Lottie / Ellie

Soot Quantity : Medium

Soot Power - Soot bandages.

Lottie can create long strips of soot to make soot bandages to help patients with wounds, the soot bandages work extremely well and completely block off any chance of infection. These soot bandages can only be used on living dolls.

Lottie :

Lottie is a kind and compassionate shadow who cares and tends for others, this earning her the star bearer title even though she debuted not so long ago. Lottie is the leader of the relief team and spends most of her time either on star bearer or relief team duties. Lottie has a certain charm to her, not many shadows have a bad word to say about her. When Lottie has a little time off she enjoys dancing in the dance hall.

Lottie and Raymond were from the same debut class. Lottie really loves and cares for Raymond, she enjoys seeing a smile on his face.

Ellie :

Ellie is the living doll and face of Lottie. Strong willed and determined, Ellie’s goal is to master being the perfect face, living doll, member of the star bearers and relief team. Ellie is completely driven by the rules of the shadows house and under no circumstances will break them. When Ellie isn’t acting out Lottie’s emotions, she has a stern and serious look to her. Not many of the other living dolls like her as she’s very persistent about everything being perfect. Though she can be surprisingly compassionate at times.

Raymond/Ray

Raymond - Shadow

Soot Quantity : High

Soot Power : Destruction

Raymond’s soot has the potential to make items or even living dolls (not deadly) rot and decay, the process is on average extremely slow however when he’s stressed he destroys things faster. As such he wears gloves so his soot power destroys those first before harming anything or anyone.

Raymond is a nervous yet capable shadow who seems to be scared of almost everything. He spends his time either in the library reading or in the music room playing the cello, he’s had a hard time in the past deciding what hobby to pick up (and still does.)

Raymond and Lottie were from the same debut class, he has a massive crush on her ever since she helped him back at their debut. He has written out the form to apply for marriage but is too nervous to give it to her.

Ray - Living doll

Ray is the living doll and face of Raymond. Hesitant but dependable, once Ray has a goal in mind he’ll strive to get the job done as best as possible, he mostly just needs a little push. Ray often helps support Raymond while he freaks out about everything.

Another Shadows House Oc! Meet Eleanor and Ada

Eleanor / Ada

Soot Quantity : Medium

Soot Power : Gas

When Eleanor exhales she can use her soot power to irritate living dolls who are in its presence, with enough concentration and precision Eleanor can target certain living dolls while leaving others unharmed. When a living doll is in the presence of the soot gas they can experience loss of breath, difficulty breathing and skin irritation, the symptoms start mild and can get worse the longer the living doll is exposed.

(It cannot kill anyone! Just thought I’d add this incase anyone was curious.)

Eleanor :

Eleanor is a stern and serious shadow who has no time for those who are laid back or mess around. To Eleanor, everyday is a chance to improve for the sake of the shadow house, as such she spends most of her time in the library learning new things.

Ada :

Ada is the living doll and face of Eleanor. Quiet and diligent, Ada strides with Eleanor’s goals in mind to become better for the shadows house. There is a part of Ada however that does wish Eleanor would relax and try to have more fun.

Soot Power : Paralysis

If Clara’s soot is inhaled by a living doll she can paralyse the living doll's limbs, she can paralyse multiple limbs at a time but the more limbs she paralyses the harder it gets to concentrate and keep the soot power from dispersing.

Clara is a boastful and arrogant shadow who feels the need to always be the centre of attention. Clara enjoys spending time in the music room, busying herself with learning sheet music and practising multiple instruments.

Claire - Living doll

Claire is the living doll and face of Clara. She wants nothing but the best for her shadow master, even if she has to pull some strings behind the scenes. Smug and cunning, she shows no hesitation in belittling or using others' living dolls for her own status and benefit. She is the driving force behind Clara.

Because I can't believe I have to say this (read: because the eng version is THAT bad), here's some things that the translation royally messed up:

In Vil's school uniform, Cater does comment on Vil's eyelashes but he also calls him beautiful and instead of "am I dreaming" says he thought of dating him. Vil's response is "Dating me is more expensive than you know" and it ends with Cater giving up because he can't afford him. There's no price tag on dreaming about Vil, that would be stupid.

Jamil is dear to Kalim. Not as a brother. Not as a cousin. Kalim calls him best friend and talks about how they'll always be together. No family ties there.

Leona's kingdom isn't "all about respecting the ladies" but rather the ladies are dominant there, as usual in animal society. Leona and Ruggie don't "respect women," they are scared of them.

Thaumarks are called Madol.

Blastcycles are called Magiwheels.

Spelldrive is called Magical Shift/Magift.

Housewarden is stupid, they're dorm leaders.

They don't actually use the US school system and their ages don't match the system Aniplex is trying to push on them.

Just don't read anything Floyd or Cater say. Period. Most of it is so off and wrong that it's actually sad.

Sam originally has body-paint and a pattern on his vest that look like a skeleton.

Sebek is far more respectful to Malleus than Silver is and should be calling him Master Malleus or Young Master at all times.

A lot of these boys swear. Honestly, do yourself a favor and look up ACTUAL translations, not the censored bs you're being given.

Cater actually has two older sisters who used to dress him up like a girl when he was younger. They also made him hate sweets.
