Fear Of The Known
Lucifer x Fem!Angel!Reader
|Chapter Three|
Tumblr media
Michael was starting to act like his old self again. He was leaving his home more, and even spending more time with his brothers.
Speaking of.
Y/n never thought she'd be around Michael as much as she had since that day. Dare she even say, she and him were growing fairly close. Sure, they had been friends for a long time, but it was never like this. Spending more time with each other, having long talks, and just being in each other's company.
Y/n was grateful for Michael's company more than anything. She needed someone else to mourn with, at least, that's how it was at the start. Now, she felt the need to be with him just to simply be with him.
Yes, they had truly became closer friends overtime. And Michael was just as grateful for Y/n being around. He had his brothers, he had his heavenly father, but he was glad he had someone to call friend.
Together, they would slowly move on from Lucifer. Though, they would never forget him.
They made each other happy, comforted each other during rough times. Maybe things can finally go back to the way they were.
A sudden gasp left Y/n, alerting Michael. "What is it?" He asks. Y/n blinks a few times, putting a hand to her head. "It's Lucifer..."
Or maybe not.
Michael's expression fell. "What about him?" Y/n looks to Michael, and quietly answers.
"He and Lilith will soon have a daughter."
There was a look of shock on Michael's face. "A daughter?" Y/n nods. "Charlotte Morningstar, is her name. In just two months, she will be born."
Michael furrowed his brows, he fell silent as he was thinking. After a moment he exhales. "Do you see any possible threat coming from this?" He asks. Y/n shakes her head. "No, at least, not now."
"Alright then." Michael starts. "Then we should tell the others immediately."
"Right. Sera should know what to do next." Y/n says. "Actually, Y/n." Michael sighs. "I believe we should inform father before anyone else."
Y/n froze. She had not spoken to God in person for quite some time. Not since Lucifer fell...
"You're nervous." Michael places a hand on her shoulder. "That's an understatement." Y/n sighs shakily. "Lucifer was his son...and because I chose not to speak up, he's gone."
Michael offers her a comforting smile. "Y/n. You know my father, he is one of, if not, the most forgiving being there ever was. If I, and my brothers forgave you. Then I know he has. I will stay with you while you speak with him, if that will help?"
Y/n smiles a bit. "It would. Thank you, Michael."
"Of course, Y/n. Now, let's be off." Michael says as he takes her hand in his. The two of them were teleported inside of God's palace, just outside of his throne room.
Y/n inhaled and exhaled shakily, but she became slightly less tense as she felt Michael's hand gently squeeze hers.
"Are you ready?" Asked Michael. Y/n takes one more deep breath. "I am." Michael knocks at the door, and after a moment, someone called from the other side.
"Come in."
Michael and Y/n entered the room, ahead of them stood Galim. And right next to them, was none other than God himself. He easily towers at a towering ten and a half feet tall.
Upon noticing the two, God smiled brightly. "Ah, Michael! Hello my son!" He greets with open arms. Michael smiles and approaches him, leading Y/n along.
"And Y/n, always a pleasure to see you, dear!" God nods his head to her. Y/n looked up at him and tried her best to return the smile without seeming nervous. "It's nice to see you too, your majesty." She says respectfully.
God waved his had with a scoff. "None of that royal formalities, please. We're all friends here."
"Right." Y/n cleared her throat. She nervously glanced over to Michael, who gave her an encouraging nod. "Um, I apologize for showing up unannounced. But, I have news to share of the future. It's highly important."
"Of course." God says with a grin. "It involves Lucifer, I'm afraid." Y/n says cautiously. The smile on God's face fell, he was silent for a moment. Even Galim looked shocked by the news, they glanced up at God worryingly.
"And, what of him?" He asks.
"In two months time, his wife Lilith, will give birth to a baby girl named Charlotte Morningstar." Y/n explains. "So far, I see nothing we should need to fret over. Especially not while she is an infant. I can not say anything more than that for now."
God inhales and turns away from the three. Galim and Michael both looked concern, while Y/n was on the verge of panic.
This was fine. She needed to do this. She did the right thing, telling God about this. And yet, she couldn't help but worry about what he might do next...
