I’m putting together a book of all the short comics I’ve drawn over the past year to have for sale at my spring conventions! Not sure what the title will be yet, but the uniting themes of all the stories seem to be Girls and Magic.

I drew this selkie comic really fast and it bounced all around tumblr which was cool, but the messy lettering and simple coloring bugged me so I cleaned it up a bit.

It's been a hot minute.

I just want to say that Slay the Princess is really, really good. As the first two screens note, it's a horror game and a love story, and it weaves the two together with such confidence and sincerity. Love interest is a real top tier Best Girl, and I really was just immediately sold on the romance.

Dawn of the Empire 4: The Day of Thunder

So, some people have probably been wondering why I've been gone so long. Part of it is hysterectomy recovery. I was dead on my feet for weeks. Another was depression. A third was ADHD.

But the fourth might be interesting to anyone who plays Legend of the Five Rings.

I'm going to be running a MMO-style Legend of the Five Rings forum game using 4th Edition rules, set in an alternate Dawn of the Empire setting where Shiba became Emperor (thanks to player choices). We're already 4 games in, and we're up to the First Day of Thunder, when the heroes of the Empire are about to confront the Champion of Jigoku for the first time.

The game will be held at The Day of Thunder Forum.

I'd be happy to share links to the first three games, as well, for more info. I also recommend joining the Fallenash Discord if you're interested.

Character Submission opens on the 15th, and the game starts on the 23rd.
