hushed.
“He can’t blame himself. None of us saw this coming,” Emily said, her voice stern but laced with concern.
JJ shook her head. “He feels terrible, Emily. I’ve seen him come in and out of here crying three times in the last two hours. He rarely cries.”
Who could they be talking about?
Emily looked at the floor in silence, trying to formulate a reply. JJ cleared her voice to speak again. “They’re partners, Emily,” JJ said, “Of course he’s going to blame himself.”
Spencer.
Deciding you’d had enough of eavesdropping, you did your best to sit up, only to let out a whimper when a sharp pain pierced your side. JJ and Emily turned to face you, surprised looks on both their faces.
“Hey, just lay back,” JJ encouraged. She rushed to the bedside, placing a soothing hand on your arm.
“How long have I been asleep?” you asked.
Emily shook her head, “Only twelve hours, which isn’t very much considering what you’ve been through. I’ll tell the doctors you need another IV and some pain medication.”
As she turned for the door, you shook your head, “Emily, wait.”
Emily turned to face you, coming to stand at the foot of your bed. “What is it?”
“Where’s Spencer?” you asked. Emily looked to JJ, the two of them sharing a knowing glance. You and Spencer had always been close, as partners and friends.
“He’s been going back and forth between pacing the parking lot and the lobby for hours. I can’t imagine how many steps he’s taken,” Emily joked. “I’ll go get him for you.” With that, she turned and left the room, leaving you and JJ to catch up on what you’d missed in the last few hours.
JJ explained what happened after you’d passed out: how the unsub was in custody, finding another victim in his basement, and the team realizing that they’d sent you out to interview the lunatic on your own. “We just thought he was going to give you some information about the case. We had no reason to think that he was the one who-”
You shook your head, holding up a hand to stop her. “I didn’t think so either. It’s why I agreed to go alone. Nobody’s at fault.”
JJ nodded, a solemn look on her face. “I’m just so glad you’re okay. We were all so worried once we connected the dots. I was telling Emily - I haven’t seen Spencer so stressed in years.”
As if on cue, both you and JJ turned to the sound of rushed footsteps coming down the hallway. Spencer’s tall frame was running (no, sprinting) down the hospital corridor. You felt a small smile tug at the corner of your lips as he burst into the room, hair danging in front of his eyes and clearly out of breath.
He approached your bedside, leaning down so he could be face-to-face with you. You could only see him with one good eye, but you did your best to smile to show him that you were doing alright. You brought a hand to his face, pushing the fallen strands of hair out of his eyes so you could see him more clearly. “Hello to you too,” you joked.
“Y/N-” Spencer started, the tears quickly gathering in his eyes, “I’m so sorry. I should’ve gone with you. I should have known that-”
“That the guy who called into the tipline was actually the unsub? Spencer, be logical. None of us knew. I was just telling JJ, nobody is at fault.”
A single tear fell down his cheek as he examined your injuries. With each scratch and bruise he found, he felt another crack forming in his heart. He hadn’t protected you. Wasn’t that what he was supposed to do? He was your partner. Your best friend. He loved you, that he knew. He’d forced that love to be as platonic as he could make it, trying to avoid ruining your perfect friendship. It was moments like this that made that more difficult than ever, as he tried to reckon with his love and his guilt.
Your bruised hand was still cradling his face. He could feel the bandages against his stubble, and he cursed himself again. It was only then that the other presence in the room became known to him. JJ stood on the other side of the bed, another knowing smile gently painting her lips. Spencer knew what he had to do. JJ knew what Spencer had to do. He looked at her, his eyes subtly asking her to leave the two of you alone. JJ took the hint with a small nod, leaving the room without another word as you and Spencer continued to examine each other.
“So, JJ’s filled me in on what I missed,” I said, breaking the silence. “Sounds like a pretty exciting half day,” I joked.
Spencer shook his head, pulling away from your hand. He didn’t go far, though, intertwining his own with yours as he leaned back from the bed. “I was worried sick,” he said.
“I can tell, Spence,” you said, trying to prop yourself up with your pillow. “You really shouldn’t have been. You know I always come out of these things relatively unscathed.” He raised an eyebrow at your statement, taking in your swollen and bruised features. “Well… maybe not unscathed. Alive, at least,” you quipped.
An eerie silence fell over the room. You could feel the tension increase as the gears turned in his head.
“But what if you don’t someday?” he whispered, his voice far away. You looked over at him, his eyes fixed on your heart monitor and the gentle green lines rising and falling accompanied by the signature beep-beep-beeping.
You squeezed his hand in an attempt to bring him back down to Earth. “I’ll always come back, Spencer. It’s what you and I do. We come back alive for each other.”
The tears that had pooled in his eyes earlier spilled over his cheeks as he let out a small whimper. He leaned down, gently wrapping his arms around you as he wept. “Hey, it’s okay Spencer,” you tried to calm him.
“No, it’s not. It-it’s not because,” he trailed off. You could still feel his shoulders shaking as he cried.
“Why, Spencer?” you asked once more. “Please, you can tell me anything.”
Suddenly his sobs slowed. He pulled back from your embrace, taking in your features. Bruised and battered as you were, you were the most beautiful person he’d ever seen. He felt like his heart was going to explode. Before his brain could catch up with his mouth, the words came tumbling out. “Because I love you,” he said simply.
Your jaw dropped open at his words. While you should’ve seen this coming, nothing could prepare you for the way your heart jumped. If it wasn’t evident from the expression on your face, the heart monitor picked up its beeping, nearly doubling its pace. The sound wasn’t lost on Spencer, who frantically looked at the screen.
“Oh no,” he mumbled, quickly walking to the monitor. “Did I upset you? I’m so sorry, Y/N. I’ve just felt this way for so long and if I keep pretending like I don’t-”
“Spencer,” you cut him off, his eyes meeting yours for the first time in minutes. “I love you too.”
The look on his face was priceless, and you wished you could have taken a picture, but you did your best to engrave it on your brain forever. His brown, teary eyes brightened in a moment, a glimmer of hope shining from within. “You do?” he asked.
You laughed, allowing your head to fall back on the pillow behind you. “Spencer, I volunteer to work with you during nearly every case. We split a room every week. I only wished that you’d said this sooner so we could’ve split the bed, too.”
He stared at you in shock. The tears in his eyes long forgotten as a smile crept on his face.
A soft laugh left his mouth as he leaned down to you once more, placing a soft kiss on your forehead, careful to avoid any injured area. “Well, I promise that next time we can,” he said. “And,” he started once more, “I’m never letting you go anywhere by yourself again.”
You smiled up at him, running your fingers over his own. “I wouldn’t have it any other way.”

Writing challenge idea 🙂
Georgia Stanway “fake dating” like a holidate idea for a wedding - like the anyone but you movie trope if that makes sense! 🙂🙂🙂
georgia stanway
“and you looked over everything i sent you?” you stressed, clutching tightly onto the girls hand who rolled her eyes. “yes! i do know how to be a girlfriend ya know? ive done it once or twice.” georgia teased which did nothing to ease your nerves.
“i know, but have you ever been a fake girlfriend?” you challenged as she pulled a face unable to argue with you. “why is this so important to ya anyway?” she asked as the uber neared the venue and you sighed.
“its not, its just been years of the teasing and the questions and the jokes about everyone else having a partner but me. really makes these events quite insufferable!” you admitted as georgia smiled sympathetically.
"i'm sorry." the english girl squeezed your knee with her free hand as a beat of silence passed.
“so you remember how we met?” you quizzed her, snapping back out of it as georgia recounted the story like clockwork and you nodded, the uber pulling up outside the venue where your cousins engagement party was being held.
you thanked the driver and jumped out of the car as georgia followed, taking your hand again as the two of you made your way toward the entrance. "if you don't know how to answer a question just pretend you don't speak any german." you paused and warned her.
"i don't speak very much german." georgia reminded with an amused smile, trying to calm your obvious nerves. "oh right. perfect! keep it that way." you squeezed her hand and took a deep breath, entering the venue as within seconds there was family members swarming you.
georgia sent you a pleading look as you smiled apologetically, the poor girl whisked away by a few of your cousins for interrogation no doubt as your grandmother tugged you aside for a talk.
you were on edge and getting more nervous by the second as it seemed you and georgia were destined to be apart, the english girl paraded around meeting all your extended family and friends by your sister who was the only family member you'd keyed into your plan, trusting her with your life.
"well well well, that would not be stanway over there pretending to be your girlfriend now would it?" your blood ran cold at the familiar voice, hands settling on your shoulders as you sighed in defeat. "what are you doing here? i thought you couldn't make it." you groaned as laura took a seat beside you with a smirk.
"hey! is that anyway to greet your favourite cousin now schnecke?" the blonde teased, the childhood nickname falling off her tongue as you shot her a glare. "please don't tell anyone." you pleaded, hating how you needed to stoop to her level.
"what do i get out of this?" the footballer grinned as you shook your head, you should have known better than to assume this would happen without bribery. "what do you want lau?" you asked with an annoyed frown.
"mmm you let me score next time you play us." the girl grinned as you scoffed, not even going to entertain her request as a loyal bayern player. "no you are right. that will happen anyway because i have always been a better striker than you are a defender!" laura waved it off as you rolled your eyes.
"i want three packets of balla stix and you room with me next national camp." laura demanded as you eagerly agreed, shaking her hand as she stood. "pleasure doing business kid." she smacked your cheek three times with her hand doing a terrible mobster accent and sauntered off.
"was that laura?" you jumped as georgia dropped down into the seat she'd previously occupied, eyes wide with nerves you'd both been caught out. "its sorted, don't worry. are you okay? my family can be...a lot." you bit your lip guiltily.
"i'm a bit worried your aunties going to try and steal my identity. was just waitin for her to ask for me bank details!" georgia shook her head clicking her tongue as you smiled, nerves easing.
finally left alone the two of you fell into conversation, georgias hand resting on your knee as she scooted her chair closer to be able to hear you over the music, the two of you laughing and messing about like normal.
"we've got an audience." the girl whispered in your ear as you turned your head and jumped seeing your grandmother stood right there. she made a comment in german causing your cheeks to heat up as georgia watched on dumbfounded as the older woman pinched your cheek and walked off again.
"what did she say?" georgia asked with a frown. "she said she hopes you are a better footballer than you are a liar." you sighed with a small smile, you should have known that of all people the hardest to fool would have been her.
"hey i thought i was doin well!" georgia protested with a huff as you laughed, catching the watching eyes of a few more of your cousins from another table. "you are, trust me. best fake girlfriend i've ever had!" you teased, kissing her cheek with a grin.
"well in that case. how about you let me take ya on a real date?" you were taken aback by her question, the midfielders cheeks blushed bright red as she bounced her knee nervously.
"really?" "really."
"yeah, i'd like that." you both exchanged a shy smile, laura appearing again and pulling you both up to dance.