But she did the right thing.
She couldn't let what happened before ever happen again. She tried to protect Lucifer before, and looked where it got him. Look what's happened to Heaven's progress, and the Earth now corrupted beyond repair. All because she did not speak up.
She did the right thing.
She did.
"Thank you for telling me, Y/n." God finally spoke. Y/n nods. "Of course."
"I suppose there is nothing we can do but what and see what will become of Lucifer's daughter in the future. Speaking of..." God turns to face Y/n again. "I'm sorry to ask, but I'd like it if you would look into the future of Charlotte Morningstar from now on. And please keep me informed."
"Yes, of course." Y/n tells him.
"If that is all?" God wonders. Michael nods. "Yes. Thank you for seeing us, father." He reaches for Y/n’s hand, ready to take her home. But before he could, God spoke again.
"Before you go, Y/n, may I speak with you for a moment? Privately."
Y/n's heart stopped for a moment. But she remained calm on the outside. "Alright."
Galim starts off out of the room, they noticed Michael hesitating before slowly following after.
After they left, God sighed before slumping on his throne. He brought a hand to his head. "Well, I suppose I am happy Lucifer isn't alone down there. He's even starting a family of his own." The smallest of smiles grew on his face, a sad one however. "Looks like I'm going to be a grandpa. It's a shame I can't congratulate him personally..."
There was that guilty feeling again. "I'm...I'm sorry." Y/n starts. "I should have done more to prevent him from going to that meeting. Maybe he'd still be here, if I had."
God moved his hand onto his lap. "I don't think anyone could have prevented him from going. Not even me." He chuckles. "Lucifer was a dreamer like none other. He'd stop at nothing to accomplish what he's reaching for." There was a fond smile on God's face. "He was truly one of my greatest creations."
Y/n felt tears gathering in her eyes. "He was." She says softly.
"Y/n. Back then, was there any future you saw where Lucifer's dreams became reality?" God asks. Y/n thinks back, after a moment she answers.
"One." She starts, smiling weakly. "And he looked so happy."
God was silent, smile still on his face, but Y/n did not miss the slight tremble in his shoulders.
Or the tears that threatened to fall from his eyes.
Tumblr media
Y/n did as she was told, and kept tabs on Charlotte's future. So far so good. There was nothing that Heaven should be concerned about. Speaking of Charlotte, it wasn't long after she was born that all of Heaven knew who she was.
But again, Charlotte posed no threat to them. At least, not so far.
Throughout her childhood, and even into her adulthood, Charlotte was...surprisingly nice.
Really nice. To nice.
She lived in Hell all her life, and yet, she was the sweetest demon down there. It baffled everyone in Heaven. How could a demon be nice? Not only nice. But caring, merciful, pleasant, and so on.
And all of her own choice. She was never taught to be that way, she just, is.
But what bewildered Y/n the most, was what she would learn next of Charlotte's future.
"A hotel? To rehabilitate sinners?" Sera scoffs. "This is unheard of. No demon can be redeemed."
Sera was the second person you've told about this. God already knew about Charlotte's new project and seemed...confused? He definitely was shocked, there was no doubt about that.
"Charlotte seems to be very passionate about it." Y/n starts. "She even manages to get two people on board with this project of hers. Maybe even three. One who has an immense amount of power."
"An immense amount of power, you say?" Sera hums. "Y/n. Look further, please. I need to know just what we are to expect out of that...project."
"I'll try." Y/n says before closing her eyes. So far, she saw the same future as before. Charlotte Morningstar opens a hotel to rehabilitate sinners. Two others join her. A woman and a man. Then another man, one who radiates raw demonic power.
Y/n tries to look further down the line. Two more show up, significantly weaker than the previous man. Then there is Charlotte again, she's meeting with someone.
Y/n focusing in on who she's talking to. When she realizes who it is, her eyes shoot open.
"What is it?" Asks Sera.
"Charlotte Morningstar will arrive in Heaven. Very soon."
Sera looked puzzled for a moment before her expression returned to neutral. "I see. I will bring this up with Adam personally, thank you Y/n. That will be all."
