remembered my splatoon ocs and felt the urge to draw one, so.. here’s my agent 3, Cid!

i miss playing splatoon but i got really hardcore into just shapes & beats and with one of the updates i stopped having fun because as a roller main i couldnt do turf without getting annihilated in really embarrassing ways. i can get kinda salty so it was really unpleasant for me and also probably my bf who i play with, so…

i do love my ocs, though, so i decided to touch up cid a little and maybe ill figure out how to draw pilot too? idk dude. my askblog is gonna happen again eventually

(ive had ppl ask me if ask-squidbeak is coming back and ive been thinking abuout it and the answer is “maybe but im not sure when”? i kinda lost interest in splat when i got hit by the jsab train, and also drawing pilot is hard and not fun so i gotta figure out how to make him and cid fun + easy to draw hghghgh)

Have you seen a doctor or something about still being an Octoling Pilot?

PILOT: the short answer: yes, but they dont know what to do. i had a lot of physicals done and biologically i’m still an Inkling, just kinda... um. stuck looking like this. i’m not really sure how to feel about that!

PILOT: this has never happened before, so there’s no cure for it yet. and there might not ever be. im starting to get used to it but i missed last Splatfest because i wasnt sure if anything weird would happen to me, haha.

[ MUN: the REAL reason for my inactivity: i have a cat. she likes to sit on my tablet and try to eat my pen. she only does this when im trying to draw. she did that WHILE I WAS DRAWING THIS. so uh... art can sometimes be a challenge.