Okay so hear me out. This randomly popped into my head and won't leave so I just HAVE to write it before I DO forget it
Mo'at was bothered. Very bothered. None of the clan knew why,Kiri didn't know and that was unusual. Kiri has a knack for knowing things that she shouldn't, wasn't told or just before it happened. Yet not even this little blessing from Eywa knew why her grandmother seemed so upset and on edge recently. Many assumed she was simply mourning Eytukan, her mate and precious Ole'ektan. the anniversary of his death was very soon,it as always hurt her severely to remember the pain of that day. She lost her home but worse her mate...felt his pain....felt his breathing slow....felt his heart stop. She had broken down halfway away from Hometree's remains with a broken and broken hearted scream that day. Mo'at knew what they were assuming her strangeness was,yet as much as it was painful time, that was not it. The problem is that Spider, the young human child left behind, had yet to come visit the clan or Kiri in almost a week now. It was a concerning thing for her as the boy was rarely away from the clan or Kiri, the others came but the boy was not ever with them. The first two days wasn't bad, perhaps he had no mask to use,but as the days turned to a week she was concerned about the young human child. She knew she likely should not have felt as protective of the boy as if he were one of her grandchildren but she could not help it. So one day she eventually decided "To Hell With It"(She learned this from Jake) and went to Hells Gate herself to check on Spider.
When she got there she ducked down pulling a mask over her mouth and started looking for Norm,or Max, whichever was there and knew where the boy was.
"Oh. Spider's not been allowed to leave cause he got sick a bit ago"Mary,a woman Mo'at thought did not deserve the human boy as her son...the woman was...a worthless mother to him, Mo'at considered this the highest possible insult which from her it truly was and she had a good reason for this thought train. Mo'at frowned and sighed "What is he sick with?" Mary shrugged and responded "We don't know actually. Probably a Na'vi disease of some sort. not the flu but something else"Mo'at blinked slowly before it officially registered. Mary jumped back shocked and a little scared when Mo'at hissed at her.
"And you did not think to ask me!" Mo'at was a normally calm and reasonable Na'vi but this put out a mother's rage, because the idiots didn't think to as TSAHIK what type of Na'vi sickness the small human might have.
"We didn't want to bother you about him but he's in the room 231 down the hall in the med bay. It's beside the area where avatars first wake up."Mary took multiple fearful steps back and Mo'at hissed at her once more before find the room spider was in. the room was small but thankfully tall enough Mo'at could crouch like she would at the clan dinner and keep her head straight up. The worst rage, only the kind that could belong to a mother, hit her with the full force ond power of Eywa. The tiny human boy who was 6-7 at least was laying on the bed with bruises from needles all over his arms, and IV in one arm where there was already a black bruise in the crease of his elbow,he was pale and very very sick (The boy had tear streaks and red eyes,he looked at her and a sad weak smile came on his face.
"Hi Tsahik" he said in a broken, dry, and pain filled version of his usual happy go lucky voice.
"Hi little one. "She responded moving beside the bed and sat with her legs bent out to the side. She smiled gently and soothing.
"Why did you come to see me?" The poor little one asked her
"I was concerned as to why my granddaughter's favorite little human had not come to see us in a while"
"Sorry I worried you, Tsahik. when you leave in a minute tell Kiri I'm sorry to"Spider said
Mo'at watched him for a moment and took his small hand in her much larger one.
"I am not leaving little one,not until you are better and healed"
Spider watched her with a look of pure happiness in his eyes and started crying as best he could
Mo'at leaned up and hugged him softly letting him bury his small face in her neck while she cradled him gently, she felt his weak little hand clinging to her shawl.
After a while like that spider fell asleep and Mo'at sat there holding his hand. She knew most of the clan was wondering where their Tsahik was and that it wouldn't be long until her daughter or Son in law came to look for her. She didn't care though. This poor child was being put through absolute hell and pain because he was sick and his own species was stupid. Mary came in with another needle and got close to spider before Mo'at snarled at her and smacked the needle out of her hand and knocked Mary half way across the room in the process
"OUT. Or I will hurt you" Mo'at snarled through her bared fangs
Mary immediately left and told the others, they all tried but received the same thing except Nash tried and said something, whatever it was, Mo'at actually threw him across the room so hard he got a concussion. Norm decided no more needles now that he and Max knew about this. Norm poked his head in and saw Mo'at Leaning on the edge of the bed near Spider's head while he weakly watched a movie,The Looney Tunes, and gently stroking his soft blonde curls.
"Hey big guy,How's everything going?"Norm asked Gently but kept on the other side of the room. Mo'at looked up ready to snarl but stopped realizing it was Norm.
After Spider talked to Norm for a while and fell asleep,Norm started talking to Mo'at. Norm said he'd bring her healing equipment to her so she could take care of Spider and watch over him if she had to leave. It went like that for a few days, but Spider was a million times better with Mo'at taking care of him than the scientists,he was moving more, laughing, his voice was back to normal. Anyway Jake decided to go look for her since the clan hadn't seen her in a few days, when he was told he went to the room and found a surprising scene.
Mo'at was sitting with her legs to the side and bent slightly laying her head on her right arm which was bent, asleep, and her left hand laying face up with Spider's smaller one holding her three fingers. He was asleep and so was she but Jake heard about Mo'at's threats and aggression to sthe scientists that weren't Norm and Max so he left them be, wondering what that was about.

