So for 3 hours I’ve been listening to Malice Mizer and man the idea just sprung for this one.

Zenos Head for BJD

I wanted to share my Zenos BJD head here with you.

His model is from Dissidia and I found the .fbx file on DeviantArt.

This was when I desided instead of making a 3D printable figure I can just make a BJD :D. Bigger is better, you know?

I never touched 3D modeling before, so learning by doing. Easy!

3D Printed on a Neptune 4 Pro

0.12 mm, PLA

This model was made for resin printers, but it works also with filament. It was a pain to get the supports out and one of his hands broke of. So I threw the file in Meshmixxer, cut of the part i needed, printed it and glued it on. Problem solved :P

Ruby Carbuncle FFXIV Version, 3D Printed in PLA.

Both, the Carbuncle and Book stl, can be found on Thingsverse.

I edited both so the book can funktion as figure stand. I thought it was cute, cause it's getting summoned from a book, right?

PLA is a glow in the dark filament in red.

It is painted with UV hardening gel for nailart.

I also have an Amber Carbi in making, and Smaragd is planned.

While visiting my parents yesterday, my sister decided to surprise everyone with a pumpkin carving activity. We all got to pick our pumpkin, and I was really taken by this one that was all green except for one patch of orange. I actually wasn't even sure what to do with it first because of the sheer potential!

Sadly doubt the pumpkin will last until Halloween next week, but I was still pretty happy with how the whole thing turned out, considering I really only had a knife and spoon to try and do this with! They all thought I was nuts.

I think my most toxic trait as a Zenos enjoyer is wanting to 1v1 everyone who says that Zenos actively wants to kill his opponents

Like, completely disregarding that it is actively ignoring the text even in StB there (and that he consistently wants the WoL especially to live), he, uh, is written as having a desire for more the opposite to happen. Very, very consistently. His drive to live is solely linked to brief moments of pleasure-from-struggle and when that drops he explicitly wants to die so he can preserve the moment (and like. *looks at the end of 6.0* if he wanted to kill the WoL he would not be disappointed when they fall before the game allows it, nor would they have lived after given his will was strong enough to bring them back if they bite it). He wants struggle and lacks the ability to give enough of a shit to hold back if someone walks up and says they're going to go for his head.

Like, death is a side effect of what he's after, it's not the goal and he explicitly considers it a waste of life. Even fighting isn't the goal, the goal is to struggle, to need to put effort in. The WoL is just the only person to put him in that state as he currently is, hence his obsession.

Remembered I had a ffxiv blog, and I can use it to spread my horrible little theories onto the web.

(EW spoilers, including the tank role quests)

Here's my hot take:

Gridania is an Ascian plot.

Hear me out.

Gridania was founded when a person named Jorin arrived in Gelmorra, teaching the people to commune with the elementals and causing an exodus up onto the surface.

Before the EW tank quests name him as Jorin, he is called The Masked Emissary. His mask is what the wood wailer masks/the low level masks are based on. His children then become the first padjals.

So a masked emissary arrives out of nowhere to teach a struggling people powerful and strange magics, and has children with traits that mark them as not quite Normal Humans.

Who do we know that fit that bill?

(I know Emet-Selch is the one with the utterly enormous superpowered kids/grandkids, but it's clearly an Ascian thing)

But why would he do that? What is to be gained from teaching humans to commune with the elementals?

To stop Gelmorra from pulling a Ronka.

In the first we find the ruins of Ronka, a largely subterranean city-state in the shard's Black Shroud renowned for their stonework and warding magic.

Who used that magic to bind the Great Spirits and force them to sit in time out until they learned to behave, turning them from the tempramental and arbitrary bastards we know and loathe from the Source into allies for mankind.

A setback to be sure, but the First is slated for the flood of light anyway. Oh well!

But what if the eerily similar Gelmorra were to do the same on the much more important Source?

So instead, Elidibus does what ascians do best: he shows up and teaches them a new magic. The ability to speak with the Elementals. To negotiate with them. To aquiesce to their demands.

Make mankind subservient to them before they can tame them.
