The Journey Begins!
Tumblr media
Hey there boys and girls, I'm Banjagoo and I'm new to this whole Tumblr thing. I'm starting this microblog as a sort of accountability and progression tracker to help keep myself motivated. You see, I'm a bit of a self help junkie, as in I've consumed a TON of self help material from books and audio books to podcasts and blog posts over the last couple of years. However, I've found it hard to stay on track and implement the changes I need to make in my life and its become a drag lately.
In short, I needed to find a way to hold my self accountable as well as see the progression I'm making towards my life goals.
That's where this blog comes in.
I plan to use this as a sort of daily (or at the very least weekly) progression tracker where I post about what I managed to get done each day so I can look back and see how far I've come and by making this a Tumblr account rather than a personal diary, I feel more obligated to keep it updated since its in the public eye and not just a tattered journal saturated in cobwebs hiding next to a few dirty socks under my bed.
So what are my goals, exactly? To put it simply, my main goal in life is to become a full time YouTuber. I currently work in a factory and have for the last 12 years. Granted, the works not bad nor are the people I work with but I just don't feel fulfilled. I just wanna ditch the typical 9 to 5 and do my own thing, move to the beat of my own drum, as they say.
So why YouTube? There's a question and to answer, I guess I would have to say I don't really know. However, what I do know is that I have a passion for gaming, video and audio editing, and making people smile which I believe can all be satisfied by making YouTube videos. I actually had a channel a few years back but fell out of making videos for several personal reasons but I feel I'm at a time in my life where I can get back at it with little to no consequence or impact on my daily life so why not, right?
Anyways, I think this first post is long enough so in order to prevent myself from rambling on, I'm gonna end it here.
Wish me luck and follow along if you like as I set out on this journey of personal development and self fulfillment!
Let the journey begin!!
