Supernatural S2 E17 - 'Heart' : Just a little comment on this episode.
That feeling, when you love a show so much and are so invested in the characters (so long as they are played by good actors, and Padalecki and Ackles most certainly are good actors) that when they go through something really painful, Niagara-sized waterfalls gush from your eyes and won't stop for like ten straight minutes. I LOVE this show so much. Only a show that's this great and that you truly love can have you itching to see the next episode, even when the one you just watched has you looking like a hyperventilating panda.
Anyways, onwards to Supernatural Season 2 Episode 18 I go!

Arghhhh!
(That's an excited 'Arghhhh', not an angry 'arghhhh'.)
It's done! It's done!! I can't believe it, I created it in like two hours after over a year of talking about it.. but it's done. (This post was written at 02:34am this Sunday morning, but I've queued it as well as posting it straight away so people will be more likely to see it.)
It's probably not going to have any posts on it for a couple of days, but if anyone would like to follow it anyway, here are the details.

See, told you it was a weird name! :D
I've not set up a facebook to go with it yet, but I will let you know if I do. Pretty sure I'm not going to though because, in my experience, tumblr users are lovely and unless you seek them out you're not likely to find a nasty tumblr users (though unfortunately, I'm sure they exist), the format of tumblr seems to keep unpleasant experiences to a minimum and people who use tumblr (yeah, you guys!) seem to be more pleasant and respectful of fellow tumblrers. Twitter has trolls, but it's pretty easy to avoid them, whereas I'm personally not much of a fan of Facebook because it seems to be the breeding ground of the trolls.
A few comments on the new blog-
How will it be different from this one? It's still a personal blog but it will be more formal that this one, meaning that unlike with this one, I won't be constantly reblogging other people's posts (Yay!) and I will be writing my posts myself. I might reblog occasionally, but it will be kept to a minimum.
What's the new blog going to be about? I'll be writing about generally anything and everything I feel like writing about, because I do want to eventually become an author and freelance writer. I love writing and it's something I've always been good at, but I am very out of practise from temporarily giving up on my dream (Not cool, people take it from me, if you have a dream, chase it!) and not writing extensively for years. So essentially I'll be writing posts and articles, writing personal posts and updates and also writing about my progress in becoming a professional author and writer. Also, once I replace my broken memory card, I'll have the option of taking photo's to upload.
What is the layout like? Take a look here! There aren't any posts just yet (unless you're reading a while after I posted this). It's a very simple, professional looking layout that I think is easy to navigate. It's called Minimalist and is available free from Tumblr's pre-made layout selection. Even though I have a college qualification in IT that required me to make a website from scratch and code it all myself, I really don't want to be stressing with all that (though I won't rule out coming back to that option in the future). Plus, for me at least, coding takes time and since I've umm'ed and ahh'ed about this for over a year, it's better for now to just use a template and get on with it.
Why start a new blog? To be honest, I'm not happy with the blog I've already got for several reasons. Firstly, I always seem to reblog other people and don't post my own posts. Secondly, I don't feel passionately about this blog, possibly because it's not really got a purpose. Thirdly, I wanted to start completely from scratch. I see my current blog as a learner blog and hope I can make this one much better. Finally, I wanted a blog to help me with my writing, to give me a platform to practise and to use as an online portfolio to show to possible employers in the future. Also, with this blog, I'm going to follow writing blogs such as WritingQuestionsAnswered, which I love, and discover others.
Why the name? One of the things i've struggled with most in creating this new blog, is the name. My mum and I had a talk about it and I asked for advice. She said that I should pick something that pops into my head at random, because an odd name will be more likely to stick in people's heads and I can always change the name later. 'Emily Elbows' popped into my head when she said that. I'm the youngest of six kids and when I was little, I used to get on the sofa to cuddle either one of my siblings or my parents (I was a very cuddly kid). I was so small that I'd end up sinking into the sofa cushions if I was there for too long, and I'd have to elbow the person I was cuddling to pull myself up and out said cushions, which usually resulted in them yowling and commenting on my little bony elbows. That's the long and the short of it!
Why write this massive text post just to explain this new blog? Well to be honest, I do feel like I need to explain myself and the blog because I've talked about it for so long, promised it'd get made and it'd be better and it never got done. Also, I thought a little explanation might encourage the followers of this blog to follow EmilyElbows, if they liked the sound of it. I won't be offended if you guys don't follow it though, to be honest I know this will be a great blog that I'll enjoy thoroughly even if I don't have any followers!
So, if you didn't read this post I totally understand, it is a very long post and maybe you were afraid you'd die of thirst before you got to the end of it? Maybe? Haha!
If you did read all of this though, you're ace and I really appreciate it.

I'd just like to say that the reason I've suddenly got the inspiration to make this new blog and chase my dream of becoming a writer, is because of this lady.
Her name is Gina and I started following her tumblr recently because I realised that nearly all the articles I loved on HelloGiggles were written by her.
I must admit that after finding her blog, I ended up reading back through about a years worth of posts! (Hope you don't find that too stalker-ish Gina! XD )
Just wanted to say thank you for that, I love your blog and I hope I can become a great writer and blogger like you! :)

Hey!
Oh, hello there, gentle readers..
In the words of Will and Grace's Jack Mcfarland- BIG NEWS!
I finally have a name for my new blog, and unlike all the others I've pondered on this year, this one isn't taken in any variation by another tumblr user, and isn't the name of any other blog I can find in a google search.
It is a pretty weird name, but to be honest I've seen MUCH weirder blog names and a lot of the blogs I know of that get a lot of readers have odd names.
I'm not going to reveal it just yet, because although I'm pretty sure no one else would want this name and I'm sure none of the people who read this blog would steal it, you never know what strange and possibly mean people there are out there and I can't guarantee that one of them wouldn't create a blog under that name just to piss me off. As fellow internet users, I'm sure you all know what I'm talking about- am I right?!
So I'm going to be working on the new blog tonight and tomorrow since I'm got some days off, and should be able to update soon! Glad I've finally got my arse in gear and am going to get this sorted, since I've been wanting to get it done and have been talking about it for over a year now!

You can write about kittens wearing tights and I guarantee someone out there will find your words and ideas so repulsive and idiotic, that they will dedicate an entire essay...
