Within this last month I decided to put a hault on music as I need to figure out some things. I’ve been tunnel focused for so long. I realize there’s still more for me to appreciate before just advancing to the next level.

Looking to enroll in therapy and do some more inner work in regards to healing myself. I come from a dysfunctional home in the southside of Dallas. This life that I have built for myself was not easy and also took a lot for me to talk about. So the time needed to heal those parts of myself are what Im willing to take in order to give my best self moving forward.

Im ready to make a difference for myself. My skills have sharpened and I look to show more of what it is that I have learned and crafted. I am more than just the music I create, I enjoy being an artist. As an artist you couldn’t have told me what my multidisciplinary talents could provide for my future career. Though Im thankful nonetheless.

Focusing on skybox studios and enhancing it as a brand. Im also beginning to study the works of many artist so Im really enjoying reading more these days. Jazz music still sets the tone for me in the morning.

Improving my self confidence. Regaining my self esteem. Reclaiming my true identity again.

March 22 - 12:27am (Check In)

This was a hard month in different areas but Im still continuing to do the inner work. My strength is not always 100% but it counts.

Flew in from Houston and ate some food that reminded me of home. My girlfriend truly is my best friend. This post is a transparent one and I want to say.. thank you.

Thank you for not judging me. Thank you for loving me. Thank you for forgiving me. Thank you for comforting me. Thank you for listening to me. Thank you for investing in me. Thank you for believing in me. Thank you for treating me like a human being and supporting me. I love you with all of my heart.

10,000 feet up in the air and I also start to think about my childhood and the journey I’ve made so far.

Im proud. I just want to fucking say Im proud.

February Check In - 1:11am

January was a rough month. Lost my car. Felt lost a tad bit within figuring out some things but I made it through under God’s grace. I start to ponder in this feeling lately of how much beauty is in the struggle. I’ve always known it though it hits differently this time. God has a plan for me and Im going to carry it out to make sure the rest of those in the world can see it.

My new single “Grass Is Green” dropped and many people have grown close to it. I thought it used to be okay to hold onto things because thats what I was taught in order to brand yourself from the pop culture. Though I’ve grown to realize that in itself was a difficult time period in which now its truly based on fully embracing what makes us all unique and capitalizing on it. So Im going to show my light this year.

This tumblr post is a message to myself. I know this shit was hard to build. I know it doesn’t seem fair. I know people are going to be upset with any decision that doesn’t benefit them. But this plan that God has for me has never let me fail. I remember when I never thought this life could get this far.

Someday Ill come back here and there’s going to be a fan who found this and say “bro this was before he made it”. Tbh I just want you to know, there really is no such thing as that. Its just are you making the time? That is what the real question is.

Time=seeds. And you gotta sow these seeds man. Thank You God for it all. My eyes are open and Im fully awake. Once again. Thank you God for it all.

I have persevered through many trials and chosen to live more.

I have created a change in my community as well expanded my talents. Allow me to never fall short.

Father thank you for my girlfriend. I wish to prioritize more of what I can give to her and my family. Allow us to keep you at the center of our plans and grow with our spirit.

This year was filled with many things but the biggest blessing of them all is right here. Knowing that I am on the right path and have the most supportive people around me. Im blessed to be alive and live in the moment.

I am blessed to give and spread love on this earth through my artistic talents. As much as I love to grow and expand my career.. allow me to never lose sight of family Lord.

Auzzy suggested it so I’ve added “In A Benz” as the last track and had to rework the skit to make it feel more theatrical. There’s skits in songs, good beats, and overall Im shocked and proud at the same time

We really in the future bro cause I just created an album that’s partially created with AI.

The light on the cover is symbolic because each time I pray or know that God is present is when there’s a white light shining through the window. I made an AI window but its pretty understandable when viewing. The room is empty and that relates to how I feel when Im making music lately. Like Im in my own zone which explains the odd things in the cover.

Its my own zone.

The best part thats my favorite is the abstract painting of me and auzzy on the wall. She got me that as a gift and out friend keyana had painted it so even she gets to benefit from it.

I talked to J Ivy that sent me the giveaway shirt I won the other day today too and we talked about her using my song “grass is green” for her grass is green campaign she has going on in New York. Let alone its her whole new exhibition. She loved the song and said she’s going to make some content out of it as for further promotion so this month is full of surprises.

November Check-In,

For those of you who ever read this, know that God has a plan for you even when every avenue you’ve walked may have seemed full. Patience is a must. These days I’ve found myself making the younger version of myself proud through creative art post.

As a young fan of hip hop I enjoy so much of what music has to offer if you’re an artist whom is speaking from the soul. A lot of these artists below I first listened to when in my teenage years and still happen to in the present day.

I look to create more of these and see what else my art has to offer. Im thinking of journal mockups and stickers for right now. Maybe even a couple of t-shirt designs to come. So we’ll see what this next month entails as I hold back my excitement.

Sometimes people try to erase us as if we had no mark on this earth. No history. No trace. No witnesses to vouch. Nobody to remind others of our existence. It is almost like forcing someone into the shadows and controlling them to breathe accustomed to your own heart. I think thats what it feels like to be black. They say that black thrives everywhere. The darkest shadows are what hold up some of the tallest buildings. So maybe being black isn’t that bad at all once you embrace it. There’s a lot of strength built within us all.
