Rosé woke up early in the morning due to the excitement of traveling back to LA after the last time she went there for Coachella as a member of Blackpink, but this time she was going as Roseanne Park maybe for work but also for enjoyment. Her excitement couldn’t be contained inside her, she was oozing energy, this showed in her step as she was skipping throughout the halls towards the bathroom while humming, filling the dorm with her energy while all the other members were still in Morpheus arms.

After having a shower and getting dressed, she made her way back to her room once again humming, on the way she passed Jennie’s room (her travel mate) and saw that the cat-eyed girl was still sleeping instead of getting ready for their flight. She ventured inside Jennie’s room with an objective in mind waking her up without getting hurt which wasn't an easy task.

She tiptoed thru the room towards the bed, once she reached her destination Rosé proceeded to try and ease Jennie out of her slumber by gently shaking her body, but this proved futile as Jen just turned her body to the other side to avoid the disturbance.

Seeing that being gentle wasn’t the answer Rosé took out the big guns and started poking Jennie all over her body and repeating over and over “Jen wake up. Jen it’s time to rise”, increasing the volume of her voice with each repetition.

After a couple of minutes of being poked, tickled, and having her ears bleeding by the volume, Jennie decided to wake up to stop the harassment being imparted to her being. “Ugh” moaned Jen “Stop the harassment Rosie, I’m already awake” mumbled while stretching to get rid of the sleep on her extremities.

By the time the clock marked 9 o’clock both girls were ready and just waiting for their manager to come and pick them up to take them to the airport, their other members were still presumed asleep oblivious to the ruckus caused by Rosé’s last-minute preparations for the trip.

The sound of steps kept getting louder coming from the direction of the rooms, soon after two sleepy bodies emerged from the hallway and took a seat beside them on the sofa immediately snuggling against their bodies before breaking the silence that had made its way into the room.

“Hey Jendeukie, Chaeng…” a yawn interrupted Jisoo’s sentence “when are you going to leave?”, but the question made Jennie to shake her off her arm and put a pout on her face, “Are you telling me to leave already” shot back Jen with hurt clear on her words.

Jisoo was quick to reassure her that wasn’t the case and cuddle the cat-eyed girl, “It isn’t like that Jen, I just want to know how much time left I have to snuggle with the cutest girl before you have to go” she finishes her statement with a kiss on her forehead, action which bought a gummy smile on Jennie’s face.

“You’re such a sap Chu, but they’re picking us up around 9:45, so we have a bit more than half an hour worth of cuddles left” replied Jennie snuggling closer to Jisoo’s body letting go a little hum of content but their moment of relaxation was interrupted by a gagging sound coming from their younger friends.

“Oh gosh, guys, there’s innocent eyes present and you are being so X-rated” retorted Lisa and covered Chae’s eyes, the latter reacted by doing the same action to Lisa’s eyes, after a couple of seconds of silence they erupted in laughter making Jennie irritated by their antics, but soon the four were laughing enjoying one of their last moments together for the foreseeable future.

The next 30 minutes flew by so quickly and the four had watery expressions, caused by the departure of half of their team. The younger ones were the most affected, not wanting to let the other go, they had to be pried from each other’s arms by Jensoo one pulling Lisa into the house and the other pulling Rosé towards the elevator.

The ride towards the airport was filled with quiet sobs coming from Rosé’s being, Jennie ended up cuddling the aussie in an attempt to calm her down before arriving at the airport so as to not rise gossip from the fans or paparazzi that they would encounter. Fortunately, Rosé was able to calm down as they arrived at the airport, but as an extra measure for their security, the girls were escorted privately thru the facilities to avoid all the commotion.

After being checked in they were guided to a private waiting room to rest while the plane was ready for boarding, they decided to spend this time drinking some cold beverages from Starbucks and some light snacks for Chaeng since all the crying drained her energy.

Posterior to having boarded and the plane taking off, both girls proceeded to go back to Morpheus' arms due to the longevity of the flight they had just got into.

Three hours into the flight Jennie woke up thanks to the sound of crying coming from somewhere within the walls of the plane, she adjudicates it to the toddler she saw boarding after them prior because she couldn’t do anything she tried to fall back asleep, but her brain registered the cries more thoroughly, recognizing them as coming from the seat beside her more specifically Chaeyoung’s seat.

This realization made her get rid of all the slumber from her body and analyze the situation, getting concerned as her brain finally woke up fully, turning to assess the situation and stop Chaeyoung’s cries. “Chae, are you okay? What happened? Why the tears?” utter the Korean girl trying to see if Rosé had any visible injuries but the search was null, but this got the Aussie’s attention who still had crocodile tears pouring from her eyes.

Chaeyoung kept sobbing but tried to express the reason for her tears, “U-unnie ‘am sca-scared” said while rubbing at her eyes and plastering a frown on her face, this swamped Jennie’s heart with worry, so she questions as to the why of the fear, “P-panes sca-scady ‘nnie, no wanna be he-hewe”.

This information was new to the Korean since Rosé hadn't mentioned it before on their other flights, the only thing left to do was to comfort her due to her inability to get them off the plane at the moment, so she hugged the Aussie and started rocking both of their bodies side to side while muttering words of comfort “Everything’s going to be okay Chaeng, nothing bad is going to happen to you while I’m here”.

The only response coming from Chaeyoung was a muffled “Pwomise unnie?” followed by more force being put into their embrace as the plane hit some turbulence, “I promise Rosie” was muttered before a kiss was placed on Chaeyoung’s forehead, melting most of the worry that was suffocating her.

Jennie kept rocking both of them, but a thought kept plaguing her mind, why was Chaeng acting like this all of the sudden, she was quite childlike as much as Lisa but at the moment she resembled more a toddler than a carefree young adult.

Posterior to 40 minutes of reassurance Chaeyoung let go of Jennie and resituated on her seat once again but never letting go of her hold on her unnie’s hand, afraid she was going to disappear magically and leave her all alone on the scary plane where all the mean adults go throw mad expressions her way.

The only reason for Chaeyoung being seated on her own seat was that over the intercoms the crew had announced that it was mealtime, and of course, she can’t miss that important time of the trip, which also happened to be the only enjoyable moment of the whole flight so far as she could think of.

The food that was served by the crew appeared so yummy in Chaeyoung’s eyes, they were given bulgogi with rice, dongchimi noodles, and bibimbap, with their choice of drink that could range from imported wine, champagne, cola, water (plain and sparkling) to even some juice. When the kind stewardess came to give them their drinks, she was quick to make her doubts present, “Do you haf’ beew by ‘ny chance?” said Chaeng tilting her head.

“Yes Miss, we have different brands, such as: Hite, Terra, Cass, Kloud. Which one would you like?”

Hearing this made Jennie turn her head quickly towards the stewardess and order the drinks for both of them, “Miss can we have some cola for me and a juice for her, please and thank you” told her Jen with a smile as to not appear even ruder, but of course Chaeng made her discontent know to Jen, “But unnie I want beew fo’ da kimchi” whined the Aussie while crossing her arms. Trying to reason with Chaeng prove to be harder than imagined, “Roseanne Park, you’ve got two choices either juice or cola. Choose one or you’ll be drinking water and not having dessert” she told her, but Chaeyoung wasn’t having it and whined again “Beew, I wan’ beew” wailed while kicking her legs and flailing her arms.

“Park Chaeyoung that’s enough! This is your last chance, choose either the juice or cola. And apologize to the kind lady for your attitude” finished Jennie while providing a look that meant there wasn’t any room left for discussion. Sensing that Jennie was serious, she turned to the stewardess and asked for her drink “Can I haf’ a stawbedy juice pwease Miss, and sowwy fo’ making a ruckus” she finished with a small bow to better express her apology.

“It’s all forgiven yeobo, just listen to your Unnie next time, ok?” said sweetly the stewardess while giving them their respective drinks.

“Now behave Chaeng, I don’t want to have to scold you again,” told her Jennie while starting to eat the food in front of her, from the corner of her eye she noticed that Chaeng wasn’t touching her food but decided to ignore it for the moment in order to eat. When she finished her food, she took notice that Rosé’s food was still intact and asked for the reason, “’am not hungwy unnie” answered with a wavering voice the younger girl. Knowing she was surely lying due to her never saying no to food Jen proceeded to scoop some food from Chaeng’s plate and offer it to the girl with a silly voice “The food train is coming! Next stop Chaengie’s mouth! Choo-choo”, that made the Aussie’s spirit to lift, so she allowed Jennie to continue feeding her between giggles on account of her unnie’s silliness.

With their food finished and their tummies filled both girls laid back into their seats to relax and digest their food better, the relaxing moment didn’t last for long as Chaeyoung’s long-forgotten fear resurfaced due to not having a distraction anymore, luckily her unnie was beside her to keep her grounded and prevent the bad thoughts away. But even if Jennie was beside her the fear was still present and they were barely entering the second third of their flight, many things could happen on the remaining 7 or so hours of the flight and those thoughts would just not leave her alone, fogging everything else.

Jennie sensing that Rosé would surely have another crying fit if she didn’t do something quick proceeded to grab her and move her into her own seat to have a better grip for a hug in order to calm down the already shaking girl who was just seconds away from letting the waterworks free, in the time that took for Rosé to calm down enough to have her full attention Jennie kept thinking in what could they do so she wouldn’t have her head on the plane and the scariness this carried with it. The solution she was able to come with was for both of them to watch a movie together. They'd do this while cuddling on her seat so Chaeyoung could have her mind on the movie but at the same time be able to have contact with her body to reduce the stress and anxiety.

“Hey Chaeng” called Jennie in a soft voice, “would you like to watch a movie with unnie? You can choose it and we’ll even cuddle while watching it, how does that sound?” she asked while keeping rubbing circles on Rosé’s back, whose face and whole body was buried against Jennie’s chest trying to get all the possible contact and warm out of her unnie’s body. Her response came a few seconds later in the form of a tiny nod against her chest and a pair of curious eyes looking at her, she went ahead and reposition both of their bodies with Rosé between her legs and her back pressed against her chest. All this so they would be in a comfier position to start their movie watching, once both of them were comfy enough Jennie put play to Chaeng’s selection, “Beauty and the Beast”.

At the last few minutes of the movie Chaeyoung finally lost her battle against sleep, Jennie noticed about halfway that the Aussie was nodding off but kept fighting against it in order to keep watching the movie, once she was sure Chaeng wouldn’t wake up if she moved her, she laid her down on the seat and situated herself next to the sleeping girl's body and cuddle her before she too joining her off to dreamland.

They slept throughout the rest of the flight only waking up to have their next meal before the landing of the plane. Once they had arrived at LAX (Los Angeles International Airport) and gather all their things they were taken to their hotel where they proceeded to get cleaned up after the 12+ hour flight they had just experienced. With Rosé still acting ’toddlerish’ the ordeal proved to be quite hard for Jennie, who had to get Chaeyoung showered and with clean clothes, before she was able to do it for herself, once it was Jennie’s turn to take a shower Chaeng started acting out again.

