The BILLION DOLLAR BRAND - BURBERRY After lowering their prices in the ‘90s and signing on too much license, what’s supposed to be a luxury brand was being worn by low class obnoxious individuals. In fact, the behaviour associated with the brand got so bad that wearing Burberry was banned from pubs in the UK. They were once again able to portray a good brand image by changing the public perspective. Surely, a simple change in logo would not be all the high fashion streetwear brand had to do to maintain the aristocratic vibe on which it built its reputation. Burberry went further by designing a completely new monogram. Using the interlocking TB letters to pay homage to Thomas Burberry and features a vibrant color scheme that still resembles that of the legendary Nova Check. This lets it tap into the new trend of luxury streetwear, while still reminding people of its long history of prestige and exclusivity. Once again, they became known as high fashion. ❤️Read the caption❤️ It's always been tough, but it gets extra tough when what you're going through keeps you from getting things done. We find it really hard to come up with ideas when we're sad. Coming up with something unique, getting creative in our own ways when down in our feels becomes difficult, and that makes us sad 😔, frustrated 😤 or depressed 😞. Imagine having a client's project to take on for the day or week, surely you'd need your genius to come to rescue, but when it doesn't, we result to other measures to prevent things from getting messy. The challenge... This was the case with me 2 months ago. I found it extremely difficult to come up with a consistent content strategy for the blog and social media channels. The Solution... To bounce back from the "drought of ideas", I doubled the task by opening a personal #instagram account to build my #personalbrand. Since the @bluecipherite page used to be a personal acc, there was a need for another one for myself. Knowing better that the challenge is doubled with the personal and startup brands to manage, the task gave me a sense of responsibility, to get up, dress up and show everyday by putting something out there - without paying attention to the likes, comments and all the mentions. Accompanied with #inspiration from @redona.dida, @age_of_attitude and others, I started a daily working routine and #SHOWYOURFACE challenge. The workout uplifts my spirit from early in the morning, while the #SHOWYOURFACE challenge I run on my #IG acc @selfmaderidwanullah helped increase my confidence, courage and self love. During the "drought of ideas" period, I got through each day in a piece by expanding my mind with Redona's carousels. When feeling really frustrated from coding, I'd run to the #playstation4 and play some games, when that doesn't work, I result to watching #kdrama. Those are measures I took when it was too tough to take in. Bottom line To whomever is going through something like this or something different, YOU'RE NOT ALONE AND YOU'VE NEVER BEEN ALONE.