"But, don't you need to know why?" Y/n asks. "No. If I can help it, this meeting will be avoided entirely. Now, I must speak with Adam, so if you'll please..." Sera says dismissively.
Y/n was confused, but decided to take her leave anyhow. Technically, Sera and the other Seraphims had authority above her. Y/n didn't want to push her luck by disobeying, and risk upsetting the head Seraphim.
Otherwise, Y/n would have questioned Sera as to why now she didn't want to know as much as about the future as possible. Surely Charlotte Morningstar meeting with the first man would raise some questions.
So why wouldn't Sera want to know why the meeting between them was called? Sera most certainly wouldn't have called for it. None of the Archangels would have any reason to. Even God wouldn't have done something like that.
Not unless there was a reason.
Y/n could help but feel like something was off...

Prey | Chapter Six
Tumblr media
Alastor x Fem!Reader
Warning: Sexual Harassment, Attempted Sexual Assault Nonconsensual Touching
Tumblr media
You make your way backstage, still smiling brightly and feeling high off praise from the audience. Mimzy was awaiting you, the same smile on her face. "You we're amazing out there, doll! I can already tell, you are going to draw in lots of folks after tonight!" She tells you. "You think so? I was so nervous at first! But when I heard them clapping, I felt so...Oh, I shouldn't get a big head about this. It was only my first performance." You say with a light laugh.
"Get a big head all ya want, doll!" Mimzy lightly elbows you. "You're phenomenal! And I know a certain someone will agree with me." You give her a confused look. "Who?" You ask. "Who else? Al, of course! He's the one who begged me to give you a chance. Now I see why. Sure, you're cute, me and him don't doubt that. But your voice is what really sells it."
Cute? Alastor thinks you're...No. No way. Mimzy's just teasing. You decide to brush it off. "Well, I'm glad he did beg you. I've never felt more proud!"
"And I've never been more proud!" Came Alastor's voice from behind Mimzy. You both look over towards him as he approaches. "Dear, you were stunning! You really gave it your all!" Alastor tells you. You couldn't help but smile at his words, despite the dull ache in your chest. "Thank you, Alastor. My heart's still pounding."
"I imagine so." Alastor chuckles. "So Mimzy, what do you think?" He asks the shorter woman. "Oh, I think I want her sticking around. Doll, I want you here tomorrow night."
"Tomorrow night? So soon?" You nearly exclaim. "Of course! You're gonna be a star, you need to give the people what they want!" Mimzy smirks. "So, what do ya say?" You glance at Alastor, who seemed to leave the choice up to you. Though, you didn't miss the small encouraging nod from him.
To think, you'd get this feeling again if you said yes. You'd sing, they'd cheer, and repeat. Why wouldn't you say yes? And so...
"Yes, absolutely!"
Tumblr media
That evening, you decided to go to your soon to be old place of work, to tell your boss that you'd be quitting. Of course, Alastor insisted he come along, and not wanting to argue, you let him. You didn't mind. You were a little s to scared do this anyway. If your boss acted the way he did when you told him you couldn't come in, how would he react to you quitting?
You'd soon find out, as you stop in front of the diner. You look to Alastor and excused yourself as you walked inside. You found your boss and approached him after taking a deep breath.
"Excuse me sir?"
"Y/n, where the hell have you been?" Your boss asks with a huff. "You had better have a good excuse to why you haven't shown up." You tried to keep a calm expression as you spoke. "Yes, I do. I found a new job, and I'd like to give you my two week's notice." The look on your boss' face was unreadable. Then he spoke.
"Come with me, we can discuss this in private." He says, turning and walking towards the back of the diner. You hesitate. His tone didn't sound bothered, but you could feel something wasn't right.
"Y/n!"
You flinch before hurrying to catch up with him. You followed him out the back exit, he shut the door when you walked out. He then took out a cigar from his pocket and lit it before taking a few puffs. "You want to quit? Why?"
"Well, like I said, I found a new job. And, I can't afford to miss any days so I-"
"What kind of job is it?" Your boss cut you off. You answer. "I sing down at Mimzy's lounge now." Your boss let out a short laugh, taking the cigar between his finger and thumb. "You're some sort of performer now? Is that it?"
