people vaguely saying 'the horrors' as shorthand for 'life problems, don't worry about it' in conversations where the problems are not going to be delved into has got to be one of my favorite new Ways Of Speaking that has emerged. like it's polite and vague and succinct enough for impersonal conversation but also extremely honest. it's very funny. The Horrors. we all know of them.
This is so vague I love it. The voices you are hearing are real, god is speaking to you. The nation of France needs you. Don your armor, take up arms, lead the French army. This is your destiny, joan. When the flames come for you let them lick your bones and laugh.
now knowing greg writes the bits to ad breaks puts them somehow into a totally different light for me. sure some were more obvious than others, but... what do you mean, you wrote yourself spooning alex, putting a banana into his mouth, a finger as well, wrapping himself in a blanket and writing 'douche' on his forehead, the "never let go" thing, and sitting on alex's lap. sir, i have several questions. number one being: why? number two: are you really surprised people pick up on the sexual tension and run with it when you initiate it yourself‽ there are more questions but they are mainly for specific segues. so i just wanna end with: you blame alex for fuelling the internet stuff but you are just as responsible.
we all are in agreement about how much alex loves greg. i put it to you, greg is just as smitten with alex.

help shayma evacuate her family (via paypal)
"I am Shayma and I’m a part of a 16-person Gazan family hoping to relocate to safety as soon as possible. Our house was bombed on November 4th and my sister martyred and left two orphans behind. I am hoping to raise enough money to get everyone out of this war-zone in hopes of building a better life abroad. Right now, due to the IOF’s constant threats, the Rafah border is closed. However, they take bribes that reach up to $7k per person to allow us out. I’ve already collected $31k outside of GFM and now am in need for a $85k more. Please help me reach my goal. Your help is much appreciated." (Text taken from gfm*)
*out of concern that gofundme may cancel fundraisers like they cancelled ahmed's, links to gfm will not be added unless any successful campaigns for palestinians are fulfilled.

feed yemen - as retaliation for the houthi blockade in the red sea, the un world food program has cut food aid to yemen, a country that has been under enforced starvation for nine years. donate to: islamic relief usa, mona relief (based in yemen)
the palestinian children's relief fund: the Gaza Relief and Recovery campaign aims to address urgent humanitarian needs and support long-term recovery efforts in Gaza.
i am including the un world food program which has been distributing aid in gaza but please note they have paused food aid to yemen. while this does not appear to be a retaliatory measure, you may consider this when choosing where to donate.

The Christmas story, as we read it in the Bible, is a Palestinian story par excellence.
Because it talks about a Palestinian Jewish family from the north, from Nazareth, who's ordered by the empire of that time, the Romans, to evacuate the north and to go to the south, to Bethlehem, which is what the people in Gaza today are actually experiencing.
The story of Mary, a pregnant woman is the story of 50,000 pregnant women in Gaza who are on the run, they are in labor but they have to find refuge and you know they give birth outside in a tent, and so Jesus is born as a refugee like all these kids that are born today in Gaza.

XI. Every man has his torments, demons born of past wrongs that hound and harass him. You perceive the effects of Captain Flint's demons, echoes of their voices, but I know their names. I was there when they were born. I know the things they whisper to him at night. So you can believe me when I tell you that within his chorus of torments...