Ask Comp 19/10
Tumblr media
That's true - we don't know for sure that Trollian can fully emulate Sburb's surveillance capabilities.
If the trolls were sufficiently motivated, though, they wouldn't actually need to. Sollux could probably hack one of the kids' computers, to gain access to their Sburb viewport - although if he did, he wouldn't need a camera to snoop on their messages.
Is there a paranoia Aspect? I think I've finally found my calling.
anonymous asked: heya! ive just finished re-reading your ENtIRE liveblog and i to send asks about some stuff but i waited to finish so im sendind everything at once! (im gonna send stuff in a bunch of small asks so cat can stop just one instead of the whole thing in case of accidental spoilers) (aslo hi cat!) (also its ninnoy, havent sent an ask in a while but i changed my pfp to something slightly more spoilery so im in anon now) [...] the jade pen pal thing, do you have any new theories on who it could be?
None! I'm sure that it's someone derived from Grandpa Harley, but everything else is a mystery.
I have no particular theories about who he is, how he knows Jade, where he got his hands on so many endgame weapons, or why he's got such an antiquated accent if he's watching movies from the 80s. I assume time travel is involved, but that doesn't really narrow anything down in a comic like this. He (she? they?) is a complete enigma, and I'll just have to wait to learn more.
ALsO WHEREs YOUR sONAs? we havent seen them in so long im afraid sahlle might have actueally died of meteor strike (joking of course) also have you realized that "sally" and "cat" are both one letter of from a valid kid name? you could lend her one of your "L"s
I've actually been workshopping some Quest stuff for Sahlee this week! I suppose I'd need to figure out her Title first, though, and for that, I'd need to get a more solid idea of her personality, and how her experiences on Alternia have shaped her.
in one of your last posts you seemed to imply that the multiverse exists inside the timeline, but ive always read it as the opposite, the timeline inside the universe that would explain why the trolls can pick any time from the humans universe to talk to them but cant have private conversations with their own futute/past selves, its not an inherent part of trollian, they are just outside the human timeline (the memos are still trollian being time fucky) dont know if that makes any difference but its a thought also i realize the tag may be unecessary due to my quirk, but its too late to stop now
(NOTE: quirk omitted for readability, but the substitutions are [t -> 7, s -> 2] - sort of a variant of Sollux's quirk. I actually don't think we've seen any quirks which add a 7, so the voice here is distinct from any trolls we've seen so far. I like it!)
Originally, my assumption was that each timeline contained a duplicate of the entire multiverse. Doomed timelines don't seem to let you communicate with other universes/dimensions, though, so they don't need to contain other sectors of reality. I'm currently of the opinion that doomed timelines only contain an instance of the dimension they were doomed in. The only timeline which contains the entire multiverse is the Alpha.
This mechanic keeps doomed timelines simple, but in-universe, I don't know why it exists. Much like the Alpha itself, it's a mystery I can only speculate about.
has the shipping chart been updated since the last time we saw it? also you (at some point) said that equius<>feferi was a controversial ship so i had to go back to check the notes and i was the only person i found talkig about it so i guess im the whole controversy? if thats the case i would like to thank you for recognizing me as the equius<>feferi number 1 hater (all jokes of course)
I got a few skeptical asks about Equius<>Feferi, but you're the only one who discussed it on the post itself. I guess by some measures, you are the most dedicated hater, because your hate was posted publicly! 🤣
I could make one or two changes, but I don't want to post a new chart until the kids meet the trolls in person, hopefully at the end of the Act!
Tumblr media
The Scratch, naturally - but I'm also looking forward to seeing exactly how WV was Exiled. He's currently on Skaia, and Jack has lost interest in him, so who's actually sending him through the portal?
Tumblr media
Tavros is barely a presence on the Land he's ostensibly the hero of, and all of his actions are being dictated by a third party who can physically control his body. This third party does not acknowledge or respect Tavros's own desires, effectively forcing him to play the game in a way that she personally approves of.
She claims it will make him stronger.
@bladekindeyewear submitted: That was a long, thorough, and fantastic response! It's fascinating seeing your opinion on these things-- and I'm glad to see that considering the questions we've given you seems to have made you more paranoid. But I'm just not entirely sure you're paranoid ENOUGH. Not yet. Much like how you just found that "BREEZE" quote in your Breath research, back at around the time you've now reached in the comic, we had dozens of theory-miners combing back through everything that had been said and shown in Homestuck, over and over again, searching for anything we might have missed that might have been of some importance. [...] So, uh….. how do I put this… Would you prefer to strictly handle that sort of thing all by yourself, as you've said? Which I'd agree is still the best way that you should keep to, for the most part? Or would you mind if I gave you just a CRUMB of an example, only one? A tiny bit of text that we in the theory community only found at about the time you've reached in the comic, even though it was more than a thousand pages earlier?
Shit, this is such a dilemma. I'm honestly really torn.
See, I'd probably find old fandom theories absolutely fascinating to analyze. I'd love to know how closely my ideas align with those of the early Homestuck fandom, and whether I'm saying anything really out-of-pocket. My analysis of Sollux's ~ATH script was apparently an original theory, and it's honestly one my proudest moments.
But that's also sort of the problem, isn't it? If I dive too deeply into other people's fan theories, they'll start to affect my own - and if I'm introduced to a really compelling fan theory, it could end up replacing any homegrown theories that I could have developed in lieu of it. If someone had send me a well-reasoned ~ATH theory before I did my own analysis, I'd probably have been less motivated to make the analysis in the first place. After all, many of my questions would already have been answered by a clever theory I just read.
People are free to send me their own off-the-cuff opinions on what's happening in the comic, or their own takes on any meta I write. I get a lot of asks like that, and they're some of my favorites. There are also asks which spoil a little too much, but I'm still interested in their takes, so Cat's saving them for later. We don't really delete asks - we just delay the ones that aren't necessarily appropriate for a blind liveblog.
Obviously there's a fine line here, and whether a given ask is a theory or just an opinion is a little subjective - but in my opinion, the influence that asks and submissions have had on my analysis has been relatively minor. I don't think many of my theories have been spawned from an ask, or killed by one.
This is a little different, though, because it's part of a theory that was crowdsourced over several years. It doesn't sound like something that could be inferred by an individual, so I'm not sure if it's something an individual liveblogger should necessarily know about? If I start crowdsourcing my analysis, my theories will be less Wertsearch and more fandom consensus, and I don't think I'd enjoy that as much.
I really want to know, but I think I'll enjoy the liveblog more if I don't. When I finish the comic, I'll gleefully analyze any fan theory that anyone sends me - but for now, I'll just have to wonder, and come up with theories of my own!
Tumblr media
Yeah, we've really been getting into it with Vriska lately. I've enjoyed trying to explain and predict her actions, and I'm glad people don't think I'm going overboard when trying to analyze her.
When a character does something interesting, I don't like to move on until I have a theory about why they did it. Sure, it may be refuted later, but it needs to be something that's consistent with what I currently know about their personality.
Vriska takes a particularly long time to puzzle out in this way. Her motivations are derived from a complex web (lol) of factors, including Scratch, Spidermom, her rivalry with Terezi, her horrendous relationship with Tavros, classism, teenage hormones, quadrant politics, highblood society and the Alternian culture of violence. They all inform her decisions, and any combination of them could have been the catalyst for the latest Vriska Incident.
I want characters to make sense to me, and Vriska is written to deliberately challenge my attempt to achieve this. Her meta is fun to write, so I'm glad it's also fun to read!

•°. *࿐ cherries jubiles - profiles
Tumblr media
pretty girls inc. ⪩⪨ smau masterlist
Tumblr media Tumblr media
⪩⪨ cherries jubiles - the bakery you inherited from your grandmother! thanks to your baking skills, it has become famous and highly praised, even by kpop idols!
⪩⪨ y/n - you! the hidden owner of cherries jubiles and a huge jungkook and jay stan. you insist that you're normal about them but only people who know how deranged you are and your true identity are your friends (for now).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
⪩⪨ haerin - your sister cousin! member of the group newjeans. haerin is essentially your little sister and she views you as a parental figure of sorts (though she would never admit it). she likes to help out around the bakery when she can even if it means wearing a mask and cap on all the time. absolutely loves your baking and has got the whole hybe building (especially a certain enhypen member) hooked on your desserts!
⪩⪨ hanni - your self proclaimed best friend! member of the group newjeans. haerin introduced you to hanni (and the other newjeans girls) prior to their debut. you and hanni became fast friends, and she's one of the few non-employees who know that you're the owner of cherries jubiles. she's very supportive of you (and your delusions).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
⪩⪨ beomgyu - the only man that isn't jungkook or jay that you can tolerate! an employee at your bakery thanks to being childhood friends with you and haerin. even more deranged than you (which is saying a lot), but he brings in a lot of customers due to his looks so you make sure to always put him in the front of the store. he's also the best with dealing with crazy customers (by being more crazy).

Hi! I love your blog and your opinions so i've been thinking about some stuff. I don't know if you received this already and i'm sorry if you did. Ive been reading some fics, post BD canon, and thought about some stufff. Especially about nessie/jacob. I have no ideia how this will play out. Do you think the cullens will have to leave the town by the time nessie reach maturity? i think so, considering theyve been there for 8 years and carlisle will have to be what, 33?
If so, what will happen to jacob? he will tag along with nessie, of course, but what about his alpha duties? he will be far from his family for the next 80 years? that sounds so fucked up. i simply cannot imagine how stephanie thinks this is a good thing. nessie cant have children once she reaches maturity (even tho i DOUBT smeyer will leave her without children) so her child will have to turn into a vampire later? she wouldnt make ness/jacob lose their child. or shell make ness pregnant before she turns seven?
Anyways, another question: how do you think Edward (and bella and the cullens) will react to jacob/ness wedding and pregnancy? Some fics show edward pissed the fuck off but some hes just okay, having accepted the fate (he had 7 years to get over it). Also, i'm pretty sure he'll flip on jacob if they have sex before marriage and the thought of nessie being married at 7 years old terrifies me. i doubt they'd wait until marriage, tho. they are young and non mormon i mean, i'm sure smeyer will make them wait for marriage and have renesmee married AND knocked up before she reaches full maturity. but realistically, they wouldnt wait till marriage and i hope they wait long before marrying. what are your thoughts? how would edward, especially, react to marriage/pregnancy and pre marital sex? sorry for the long ask. i've been spiriling around twilight after some years hehe
The whole thing is just such a nightmare that I have to hope she "did not think it through" because the idea that she DID think it through and thought "yes this is great!" is even worse.
She HAS said that "the lovely thing about Jacob and Nessie relationship is that as long as he keeps phasing, he won't age." Which implies to me that a) she does intend for them to be a romantic couple in the future and b) she does intend for them both to be immortal.
The full maturity at 7 years feels so much like a "ugh I don't want to have to wait to write about her as a grown up so let's just skip ahead" sort of cheat to me, but again . . . did she think that through? The logic I've seen some fans apply is basically like, well different species reach maturity at different ages. A cat is an adult after about one year, while we think of humans becoming adults at around 18 years. Renesmee's not human, she's a hybrid and for her species adulthood is reached in 7 years so there's nothing 'bad' about it. But like . .. the optics? Terrible. And she's only been alive/on earth for seven years. She's only had seven years of life experience. That's . . . that's REALLY uncomfortable to think about. Physically she might be an adult, maybe even mentally in terms of brain development, but emotionally? Socially? Especially compared to Jacob's 20+ years of life experience at that point.
And given SM's questionable relationship with science and biology, I honestly kind of expect that she'll let Renesmee have children even after the seven years. I think that's the reason that female hybrids aren't venomous. That she's set THAT up to be like "oh they're not venomous . . . so they can get pregnant!" and Renesmee will be fertile until her eggs run out. But that's assuming that her reproductive system is anything like a human's and SM could fully just be like "oh it's not!!! she is fertile every 7 years and will always have twins" or whatever she invents (I think they will have twins because twins run in Jacob's family and while that's Not How That Works it seems like a set-up for super-amazing wolfpire hybrid twins who save the world).
In canon, Edward and Bella will probably be fine with it? SM sees this as a happy ending for Jacob (he gets his predestined soulmate) and a happy ending for Bella (she gets to keep her best friend around forever . . . as a son-in-law???) so I don't think she'll have them feel anything but normal parental feelings about seeing their little girl grow up and get married. She'll write something about Edward seeing the love in Jacob and Renesmee's minds and while Bella might be lowkey a little jealous she'll tell herself she's happy for them blah blah blah.
The headcanons of Renesmee rebelling or becoming evil or breaking the imprint are probably all more REALISTIC to what someone growing up in that nightmare of a situation would do, but I don't think that's what SM is imagining here at all. I think it will be about a girl who doesn't feel like she fits in, oh woe is me, a lonely hybrid. Nahuel will come back and there will be a love triangle with him and Jacob, because Nahuel is like her and understands, is the only male of her species and she's the only female who isn't his sister. But in the end she picks Jacob because "he's always been there for me . . . since the moment I was born" (BLECH) and they'll have amazing twins with powers that will somehow be able to stop the Volturi when they come back.
And yeah Jacob will be stuck living with the Cullens, or at least with Nessie, for the rest of forever. Maybe once Nessie's an adult they'll travel independently, but they are immortal and don't age, they can't stay in one place forever. Maaaaaybe in La Push if everyone's in on the secret, but canonically not everyone is. And how IS he supposed to be a good leader for his community if his #1 priority is being whatever Nessie, a half-vampire, needs? It's a huge conflict of interest and super unfair to him.