“NO ‘NNIE, NO GO. ‘TAY WIF ROSIE” exclaimed the younger girl while tugging at Jennie’s arm towards the bed making her sit down, if it were any other instance she would’ve indulged Rosé, but she felt grimy, tired and really needed the shower to help relieve the stress from the trip so she made a deal with Rosé “Hey Rosie, how about you choose a movie to watch while I take a shower?”, but the response wasn’t the one expected, “NO, no wanna see ‘nother movie. Wanna be wif unnie” whined the blonde while making puppy eyes and pouting.

“The pouty face won’t work this time, Rosie. But how about this, you choose a place to go or activity to do together while I take a shower and the rest of the day, I’m all yours” after getting an exciting positive answer she went to finally take her shower.

When she got out, she found a Rosie jumping from excitement, literally jumping on the bed, who had the amazingest coolest funniest plan for the day, her words not Jennie’s. Apparently, her plan included going to Disneyland to meet all the princesses and eat so much ice cream; she persuaded her to drop the visit to Disneyland under the premise of Lisa and Jisoo, being sad and feeling left out, this amazingly make her agree right away, so they settle for going out for ice cream and a visit to the Disney store instead, as their plan for the day.

The rest of their trip overseas turned out amazing, doing so many different things and meeting lots of amazing people, with Rosie regressing (as Jennie later found out was the right word to describe it) when they were together and had a bit more privacy.

Soon it was already time to get back to Korea, this time with a fully adult Rosé due to the anxiety of going back home to Lisa and Jisoo with a new facet of her discovered. Jennie was feeling just like Rosé, anxious after what Lisoo could think about this new phase of her and Chaeyoung’s relationship.

The flight back home was both uneventful and smooth, the time seemed to be on double speed because after they knew they were back in Korea waiting to be picked up and taken back to the dorm. The ride back home was the most nerve-wracking of their lives as they were anxious to see their friends once again, once they arrived and got their respective luggage they went to their apartment at a snail pace, trying to postergate their arrival as long as they could.

As soon as Jennie and Rosé put a foot on the threshold the anxiety melted away for the moment, being replaced by excitement at seeing their friends once again after 3 weeks of them being overseas.

“Mandu! Pasta! Welcome back to Korea” said Jisoo hugging them, but Rosé got out from the hug quickly as she felt Lego rub against her leg just as Lisa came forward too, “Welcome back Jen” said the Thai while giving her a quick hug.

Hearing Lisa speak Rosé turned her head quickly in the direction of the voice before yelling “LALISA!” and running towards Lisa, seeing this, Lisa yelled back “CHAEYOUNG!”, getting herself ready for the oncoming hug and posterior jumping from both parties emanating joy at getting their best friend back.

“It seems they both missed each other a lot don’t you think so Jendeuk?” said Jisoo throwing her arm around Jennie’s shoulders, “Yeah, there were times where I thought Rosie would die without her buddy. But she seemed to enjoy herself back in LA” answered Jennie snuggling herself further in Jisoo’s embrace.

“Now that you mention it, how was your time there? Did you have lots of fun? And more importantly, did you miss me lots?” smirked Jisoo at the last question, but the response made the anxiety resurface in Jennie’s body, “It was awesome and well spent our time there, we sure had lots of fun, and of course I missed you lots, who wouldn’t miss your cute snores… But I need to talk to you about something that happened at the time that we were there. We realized something about one of our younger members” expressed Jennie with worry in her voice.

It was the morning of the last day of the month, meaning that it was Halloween Day, Nayeon and Jeongyeon were peacefully sleeping in their bed enjoying the warmth it provided, that was until the door to the room opened and a little voice spoke.

"Mama, hungwy" tiredly said the voice before its owner sat on top of Nayeon's legs poking at her face in an attempt to get the older one awake. Nayeon knew that if she didn’t get up in the next couple of seconds the poking motion wouldn’t stop and the voice would wake everyone else in the house.

Stretching to get rid of the sleep made the other inhabitants of the bed roll away and whine, ignoring the dramatics Nay picked up the little girl that was located in her legs and took her to the kitchen placing her in the highchair, dragging it closer, and putting a toy for the girl to distract herself.

“Okay Tzu, how does oatmeal sound?” asked Nay turning to the baby who was entranced with the toy, who quickly nodded and muttered "Fwuits p'ease" before going back to her toy.

Nayeon started to prepare the oatmeal making sure to keep an eye on the baby, a couple minutes later came Jeongyeon with Chaeyoung on her left hip, Dahyun on her right hip, and Jihyo grabbing the back of her shirt following with her eyes closed.

Jeong deposited each girl on their corresponding chair with a booster seat, Chaeng's chair had a tray that locked into the table so she wouldn't escape without eating, after getting the three girls situated she went to the kitchen to help Nayeon with the meal prepping.

While Nay made enough oatmeal for the household, Jeong cut diverse fruits to garnish their bowls, upon finishing cooking they put the oatmeal in bowls and placed the corresponding one in front of each girl, MiSaMo had joined at some point and moved Tzuyu's highchair into its rightful position.

The rest of the morning went by calmly, the girls spent it watching some Halloween movies and basically just chilling under the covers in the big bed (also known as NaJeong's king-sized bed).

That was until the peace was broken by the sound of the doorbell, Hyo ran to answer the door followed by Mina and Chaeyoung, Jeongyeon ran after them since they shouldn't open the door on their own. But by the time she reached them, they had already answered the door and were hugging their visitors, on the other side of the door stood the Blackpink girls, Jeong was quick to usher them inside also giving them a quick hug before calling for the rest of the family.

Once all 13 of them had greeted each other they sat down in the living room while they planned how they would sit to eat lunch, the Blackpink girls were invited so all the kids could get ready at the same time, and that way they could go to the party together.

They brought out Chaeng's high chair and placed it next to Jeong's seat and Tzu's high chair was next to Nay's seat, also they brought out a little table where the 97' liners sat and the rest sat on the normal table. Once everyone was seated they started eating the lunch that Jennie and Jisoo had bought, the meal was a pleasant one and everyone was enjoying spending time together, that was until JenSoo started whispering between each other and giggling.

“Hey tell us what's the joke, we also wanna laugh,” said Jeongyeon looking directly at JenSoo's way, but they only let out choked laughs, "Yeah tell us what's so funny girls" begged Nayeon while she kept feeding Tzuyu, and herself.

“D-did y-you had an-an ex-exciting night?” asked Soo between laughs, but NaJeong only looked at her confused "What are you talking about? What do you mean by 'an exciting night'?" questioned Nay giving the stink eye.

"Just that you might had an exciting night judging by the state of Jeongyeon's neck" chuckled Jennie pointing to a forming bruise on the ostrich's neck, everyone turned to see what Jennie had pointed out, and their eyes bulged out.

Indeed there was a bruise forming on Jeong's neck, Nayeon wasn't the cause behind it and she was getting mad at how it came into existence. Jeongyeon's life was hanging by a thread if she didn't explain how she had gotten that bruise, the panic was taking over until she remembered that Hyo had slipped into bed with them.

"It was Hyo she's the one that gave this bruise!!" blurted out Jeong looking frantically at her girlfriend, Couldn't you think of a better excuse said in a fake whisper Jennie, "It's true!! She slept with us and she loves bitting to soothe herself" yelled out Jeong.

"Yeah... I remember seeing her biting your collarbone. Sorry Jeongyeon" mentioned Nayeon once her ire went down, hugging the younger girl and peppering her with kisses. 

After laughing it out all the girls started preparing their costumes for the night, they started with the older girls while the babies took a nap so they wouldn’t be cranky when they went to celebrate the day.

The first girl to be ready was Momo, she had chosen to dress like Barbie from the Live Action movie, the outfit she chose was the pink checkered dress, and the adults helped her do her hair and makeup.

Next was Sana who decided to dress like Hermione, she got her Hogwarts uniform on and sat while Mama and Jennie Imo did her hair, they had to give it lots of volume so the process was lengthy.

After that came the 97’ liners who decided on a group costume, each one choosing an element from the Avatar: The Last Airbender world.

Mina dressed like Azula, wearing the regal Fire Nation robes like the princess with the headpiece and everything, the final touch was some metallic blue streamers tied to her wrists to simulate the blue fire.

Jihyo decided to wear the clothes of the Water Tribe just like Katara, her Mommy did her tiny braids and placed the beads in there, like Mina she tied blue and white streamers on her hand.

Lisa dressed like Toph, her clothes were the characteristic green of the Earth Kingdom, the thing she loved the most was that she wasn't forced to wear shoes... or so she thought, her Mama told her she was wearing some sandals to go out.

And Rosie chose the Air Nomads, the other girls had jokingly told her she was meant to shave her head for the costume but she told them that wasn't going to happen, her Mommy Jisoo helped her draw her arrow tattoos.

The first member of the School Meal Club that got dressed was Dahyun, she had chosen to dress like Gabby from ‘Gabby’s Dollhouse’, and just like Sana, her hair had to be styled to give it some volume. The finishing touches were the cat ear headband and a Pandy Paws plush.

While Nayeon and Jeongyeon dressed Dubu, Jennie and Jisoo got into their own costumes, and the older girl chose their couple costume to be My Melody and Kuromi, to no surprise since it's a well-known fact that Soo loves Sanrio.

Lastly, NaJeong along with ChaeTzu went to get into their costumes, the 4 took around half an hour to come out from the main bedroom, but the wait was worthy, the tiny family came out as 'the Heelers' from Bluey. It had been a request from the babies who lately were so into the blue puppy show and thought about that perfect group costume.

Once everyone was ready and had their candy bag, they got into their cars and went towards the JYP building where they were having a Halloween party and indoor trick-or-treating hosted by the JYP family.

The night ended with a huge pile of kids passed out in the middle of a practice room after the night of fun they had, there were Twice, Blackpink, Stray Kids, (G)-IDLE, BTS, ITZY, NMIXX, and many more groups kids passed out from the sugar rush.

Fireflies - ChaeNnie

"Rosie and Jennie had an outing to the museum, there was a special tour for kids and they went to it. Rosie was ecstatic about it and was running all around watching everything, also trying to participate in all the activities. Something that made the day even more special was that the guide called her Princess, Mama bought her a new night light and a new plush friend."

Going to a kids' exposition hosted by the museum hadn't been what Jennie had planned for the day. Nevertheless, here she was tailing a 1.68-meter-tall toddler running all around the exhibition hall trying to look at everything that was displayed.

Rosie had come to Jennie early in the morning telling her all about this amazing place she had seen while scrolling through Instagram, after telling the toddler off for getting into social media she proceeded to look into what Rosie had seen. 

