To whom it may concern:

I've heard people say I wouldn't date/marry someone based on age, married before or takes care of someone 

He gave me Ruth 

Know this "Ruth"

Everyone wants a Ruth. One with values, works hard & a godly woman or man

But we forget Ruth didn't come alone, was married before(widowed), lost love, wasn't rich & nowhere near his age

We're asking God for a Spouse but skipping over certain people because of that

& Some are dating people but can't commit because of it.

The one for us might come with a parent or child, been through some things, nowhere near our age, very little money & it might not be their first marriage

Now I'm not saying just date anyone who has an elderly parent, child, widowed/divorced, been through it or way younger or older lol

I'm saying don't miss your blessings because of it.

Like Boaz: learn about that person. Make sure they are godly, hard working & have control of everything, especially their child.

& for that person! Make sure you have a reputation so good like Ruth that they can't help but to hear good things about you

So don't just dismiss people because of certain things

Because the thing we are allowing to push us away might be the thing that actually brought them closer to God just like Ruth. 

Because in Ruth words to her mother-in-law "your God is my God". The woman who gave her much advice

Still Isn't Better

To whom it may concern:

I was trying to fix my body & it started to hurt so I went back to the way I used to walk even though I knew it wasn't better for me.

He gave me the israelites again at the red sea again 

Know this "Still Isn't Better" look I know we talked yesterday about not going back but some us probably just hit another hurdle & are like I can't Lord

I heard the message yesterday but today not only is their a hurdle in my way like the red sea but now the enemy is after me and trying to attack me just like them

Lord I can't anymore. I give up & I can't go any further

But we can. Because we can remember the story. Not only did he make a way through the red sea but he crushed their enemies who tried to come after them

& just like them even though we can't see it he is making a way & we will go through safely but our enemies/past will get crushed behind us

So today get back up & keep going on your new walk knowing we will make it with the path for the enemy to follow us closed behind us.

Stay With Him

To whom it may concern:

I was thinking about how my football team sucks. I thought to myself man I should just change teams. Even though it was only one bad thing lol

He gave me the israelites when they were ready to change sides/teams and leave moses & go back to egypt even after all they saw that God had done

Know this "Stay With Him" Look the year just started & I know some of us are already ready to change sides/teams, turn around & go back to doing what we were doing.

We have been having a great time with the change but now one hurdle has come up and we are ready to give up

But don't. He has already shown us how much better life is with him in just the last few days.

We are happier, have more peace, & even hang around a better crowd. 

So let's stick with Christ, our pastor, our new church home & family & let's stand strong & say nor matter what I'm sticking with my team

It's A New Year

To whom it may concern:

Thinking of something I had to do later worrying about that for no dumb reason 

He gave me: Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.

Know this "It's a new year" We are not going to do the same worrying as we did last year in this year.

No more worrying about something 6 months down the road or at work/school or anywhere in 3 days which only causes us more stress & make us sick or sicker for no reason

& some can testify that worrying about something way down the line caused other issues or forgetting to do what they were supposed to do that day

We are going to focus on today & let tomorrow handle itself.

As a matter of fact we are not going to worry about things 10 minutes down the road. We are going to take things step by step

So, As we head to church today let's not worry about anything but know if God clothes the flowers like this which are here today & gone tomorrow how much will he clothes/take care of us!!!

Why Ask

To whom it may concern:

I was trying to figure something out & asked God to give me an answer & once again I immediately started trying to figure it out myself again without waiting anytime

He gave me: lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Know this "Why ask" We ask god for an answer about something but still try to answer it ourselves in our own way or time

We do not wait for him to provide the directions to solve the problem. 

Because we aren't praying for an answer but for agreement on what we want to do it

But how can God agree on a plan he didn't give us.

Then we get frustrated on how things turn out after we prayed about it 

But we always will if we keep leaning on our own understanding & not allowing the time for him to give us the plan

So let's do as the scripture says & not lean on our own understanding but acknowledge him & allow him to direct our path

So we will have true understanding without frustration

How In The World

To whom it may concern:

I was saying Lord this doesn't make sense. How is this going to work or how did that work last time. I know you can but but...

He gave me: For the foolishness of God is wiser than man's wisdom & when he asked job all those questions & he couldn't answer

know this: "How in the World" We make plans but what he does with them is wild to us

We think we need to do it one way & god flips it & does it a completely different way which we didn't even think about but is 10 times better

We try to date this person but he flipped it & we dated someone else who is nothing like anything we were searching for but is better than what we asked

We ask for a certain job but god took us somewhere we didn't/planning on going and randomly met someone who gave us the job of our dreams make us forget about that one

Planned to move somewhere better but he makes you stay & that place was the only place that survived the storm even though it was less protected

Need money for something & God sends us to the one who is always broke/stingy & they give us more than we need

& then all we can say is: WHAT? or HOW? lol

How He lines it up, changes someone's heart or how he puts us in the right spot at the right we will never make sense to us but obeying him & trusting him should

So, lets just trust that whatever he tells us to do & enjoy the process so we can how many more of those How in the world moments.

Not This Year

To whom it may concern:

I was struggling to do something & I had to go get help because it was to hard by myself

He gave me Moses again when he got help with governing the people

Know this "Not This Year" Look we are in a new new year & some of us are doing the same as we did last year & getting stressed out already trying to do it all alone

We have people just like last year in line to help but we are so controlive that we just won't let them help

Worrying what will happen if we let go instead of seeing what will happen if we trust God with the people he sends in our lives to help

But no more because in the name of Jesus we rebuke the I don't need anyone, I can do it by myself & I am an island by myself spirit

So, today let's pray & ask God for a plan, the right people to help us & to relinquish that controlive nature to him

& allow God to build us, our business & plans to a level no one could image

"Replaced, Lose & Humbled"

To whom it may concern:

I was thinking much of myself one day a while ago like these people can't do this thing with out me like I was the BBB the black bob barker & had all the winning numbers lol

He gave me people in the bible & Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought & Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you

Know this "Replaced, Lose & Humbled" It is nothing for God to put someone in the place where we are now

God can replace us in an instance. Don't believe me? Ask Saul & he will tell you about David. 

Or make us lose some power. Don't believe me? Ask Rehoboam & he will tell us how he lost half the kingdom

Or humble us. Don't believe that either? Ask Nebuchadnezzar & he will tell us how the grass tasted for 7 years

Yes we might be great at what we do but let's never get to the point when we think without us it won't go on

Especially if the place, thing or person were doing good before we came. 

So, today be humble before God, thankful for the gifts he has given us & walking in confidence but never arrogance