a/n: just kisses, flirting, and some in-character swearing <3
Tumblr media
“You know what? Fuck this.”
Natalie resisted the urge to flip off her teammate as she spoke, resorting to turning and walking down the other end of the courtyard. She’d always known Taissa was the kind of girl who would do anything to get what she wanted. She’d even been known to convince teachers to raise her grade by a few marks. But freezing out a teammate? A freshman? It was a new low, and she wasn’t about to stoop to Taissa’s level.
She knew full well that the others, being the timid sheep they were, would probably agree, no matter how begrudgingly. That’s why she couldn’t help but be startled as a girl suddenly appeared next to her, offering a small smile.
“Hi.”
“Lottie. Hey.” She struggled to hide the surprise in her voice. “Shouldn’t you be figuring out how to freeze Allie out?” She asked coolly.
Lottie shifted uncomfortably, falling into step beside her.
“Well- no, you’re right. I don’t want to. But you know Taissa, none of us could convince her otherwise even if we tried. Well- maybe Van could, but I don’t think Tai would want us to tell her.”
Natalie rolled her eyes, but smiled gently at the mention of Van.
“Those two are-”
“Totally dating?” Lottie finished, a slight twinkle in her eye as she glanced at Natalie. The blonde girl laughed a little, and nodded her agreement.
“Yeah.”
A silence fell over the two as they walked together. The differences between them stood out sorely, and if they weren’t wearing the same soccer uniform, anyone would assume they didn’t know each other.
Lottie loomed over Natalie, and carried herself with the reluctant elegance of a girl born into a more privileged lifestyle than Natalie, to say the least. Natalie was much shorter, hair dyed a messy blond and smelling faintly of some sort of alcohol, as she often did.
Lottie noticed this, and decided to break the silence.
“Drinking again?”
“Mind your own business.” Natalie retorted instinctively, but softened a little as she saw Lottie flinch.
“No, I’m kidding- yeah, my friend snuck in a bottle. Why, you want me to get you some too?”
Lottie wrinkled her nose at the thought, which made Natalie laugh.
“Nah, don’t worry. I know you don’t like that kinda stuff.”
As the two approached the soccer field, Lottie paused next to the bleachers, causing Natalie to halt too, offering a curious look and a slight tilt of the head.
“So… if you know I don’t like that stuff, do you know what I do like?” She smirked a little as she spoke, leaning against the wall beside her. Natalie glanced nervously towards the field, torn between what to do.
“Lot, maybe here isn’t the best time, someone could see-”
She shut up quickly at the brunette’s pout, which seemed to be one of her few weaknesses. She met Lottie’s gaze, hating herself for the way she felt her cheeks burn against her pale skin. She wasn’t supposed to have a weakness, something that could make her knees go weak. She was the strong one. The tough one. And she didn’t, up until a few weeks ago.
It had been their closest game of the season, and things were tense. The girls were silent in the locker room, and all of them left with more haste than normal. Natalie had sat against the lockers, fighting tears for the first time in a while. She could usually suppress them easily, but she had choked today. She wasn’t meant to do that.
She had let the defender slip right past her, letting her secure one of the team’s two goals. It was the worst slip up of the whole season, and everyone knew it. She also knew all too well that some of her teammates were a little scared of her to say the least — except for maybe Lottie — so no one said a word. Not even Jackie, confident and assured team captain. Not even Taissa, headstrong and ready to call Natalie out on the smallest mistake.
That’s how she knew it was bad.
When it got to the point where she was sure everyone had left, she let herself cry. God, had it felt good. For the first time in months, a pure, genuine release of-
“Nat?”
Fuck.
She ran an arm across her face, and glared up at the source of the interruption.
“The fuck are you doing here, Lottie?” She seethed, looking away guiltily at Lottie’s wounded expression. The taller girl fumbled her words.
“Shit, I’m so sorry- I didn’t mean… are you okay?”
She lowered herself to sit next to Natalie, awkwardly resting her arm over her shoulder. At this level of affection, Natalie began to cry more, turning to bury her face into Lottie’s neck. The two sat, not talking, for a few minutes before the blonde girl's crying died away.
“S-sorry you had to see that.” She mumbled awkwardly, turning her head.
“No! It’s fine, I promise. Are you okay, though? I… I know it seemed bad out there, but we won in the end, right? Just because you let that ball slip past, it does not make you a bad soccer player, okay? You’re one of the best on the team, and everyone loves you-”
“Everyone hates me.” She interjected, turning to face Lottie. Eyeliner was smudged beneath her eyes, and her lip quivered a little. Even if Lottie knew Natalie was hard to figure out, she could tell one thing; Natalie was being genuine. She really thought no one liked her. And the knowledge of that broke her a little. Natalie went on.
“I just- you’re all popular and sporty and rich, and I’m what? I’m just the burnout that people are scared of. Who lives in a trailer park, who gets bad grades, who messes up soccer games. No one has any hopes for me, because why should they?”
She looked away again, fighting another wave of tears.
“I don’t.”
The words were spoken quietly, almost at a whisper, but they were sincere. Natalie turned to look at Lottie, who was staring at the floor. She glanced up, offering a soft smile.
“Uh- hate you, that is. I don’t hate you. And I really don’t think the others do. Everyone thinks you’re cool, Nat. And so what if you’re a bit intimidating? At least the opponents are scared of you.”
Natalie chuckled a little at that, and shook her head slightly.
“I don’t get it.”
Lottie cocked her head. “Get what?”
“...Why you’re so nice to me? You’re kind of the only one. It’s…” She paused to think, and met the brunette’s gaze with a smirk. “It’s actually sort of adorable.”
Lottie’s eyes widened, though not in surprise. That is, not in surprise of what she said. She knew there had been something between them for ages, a palpable tension that tightened at every slight glance, every small smirk. But she had never expected Natalie to act on it, and definitely not now.
Natalie gently reached her hand to cup the taller girl’s cheek. She felt Lottie’s face grow warm under her touch, smirking at her flustered expression. She giggled a little, leaning in ever so slightly.
“Is this oka-”
Lottie surged forwards impulsively, closing the gap. The kiss lasted for hardly a second before Natalie pulled away, settling into a smirk at Lottie’s wide-eyed expression.
“I… that was… nice. Could you… kiss me again?” Lottie glanced away awkwardly, a little embarrassed at her boldness.
Natalie grinned, wrapping her hand around the back of the other girl’s neck, pulling her in again. This time, the kiss lasted for longer, both of them leaning in further, relaxing, melting into each other's touch.
That was why now, weeks later, they were making out behind the bleachers, giddy with love. Natalie, being much shorter than Lottie, raised herself on her tip-toes as high as she could, grumbling something unhappily every time the other girl would tease her by lifting her head just out of her reach.
“Hm- Lottie stop it-”
“Aww but it’s so fun teasing you.” She giggled back, but lowered her head to kiss her more, both of them so desperate for the other. Natalie moved her hand to the bottom of Lottie’s shirt, beginning to feel her way under. Lottie pulled away in surprise, taking a slight step back. The blonde girl flushed red, and looked away.
“Shit- sorry.”
“No, it- it’s okay. Maybe another time. But we should go to training. C’mon.” She pecked Natalie gently on the cheek, grabbing her hand and pulling her towards the field. The shorter girl followed after, head still dizzy, and very in love.