After spending a couple of minutes analyzing the post she found that it was an interactive exhibition hosted by the Seodaemun Museum of Natural History, aimed at kids from toddler age to early teens, of course, all the family members could enter but the activities were more on the mild side so the little ones could interact better with it.

Before agreeing to take her, Jennie made a quick call to the activities coordinator and asked if Rosie could enter, just like she had already read they told her that persons of all ages were welcome. Of course, Jennie knew this but she wanted to know if Littles could participate in the activities with the guide, she let the coordinator know this and was told that she indeed could but it was a special scheduled time.

Jen was a little upset thinking that they were segregating their community, but she was quickly told that wasn't the case and that it was just so that all the kids would have a better experience based on their age. They said the Littles were welcome at any time but that the time they had told her was an all-regressors guided tour since some activities got props and crafts that could be worn, and they needed to be bigger for the Littles.

Happy with the explanation she told Rosie that they were going to the museum that afternoon, with that exciting news Rosie went to her room to plan what she was wearing for their outing, and she settled on a brown tee and white flowery dress set that was gifted to her by Mama's eomma.

Jennie also got dressed before preparing Rosie's backpack for her outing, packing some Pull-Ups in case they were needed, some juice boxes, bags of snacks, a couple of empty sippy cups, a change of clothes, a package of wet wipes, a bib since Rosie eats very messily, and a pacifier with its clip inside a plastic bag to keep it clean.

When both were ready she called the toddler over, to help her get into her shoes, on their way out she grabbed sweaters for both of them in case the day got more chilly, once at the car she buckled Rosie into her car seat and put on some music to keep the mood on their trip. Not even 10 minutes into the car ride Rosie fell asleep, letting out soft snores that made Jen chuckle at the cuteness, it took another 30 minutes to reach their destination.

Parking the car Jennie made her way to unbuckle the toddler, shaking her gently to wake her up, "Cheonsa it's time to wake up. We've arrived at the museum" quietly said the elder quietly to not scare the toddler. Stretching to get rid of the sleep Rosie got out of the car and took Mama's hand, the sleep didn't fully go away until she saw the guide that was giving all the kids a cardboard crown.

Tugging at her Mama’s hand to get her attention, "Mama! Mama! Look the crowns, me wanna one. Can we get one p'ease!" Rosie yelled showing her puppy eyes, giggling at the cuteness Jennie gave her permission to go ask for one once they have their wristbands on.

Once she was given the green light, Rosie ran towards the guide and stood in front of all the children waiting to be noticed, she stood there gathering the confidence to ask for the crown, when she heard "Omo!! Gongjunim, would you like a crown?" asked the guide and helped her put on her crown, when she had the crown on the guide told her "You're neomu yeppeuda!".

Soon the tour started, it was Rosie and about 12 more kids with their caregivers, the guide at all times directed their explanations to the kids letting them participate as much as possible. 20 minutes into the tour they arrived at an interactive pavilion, all the kids were excited at being able to touch everything that was surrounding them and Rosie was between them running all around trying to watch and touch everything.

That’s how Jennie found herself running behind the toddler, yelling after her to get her to stay in the elder’s range of vision, “Rosie lamb! Please don’t run, Mama needs to see you at all times!!”, but it seemed that Rosie wasn't paying attention to anything other than getting in on the fun with the rest of the kids.

“They seemed hypnotized, my snookums could never" exclaimed one of the other caregivers, which kid was the most crazy one, Jennie couldn't say the same, she knew her kid was wild everyday, some caregivers agreed with her. The kids finally stopped when the guide called for them, and that's how the rest of the tour proceeded going to the normal exhibition and finishing at the exterior pavilion where they made different crafts, one of them butterfly wings.

Of course the exit was through the gift shop, as soon as they stepped into it Rosie went wild browsing through all the shelves, the toddler was kin on getting everything that she set eyes on. "Nabi, we can't get everything. You can get only one thing, ok?" said Jennie getting next to the little girl.

"Mama! Mama! Can me get this!? P'ease!!" asked the toddler girl holding a nightlight, Jennie said yes and let her get another thing from the store, Rosie choose a otter plush and went to the counter to pay for the things.

By the time they arrived home Rosie had fallen asleep, “Cheonsa, we’ve arrived let's get you inside and ready for bed" mentioned Jennie leading the toddler girl inside the house, she gave the girl a quick bath and dressed her into pajamas.

Jennie tucked Rosie in and turned off the lights ready to let the girl rest when she heard her tiny voice, "Mama, night light, please" the toddler asked for. Jennie went back into the room and opened the box where the night light was, it was shaped like a jar with fireflies inside it.

Once the light was on, Jennie placed it next to the bed and finally left the room, not before planting a kiss on the toddler's forehead and whispering "Sweet dreams nae byeol-ah".

Sweater Weather - MiHyo

"Mina and Jihyo decided to spend a day together by going to the mall for a while, in there they were going to the arcade, had some lunch, and maybe browse through the stores to find something cute. At one point the noise from the arcade was replaced by the drip-drop of rain through the ceiling, Mina got so excited since she loves the rain."

notes ─ This is for the Sweater & Rainy Day prompt, this is sorta joined to the Binnie story, in there we saw Mina and Jihyo going out, so this is what they did while hanging out.

Mina was standing outside of Jihyo's Mercedes, waiting for the older girl to come out of the house and finally be able to go hang out - it’s been a while since they hung out just the two of them, without supervision or little kids tagging along - just a few moments later the sound of the front door was heard by Mina and she got excited.

When she heard the door unlock she quickly got into the passenger seat, putting her bag at her feet and buckling herself in, Hyo was more normally paced in getting into the driver's seat, but soon enough she turned it on and gave Mina full control of the music for the ride.

The ride to the mall wasn't a short one but it passed quickly since both girls were animatedly talking about all the things that they would do once they arrived. Once Hyo parked the car near one of the entrances Mina was quick to get out of the car and go to Hyo's side to make her walk fast, the penguin girl was focused on getting the most of her time at the arcade.

As soon as they stepped into the arcade Mina went to buy some game cards for them to use, meanwhile, Hyo texted Jeongyeon to let her know that they were already at the mall, it took the Japanese girl less than 5 minutes to come back saying “I've bought us the best deal they had, this is wristbands with 300 credits each and 50 physical tokens to spend. If we show them our wristbands at the food station we can get them larger without extra charge and some games give us double points" gushed Mina with a glimmer in her eyes.

They played a few rounds of skee ball, battled in the basketball machines, joined forces in shooting games, and hit several jackpots, only about half of their credits were gone but all the fun opened their appetites so they went to buy some snacks. It took around 10 minutes for their food to arrive and boy did it look delicious, the waiter served them a plate of nachos, a basket of fries, a cup of ramen for each, and 2 milkshakes, one chocolate, and the other strawberry.

The moment the waiter turned around they attacked the food, all their food was shared between the two, exchanging their milkshakes every so often to have the whole experience. "You really like the food don't you Ji?" asked Mina with a few giggles escaping her mouth, "Yesh, It tastes sho good" responded Jihyo with a mouthful "Why did you ask that?" questioned Ji staring at Mina, "You have a perpetual frown on your face, it's a clear sign that you are enjoying it" answered finally letting her laugh fully come out.

After they finished their mini feast, they went back to playing until all their credits and tokens were gone, once the moment came they combined the tickets won and decided on a prize for both. Their big prize was a bungeoppang maker, and each got the opportunity to choose another medium-sized prize, Mina picked a box of LEGO, Jihyo a board game, and each girl got a little plush.

They went back to the table they had previously occupied to see if it was doable to carry everything until it was time to go home or if it was better to go put them in the car, analyzing the dimensions of the things they decided that it was better if they put them on the trunk of the car.

Mina stopped in her tracks when they were getting closer to the exit, "Mina, are you okay? Why did you stop?" asked Ji when suddenly the Japanese put a finger to her lips and whispered, "Shh, can you hear that?" putting a hand to her ear. Jihyo tried to listen to what the other girl was listening to when Mina yelled, "It's raining!! Let's go see" grabbing the elder’s hand and pulling her outside.

Both girls got outside into the rainy weather, Ji was thankful that only a few drops of rain were falling so they would not get drenched, after quickly putting their things inside the trunk it was Ji's turn to grab Mina's hand and pull her back to the safety of the mall entrance. Once they were safe from getting wet Ji let go of Mina’s hand, the younger girl proceeded to cross her arms and pout, "I wanted to see the rain!" whined the now more regressed girl stomping her feet to show her discontent.

It was clear to Jihyo that Mina had regressed further than before, both girls had already regressed since they woke up but they were just back into their teens, now Mina was more in the child zone.

“I know that you love watching the rain, but we don’t have sweaters and we’ll get sick. So let’s go find some warmer clothes and then will watch the rain. How about that?” explained Ji hugging Mina by the shoulders and going towards the stores to find sweaters for both of them. "Okay, let's go and get sweaters. But if you don't keep your promise I'll make sure that you will regret it" stated Mina throwing a sweet smile, an action that made the thing she just said even creepier, and just like she hadn't just threatened her Mina kept walking and taking the elder's hand.

The quest to find their sweaters was not an easy one, some were super itchy, others too toddlerish, not soft enough, too ugly, just not what they wanted. They went from store to store without having luck finding something they liked, they almost admitted their defeat and just bought any sweater they found, the last 2 stores left were not exactly to their liking since they were where Mama and Mommy bought their clothes for when they were in toddler space.

Luckily they were able to find sweaters that they liked and even some more clothes in one of those stores, they got out of the store each one with a bag filled with clothes, and of course the sweaters. Mina's sweater was a white and beige one, with some zigzags and hearts as the design, while Jihyo's one was a white one with red strips on the bottom half of it, once they got into the sweater Ji guided them to a little special place.

Mina kept whining the whole way there, trying to get Ji to tell her where they were going, suddenly they found themselves in front of a cafe, "Ji you said we were going to watch the rain not coming to eat" whined Mina stomping her foot and huffing, "We are, I swear just trust me" responded Jihyo saying something to the waitress.

The waitress took them to a little terrace area and gave them the menus, telling them that she would come back in a few minutes to take their order, "See, I told you we were going to see the rain. Just that we're doing it while keeping ourselves dry" said Jihyo browsing the menu, Mina did the same thing, throwing some glances to outside the terrace to watch the rain fall.

When the food came it made the moment so perfect, having a warm meal paired with cups of warm drinks and having a conversation with someone so dear to you accompanied by the sound of rain, was just the most ideal way to spend a day like this. Mina said a little Thank you, saranghae unnie, and gave a quick hug to the older girl, before turning her attention back to the rain.

Ellie was out on patrol with Dinah and Jesse, the three friends were patrolling a nearby town since they needed to go and check out that the supermarket was clean from the infected, this was also a great opportunity to loot the place and take whatever they deemed useful or that they had liked.

