Hi, di you think there should be a Disney prince franchise? I mean, the guys deserve some love...

That would be fun! I think the closest they ever got was the Disney Heroes and Disney Adventurers brand, this TikTok goes into depth about them and I found it super interesting!!

I feel like mid to late 2010’s (Think Oh My Disney/Wreck it Ralph 2 Era) there was a push of Disney Prince themed merch, like there were some designer bags of Flynn/Eugene, Aladdin, and Eric (separate bags of each Prince though, not all three together), and I remember there being a hot topic or Oh My Disney backpack or something in the last few years that had all the princes together on it, too!

I think the market for Disney Princes as like a brand would work best for adults or older teens if they did decide to make something more official or more merchandise like that☺️I would of course love it, I had bought the Flynn/Eugene purse when it came out it was very cool imo😂

I feel like the prince lineup would include at least all the princes or love interests from the princess movies whether officially a prince or not, and then probably similar to the Disney Heroes/Adventurers lineup like add in Hercules, Tarzan, etc.

I looked up that one backpack and saw they included Kronk on there which is so funny and fine with me haha he can be a prince, too, just for fun. & Robin Hood very much acts like a prince and I think maybe becomes one technically..like if Maid Marian is related to the King he would at least become royalty kind of right?

Which Disney couples would be best parents and why?

Ooh that’s such a fun question!!

If these couples decided or wanted to have kids at some point (I genuinely feel they would be happy/fulfilled either way, but I guess for the royalty couples they might be expected to for the kingdom or whatever) I think they would be awesome parents:

Rapunzel & Eugene, probably because of what happened in that one Tangled the Series episode when their friends were transformed into kids and they had such trouble at the beginning because of their opposite approaches (Rapunzel being super gentle & Eugene being super strict) and then ultimately realizing the value and need for a balance of both styles ☺️ they would get to become the parents they deserved growing up omg I’m getting emotional😅

Another one I thought of would be Tiana & Naveen! I feel like Naveen would be the sweetest dad and Tiana would love to teach their child to cook like her dad taught her🥹 They both learned such great lessons and grew so much as people in the film that I feel like they would do a great job if they decided to have a kid!

Cinderella is also such a warm and comforting character that I feel like she would be the best mom🩵& also I feel like she wouldn’t put up with any misbehavior, like how she had that subtle sass and firmness when dealing with the other characters’ shenanigans in the film, haha. Plus Prince Charming in the third movie is also great so like, power couple, they would be awesome!

🧡Thoughts on Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge: Black Spire Novel by Delilah S. Dawson🧡

In the book, the main character Vi is on a mission to recruit people for the resistance (this takes place after The Last Jedi so there is like hardly anyone left) and it is just so difficult. At least at first, no one wants to risk their lives or even thinks they need to since they feel pretty far removed from the first order anyways. It really made me think of how sometimes sharing the gospel can be like that, how many people don’t think they need to be saved, or don’t think choosing Jesus is worth it, and like yeah, choosing that path or choosing to “join the resistance” (lol I KNOW that sounds just so cheesy ahaha) is super hard, and it is dangerous (in some places just culturally/socially/or whatever, but in other places literally physically dangerous), but it’s still the right thing. Loving people and putting others before you is still the right thing, and maybe not very many people will want to but we should still try because everyone makes that choice and if they do they will be forever changed for the better!

It’s not a perfect metaphor and of course I realize it’s not necessarily the intention of the author or anything but that is something I got out of it and really enjoyed thinking about!

Overall I really did like the story and especially loved learning all the Galaxy’s Edge lore since I had recently visited Batuu for the first time and then felt like I got to “go back” when I read the book☺️it was entertaining & emotional & I thought it went really well with the story they have set up in the parks as kind of like a prequel to what is the in-universe story there.

I love reading about Star Wars and would love to chat with anyone about anything either in the novels or just Star Wars in general!! I hope you have the best day & May the Force be with you✨

🌟I made a blog specifically for student-teaching related posts + reflections🥳In case anyone was interested, lol! 

August/September 2020:

I survived my first month of Student-Teaching!

🌟2 weeks of Professional Learning

🌟2 weeks of Virtual Learning (Well let’s be honest, 1, because of a Hurricane and technology issues taking out the first one)

I absolutely love my new cooperating teachers (they are so welcoming & fun!!) & am so excited to be working with their 3rd grade classes this semester!

I am SO ! THANKFUL ! that Jesus was with me the whole entire time. In the preceding months (June, July, Early August) I genuinely had no idea how or if I would make myself do this. I was overcome with anxiety and so afraid of how things would be with the virus and being around so many people for the first time since March, and of course I still have concerns for when students start coming in person, but I really was amazed at how God helped me to trust that no matter what happens this year, because I know I am doing what He called me to, it will be worth it and ultimately work together for good (even if it is super hard, scary, and uncomfortable at times).

I know that I will continue to learn so much, so I started this blog to have a cute way to share and document some of my experiences, as well as a place to spam-post cute things I see on Instagram from amazing artists like the one I’ve linked to this post!!