Susan Kay's 'Phantom' Read: Part IV (Nadir)
I always knew I'd have mixed feelings about this chunk of the book.
I feel like the issues with the rampant Orientalism and just generally how very wrong Kay is about so much of this have been sufficiently commented on by others, so I'm not going to spend a lot of real estate on that. I'm mainly going to focus on what bugs me personally.
Which is... well, several things
Where do I start?
I guess with "Nadir" himself. I don't know who "Nadir" is, but he's #NotMyDaroga. 'Why's that?' You may ask? Well because, in my opinion, he's only tangentially related to his source material. There's a lot here that checks the boxes: Daroga of Mazanderan, reluctant with many of his duties, simultaneously in awe of and terrified of Erik’s genius all of that's in there. Buuuuut
First of all, Kay took the most practical, likeable character in Leroux's work and made him whiny and annoying. All he does for the first five pages is complain. Within those five pages he also refers to himself as "regrettably squeamish". Nothing happens in the course of this episode to show him growing out of that, so how we get the, pragmatic badass who haunts the Paris opera house keeping Erik in check I have no idea (I also have no idea how this is gonna go later in the book).
Not only that but this in particular stuck out to me:
Some of the illusions were positively supernatural, and long before the show was at an end, I was quietly convinced that I stood in the presence of a genie, created from fire more than two thousand years before Adam. I noted uneasily that he was left handed. Every Moslem knows that the devil is left handed--it is for this reason that we always take care to spit to the left. My fingers felt instinctively for the amulets that hung at my neck, an outstretched hand made in silver and the dried eye of a sheep, killed at Mecca on the great day of sacrifice. Both were powerful protective agencies, and I had never felt more in need of their protection. I took care not to meet his gaze, for I already feared his evil eye.
This stands in sharp contrast to the Persian of Leroux:
If I had been a superstitious man or easily susceptible to weakness, I could not have failed to think that I had to do with a siren of some sort whose task was to trouble the voyager bold enough to travel on the waters of the lakeside house; but, thank God, I come from a country where the fantastic is so cherished that we know it to its depths, and in times past I myself have studied it extensively. Anyone who knows the magicians trade can excite the human imagination with a few simple tricks.
Of course you can make the argument that the Persian speaking here has known Erik for years now and is wise to his tricks, whereas Kay's "Nadir" is seeing them for the first time. But I'm sorry. I don't buy it. Leroux's Daroga, though amazed and awestruck by Erik's skills at illusion, never indicates that he has even been so fooled by them as to actually mistake him for more than what he is: a genius, certainly, but no genie.
Which leads me to wonder if Erik's magic tricks in this book aren't a little too fantastic. Granted Kay never leads us to believe that they really are supernatural, but she uses Erik's degree of genius as a bit of a shield to get away with not revealing the secrets to some truly fantastic tricks, while Leroux nearly always explains Erik's mechanisms (whether they would work to the level of efficacy Leroux describes its up for debate, but he at least does have explanations for them all.
I think it's hilarious and contemptible that Kay has, at numerous times in this book, dropped incredibly clunky and gratuitous clusters of architectural technical terms, just lists of them for no apparent reason except, I can only assume, to show off how much research she did on the subject; and then makes it so patently obvious that her cultural research is dubious, negligible, or entirely non-existent.
She goes to great lengths to paint Nadir as a devout Muslim, which is not something Leroux ever did, now that I think about it. I don't doubt that the Persian is, at least culturally, be he seems quite ambivalent to his religion, as a rule. It quite literally (as far as I can recall) never comes up. But Nadir is. Several times she has him exclaim "Allah" much in the way a Westerner would use "God" as an expletive. Not "Wallah" not even "By Allah" just "Allah".
"Allah, how I hated cats!"
And it's not only the things he says but the things he doesn't say that annoy me (though I'm a layman, and very much open to correction). Common Islamic phrases that could easily be used in any of the situations Nadir finds himself in are completely left by the wayside. There isn't even a single "Inshallah" in his entire narrative.
Another problem I have is that Kay's Daroga is a widower with a sick son. A very complex emotional relationship develops among Erik, Nadir, and Nadir's son, Reza, to whom Erik feels an affinity, as the boy is slowly crippled by a debilitating congenital disease. I have a problem with this because its all very... I call it the Michael Burnham effect. That is to say this is a very important and big emotional thing in The Persian's relationship with Erik and I don't believe that this wouldn't have come up in any of the Persian's narrative if it was actually the case. This is a liberty which Kay, in my opinion, shouldn't have taken. It affects Erik's entire relationship with The Persian in ways that strain my credulity. And it's part of the reason that Erik's character here is fully beginning to stray deeper into a musical-based version than the Leroux-version (which I have a problem with, as this book is ostensibly following Leroux's outline). She even goes to far as to have Erik acknowledge Nadir, with complete (if reluctant) sincerity, as his friend. And this pretty much confirms my suspicions of where "Erik and Daroga are friends" comes from. Whatever Erik and The Persian's odd relationship in the book is, I can't call it friendship with how frequently The Persian calls him "the monster".
Note don't get me wrong Erik and Daroga do definitely have a bizarre bond that is, I think, a kind of friendship. Daroga feels sympathy for Erik, and also responsibility for him. He is, in many, ways, more like an older brother than a friend. I could say so much on this subject but that's for another post.
But what I find really baffling and annoying about Erik and Nadir's "friendship" in this book is the drugs.
I can't express how repugnant I find this. I think it's an insult to both Erik and the Persian, the fact that Nadir HIMSELF GETS ERIK HOOKED ON OPIUM. WHY. And then she has the fucking nerve to lampshade with all the "Oh yes Opium's a terrible horrible deadly habit" Only to have Nadir turn right around and give Erik his fix. What the actual fuck.
But setting aside that Susan Kay actually said "I'm not just going to make Nadir annoying, I'm also going to make him an enabler!" Is the fact that... I just don't buy Erik doing drugs.
I know Erik is an artist, and artists throughout the ages have been associated with decadent habits like drugs and alcohol to soothe their tortured souls or broaden their minds to ever more fantastic plains blah blah blah.
But Erik is not an every day kind of character. Erik is notable in how uniquely he glories in his tribulations. Erik's music in particular is a manifestation of his pure emotions both good and bad, and I think for him to alter his moods with substances, to him, would sully the purity of his art, which he always characterizes as a spiritual, almost holy thing.
And here's another thing. Part of the reason Erik is doing opium in this book is, yes the horrors of his past, but also the terrible things he's doing in the present... which I do think Erik of Leroux did grow sick of what was demanded of him in Persia (he explicitly says he wanted to put it all behind him), but I don't think he probably felt... that bad about it? I dunno maybe that's just me.
Moving on.
I'll pause here to say that while I think Kay is a bit guilty of "de-fanging" Erik in this book, I genuinely do appreciate her emphasis on his affinity for the weak and broken, and his knack with animals.
So now I come to one of the things that made me look most askance at this section. Again, the conceit of this book (or at least what I was given to understand the conceit was) is that its filling in the blanks that Leroux left vague. And I don't really know if that was Susan Kay's intention, but it's certainly how the Phandom took it. Which is why it bugs me when there are things in here that either don't quite jive with canon or straight up contradict it.
Now in terms of the canon of Leroux's actual book, we're not sure exactly which Shah employed Erik. Leonard Wolf point out that Leroux mentions Erik "[fighting] the Emir" and posits that he is referring to the Afghani-Persian war of 1837. This would put Erik’s age in PotO at about 60, assuming he was very young at the time (in his teens). That would make Erik's patron Mohammad Shah Qajar.
However M. Grant Kellermeyer (and most others writing about this period in Erik’s life, including Susan Kay) favour the idea that Erik’s patron was Mohammed's son, Nasser al din Shah Qajar.
When Erik and the Persian talk about the "Rosy Hours of Mazanderan" they both make mention of the "Little Sultana", who is described by Leroux's narrator in the epilogue as "the Shah-in-Shah's favourite", whose boredom was the Shah's impetus for sending the Persian to find Erik in the first place, and whose delight in bloodthirsty spectacles of torture and execution allowed Erik's talents in those areas to develop into a finely honed art.
Now I would take "the Little Sultana" to mean one of the Shah's wives, concubines, daughters, or even a sister.
But Kay, for some inexplicable reason, chooses to interpret this capricious (and bloodthirsty) female figure--the Shah's favourite--as his... mother.
Now Nasser al din Shah's mother was Malek Jahan Khanom, who, true to Kay's portrayal was Regent of Persia for one month (September 5th - October 5th) in 1848. Also like Kay's "Khanum", Malek was a formidable and politically savvy woman, and definitely not an individual you would want to cross.
Tumblr media
I can't dispute the idea of the Khanom being an incredibly powerful figure, and the type you would need and want to keep appeased (she is described by Kay as keeping her son firmly under her thumb), but I have to look at the fact that Kay read "The Little Sultana, the Shah's Favourite" and really said, "Right. That'll be his mom" and squint a little bit.
On top of this, the Khanum is characterized as having a sexual obsession with Erik, very similar to the way Duchess Josiana is aroused by Gwynplaine's facial deformity in Victor Hugo's The Man Who Laughs, and is first irritated, then enraged by Erik's constant indifference. This fact is not lost on the Shah.
I just don't know ya'll. It's...I just... I don't know about this.
M. Grant Kellermeyer speculates that the "Little Sultana" Leroux refers to, to be the seventh wife of Nasser al din Shah, Jeyran, whom he first took as a mistress in around 1850 following a chance encounter during which he apparently fell in love with her on sight. One story of their meeting even asserts that she was one of his mother's servants.
Tumblr media
If that is the case it would be one reason why Malek and Jeyran stood locked for years in stark political opposition to each other.
Jeyran was herself formidable and enjoyed many masculine pursuits including hunting and shooting, and not even the Khanom was able to dissuade Nasser from conferring her the title of Forough ol-Saltaneh, or from naming her son the crown prince (though this decision was stuck in political hell for years because of Jeyran's lack of influential blood-lines).
She was his favourite wife until her early death in 1860 at the age of 29.
It's my opinion that Leroux's "Little Sultana" is a composite of Jeyran and her successor as the Shah's favourite, Anis al-Dalweh, who was even more formidable and politically savvy than Jeyran. She was the only one of the Shah's wives known to share his meals and the only one he suffered to publicly criticize him, and she took over Malek's duties as the head of the harem upon her death in 1873.