Ellie was in the 'Electronics' section of the store rummaging through the aisles, she liked checking this particular section of the stores in the hope of finding something interesting to watch with Joel, being a new movie or show that they hadn't seen yet and that wasn't available at the library for their whole town. She always made sure to grab two copies of whatever she was getting, one for her personal collection and the other for the town to be able to enjoy, ever since Ellie started going out on patrol the town had benefited from whatever new loot she came with.

She came across a DVD display rack, it was mostly bare and destroyed but in the middle of it were a few copies of ‘Dawn of The Wolf: Part 1’ she checked them to see if they were in good condition and thankfully she was able to snatch 2 copies and put them on her bag, before going back she snatched a couple more DVD cases that looked fine securing for her own collection and for the town a few different titles.

Soon she reunited with her friends and they made their way back home, after stopping by the stable to let Shimmer there to rest she went to the library to give them the DVDs that she got. When she was done with it she went back home stopping by her place (it's actually Joel's garage, but they converted it into a loft when they started distancing themselves), in there she left her bag and dirty clothes, took a shower before going back to the main house, not forgetting to take all the new movies and her astronaut bear.

She had decided to wear some plain sweatpants and a baggy t-shirt since it was a lazy day, it didn't take more than 5 steps to reach the door, running inside she started yelling "Papa where are yah?! I'm here to watch movies wif' you!!". Upon hearing his little girl Joel quickly went to where she was, butonce he set his eyes on her he went back to his closet to fetch a flannel for the girl, even if it’s stil autumn the days are quite cold and with no heating system in the houses the inside was almost as cold as the outside.

Ellie didn’t protest when Papa made her wear the flannel, on the contrary she loved wearing his flannels since they are so warm and smell just like him, a wood scent always accompanied him, when Papa stopped fussing over her she went to retrieve the movies and show them to Joel. 

“Look Papa I founds lots of new movies to watch!” exclaimed ever so happy the little, “I can see that, you sure had a good loot today baby girl” chuckled Joel seeing how excited she was over some old DVDs, but then again to her they were so new. Ellie kept rambling about what she looted while on patrol, and how she imagined all the movies to be, inventing a plot for all of them based solely on the cover, “Can we watch dis movie tonight Papa? Can we? Can we?” pleaded Ellie showing him the first movie she picked back in the supermarket.

Joel was about to agree blindly until he recognized the cover, 5 years back had been the last time he had seen that image and 20 years prior to that was the first time, he could remember how Ellie had thought back then that it was probably an action-thriller movie filled with scary werewolves. The first thought that came to mind was to simply say no to watching it because it brought back bad memories of Sarah's last moments on Earth, but that wasn't actually the case, he related that movie more to Sarah gushing about the 'Romance' among the protagonists... but it is still not suitable for children as young as Ellie was at this time. 

“I’m not letting you watch a movie about some girl falling in love with a werewolf, that’s so weird and I don’t want to explain why they seem to be longing for eachother” was what Joel meant to say, but in reality what he said was “Sorry babygirl but we can’t see this movie, it is not meant for little kids like you”.

“But why Papa?! I wanna see the big bad wolfman fight wif’ everyone, am sure he wins always” whined Ellie crossing her arms and giving a death stare to Joel, “He’s not a big bad werewolf, the movie’s about this girl” he said pointing to the cover, “falling in love with the werewolf. So I’m sure it isn’t on your preferred genre of movies” finished Joel laughing out loud.

“You right Papa, don’t wanna see them bein’ all lovey dovey like Auntie Ria and Unca Tommy” said Ellie fake gagging at the thought of having to watch smooches between the protagonists, I thought so was all that Joel said, meanwhile Ellie went back to browse between the DVDs they had to find something good to watch.

Joel felt a fierce stare upon him and turned to see that Ellie was scanning him from head to toe, like trying to gain the courage to say something, and suddenly the dam broke. "You know what Papa? You look like the Wolfman"  bluntly said the little girl, "What?!" was the only thing that his brain seemed to formulate, "Yeah, you both hairy and wear flannels. And Mr. Wolfman looked all bad an' mean, but actually you are so fluffy like Astrobear" explained Ellie raising the aforementioned stuffed bear.

Joel only chuckled at the comparison that his dear daughter had just made, letting her cuddle at his side when she had finally picked a movie for both to enjoy, 'Space Buddies' seemed to be the movie of the season, Ellie really liked it since it is set in space and would choose to watch it at any opportunity given. 

He didn't really care if it was the 100th time they had watched it, all that was important was spending time with his baby girl, although he threatened to get rid of it if she kept calling him Mr. Wolfman. Of course, Ellie didn’t listen and kept calling him by that nickname the rest of the week, until Tommy started doing it too and she got mad since it was only meant for her to be said.

Binnie was sitting in his car seat in Daddy's car, he had told him that he was supposed to stay at Twice gomos and noonas' house to have a playdate with Chaeyoung and Tzuyu since they are all the same age.

All the other boys that he encounters at the park always tell him that he shouldn't like having playdates with girls, since he is a boy and should only like doing rough things and getting dirty. 

Binnie does like those kinds of things like making mud pies, fake wrestling, using nerf guns, but he also likes playing with dolls, dressing up as different things, and the occasional tea party, the Twice house is the perfect place to do all those things so he's excited about going there on this day.

As soon as Daddy parked his car Binnie unbuckled himself and got out running to the door in order to ring the bell but was stopped by Chan, “Hey mate, aren’t you forgetting something?” he said holding Changbin’s backpack and wiggling it a bit, Binnie ran back to grab it and put it on before taking Daddy’s hand and going back to the door.

When the door was opened Binnie was quick to greet the woman on the other side, “Annyeong noona. Can Binnie enter please”, “Annyeong, sure you can" replied Mina indifferently stepping aside to let both boys enter while she put on some shoes on, “Jyo I’ll wait outside” yelled Mina before closing the door behind her.

A few seconds later Jihyo came running past them throwing a quick Annyeong, Mama is in the kitchen before slipping shoes on and going the same way as Mina, chuckling at his fellow 97' liners Chan guided Binnie inside the kitchen to find Nayeon.

“Noona annyeong! We came for the playdate, Bin is super excited… Mina let us come inside(added as an afterthought)” said Chan with so much excitement, “Just in time, the girls have been asking for hours on end when he would arrive” mentioned Nay before turning to Changbin, “Binnie how about you go and join the girls, they are in their room waiting for you” said Nay pointing him in the right direction.

Binnie gave his Daddy a hug before running to where Nayeon had pointed, “Are you sure that it’s okay if he stays here for a couple hours? I don’t want to impose on your kindness" said Chan scratching the back of his neck. "I had already told you that it's more than okay. Binnie is a pleasure to have around, so stop worrying and go, he'll be safe here" comforted Nayeon, escorting him to the door and waving goodbye.

On the other side of the house were the 3 99' liners happily deciding what they should play, "We should play charades" proposed Chaeng but was refuted by Tzu, "No, you always win, 's not fair" pouted the younger girl. "Maybe we can play thieves an' we all wanna rob the same thing, so we has nerf guns an' if you get shot you have to lay on the floor for a little bit" proposed Binnie.

ChaeTzu liked the idea so they went to fetch their Nerfs, “Hey Binnie, you gots your own Nerf or need one?” asked Chaeng while Tzuyu grabbed an extra Nerf for the boy, “I need one p’ease… Oh thank you” said Bin thanking Tzu for lending him a Nerf. 

That’s how they started playing, they decided that the item to get was an Elmo doll and to make the game fair would ask someone else to hide it. Dahyun that was chilling on Sana’s room was the chosen one to hide the Elmo doll, joining the fun for a little bit by shooting the kids randomly so it would be harder.

The next game was proposed by Tzuyu, she loved playing restaurant and always being the chef, Chaeng and Binnie were okay with that arrangement taking turns being the waiter and client… or sometimes both were the clients and Tzuyu was running a little food stand where she was both the one cooking and tending to clients.

“I'm hungry!! Baegopa!!” yelled Binnie at the waiter, “You are always hungry! So wait until the food’s ready” yelled back the exasperated waiter going to the chef, “Chef Tzu, food almost ready? Ahjussi making a scene out there, the otha’ clients will go” exclaimed Chaeng rubbing her temple.

Tzuyu was quick to prepare the fake plate of food for Bin, Chaeng took it and ran back to his ‘table’ (it was really a cardboard box) to serve him the plate, there were some plastic fruits with a bit of slime, and a crayon inserted in the middle as a garnish. Seeing the plate Binnie started tearing up, he was really hungry and of course, he didn’t expect real food but he was little so his emotions got the best of him.

The girls got worried at their little friend’s tears, Binnie wasn’t ashamed to cry but now he was crying for the pretend food, that’s something that never happened before, sure they pretend that they are mad clients but never cry about it. 

“You okay Binnie?” asked Tzu getting closer to the boy and patting his head in hopes of consoling him, “Nooo, I’m r-really hung-gry. Nae tummy is m-mad and wan’s foo-ood, Daddy says should t-tell adult but I’m sca-scared” cried out between sobs the poor little boy.

Chaeng being the oldest of the bunch took it upon herself to resolve this problem, “Let’s go, Binnie, will find Mama or Mommy to get you food” said extending her hand for the boy to take, “But gomo will be mad for asking fo’ food” whined Binnie but it fell to deaf ears and they proceeded to find an adult.

The three kids venture into the dinning room to find an adult, and there was Momo at the table eating some chips when she noticed the kids, “Hey guys, what brings you out here with the rest of us?” asked Momo with chips in her mouth, at that sight Binnie’s tummy started growling and he whined at the sensation. 

“Binnie hungry, you seen Mama or Mommy? We needs food fo’ him” said Tzu stealing a chip from Momo’s plate and offering it to Bin, and getting another one for her, “Mommy is in the kitchen making lunch, so how about you sit here with me Bin while we wait for it?” said Momo patting the seat beside her for the boy to take. “And where’s Mama?” asked Chaeng since she knew that Nayeon was there before, “Probably being lovey dovey with Mommy” said Momo with a shrug and wave of her hand.

So the 3 girls and Changbin were sitting there eating chips to mitigate the hunger, that’s how Jeongyeon finds them and decides to tease them a bit, “Hey you little rascals, why are you eating the chips?” said Jeong pretending to be upset at the kids, action that made Binnie start crying again.

“Sorry gomo!! “Didn’t mean to eat chips, p’ease don’ be mad” cried out Bin looking so upset, “Oh Bin she was just joking, we are not mad at you for eating chips. Of course, it would be preferable that you eat healthier food, but it's okay,” said Nay comforting the crying boy. “Really? “You promise you are not mad?” asked Bin with hopeful eyes, We promise said NaJeong calming the boy, “It’s just that nae tummy was really mad an’ needed food.”

