Actually I used to think their like brothers 2 Hades but the more I thought about it, Rewatch episodes of The Hercules Series and Halloween with Hades and mostly reading your blogs. It makes WAY more sense that Hades sees them as his kids, I honestly don’t know what I was thinking but then.^^; I still have my head canon about Pain and Panic used to be little human boys before they met Hades. But as their relationship, I definitely see them as father and sons now.

Also can you imagine Hades, Pain and Panic going on a vacation, it would be like The Goofy Movie and National Lampoon Vacation Movies . =D

where did pain and panic from Disney Hercules came from?

here is my theory:

they are Hades sons, in some of the Hercules animated series both imps act like little kids with Hades, even asking him if they could have a pet AKA Cerberus, and are very happy when Hades says they did a good job. and a great example on their relationship is what panic tell Cassandra in Hercules and the spring of canathus: and this exactly what he says:

panic: awwww you really care for me, nobody cares about me but Hades but even that is tough love

so does that mean did Hades raise them or is their dad because both imps have Hades's personality some days example:

pain: bossy, gets mad easy, stubborn, has a soft spot for love (cupid arrow episode)

panic: (trys) gets the job done, gets excited over deathmatchs and torture, has a bit of a soft spot for soft things (underworld takeover), and is that smile that none would thinks that would see in the underworld

i bet their mother was killed/cursed by Hera who thought pain and panic's mom was pregnant with Zeus's kids not Hades, and when their mom died panic would have been 1 and pain would have been 4 (so in immortal years they were 100 and 400 years old when their mom died) and pain witness the death of their mom when running away with panic, then Hades found them

and i bet you they were raised along side hermes who would have been 8 (800 years old) at the time

I don't really see Hades as Pain's and Panic's father but I do see all three of them as brothers. =D (Big Grin)

My theory on their backstory is that Pain and Panic were once human children, that never knew their parents and had a abusive aunt who didn't care about them but had to take care of them. They were also bullied by some nasty awful kids everyday until they were dared go into the underworld to steal something from Hades. When Hades saw them, he was very angry. The bullies ran away when heard Hades' screaming, Hades was about to fry them but Pain and Panic begging and sobbing to Hades to spare them and let them go. They ask if they can make a deal with Hades and Hades feeling pity for them, accepts their deal. The deal was to be his demon slaves for all eternity, they accepted and Hades turned them into demon imps.

Over the years, Hades started feeling sympathy and compassion to the young thieves.

They were sweet, kind, funny and caring to Hades, they were only ones who actually care about him (Aside from Hades' mother)

Hades always made sure Pain and Panic were safe, happy and loved. Heart

In a brotherly way though, I think Hades didn't wanted to be their dad but was okay with the idea of being a big brother.

Heck, I think Pain and Panic are more like brothers/family to Hades then his biological older brothers, Zeus and Poseidon.

But that's just my opinion.