Anya is actually in need of therapy
ive seen a lot of posts of how threatened anya is of her mom having a better image in her dads vision. ( cause she knows he is a highly regarded spy and can send her to the orphanage any time) though this is not the case. we know this as the audience that Loid 'for the mission' Forger is lying to himself fo how less anya means to him. but Anya, not so much.
In this essay, we will be over analyzing '2D fictional characters in a east berlin in the 60s simulation' tm
Let's start with man himself, Twilight. From the first chapter of the manga, we can see anya constantly fearing abandonment from loids thoughts, though the dude did not intend this, it still messed with Anya.
next, Anya's past. we know from the first chapter that the scientists were complete assholes and that they did not let anya enjoy the simple things like drawing. they forced her to study. So, it is not far fetched to assume that the scientist had a sorts of one sided exchange system like ' you 'study' this or no food' or something even worse. so anya naturally assumes that if she doesn't help papa with the mission, she'll be sent back to the orphanage.
more on her past is that all the families that adopted her seem to be traditional like they fell in love or it was an arranged marriage. Hence the both father and the mother always spoke as a unit weather mutually agreed about or not. so she, a 3 to 4 year old sees the adults in her life agree with one or another on her being sent away. she would hear their thoughts on how she was a which or disgusting and would be sent away. one of the parents may care deeply about her but would eventually come around and listen to the other due to societal expectations or pressure from their spouse.
Now, putting it all together. Anya thinks that if she doesn't help papa with the mission, then he'll send her away as he uses big and complicated words that are in a serious and final tone in regard to her. Anya always had the option to stay with mama, until recently. as she has become more stern and strict in raising her like telling her to greet her father properly or to do her homework. In her view, papa and mama have started to act as a unit. the 'I' is turning into 'WE' and that said we sounds a lot like the ones that her former foster parents and scientists used to hurt her. the only way she can keep her family life is to make plan B a success.
How about we as a fandom rally together to get anya a lifetime supply of peanuts and lots of snuggles.

For the requests: maybe Brott? (Brick x Scott)
full disclosure: i haven't gotten to TDROTI in my rewatch yet (mid-TDWT rn) so if anyone seems OOC i apologize it's been a while since ive seen it!! but i think brott is a super cute pairing and brick has always been one of my faves from the newer casts so i hope you enjoy :)
also on my ao3!
Part of a soldier's duty is to keep alert, and notice the little things not everyone else does. Brick may not be top of the class, but he had to have gotten picked for the new season of Total Drama for a reason. And if he really wants a shot at the money, it's probably best to start strategizing before the game even begins.
Which is why Brick starts people-watching as soon as he boards the boat to the island, so he can get a head start on sizing up the - somewhat intimidating - competition.
The most obvious threats, he checks out first. The girl in the grey tracksuit is clearly super athletic, as is the guy in the jersey he's pretty sure is named Lightning. Loud, both of them, but probably also headstrong. Easy to anger. Brick's known plenty like that over the course of his years of training. They'll be ones to watch out for, for sure.
The big guy is quiet - really quiet - and Brick's positive he's got to be secretly housing some mad brains up there. The small kid with the glasses won't get anywhere in the physical challenges, but in Brick's experience, those types of people can serve up a truly merciless smackdown of intelligence. Brick wouldn't call himself dumb, but he's never exactly been an Einstein - watch out for them, too.
Zoey is sweet - she'd introduced herself to Brick near the top of the boat ride, obviously eager to get to know her fellow competitors - and therefore not much cause for concern. Ditto Mike, who seems both nervous and excited, and ultimately, non-threatening. Dakota (and he knows her name is Dakota, because she'd loudly announced herself as she'd sashayed on board) is caught up in her own glossy glamorous self, the curly-haired guy too wrapped up in his video games to give Brick cause for much worry. The Italian girl is a little scary (not that Brick's afraid or anything, haha) and the small kid in the green sweater has done nothing but meditate this whole time. Yeah, they shouldn't be a problem.
Neither is the loud girl in the pink jacket. Brick never caught her name - he's sure she introduced herself, but she's been talking the ear off of everyone non-stop and in all that prattle, none of it seems to actually hold any merit. And Brick would know a thing or two about merit, yes sir!
Chatty Cathy's current victim appears to be the only other remaining contestant - looks like your classic Nova Scotian farm boy, chopped red hair, threadbare wifebeater, unimpressed look on his face. Brick doesn't know his name, or his deal - strength from years of outdoor chores? Some hidden smarts no one would assume of him? Brick has no idea. Come to think of it, Brick's not even sure he's heard the guy say a word. Not that it's in any way easy to get a sentence in edgewise with pink jacket girl around, of course - had she said her name was Tracey? Sarah?
"What are you staring at, buzzcut?"
Brick instantly straightens his spine, standing at attention, embarrassed to have been caught looking at the farm boy. "Nothing. I wasn't staring at anything."
"Uh, yeah, you totally were," says pink jacket. "It was so obvious! By the way, did you know that my great-great-great-great-great uncle Gordon first coined the term obvious wayyyyyy back in - "
"Put a sock in it," farm guy mutters, and strangely, she seems to listen to him. He diverts his attention back to Brick, advancing on him like some sort of terrifying jungle cat. "Trying to size up the competition?" He sniffs, thin lips curled into a sneer. "All you need to know about me is that I'm gonna kick your sorry ass off this island."
Brick stands his ground. "With all due respect, you don't know that for certain. Mr....?"
"Scott." He grabs a hold of the front of Brick's shirt, pulling him in close and oh no, he's hot, and whoa, he's got freckles like everywhere. "I'll make sure you won't forget it, private."
And with one last withering glare, he lets go of Brick and stomps away.
"Wow." In all that had just happened, Brick had forgotten Staci (!!) entirely, but she's throwing an arm around his shoulder now in what she likely thinks is a comforting manner. "That guy is gonna eat you alive! Speaking of cannibals, my cousin's sister's dog's landlord totally eats people! Chris would probably love to have him on the show, yah, he's a total maniac but I bet he'd be great for ratings, ya know? Ya know, my great-great-great-great - "
But Brick isn't listening to a word. He's staring down at his shirt, positive he can see the imprint of Scott's fingers seared into the fabric there, because why else would Brick have burned the way he did when Scott touched him?

So ive recently fallen head over heels for a certain radio demon. Can i get Alastor with a human female s/o (maybe she accidentally summoned him or something)? Maybe his feelings and reactions to her interacting with her young nephew (mine is 10 months old) whom she lives with? Sorry thats complicated af, i love your stuff tho!
Hello! Don't worry, this isn't too complicated. I love the idea; babies are adorable and I want to hold them, they all belong to me now. I hope you enjoy this! I made it super wholesome. No cut because no triggers and this isn't too long.
Alastor - I imagine the only way he would meet a human is if he was summoned. Perhaps [Y/N] delved a little too deep into the occult, did something she read from the fucking Necronomicon and summoned Alastor. - Meeting him is no issue...Getting on his good side is difficult. After the initial summoning he refuses to go away. He'll constantly appear in shadows to tease his new muse and sometimes wake her up in sleep paralysis just to scare the living piss out of her. He finds it oddly entertaining. He finds her entertaining. - He'll casually appear from a lamp shadow one night while she's busy and ask her if she has any plans tonight. When she responds with a no, he says he'll be her plan that night. The relationship sort of happens on its own. Over time he becomes emotionally attached and refers to her by little pet names. Fawn, Dear, Doe, etc. Maybe [Y/N] could refer to him as Bambi, Buck, Darling, etc. He wouldn't mind. It evolves into something romantic over time. He would make some cute little show of giving her a passionate kiss. His lips are cold and taste like metal. After a kiss he claims her as his and though he hasn't offered her a deal for her soul, he still considers her as his. He values her too much to request her soul, he loves her much more the way she is. - He's aware of the baby she lives with and assumed that perhaps it was her baby, which he would have had no issue with. But no, it's her nephew! He's usually doing little baby things like chewing on stuff, crawling around and getting into places he shouldn't be, he can be a hassle sometimes. - It's the time she's playing with him that he adores most. He has a soft spot for children. He loves to watch her read Dr. Seuss books to him, gives him dolls and soft toys to play with and rocks him to sleep. He'll even help and play a lullaby for him; the baby is unaware of him but that makes it all the sweeter. - He really loves watching her interact with her nephew, it's a very wholesome view. Very rare to see in Hell. If her nephew is trying to walk and falls down he'll send a little shadow to coo at him and help him back up and balance him. If he could attach a shadow to her nephew to always watch him he would in a heartbeat. However the border between the living world and Hell is too thick for that. - When he finally walks all by himself Alastor is overjoyed, his little shadows applaud him while his aunt picks him up and congratulates him. He likes to believe he had a helping hand in her nephew growing up a little and he wants to stick around and watch her nephew grow, as well as be there with her. He really adores her and how kind she is, to him, her nephew and others. - He doesn't want to jump the gun and say he has a little family of his own or anything but...He wouldn't mind the new nickname, "Uncle Alastor". - Bonus if those are his first words! Maybe he hears his aunt say his name and teasingly calls him Uncle Alastor so much her nephew picks it up and says it. His heart would explode with love and joy.