“Did you eat breakfast Binnie?” asked Jeong concerned since the boy hadn’t been long in the house, “No… Papa asked but I say no, cause was not hungry. An’ Daddy not like when we eat in da’ car” explained the boy playing with his fingers at the anxiousness, with a big sigh and clearly upset Nayeon sent all the kids to wash their hands and call SaiDa up to come to eat lunch.

Meanwhile, Jeongyeon put food on plates for all the kids and placed them on the table, Bin was afraid that his gomos were upset with him for everything that happened, but they comforted him and told him that all was okay. They gave the 3 kids snacks to munch on while playing and also juice pouches since they remembered that Changbin usually carries snacks in his backpack since his appetite is so active, but turns out that Chan had forgotten to pack that day’s snacks.

The kids spent the rest of their playdate happily playing, and when Chan came to pick him up they berated him for being careless with the poor boy, telling him that he should have made sure that Changbin had eaten breakfast and had snacks on hand since he could get quite shy when he was in their house.

Rosie and Lili had watched too many movies this past couple of weeks where witches appeared, from nice witches to evil witches, but there was a constant in their characters, all witches made potions in their big cauldrons. The nice witches would make potions to help those in need, and the bad witches made them to curse people, but they always were so magical and fantastic having the ability to do anything in the world happen.

So when they accompanied their Mommy to the store and saw a big plastic cauldron they had to get it, they would be able to become real-life witches and make potions to help people, they also asked for some witch costumes they saw to complete their witchy aesthetic.

Once they got back home they just ran toward their rooms to get changed, “Omo!! What’s the rush? Nice to see you too, welcome back” murmured Jennie with a roll of her eyes, “They are just excited to go and play, they’re kids after all. But I am glad to see you back, how was the shoot?” asked Jisoo before planting a kiss on the pouting face of Jen.

“Good, we were able to get the shoots quickly how we all liked it. How was the trip to the store with uli 2 demons?” said Jen while helping Jisoo put away all the things she bought, after everything was on it’s place she backhugged the older girl, resting her chin on her shoulder and inhaling her scent, Soo always smelled like her favorite perfume ‘Miss Dior’.

Just inhaling Soo’s scent made Jen relax, so she closed her eyes and tried to bury herself deeper into the eldest body but was stopped by her hands untangling her from her body, “Wae?!” whined the younger one without opening her eyes. 

“I know, I know. But we can’t cuddle in the kitchen, let’s at least go lay on the sofa” said Soo leading them to the sofa and lying before pulling Jen on top of her, when she felt herself being pulled into a laying position Jen opened her eyes but closed them again after snuggling into Soo’s chest and drifting into dreamland.

Meanwhile on the other side of the house were ChaeLisa in their playroom, it used to be the guest room but the adults had converted it into a playroom for all the toys the girls had, they had placed the cauldron in the middle of the room on top of some wooden blocks that simulated a fire pit with a little light on the middle that shined bright orange for the fire.

They had also dimmed the lights of the room to give it that dungeon feeling, Rosie was ‘mixing’ the pretend potion inside the cauldron with a wooden spoon that they had stolen from the kitchen so long ago, while Lisa ‘poured’ different ingredients into it, giving them weird names as she added them.

It was fun to make potions for the problems of her dolls and stuffed animals, some came because they were sick, and some others were cursed by the mean witch that lived on the other side of the river (the hallway of their building, she was the meanest baddest witch ever, always yelling when they made to much noise). But sooner than later they ran out of clients for their potions, and just stirring the spoon around with nothing real inside was tedious and not fun anymore, they needed to make some real potions, get the real experience of throwing things into the cauldron, and make a concoction.

They went toward the living room yo ask their moms permission to grab some things from the pantry and maybe even the bathroom, but they were asleep, that didn’t stop them from asking and getting a ‘Sure, just don’t make a mess and put everything back on it’s place’, happy with the response they ran into the kitchen splitting up. Rosie was in charge of getting things from the pantry since she is a couple centimeters taller, Lili had to get things from the fridge and the cabinets under the sink, putting everything on a basket that they dragged to their room.

Deciding those were not enough ingredients they ventured into the forbidden lands, also known as ‘Mama & Mommy’s room’, Rosie rummaged through the cabinets in their bathroom while Lili searched for things in the vanity, each one came out of the room whit a couple of items and put it in the basket alongside the rest of the ingredients. 

That’s how the real potion-making began, first, they poured water inside and then began alternating who was adding an ingredient, every time a new thing joined the concoction they gave it a funny name and described what effect it had. Oatmeal seeds (plain oats) for fair skin, tomato slime (ketchup) for soft hands, shamsuds liquid (shampoo) and soappy flakes (bits of a soap bar) so you always smell good, etc.

They kept adding things and things until a watery paste formed, it wasn’t pleasant to the sight but surprisingly smelled good, Rosie made note of this and asked Lisa, “Potion smell goody, know why Lili?”, “Yesh, Lili put lots of pink water that smell goody” answered Lisa showing her the mentioned item. Rosie knew that the pink water looked familiar but could not put her mind on where she had seen it before, not putting more thought into it she grabbed a glass vial that had a pink substance inside and poured it to make the potion a little more appealing.

Back in the living room, Jennie woke up from the impromptu nap she had taken, the house was so quiet and surprisingly smelled so nice, she went to investigate where the kids were and why they weren't making a ruckus.

Upon arrival at the playroom, she found both of them surrounding the cauldron gushing about how nice it looked, as she got closer the smell came stronger and stronger until she stood right next to the kids. “What you got there? It smells so nice” asked Jennie taking a good sniff of air, “Mama!! Looks we made potion” yelled Lili pointing to the cauldron, “We put nice pink water an’ pink goo to make it pwetty pink!” exclaimed Rosie showing Jennie what they had put into their concoction.

Her heart dropped a beat when she saw what Rosie was holding, in one of her hands was the almost empty bottle of Jisoo’s perfume, and on the other one the vial of her favorite lipgloss with just a drop left. “Rosie baby, where did you get these things from?” asked Jen fearing the response, “I fink from you’s and mama’s room,” said Rosie realizing she had just confessed about going inside without permission.

“You mads? We sorry Mama, p’ease no mad” cried out Lili before dropping on her butt and letting out wrecking sobs, being followed by Rosie, soon both girls were on the floor crying their hearts out. Jisoo came running into the room when she heard the commotion, “Lalisa! Chaeyoung! Jennie! Are you okay? What’s happening why are they crying?” questioned Jisoo scanning the scene, “They started crying after I asked them where they got the bottles Rosie is holding” said Jen rubbing her temple.

Jisoo saw the bottles and she understood what happened, “We are not angry with you, but you know that you should not enter our room without permission and especially not take things that are ours” reprimanded Jisoo but there was no going back with their things. “We sowwy Mommy! We sowwy Mama! No do again” said the girls before running to hug their moms.

JenSoo lost their favorite things, but thankfully are replaceable, next time they know they should keep a close eye on the girls and their shenanigans if they don’t want to be replacing their things every single week.

Trying to rebuild their relationship had proven to be a hard matter, that day 3 years back had really put a strain on how much the relationship had progressed and it felt like they were back to the start of the Summer of '33.

But nonetheless Joel was glad that Ellie had given him another chance to be in her life, and he was going to make the most of it to get it back at were it was, he wasn’t to lose another daughter forever. He was going to be the best dad that Ellie could get, and no he wasn’t getting sappy, it was just that she deserved so many great things just like he had given to Sarah, both his daughters deserved to have the world at their feet.

For Ellie the world was getting brighter, she could finally truly relax snuggled against Joel in his… their living room watching some movie they had found on patrol, reading some of her comics or a book, even just sitting there hearing him do anything around the house was ideal. When they had settled into a comfortable relationship back when they were traveling the country, Ellie had started regressing, not that either she or Joel knew that back then, but they had always noticed that sometimes she would act more childish than any other teen they knew.

Once they came to live in Jackson they truly explored that aspect once a doctor in the community told them about the whole regression thing, none of them wanted to admit it, but the doctor explained that it was completely normal given the circumstances of the world, and they finally embraced it when she told them that lots of the teens/young adults that had come into the community did it as well.

So when she distanced herself from Joel it had put a huge strain on her mental health, she had leaned into her regression as her principal source to relieve stress but without Joel it just wasn’t the same, and she could not regress properly by herself or having anyone else taking care of her.

But all that was behind them, right at this moment Ellie was sitting on the floor of Joel’s woodwork studio drawing on her sketchbook while he carved a figurine, the mood was calm, each one in their own world until Ellie remembered something.

“Papa! I finally knows what I wants to be fo’ the party!” yelled Ellie turning to face Joel, almost cutting his finger at the sudden outburst he put everything down on the table, preparing to tell Ellie off for yelling but upon seeing the excitement on her face he decided against it.

“Really? What are you going to be?” asked Joel putting his whole attention on her, “Am gonna be Angel!!” exclaimed Ellie shaking from the emotion, then she started rambling about how all the other kids were going to be so jealous at the magnificence of her costume, Joel could only chuckle while listening.

He promised to make her the best Angel costume ever, the next day he went to the library trying to get all the books he could find with images of angels to try and sketch an idea of the costume, but he remembered that he was so bad at drawing things so he went to Maria looking for help. The next days he spent all his free time planning the costumes when he wasn’t on patrol, and when he was out would search for anything that could be used on Ellie’s costume.

Joel and Tommy were in a nearby town while patrolling to get rid of all the infected when he stumbled into a hardware store, Jackpot he thought going into the store hoping to find some things he needed from there. While Joel rummaged through the different aisles Tommy came inside as well and questioned his older brother's actions, “What are you exactly doing Joel? We should be looking for more infected to get rid of or go back home. You don’t need any more tools back home, I’m sure you already have enough of them to open your own hardware store back there”.

“I’m not looking for tools, I need some steel wire for the wings of Ellie’s costume,” said Joel going back to keep looking for the item, “You sure your girl should dress as an angel? I think a demon would be more fitting,” said Tommy holding back laughter, “She wants to, so I’m making sure she will. Now stop being such a pain and help me look for it so we can get going as soon as possible” grumbled Joel.

Once he had gotten all the necessary supplies Joel began the true making of the costume, measuring Ellie up to know what size the wings should be since he didn’t want her to stumble and hurt herself if they ended to big.

“Papa can we eats grilled cheese and ‘mato soup? Dina says Talia mades it fo’ her and was so tasty, so I wan’ some too p’ease” begged Ellie using her best puppy eyes, even if she knew that her Papa was wrapped around her little finger and would do anything she asked for, or at least that was what uncle Tommy said.

“Sure thing baby girl, once we are finished here we’ll go ask Tommy and Maria for some butter since a certain little girl ate all we had this morning at breakfast” said Joel teasing Ellie, making her let out tiny giggles and swear she didn’t know what her Papa was talking about.