You nod. "Yes. I liked working here, but, I really like singing. And I really think I can go places doing what I love." You explain. Your boss took another long drag before discarding the cigar. He stomped it out roughly, a grin on his face.
"Is that right?"
You slowly nod and take a step back. "I'll...I'll be going now."
"Just a minute."
You shift uncomfortably but stayed. Before you could ask him what he wanted, he began to take a few steps towards you. "If this is really the last time I'll be seeing you. Why not leave me with a parting gift?" His question made your heart sink.
You froze, unable to think of what to say. He grew closer until he had you backed against the door. You flinched when you felt his hand grab at your chin, and his other being placed at your hip. "Surely, you owe me that much? After all, I was so gracious enough to let you work here for as long as you have been. Besides, you've always been my favorite gal."
Your body began to tremble, your breath caught in your throat. As he leaned in closer, as his grip on your hip harden, you shut your eyes tightly and silently plead for help.
Thankfully whatever god out there was listening, as your boss was being jerked away from you. You open your eyes to see Alastor gripping his shirt by the collar. Your breath finally returned to you.
"My good man, I do believe you were making the lady uncomfortable." Said Alastor with a grin. Though, that grin was anything but pleasant. There was something twisted behind that grin. "Now, if you don't mind..." Alastor roughly pushed the man away. "Get lost! Oh and..."
"If I ever find you near her again...I'll make you regret the day you were born. Understand?"
Your boss glared at Alastor, he opened his mouth to say something, but Alastor beat him to. "Ah, ah! We wouldn't want to get the authorities involved, now do we? Who do you think they'll believe? Some dirty, lowlife that just assaulted a defenseless young woman? Or one of the most beloved and persuasive radio hosts in the city?" He smirks at your boss's inability to create a comeback.
"Whatever. The bitch wasn't worth my time anyway." Your boss grumbled as he stormed past the two of you. Alastor's grin twitched, and he started for the man. However, you stopped him by grabbing onto his sleeve.
Alastor looked down at you, his grin nearly disappearing at the sight of you. There were tears in the corner of your eyes, light sniffles left you, and your hands shook violently. "Oh, Y/n..." Alastor says softly before bringing you into his embrace. "Come on, let's get you home."
"Alastor?" You ask with a weak voice. "Yes, darling?" He hums. "Can you stay with me for a while? I don't want to be alone right now. H-He knows where I live and-"
"Of course. Say no more." Alastor pulls away to look at you again. "I'll stay with you as long as you need me to." The tears you tried to hold back all came falling down. Hid your face in Alastor's chest as you wept, he rubbed your back soothingly as he hushed you. "Now, now. Don't waste your tears on that mongrel. I promise you, he will never be a nuisance for you again." Alastor held you tighter before speaking.
 "I'll make sure of it..."
"Using your fame to get your way is most unbecoming of you, Alastor." You joke, trying to distract yourself. Alastor chuckled. "Yes, you're right. But in these cases, I don't mind to pull the fame card. Now, let's leave this horrid place."
Tumblr media
"Pardon the mess." You say as you walk into your apartment. "I didn't have much time to tidy up these last couple of days."
"No worries, dear. I understand." Alastor reassures you as he follows you inside. "Ah, this old place brings back such pleasant memories." He sighs. You smile lightly. "Yeah. Spent a lot of time here, didn't you?"
"Indeed. It wasn't mine, but you and your parents made it feel like home." Alastor says softly, he then chuckles. "You remember when you first brought me here to meet your folks?" He asks. Your smile grew. "Yes, daddy was so skeptical of you. Oh, it was so embarrassing." You say with a light shake of your head.
"What was it he said?" Alastor ponders. "Ah yes, 'If you hurt my baby I'll kick your butt from here to Texas.'. Is that about right?"
You put a hand to your head and sighed, though you couldn't help but keep your smile. "Yes. Ugh, I can't believe he said that to you. Momma wasn't any better."
"Yes! She said she'd get his good boots so he could do it!" Added Alastor, causing you both to laugh.