Hiya! this might be really out of the blue but Ive been thinking about mother Delancey recently and like, what do you think happened to her? what do you think her relationship was like with Oscar and Morris if she was ever around?
hi! don’t you worry, i am literally always down to be asked literally anything about the delanceys - and i’m particularly excited about this question, because i do have a lot of thoughts about both of the delanceys’ parents. there’s lots of things i’ve slipped into fics in sort of one-off mentions, but haven’t been able to properly do anything with just yet, but i definitely have a lot of ideas. the topic of the delanceys’ mother interests me a lot, particularly how oscar “i guess he didn’t take care of me” delancey doesn’t mention her once.
cw suicide, mental health issues, abuse, standard my-delanceys stuff
first off, just to establish my basis in my own personal lil universe: ‘delancey’ isn’t their real name. oscar made it up on the spot - based on a nearby signpost - when snyder asked for their family name and he couldn’t stomach saying their father’s. i don’t have a solid idea for their real last name, i believe blaze uses ‘williams’ - i just like it as this clear distinction between the delanceys and their parents. not even a name linking them. harder to trace them, behind the rumours that follow them and race who knows their father’s face only because he saw them kicking it in.
their mother was deeply mentally ill. deeply emotionally absent too, checked out in the face of this clearly volatile relationship the boys had with their father, one which i imagine involved a lot of violence from a very early age. both boys are unwanted, a bastard and a son tying their mother to this man she had to marry to rectify mistakes she’d already made - oscar - and now she’s stuck, she’s here, on this isolated farm with nothing but her awful family to cling to. she ignores the boys being hurt and neglected and mistreated, out of this mixture of self-preservation and her own resentment for them - she hurts them plenty too, on her bad days - and it’s so much easier just to drink and drift. pointless to get involved, defending boys she doesn’t care to defend. her focus is survival, just living one day to the next with whatever she has to do and take and think to cope. she gets a factory job when the farm starts failing and money gets tight, and suddenly she’s gone long hours working too hard rather than sitting for hours listlessly at the dining room table or on the porch, often praying endlessly and muttering hail marys. and then suddenly she’s dead. it’s almost like she was never there in the first place.
i see her having bipolar or something adjacent. something the boys understood as something unpredictable, pushing and pulling her between good days where she’d be absentminded and daydreaming, and bad days where she’d be on a hair trigger to attack them or start screaming over anything they’d done. she’s overworked and overwrought, a woman who needed help and love and never got either, so the boys only ever really knew her as a shell of a person. a ghost of a mother. morris loved her most, desperate for her attention and most likely to get it, albeit just in a brief stroke of his hair he’d struggle not to flinch away from, but oscar resented her. cut all his own desire for her love into pieces and sharpened them into hatred, same as he did for their father.
she killed herself when the boys were still living on the farm, maybe about ten and twelve years old, just a year or so before their father disappeared and they both left for the streets and then the refuge. their father never told them that she killed herself, just came home drunk a few days after the fact and told them she was dead - they assumed it was a factory accident - but wiesel let it slip to oscar years later while spouting cruelty at him. maybe she threw herself from a factory window, from a bridge, into the hudson. it’s a secret oscar keeps fiercely from morris, though he lives terrified that someday wiesel’ll tell morris, drunk and angry and mean, just like he told oscar.
(i also think that jack’s dad killed himself, and it adds a whole other element because Foils.)
oscar thinks a lot about catholic views on suicide and whether ma would’ve made it to heaven, whether pa might. he doesn’t even know if either was baptised, and he’s pretty sure suicide sends you to hell anyhow, but he tries not to think about it. tries not to think about their mother in general, a woman who never did much for them except doom them to being alive and then leave them to it. a sentence she couldn’t even serve herself. he thinks about her whenever he sees the virgin mary, madonna, our lady. he thinks about the prayer cards she kept, and sometimes tore to shreds when she was having episodes. he thinks about her looking on, emotionless, whatever their father was doing. he thinks about her silhouette at the dining table. she was beautiful, beneath everything. morris looks just like her.
morris feels a lot of sympathy for her - or tries to. he searches for answers in his prayers, in his sleepless nights. he wonders if he might’ve done something wrong for her not to love him or oscar. unlike with pa, it’s harder for him to think that his beatings from her weren’t caused by him being bad, deserving it. when oscar spits disparaging words about her, spits on her memory in his bitterest moments - usually when morris brings her up - morris will argue for her. even if it gets him hit just like how she used to hit, a sudden manic burst of anger that leaves him reeling, oscar breathing hard with that fire in his eyes and looking like ma even with all of pa in his face, morris will defend her. try to remember her face and fail, only able to see her silhouetted in lamplight. see her in his own reflection, if he catches himself at the right angle.
if their dad’s a monster loose on the city, she’s a ghost haunting them.

PLEASE go into detail about why Kane and River broke up. I need to know more about both of them and their disastrous relationship
hfdfhdsaj, i dont know if i would classify it as disastrous, but it was definitely for the best that they broke up!
for extra context, before river, kane dated two others, aria and chloe. ive talked about them briefly before and those two plus river can be seen together in my heaven says video!
being the last aera alive, there is a LOT of unspoken pressure on kane to keep his family bloodline going. feli is sort of the main authority figure who is urging kane to take a suitress. kane's relationships with aria and chloe were both sort of already set up by feli, and while kane genuinely gave those relationships a shot it just felt... wrong. obviously the main reason that it felt wrong is because, well, kane is gay! and wasnt physically or romantically attracted to either aria or chloe. but because kane was completely clueless, he assumed that the reason behind why it felt wrong was because the relationships were set up by feli rather than happened naturally. (which definitely was apart of it, but obviously the main reason is that he isnt attracted to women LMAO) so when kane broke up with aria, and later chloe, he was able to be honest with them that it just didnt feel right! so those break ups were much less messy.
river was already friends with him and his friend group at this point, and she was starting to get some feelings for kane. kane always regarded river as a really good friend but never considered her as a partner. and because he never had gotten romantic feelings for anyone at that point (other than having a crush on jay- but he was a child at the time and no one told him what his feelings meant so he completely disregarded it) he didn't even know what love was supposed to feel like!
so when river pulled him aside one day and confessed her feelings for him, he sorta short-circuited and thought "oh. well she is a really good friend and i like being around her and this is happening naturally rather than being set up so that means this is what True Love feels like" so in a super unfortunate case of misunderstanding, kane completely mixed up platonic and romantic attraction and told river that he felt the same way. and soon enough they became a couple.
well things start to get a bit rocky for them when river notices that kane never really. treats her like a partner. like he'd just treat her like she was his buddy. like if they were on a date he'd view it as just two pals hanging out rather than a loving bonding moment between partners. that isn't necessarily a bad thing by itself but river communicated to him that she wants to feel loved by him and points out that he doesnt really say "i love you" to her that much or even at all. and that she wanted to receive physical affection like nose touches or cuddles and stuff. kane of course is receptive to that and explains that it just didnt cross his mind that he should be doing that. well if your partner says that to you that definitely wouldn't make you feel very desired by them :,) (obviously that wasnt kane's intention at all. he's just. clueless)
kane of course wants to make river happy so he tries to do what she asks of him! but soon he would find that every time he cuddled her or told her that he loved her- uh oh. that wrong feeling came back, and it was worse than ever. kane thought that he did everything right this time, so why did he feel nothing whenever river said "i love you" to him? why did he feel so uncomfortable when her fur was pressed against his? why did thinking of river as anything more than a good friend feel so bad?
well, kane pulled into himself a lot during this time. confused and lost as to why he's feeling the way he is. well, river definitely noticed the way he tensed up whenever she pressed against him. how he pursed his lips and said nothing every time she said an affectionate phrase. and river is the type to want to deal with issues, so she brought it up- in a bit of a confrontational way.
it wasn't a full-blown fight between the two, it was just river desperately trying to get some sort of reassurance that she is loved by her partner, with kane desperately not wanting to admit that he doesn't.
but since she was sick of beating around the bush, river just asked "do you love me? did you ever love me?" kane didnt say anything, which answered everything.
to say river was distraught is an understatement, and in a fit of anger and sorrow she broke up with him on the spot and left. she had known kane for so long, both as a friend and a boyfriend, and to be indirectly told that she was never even loved by him was soul-crushing. since kane isnt the best at explaining himself, she views the relationship as kane just stringing her along, constantly lying to her to pardon his own feelings. and as a result, river feels extremely betrayed. kane recognizes that he's hurt her and he does feel really really guilty, but he also feels lost and broken because he doesn't know why this keeps happening.