As promised Joel and Ellie went towards Tommy and Maria’s house, upon arrival Ellie wanted to barge in but was stopped by Joel, “Baby girl, remember we can’t just barge inside, we need to knock so they let us in” reprimanded Joel, knocking on the door waiting for someone to open it.

Soon after Tommy opened the door to greet them, “What brings you here at this hour? Please come in, it’s getting a little chilly outside” said Tommy and when the last word came out of his mouth Ellie ran inside, “Unca’ Tommy, where’s Auntie ‘Ria? I wanna see her” exclaimed the little girl looking all around the first floor for her aunt, but not having luck with her mission.

“Is that my favorite little girl that I’m hearing? Have she come to visit me and give me lots of love?” asked Maria, faking surprise when she spotted Ellie and opening her arms for the running girl that was coming to her. With a tud Ellie crashed into her aunt’s arms and hugged her, getting kisses all over her face as a response, when the kiss attack finished she began to tell Maria all about her day.

“Guess what Auntie ‘Ria? Papa’s making grilled cheese and ‘mato soup fo’ dinner!!” mentioned Ellie when she remembered why they were there, “Oh really? You must be so excited about eating such a yummy dinner” said Maria chuckling at what could make a little kid so excited.

“Yes!! Dina says it’s so yummy, so I asked Papa for it and he said yes” said Ellie, overflowing with happiness, then she started to tell Maria what Dina had taught her that day when she went to visit her house.

“If you are making that for dinner then why are you here? It’s getting late and you should start on dinner if you plan on getting your little rascal in bed at a reasonable hour” asked Tommy clarifying how they are always welcomed, “We came to ask for some butter please, Ellie ate all of ours this morning and it’s so late to go and get some for the house” explained Joel, looking towards Ellie and smiling at how easygoing the girl is.

“She sure has you wrapped around her little finger, you basically bend at her will. First, you're making some wings from scratch for her angel costume and now you are making an elaborate dinner just cause she asked” chuckled Tommy patting his big brother’s back but then going to his fridge to fetch the requested item.

“What wings Unca’ Tommy? Angel Knives don’t have wings, she has big claws like Wolverine!” demonstrated Ellie throwing her arms around as if she were attacking with her fake claws. "Baby girl, didn’t you say you wanted to dress like an angel for the party?” asked Joel looking directly at the girl, “Yeah Papa, wanna dress like Angel Knives. I already told you, so silly Papa” giggled Ellie continuing to throw punches and kicks at the air.

With a sigh Joel took the butter from Tommy and grabbed Ellie’s hand going toward the door, “You going already brother?” asked Tommy chuckling, “Yes, I need to make dinner and get this little one in bed as soon as possible. Tomorrow is going to be a long day of me making fake claws for Ellie” answered Joel waving a final goodbye to Maria and Tommy before walking back to his house with Ellie on tow.

Of course, Angel Knives made more sense than an actual angel, but this one was on Joel for not asking Ellie more questions, it was a big lesson to learn. Tommy was right, Ellie has him wrapped around her little finger just like Sarah did, maybe he was just meant to be a dotting ‘girl dad’ and give into their shenanigans.

Especially when he had a tiny voice come to him at night and tell him Wuv you Papa, before snuggling next to him, his baby girl was more of a demon than an angel but he wouldn’t have it any other way, just enjoying these little moments when it was just them and no infected or bad people existed in the world of the Miller family.

Having a Family - Pond Family

Thankfully her grandparents are the best and make her feel so comfortable once there, also they always have her favorite sweets in stock for whenever she visits "

Melody Pond, Mels Zucker or River Song… no matter what you know her as, she is in the end the same person, different personalities but that’s expected when you grow specially if you had grown up like she had, all over the place. But the foundation was the same, an orphan who would do anything to be close to her family, even if that meant distancing herself from them and not acknowledging that she longed for that closeness.

Luckily for River her family also would do anything to be close to her, even if that meant tracking her throughout all fabric of space and time, and dragging her to the family reunion that she was escaping from.

Don’t get her wrong all her life she had wished for this things, having her parents force her to attend family functions that would be so boring, relatives asking her an infinity of questions trying to make their kids be a step ahead of her, food that might not be the best but having to pretend that it was magnificent to not hurt someone’s feelings… you know the normal things tha ensue having a family.

But in her fantasies her parents were really parent age, meaning that a normal gap between their ages existed, not like this were she was actually older than them and everyone would question their sanity at saying she was actually the child. She wanted a normal life were her parents raised her on their little town of Leadworth, she would still have gotten in lots of trouble at school and her mum would still have to wait outside the principal’s office and berate her for her misbehavior, but in this life her dad would be alongside her and neither of them would be wearing the same uniform as her.

At the moment it was believable that River is younger than Amy and Rory, since she had a encounter with the wrong crowd on planet ZedAndromeda98 and her body had gotten younger, but still the gap wasn’t what it should be, she was only a couple of years younger than her parents. 

She wanted to avoid unwanted attention on the gathering, but her parents had literally dragged her to her grandparents house, once she was spotted by Tabetha and Augustus there wasn’t a chance to escape.

With a sigh she went to where the older Ponds were sitting and greeted them, “Hello Mr and Mrs Pond, it’s a pleasure to see you” she said extending her hand for a shake, but of course her grandparents weren’t having that and let her know.

“Laddie, is that a way to greet your grandparents?” questioned Augustus grabbing River’s hand to pull her towards him and enveloping her between his big arms, whend he was finished hugging his granddaughter he passed her along to Tabetha.

“Bobbins how you've been? You seem awfully skinny, have that hotheaded of your mom been feeding you well?” questioned Tabetha checking River from head to toe, and when she was satisfied proceeded to hug her and kiss her on the cheek, letting her go with a pat to her bum.

River was mortified at the prospect of someone seeing what had just happened, everyone would think her grandparents were weird, and most likely wouldn’t invite them to any more family functions, then they would surely hate her and therefore her parents too.

Sensing the distress she was feeling, Amy grabbed her, hugging her in order to ground her and prevent an anxiety attack from River, “Shh Mels, everything is okay. Nobody saw or heard anything, and even if they had you know we Ponds are stubborn and won’t let anyone bad talk you” stated Amy rocking them from side to side. 

“And us Williams don’t let what anyone says about us to stop us. If we did you would not be right here” said Rory winking at the last part, getting a light chuckle from River and a punch on the arm from Amy, scolding him for his comment, “Gosh Rory, don’t say those kinds of things in front of our kid or our parents!!”.

“Exactly bobbins, we don’t care about anyone else, the important thing is having you and having a great time as a family” reassured Tabetha, getting a nod from her husband, “Yeah laddie, you always be more important to us. Now Amelia how about you and Rory go and help with the food”.

“Okay, we’ll go. Come on Mels let go help the fami…” “Stop there Amelia! Our ban-ogha stays here with us” reprimanded Tabetha making her granddaughter sit between her and Augustus, preventing her parents from taking her away.

Hearing the gaelic term let River know that her grandparents were giving her permission to regress freely, they had quickly accepted the regression when they learned about it, saying they had come to terms with the confusing timeline, so this was easier to understand.

“Mamaidh, me stay with seanmhair and seanair. No worry” said River with a cheeky smile, “Okay you can stay, but promise me you’ll be good Melody” demanded Amy, knowing that her parents loved getting on her daughter's misbehavior, letting her be her chaotic self.

“She’s always an angel Amelia, so stop worrying and go on” reprimanded Augustus at them insinuating that his precious Melody could do wrong. With a final “Be good for your grandparents Melody” and a kiss on her forehead from her dad, River was left in her grandparents care.

When they were finally occupied and out of ear range, Tabetha told Augustus to retrieve the booty, he returned with a tin lunch box and placed it in front of the little girl, “Go on laddie, open it. We know you’ll like it so much”.

Inside were all her favorite candies, both English and Scottish ones, she was so touched since lots of them were from back when she was Mels Zucker, “Can I eats them?” asked the little girl throwing a big-eyed look at her grandparents, after the affirmative nod from them she began dig in.

There where some scottish macaroons, tunnocks teacake, edinburgh rock, jelly babies, cadbury chocolate, maltesers, and lots more; she always had a sweet tooth, but back when she lived in America as Melody, Madame Kovarian never let her eat sweets saying how she couldn’t be that childish if she wanted to see her parents again.

Then came her time as Mels, Kovarian didn’t have that much involvement in her new upbringing so that’s when she got more liberty to do as she pleased, back then spending time on the Pond residence meant getting to eat anything her heart desired, since the Zuckers were also strict with her diet. 

And once she turned into River, she was put into Stormcage to serve her time of twelve thousand life sentences, and sweets weren't exactly part of her diet there, of course, she escaped every once and then but on her trips, the opportunity to grab sweets weren't huge.

At that moment she realized that her wish had indeed come true, she had gotten to spend quality time with her family in an environment where she was acknowledged as the child of Amelia Pond and Rory Williams. She also had amazing grandparents, both Tabetha and Augustus Pond alongside Brian Williams, who were the most amazing ones, always getting in her shenanigans and spoiling her rotten.

Melody Williams-Pond was indeed a lucky girl, she had an amazing family that loved her and always reminded her of that fact, she was able to relieve moments from her past that she missed in the form of her regression. And the most important thing, all 3 of her grandparents always had a huge supply of her favorite sweets for when she visited, of course, hidden from her parents, just like a visit to your grandparents' house is supposed to be like.

So Melody… Mels… River is forever grateful for having this amazing opportunity, there are times when she wishes she had grown up like any normal kid, but she prefers this life where aliens and spaceships are part of it, where she can visit any point in time and space alongside her amazing family.

I’m not sure when Hank was adopted, but let’s pretend that it was around this time of the year for the sake of my story hehe. Of course Alice could deal with anything that her little sister did, like come on she has known her for more than 26 years, she already knew that if something to eat was in front of her she would be entertained for hours. Maybe the regression had been something new to her once she came to live in Korea and started spending more time with her sister, but she was able to understand it and accept it fast, she would do anything for her Rosie.

That is why she found herself in this situation, Rosie had begged her to throw a party to celebrate Hank’s adoption day, and how could she say no when both had looked at her with puppy eyes - Hankie has natural puppy eyes, since he is a dog. But still he had used his charms -, so now she was picking up the cake.

Alice had spent most of her morning running errands for the party, from getting the appetizers for both of them and also some that Hank could eat, decorations, getting both cakes - one meant only for Hank and the other for both Park girls -, she had to clean her apartment, all before they would come to drop Rosie and Hankie off.

At around noon Jennie came to do the drop off, since Jisoo who was supposed to had to go to the set of her newest project to solve some problems. As soon as she saw her unnie Rosie jumped into her arms, Alice spun them and filled the little's face with kisses, the toddler screamed out of joy at the affection she was getting, soon Jennie bid her good-bye, "Bye Mama!! See you soon" waved Rosie.

