When the remnants of a fallen society are also the tools of a new one, it can attest to their effectiveness but the synopsis of that time was this constant philosophizing of present and new ideas to find a better, more consistent solution.
Don't lose sight of why these conversations need to be had...to lead a happy, more fulfilling life collectively.
Philosophy is a collective responsibility. Being able to speak, elaborate, and provide an alternate perspective is what leads to a society is fulfilled as a whole.
Even the people in power at the time of Plato and Socrates were corrupt and chose to satisfy their own best interest instead of taking proper responsibility of their role as a leader.
The fact that we’re at such an insane time in which ideas can be shared instantaneously through various avenues thanks to the internet; where ordinary people can be given a voice to speak on whatever they choose to. That is a responsibility. Much like fame and being in the public eye. Our words carry so much weight, now more than ever but it depends on where the attention goes.
People in power have an abundance of resources at their disposal to create illusions and draw the masses to believe whatever they wish to impose. It often feels to me like I’m apart of this collective play, a show, intrinsically orchestrated to sway me to assume a role that will inevitably lead to a premature death while fulfilling nothing of personal value to me.
As bleak as that may sound, it’s commonplace for the majority of humans today. Choosing to live despite this enormous weight and actively making space for things that releases us from the pressure of the past or future. This allows us to be here in this moment, free, and allows for solutions, revelations, CLARITY to wash over us so we can start again.
Continuing to challenge ourselves out of curiosity of what could be on the other side, persisting despite fear, having faith in indulging your heart’s desire, and taking responsibility where/when necessary is what I believe need to be implemented in order to break free and inspire others to do the same.

It feels like nobody wants me,
And yet I persist to exist
In a body meant for something.
A rat race isn't my fate,
To feel out of pace
Is commonplace.
Maybe the circles I run,
Are abstract intangible motions,
And the missing piece is
Trusting the net God gave me.
Am I not already what I need to be without conforming to
A constricting reality?
Forward momentum,
A love letter to self,
indulging desire,
A sacred heart set ablaze.
Daring,
Disrupting,
er·rat·i·cal·ly mutating,
For the sake of new cosmic knowledge.
History,
In the making.