ive just been thinking about it so here are my initial thoughts
fucking marrok man. like wtf. i was legitimately excited for this guy, even though he kinda seemed like a one-note character, i was so excited to see what being an inquisitor was like after the empire was defeated, like it's almost a reversal of order 66 and now the hunters become the hunted. and if filoni has proven one thing, it's that making one-note characters more complex is kind of his specialty. but i GUESS NOT
the ahsoka-baylan duel...it was just not enjoyable for me. my interpretation is that they were trying for something similar to what obi-wan and maul did on tatooine in rebels, where they used lightsaber stances as non-verbal communication. in rebels it was obi-wan assuming his prequels/cw pose, then his original trilogy pose, then the pose that qui-gon used when maul killed him. maul thought he could use the same attack he did when he killed qui-gon, and his immediate defeat shows how obi-wan has thought about that day for years and years, and how he's always learning from his past, whereas maul only thinks about his past as a source of anger and motivation for revenge. in ahsoka they might have been using the stances to sort of gauge each other's knowledge of the jedi traditions, and i appreciate the different uses of this heavy reliance on star wars lore, but the payoff doesn't seem so satisfying. ahsoka dismisses talking about her past (and tbf, why wouldnt she, like this guy is trying to start another galaxy wide war) so we don't really get anything out of it all *SO FAR* i really hope the relationship between her and baylan evolves and this lightsaber thing becomes more important, but on the surface right now it just felt like another sorta boring lightsaber fight. but i would absolutely love to hear other people's thoughts on this and ill probably edit this once more people have seen it and posted about it
also where's zeb. we saw him in the mandalorian, we know he's there. where are you hiding him. we know he knows paul sun-hyung lee (i forgot his characters name). he would absolutely have come with hera. also morai
im usually a pretty conservative shipper, like i don't really care about ships (as long as they're ethical lmao) i just don't really engage with that part of fandom. i could get behind luke and ezra being together, there's some cool sun and moon imagery there and they sort of have contrasting stories, as @hashtagloveloses said once. zeb and kallus i don't mind either. but barrissoka is my everything. it is the one ship that i want to see SOOO BADLY FUCCCKK PLEASE DAVE YOU SAID YOU HAVE PLANS FOR BARRISS LIKE TEN YEARS AGO PLEASEE
but yeah shin and sabine would be pretty cool too, there's definitely a lot of tension there and even though we don't know much about her (i really want to learn more) it would be cool to see shin have someone truly care about her, not be her boss or anything, and have sabine learn to lean more into honesty expressing her affection, since she's always been really stoic and i think shin would need that sincerity in a relationship
and i already mentioned anakin in another post but fuck im so happy to see hayden chritsensen again man. even if his story is lackluster (which oh my god i hope it's not) im so happy to see him again ❤️
i also really hope anakin brings up some character development/exploration for ahsoka cause like. what has she been doing. this is probably the biggest problem i have with this show so far, or at least second biggest lmao. i like that they're taking time to explore different characters and relationships in the universe, but i really want to see ahsoka get more time to shine. when put in a leadership position, she's always been a little more serious (character development from that one time she led a while squad to their deaths cause she was careless), like when she was with the younglings when they got their kyber crystals, but that doesn't mean she's invincible/unfeeling. she has lots of feelings about anakin and obi-wan and ezra and sabine, and i really want to see them!! when she said it's better to destroy the map and lose ezra than let thrawn return and start a war, i want to see her struggle with that like sabine does because she misses ezra too! i get that she didn't want to talk about anakin with baylan but let her talk about him with someone else! hopefully her world between worlds experience will help with that. some of the most solid development we've seen with her so far is being upset by how much she's let people down, ie anakin, sabine. and baylan tries to play into that to make her feel bad. i feel like that certainly will be explored more but fuck. it's about time.
i also want to see her relationship with the jedi more fully explored. i had always assumed that, while she was deeply affected by order 66, she didn't regret her decision to leave the jedi order. i thought that barriss had shown her some of the problems with it, and that her supporting the siege of mandalore showed that she was able to pursue what she thought was important, not the jedi order who were being heavily controlled by the senate and the politics of the time. but she seems to feel guilty about the fact that she's not a jedi? that she somehow let them down by not confirming to a system she no longer believed in? idk if i just made that up in my head cause i like to think of it that way and that my hradcanon is interfering with my enjoyment of this show lmao, someone please tell me if it is
another big problem i have with the show so far is how much it relies on the audience being invested in these stories to supply dramatic weight. and i don't mean in the way that it doesn't explain who sabine, ahsoka, hera, jacen, etc. are, this is obviously a show specifically for cw and rebels fans and im all the way here for it. i mean theres very little substance here, it feels like mostly biding time until ezra and thrawn show up. like we're 4 episodes in and we've seen some relationship development for ahsoka and sabine, a bit of hinting at a backstory for baylan, and...a lot of good guy v bad guy race for the special map, which just isn't very enthralling cause we know someone's gonna get to thrawn and ezra, we all saw lars mikkelson in the trailer. what i really want to see developed is his response to him being seen as a sort of messiah that will bring the empire back. or why baylan is so certain thrawn will start another war, or still be loyal to the empire at all with their power, and therefore political value to the chiss, as well as palpatine, who was sort of keeping him in line, gone. i want something substantial out of these stories were invested in, not just fodder for "ooh who are we gonna see next?"
also how much you wanna bet that ahsoka uses the world between worlds to get to thrawn. like its lines and shit appear in the credits so it's probably important
but yeah that's about all im thinking about right now hopefully next episode is crazy, cause it sure is shaping up to be a doozy

i came across this ask which ill give my first shot at answering in my own way cause im a spurs fan! and girl all i can say is i wish there was more tea to report on 😭😭 not to say that theres zero drama going down in san antonio.. ive always asked myself: theres so much nba tea floating around but so little on my guys?? but now i understand that drama doesnt happen as regularly bc gregg popovich has more control over these niggas off the court than you would expect. in other teams its not really a common thing for coaches to hold players accountable for non basketball related things but id compare pop/the organization to a teacher/school because in a way they operate as figures of authority (similar to college-style basketball). its tougher to find spurs drama since he keeps the younger guys on a tighter leash after learning the hard way from tim duncans messy ass divorce/tony parkers cheating scandal but i assure you tea is there even tho its harder to find. i do agree with anon that sochan and vassell look like hoes but idk if we'll ever get to know that (unproven rn) side of them aside from speculation by who they follow on insta. including jeremy whos the most active on socials, all of them trained to move in silence + being a small market + tight pr means less reports but yes there is some tea and hottakes id like to spill although its not much

speaking of primo hes an ex spur but josh primo signed a new contract after joining the clippers and proposed to his (white) gf (story in attachment above). congrats her ig he has the face of a child whos balls havent dropped yet AND is a sex offender 🤷🏾‍♀️
context for everyone who doesnt know: primo was waived (even after he signed a contract extension apparently) because he flashed his ugly d*ck to a team staff member and then claimed he did it bc he had mental health issues. after primos babyface was sued by his psychologist (the woman he flashed) he was waived without so goodbye to his creepy ass. (on a personal note i really hate how "mental health" is used as some excuse for these sorts of things. like this nigga seriously thinks theres any valid excuse for flashing his tiny pp at women?? especially the woman whos job was helping out his "mental health" shit in the first place?? foh). it had way less info than an event like the kpj case but i think the lack of it is a testament to the spurs pr so there could be other stuff in the bg we as the public simply dont know abt
-
on a more positive note ik julian champangie has a gf. shes makes frequent cameos on his insta and vice versa and have been together since high school. also i dont have the link but i clearly remember another anon in an old post here claimed that sochan is bi and follows trans women but ill put that to sleep since its false. being bi isnt 100% out of the question obviously (literally anybody can be bi without us knowing. looking at you dwight.) but theres no real evidence besides: omg look he dyes his hair and has an aesthetic he must be bi!!! i think people see a nigga who has an eccentric sense of style and instantly wanna jump to label him but nawww ive seen his following on insta 😂😂 anon was confusing "trans women" for TONS of polish/british/american (all white) insta thots. hes a cutie but it wouldnt be farfetched to assume hes not into black women. yall he aint bisexual hes biracial 😂😂
https://x.com/RTNBA/status/1691153501299134464?s=20
unrelated: sochan rookie hazing wembanyama during the offseason was kinda funny tho

dejounte and jaina are always on and off afaik lmfao girl secured some big bags. anyways dj talking about his experience with the spurs was insightful for me. i wasnt aware before there was alot of clash between ghetto behavior and how the organization wanted him to behave but frankly im not surprised by it
-
not really gossip related but stories of irl players ive encountered:
(retired spur) i met david robinson at church when i was really young. i remember being scared of him at first cause he was so tall lol but i remember him sitting down to shake my hand and my parents taking a picture of us. its kinda embarrassing since it has the vibes of a baby crying on santas lap but funny nonetheless 😂😂
got an autograph from demar a few years back. it was quick and we didnt talk much since he had to leave after but he was cool when i asked
the only current spur ive met is devin vassell in a random encounter at the gas station (this was last yr). i recognized him but wasnt sure how he was gonna react to being approached for an autograph/photo but he was really sweet w it. i asked him where he was headed to & he said the gym but joked after that, a nap at home with his dogs lol. the names of his two dogs, iirc he told me: donovan and ace. very warm, he has a pleasant voice and smile too, if hes a longtime spur he should join our broadcast team once he retires lmao
-
thank you for coming to my sas analysis despite my team lowkey tanking right now. have a great day owner, ill go back to lurking now, god bless you.
lmao anon thank you for this, i appreciate when you guys send long asks about things you care about!! but the josh primo case was definitely something that never made much sense to me. like why would he do that? i just can’t comprehend the thought process. it was a thing here in canada and a bunch of people were talking about it cause i know people who used to play with him. it’s getting weird. idk where to start with dejounte and jania but they’re both very annoying and belong with each other tbh. & gay/bi allegations are everywhere it’s crazy. lmao this was interesting overall though