"You ready to start decorating ?" asked Alice walking to the sofa and letting Rosie down, she took the box filled with decorations and opened in front of the little so she could see what was inside, “Wow unnie, so pwetty. We hang now?” asked the little with sparkling eyes.

With a chuckle Alice told her that they could start decorating, letting Rosie choose the placement of everything, just helping her when they would place things in high places since she didn’t want the girl to fall and hurt herself.

They finished setting everything up quite quickly and proceeded to start the party, Alice couldn’t understand why Rosie had gone so overboard with the preparations for the party, since it was just the two of them plus Hank. But at the same time she guess that Hankie do deserve a huge celebration, since he suffered so much before entering the family, so at the end of the day the work was worth it.

The celebration was a huge success, Hankie looked so joyus, jumping and yapping all around the place, they made lots of toast to Hank's health and life, Alice with wine and Rosie with grape juice. After the many toasts Alice really needed to use the toilet so she went to lock the door and left the little one with the table full of food, knowing that would keep her from getting in trouble while she was gone, with one last look she left to do her business.

When she came back, Alice could sense that something was wrong, the kids were suspiciously quiet and calm, she was dreading getting closer, what could possibly be waiting for her when she reached the sofa, she guessed it won't be so bad seeing how they weren't panicking or crying… right?

Upon reaching the sofa, she saw both were still breathing properly, nothing seemed broken or sprained, maybe Rosie only had a tummy ache, it happened so often giving how much the girl loved to try different foods. But the food that was on the table looked almost untouched, and she hadn’t been eating that much either before Alice left her alone, she had been more preoccupied playing with Hank, so could it be really a tummy ache?.

Finally she dared to ask Rosie what had happened, no better way to know than to straight out ask, “Mate? It’s everything okay, you look a little out of it?” asked Alice and as soon as the words left her mouth, the tears started coming out of Rosie’s eyes, soon followed by the wails, “Ally unnie!! Bae apayo!! Feel icky!!”.

That made Alice panic, what could have Rosie ate that was causing such discomfort? They had made sure that nothing in the food would be dangerous for them, she started scaning the place trying to find what she could have possibly consumed. Suddenly from the corner of her eye she spotted the culprit, there laying on the table was a bitten candle, and a big chunk of it had been bit.

“Rosie mate, did you ate a piece of this?” said Alice holding up the candle, really hoping that the answer would be no, but she saw how nervous the little had turned after the question. 

“I’m not mad Joey, just please answer me” begged the eldest getting desperate about not getting an answer, “Yesh, am so sowwy unnie. It wooked so tasty” cried out the little girl throwing herself into her big sister’s arms, Alice made action to start comforting the sobbing toddler and after placing her on her hip.

Never letting go of her baby sister, Alice went to grab a backpack and filled it with things they could need on their imminent trip to the E.R., putting inside some diapers - and whatever was needed for diaper changes -, a couple sippy cups and bottles filled with juice and some empty, a change of clothes, some toys and her favorite blankie, lastly grabbing the girls stuffed kangaroo, ready to go she bid goodbye to Hank.

The whole trip to the E.R. was filled with anxiousness from the Park sisters, the normal joyous mood was replaced with dread and silence, it felt like an eternity the trip but in less than 30 minutes they were inside the hospital regestering Rosie so she could be seen by a doctor.

After taking with the nurse at the desk, they were told to sit and wait to be called for a doctor's consultation, Rosie sat on her unnie’s lap and clung to her shirt, she was scared of hospitals and just wanted the comfort from her big sis and Mrs Kangaroo. 

Just 15 minutes later a kind doctor called them into his office, “Hello, my name is Dr. Ahn Jeongwon and who is this little princess that’s visiting me today?” asked the doctor with a calming smile, “This is Rosie and I’m her sister Alice, her guardian” answered the older girl with a courtesy nod, “Nice to meet you Alice. Now Rosie… It’s okay if I call you that or you prefer something else?” said the doctor. 

After getting an affirmative nod he talked again, “So Rosie, could you tell me what brings you here today?”, the regressed girl began retelling the past events with the help from Alice when she couldn’t express something well, and the doctor took notes of everything, calling a nurse when Rosie finished her story.

“Okay, you don’t need to worry about anything princess, you’ll be more than alright. The candle wax isn’t poisonous so you will be alright Rosie, we only need to wait for it to come out, and it could continue to be bothersome.” explained the doctor directing everything to Rosé, and then he turned to Alice as well, “I would like to keep her here overnight in case the pain is too much and to make sure that the whole piece comes out, Nurse Gong here will escort you to a room. We’ll make sure that you feel safe here and tomorrow you will be able to go home” said the doctor waiving goodbye.

The Park sisters installed themselves on the room they were assigned, apparently it was almost a given fact that the candle should be discharged before the day ended, but they had to keep Rosie in case they nedeed laxatives or some pain meds. 

“Let’s get you ready for bed Joey, then we can watch a movie while eating some dinner. How does that sound?” asked Alice, relieved that her baby sister was going to be okay, “Yeah unnie, can yous lay wif’ me?” begged Rosie pouting, of course Alice couldn’t say no so she sat next to the little and both began eating what the nurses had brought them.

When the dinner was all eaten and they were almost at the end of the movie, they changed into some pajamas they had given them and laid on the hospital bed, cuddling after the tiring day.

“Wuv yah Roo unnie” whispered Rosie into Alice’s chest where she was snuggled.

“I love you, even more, uli Joey” whispered back Alice, planting a kiss on her baby sister's hair.

Hyo was watching the TV in Momo’s room, anytime she wanted to watch anything Disney she would go and ask her unnie to watch it, Momo loved to watch anything Disney when any of the girls were little, and of course, her leader-nim wasn't an exception.

The girls had settled on watching Finding Nemo while eating some toast with jam spread, Momo didn’t really care about the mess that would ensue, surely Jeong would come to berate them later but for the moment it was a joyful one. They had to stop the movie around the 20-minute mark since Hyo was in need to use the potty, Momo had to go with her in case the little girl needed help, she had regressed at around 4 years old and didn’t really need help most times, but sometimes getting her clothes back on was such a hassle.

After her potty break Hyo decided that she needed to go back to her room to do something important, which was making her bed, “Hyo why do you need to make your bed at this moment?” asked Momo desperate to go back to watch the movie, “I saw Momo unnie's bed, remember that you shoul’ not be sloppy” stated without tact about her unnie’s feelings. When they finally went back to Momo’s room to continue watching the movie, Hyo made Momo make her own bed before letting her press play on the movie, grumbling the older girl complied not without berating herself about asking that question to Hyo.

That’s how they spend the rest of the movie, stopping every so often so Hyo could go and do something, but when the scene with the little girl with braces came on she didn't dare move an inch, that was one of her favorite scenes and she wasn’t going to miss it. Alongside Darla, Hyo said the words copying the movements as well, “I'm a piranha! They live in the Amazon!” she finished trying to bite Momo’s finger, but thanks to the universe Momo could see Hyo's mouth getting dangerously close and moved her hand away from the line of danger.

Momo told the little girl about how she shouldn’t try to bite people, and after the tiny Mianhae that came from Hyo’s mouth they continued watching the TV, once the movie was over they put some cartoon that Hyo loved, Vampirina was one of her newly favored shows to watch from Disney Junior.

Momo didn’t really understood things about the show, but if Hyo was happy she was willing to continue watching with her, the little girl was entranced by the show before, her barely moving, after 3 episodes she woke from her trance and looked to her unnie.

“Unnie! Unnie!” said Hyo trying to catch the elder’s attention, “Mwo?” responded Momo putting her phone down to give her full attention to the little, “You think I can dress like Vampirina?” asked Hyo, “You want to dress like the little vampire girl? Why? And when?” questioned Mo, “Don’ know, just wants to dress like her” shrugged the little girl. 

“Sure why not, should we look for a costume?” said Mo opening the browser on her phone, Hyo excitedly nodded and sat beside her unnie to look for her costume, they found one that was deemed enough by the little and bought it. Hyo didn’t know if she would be able to wait the days it would take to arrive.

A whole 5 days after they ordered it it came in the mail, at the moment Jihyo wasn’t little she was her own adult self hanging around the girls, she heard the door open but didn’t think to much of it, with so many people living there opening doors wasn’t an uncommon occurrence. 

Until Momo said the words JIHYO. YOUR. COSTUME. ARRIVED. and that’s all it took for Hyo to reappear, she ran to Momo and took the box from her hands, it was exactly how she had imagined it and she wanted, no, needed to put it on at that exact moment. 

Recruiting Momo’s help Hyo put the costume on, she ran back out into the living room to show everyone what Momo had got her, the members awed and cooed at how cute the little looked. And Hyo beamed at everyone, almost bursting at the seems from the happiness that was filling her tiny body, the first thing she did after getting all the compliments was asking Mo to watch Vampirina once again, the older girl complied and they did that.

Everything was cool, until it wasn’t anymore, in the first chance she got Hyo escaped from the room, she got so into the role of being a vampire that she hid in the shadows, stalking everyone, preying on her next victim. The crime she was comitting? Bitting everyone.

All the members knew that in or out of little space, Hyo just likes to be biting her fingers or people, they always try to redirect that energy into healthier alternatives, but since today she was so into the vampire role and stalking them there wasn’t a chance to redirect the bites.

Hyo started pouncing on her members, giving them surprise bites on whatever exposed part was available, Jeongie ended up with a bite mark on her shoulder and another one on her ankle, Sana had a bite mark on her upper arm, Tzu on her wrist, Dahyun on one of her cheeks, Mina on the back of her leg, Chaeng on her back, and Nayeon on her neck and ear. So far the only one who had saved herself from the tiny vampire was Momo, but once she came out of the bathroom and into the living room she was attacked and her nose was bitten.

After her attack to Momo, Hyo was caught and taken to the time-out chair, after her time was served NaJeong explained how she wasn’t supposed to bite people even if she was dressed as a vampire, because she was hurting everyone. Momo also got berated because she was the one that bought her the costume, they asked her Why couldn’t you buy her a more friendly costume, like a princess or something like that?.

In the end, both of them got berated and would certainly be more careful with what the girl watched, apparently anything with bites was out of the table. Their next online orders were inspected by NaJeong before being given to MoHyo, wanting to see if they would not be affected by the things.

But let’s be real, Hyo would bite people even if she was not dressed like a vampire.

Dahyun and Chaeyoung decided to tag along their MiSaMo unnies on their shopping trip, the japanese women had to buy some personal care things that they had run out while on the States so they went to this store that’s so characteristic from their red color - like the best store ever, it tells you what you should buy rather than you knowing -. 

