hey thanks! yeah i might eventually do something with lucius! general thoughts eh? hmm… i’ll put this under the cut, since idk how long it’ll be…

if i’m being completely honest, i don’t really like lucius, i don’t even really find him that interesting. yes, his love for narcissa and draco overpowered his dedication to voldemort, but family love sure as hell doesn’t excuse anything he did or the way he acted.

he was prejudiced against anyone he deemed in a lower-class than himself, besides his immediate family, he really only cared about social status, money and power. he was a bigot, shrewd, cruel, callous, controlling… and really, it was only when he lost voldemort’s trust and regard for him and his family name and was treated little more than a slave that he abandoned any connection with the dark lord. and i feel like, unlike draco, lucius never really broke from the consequences of his actions, never realized that what he was doing was truly horrible.

i know that he was pardoned eventually, but can we really say that he changed? sure he defected from the death-eaters after realizing that his family was more important, but was there any regret or guilt? for all the deaths, the manipulation, the bad decisions? did he learn to respect muggles or half-bloods? learn to care more about just himself, his wealth and immediate family? did he realize that what he did was wrong like draco? did he live and learn from his mistakes? i don’t think so.

Hello! I just wanted to ask if you could (if possible and if you have the time) upload your Harry Potter book covers in higher resolution? Of all the covers for that series I've ever seen, yours are the most beautiful. I also want to say I'm totally in love with all of your work, I've been going through them for about two days now and have just been so awestruck and giddy. ♥

hi there! i’m not sure i still have the file for that set of edits.. :( however in that particular set, i remember that some of the pictures used weren’t very large, so to preserve quality, i had to post them as small as they are on tumblr. sorry about that! but thank you so much, i’m happy to hear you like the posts!! :)

I already sent one request to you so sorry if this is too many but what about a Ravenclaw edit that's bronze theme or at least blue and bronze? I feel like I only ever see people do blue so it might be nice to have both maybe?
