Life hack. When you really need a good night, good luck, etc, just wish everyone you see the same. They'll likely say "you too!". If you say it to like 30 people, you'll get all their positive energy like a dragon ball spirit bomb. That's the real secret.

Today I was substitute teaching for middle school music and a group of girls was hanging out in my room during lunch, very vocally discussing their crushes, both male and female. The kids... The kids are right.

When writing my senior capstone theater project, I tied in my experience with imposter syndrome to my experience as an actor, and my advisor essentially tried to gatekeep imposter syndrome. Because apparently I'm faking imposter syndrome. Advanced level shit right here.

Except Jughead. I too would rather eat a cheeseburger than go on a date.
The characters I latch onto are, more often then not, hypersexual. In high school I identified hard with Barney Stintson, even when I knew I was demi. That was always one of my biggest sources of doubt. How can I not be straight when my favorite characters are?

[ID: The It’s my sleepover meme. Link from the Legend of Zelda holds the asexual flag over his head. To the right, text says “its my asexuality and I get to choose which characters to project it onto”. End ID]

Hey it’s ace week and you’re local ace has something to say! I’ve been out as ace for 3 years now and it’s still a big part of my identity that I’m proud of so here’s a lil something for those who need it!

Since middle school, I have performed in about 30 plays and musicals. Often with large roles. But I have only ever had anything resembling a love interest in 3. Can directors just intuitively tell that I don't have a romantic/sexual energy? Do I just walk into a room and tell everyone "hello be not afraid for I am a sexless sprite"