As soon as they arrived the elders went towards the coffee shop located near the entryway to buy some drinks for their time inside the store, ordering a Matcha Latte, a Vanilla Cold Brew and a Dragonfruit Refresher, the tween duo watched this and also wanted drinks for themselves, they got on the seasonal spirit and ordered Pumpkin Spice drinks, since that’s a mature thing to do… right?

When the girls had their drinks the unnies told them that they understand that they wouldn’t want to stick with a particular one of them, so each one without the others knowing gave the duo some money to spend while on the store, so they could browse the store at their own pace. 

The first thing they did was get a shopping cart to use the cup holders, and started their adventure inside the store, the first area that they passed was the food one, they started on the snack aisle filling their cart with whatever looked tasty enough, then going to the beverages aisle, followed by the chips aisle, and lastly the coffee isle doing the same thing on every one, in this last one they picked some more Pumpkin Spice brews to make their cart look more mature.

They kept browsing through all the isles until they bumped into Sana unnie, “Ohh!! What you got on your cart babies?” exclaimed Sana looking into the cart to see what the girls were buying, “We are not babies, we are almost adults unnie” grumbled Chaeng crossing her arms, “Sorry, I won’t call you that again” answered the japanese girl with and apologetic smile. 

The eldest chuckled at seeing all the ‘junk food’ they had on the cart, but frowned seeing how their drinks were just like when they bought them, “Girls why haven’t you touched your drinks? Did you not like them?! Should we go and buy new ones?” asked shocked pushing them to the front to buy them new drinks, but she was stopped by what Hyun said, “We are supposed to drink them? Aren’t they just for decor?!”.

After the initial shock Sana started giggling like crazy, “Of course y-you are suppo-posed to drink them, if not wh-why would you buy them?” said Sha between giggles holding her tummy that was aching from the laughter, “Hey!! Don’t make fun of us” pouted Chaengie, throwing her arms to her side, “Sosorry, it’s just that you are so cute” cooed the eldest, pinching both girls' cheeks. 

Rubbing her cheeks from the pinching supplied by Sana, Hyun talked again, “But we are not supposed to eat or drink anything inside the store!” exclaimed trying to wrap her head at how they were supposed to drink anything, followed by a confirming hum coming from Chaeng, “You can eat or drink anything from the coffee shop while shopping, that’s why it’s right by the entrance.”

A little ashamed at not deducing that by themselves, they said bye to Sana so she could continue with her shopping, when she had been gone for a couple minutes they finally dared to try their drinks, and just like Sana had guessed they in fact did not like them, the flavor was not what they expected. At first they didn’t let the other know since they didn’t want to loose their mature facade, but soon remembered that it they are each others bro, so it wouldn’t matter, and proceeded to ran to the restroom and spit out the sip they had taken.

“It taste horrible, how can the people drink this?” asked Chaeyoung rinsing her tongue on the sink, while Dahyun gargles with water, “I agree, only the adults with dead taste buds should like it” said when she finished rinsing her mouth, but know they didn’t know what to do with ther drinks, if they went to throw them away there was the chance that any of their unnies would see them, and now they would really loose their mature facade.

They tried to find solutions for their problem but could not come up with anything, they had already discarded the idea of throwing them out, drinking them was also clearly out of the table, maybe they could give them to someone - but who’s gonna want to take some drink that had already been drunked a little - and clearly they couldn’t just leave them untouched or their unnies would ask again the same thing as Sana.

Feeling as if they were on a hallway with no end they started panicking in the middle of the store, every step, voice or sound was coming from their unnies, soon they would find out that they were actually just two little kids, and they would never want to hang out with them anymore. Hot tears started coming out of their eyes, the anxiety was too much to handle, they just wanted to curl into little balls and bawl their hearts out, but that’s exactly what a little kid would do, and they were trying to prove how mature they are.

That’s how MiSaMo found them, standing in the middle of the store crying next to their cart, the girls quickly went and hugged them, asking what was wrong or if something happened, this only made the tweens cry even harder not caring anymore if they looked like little kids.

When they finally were able to calm them down, Hyun spoke up, “Mianhae unnies, we really tried but we couldn’t!” cried out starting her sobs again, “Mian!! We understand if you don’t wanna hang out with kids like us!” was what Chaeng cried out, the japanese women were bewildered at the girls reaction. Suddenly something clicked inside Sana’s head, “It’s this because you didn’t like the drinks?” asked Sha, she got a confirmation when the girls cries got louder, “So this is because you didn’t like the drinks we bought earlier” said Mina trying to wrap her head around it.

The poor tweens were throwing out apologies in between sobs, until the laughter from their unnies made them stop - were they making fun of them? -, sensing this Momo spoke up, “We’re not making fun of you, it’s just that it really isn’t a big deal. Mina doesn’t drink a lot of things and we still hang out with her” spewed out laughing again.

“Yeah, Mina has the taste buds of a kindergartener but we still like her” blurted Sana between laughs, “Yahh!!! Why are you bullying me?!” yelled out Mina with a frowny pout on her face, thankfully this made the tweens finally smile, “So you think it’s funny how they bully me?!” asked Mina clearly upset at everyone laughing at her expense.

“No, no, no!! We’re not laughing at you unnie. We are just relieved that you still like us” said Hyun with teary laughs joined by Chaeng nodding her head, “How about we go pay for our things and then we buy you new drinks, maybe Mina can join you with some milk” said Momo failing to contain her laugh at the last part.

“Yah Momoring!!” was the last thing heard before the girls made their way home.

notes ─ This is for the Sick prompt. I wrote this earlier than ever, today I decided to start being productive from an earlier time. I'm just like Lili when I'm sick, my mom tells me to stay in bed to rest, but I end up migrating to the couch or any place else 😅. Please enjoy :3

Getting sick would be any kid’s dream, just being able to stay in bed playing video games or watching TV will be the perfect day for any kid but not for this particular one, for Lisa having to stay in bed was something she despised. Due to her personality she preferred to be running around, jumping through the place, making a mess rather than to stay in bed resting, so when her Mommy sent her to bed when she tried to get up earlier she was mad.

It wasn’t that normal for Lisa to get up that early, when it happened her Mommy or Mama would tell her to go play for a little while and eat some breakfast, but this time Mommy had told her to go back to bed, saying something about how You have a fever Lalisa, you need the resting. I’ll warm up the porridge that Jen leave for you. 

She wanted no porridge, she wanted to get out of bed and play with her kitties, take Love or all the dogs out on a walk, and even do chores would be ideal rather than being stuck on her bed. She really tried to go back to sleep but her stuffy nose didn’t let her rest, also her tummy was aching… and has it always been this cold?.  

Giving up resting, she stood up grabbed her stuffed puppy, and draped her blankie around her shoulders, when she was ready she made her way to the kitchen to tag along with whatever Mommy was doing, upon arrival the only sound that came out of her mouth, was a tiny and raspy, “Mommy”.

Hearing her baby call for her Jisoo turned around and found Lisa standing at the kitchen entrance, the little girl looked so miserable and that broke Jisoo's heart, "Lisa-yah why are you out of bed? Let's tuck you in once again" said Soo leading the little back from where she came. Lisa put up resistance after a couple of steps letting her Mommy know she didn't want to go, "No Mommy, no sleep. P'ease stay with you" begged the little, "But you need to rest, I can't have you tiring yourself. You’ll only get worse instead of better, so you need to go to sleep” reasoned Soo.

“No sleep, ‘verything hurts. Stay with Mommy feel better?” whined the little sniffling, “You want to stay with me to feel better?” asked Soo getting a tiny nod as response, “Sure you can stay, let’s go to the kitchen to finish heating your breakfast” said the adult motioning for Lisa to follow her, but the little was tired and motioned to be picked up.

Not wanting the girl to fall and hurt herself from how weak she looked, she complied and picked up the girl placing her on her hip, as soon as she was safe in her Mommy’s arms Lisa snuggled into her chest hugging her puppy and putting her face near Mommy’s neck. Jisoo kept warming up the porridge before serving a portion into a bowl, put the fruits she had cut previously on a plate, and poured some apple juice into a sippy cup before taking everything to the table for Lisa to eat, not forgetting to take her own bowl of bibimbap to eat.

Jisoo ended up having to spoon-feed Lisa since the little girl seemed to not have any force left, when she deemed Lili had eaten enough she let the tired girl rest against her chest once more while she ate her own food.

After picking up everything left from their breakfast, Jisoo headed to the living room to sit on the reclining sofa and rest a little, she felt that the girl was getting a fever so she gave her some medicine before putting some cartoons on the TV to entertain her. Lili seemed to be fighting off falling asleep, Jisoo tried rocking her but to no avail, so she didn’t have any other option than to do whatever she needed with the little clinging to her like a baby koala.

Soo did some easy chores, she folded their clothes, washed the dirty dishes and fed their pets, there were more things to be done but they would be hard to do with the girl lodged on her hip. Soon came time to eat lunch, she had ordered some takeout for both of them, and once it arrived she also warmed up another bowl of porridge for her baby, once again she fed the little her food.

She tried to put down Lili for her afternoon nap but the poor girl couldn't fall asleep for more than a few minutes, her sneezes would wake her up and then she would complain of an upset tummy. Soo had a quiet time with her baby, just reading some book while listening to calm music so Lili could at least wind down a little bit.

After the failed nap time, Jisoo went back to doing little chores around the house, of course with Lili on her hip, since the girl was so clingy all throughout the day. Jennie would send messages asking how Lili was holding up, when Jisoo would tell her how she seemed so pitiful, both their heart's would break.

Once the night made itself present Soo proposed a bath to Lili to help her relax, but she still didn't want to let go of Mommy, so Soo promised to take the bath with her. The bath she prepared was a bubble one with some eucalyptus extract to help the little one with her stuffy nose, combined with some lavender to help them relax for the night.

After their bath, Soo carried the little girl to her and Jennie's room to get her dressed, she picked some warm but breezy pajamas and grabbed a diaper - it wasn't a common occurrence were the girls would use them, but now since Lili didn't seemed to have force to do a lot she decided it was a good precaution -.

Once both her and Lili were dressed and ready for bed, Jisoo gave her a warm bottle of milk that she had prepared previous to their bath. Then she proceeded to lay down with her baby resting on her chest and began singing a lullaby, while patting her bottom and rubbing her back in soothing motions.

When Lili had finally settled in for the night, Soo grabbed her switch to play while she waited for Jennie to come back, after Jen arrived she was quick to check on both of her loves and found them snuggled under the covers snoring the night away.

It took a couple days for the little girl to fully get rid of the sickness, but with the care from her Mommy and Mama, she was able to get through it.

Shucks, thanks a lot. Half the month have gone already, and I really feel proud of myself ❤️.

This is the first time I've been so consistent with anything, I'll try to keep like this until the month is over. Then I'll take a little break and try write a piece per week or so 😊😬.