"Your folks were good people, Y/n." Alastor says after the laughing died down. "I do miss them." You nod your head. "I miss them too. And, you know, they weren't the only ones. Your mother, she was a decent woman. She was always so kind to me."
Alastor smiles fondly at the memory of his mother. "She was a very good lady. I miss hear dearly." You place a hand on his arm. "I still remember the first day I met her. I knew then, just who Alastor got his good looks and killer charm from."
Alastor chuckles. "Oh, is that right?"
"Yep. She barely questioned me at all, just invited me right on into her home. And, I remember how much she said she loved my hair. I'd let her brush it and style it whenever she asked." You sigh. "Never found a better hairdresser after her."
"There's always me. I inherited her looks and charm, after all. Perhaps I was gifted that talent too." Alastor says with a smirk. You sent him a light glare. "No sir. I'm sorry Al, you are a man of many talents, but styling hair is not one of them."
"I see you're still mad about last time. That one time." Alastor sighs dramatically.
"You made me look insane! I'd never have gotten those tangles out, if not for your mother!" You say swatting his arm gently. "I'm still wondering if you did it on purpose..."
"You mistake me for some sort of rascal!" Alastor places a hand to his chest, in mock offense. "You are a rascal, sir." You smirk. "I see the way you charm the women of this city."
"Me? A lady killer? That's simply unheard of!" You roll your eyes at his dramatic tone. "Couldn't be! After all, my charm has not worked on all the ladies." You look up at him, he leans towards you slightly. "It seems there's one who is seemingly unaffected by me."
You blush as he grew closer. "A-And who might that be?" You mutter. "Why...Mrs. Thompson of course!" Alastor says, backing off from you. "I don't believe anyone can swoon her, other than her own husband of course. But Hell, even then, they act as if they don't know what romance is! That's older folks for you."
You blink. Did he really just...
"Hey Alastor? Can I ask you something?" Alastor nods his head. "Of course."
"Are you doing that on purpose?" You ask, Alastor tilts his head slightly. "Doing what?"
"That, what you just did a few seconds ago. What you've been doing since we were teenagers." You say, only confusing Alastor more. You sigh and turn away from him. "Never mind. It's nothing. It was silly of me to think that you...Yeah, just never mind it."
Alastor took your hand and turned you back to face him. "What is it you want to ask me, Y/n?" His tone was serious, even his smile toned down greatly. You felt your heart begin to pick up in your chest. Oh boy. You supposed it was now or never. Time to dive head first into delusion.
"Do you like me?"

This was so good!!!❤️❤️❤️
I love a badass reader who doesn’t take shit from anyone!
Imagine Being a Lady Dimitrescu-esk Overlord and Being in Love With Alastor
Alastor x Overlord! Reader
Summary: What happens when you attend a meeting, and get insulted by Velvette. Spoiler, it doesn't end well for her.
@doe-eyed-fool- this was their idea and I do not want to take credit for it (If you see this I hope you enjoy!)
Trigger Warnings: Canon-Typical Violence, Dead Angel, Talk of the Purge
Words Count: 508
Your heels clicked as you strutted your way into the elevator that would take you to the floor the rest of the Overlords were meeting on. Something about the purge leaving territory open potentially. So there you were in an empty meeting room, where you sat down and waited for the rest of them to arrive.
Slowly people arrived with Carmilla and her daughters emerging from behind a curtain. The metallic smell of angelic weaponry permeated the air wherever the trio went and here was no exception. Soon Zestial and Alastor made their appearances, with Zestial sitting by Carmilla and Alastor sitting between you and what will be Rosie's seat.
Before sitting down he took your hand in his and placed a kiss on your knuckles. Sweetly you showed him a smile with sharp fangs that could tear through even the most powerful demons and, although you've never been given the chance to try, possibly powerful hellborn as well. You set your hand back in your lap and he took his seat next to you.
Once everyone had arrived your idle chatter with Alastor and Rosie ceased, and you began to listen to what Carmilla had to say. That was before Velvette, the newest addition to the Vees, slammed the door open and scrolled through her phone as she spoke.
Soon an argument between the most powerful overlord and Velvette took place, and everyone knew whose side they were on. Until an exorcist's head was thrown on the table and Carmilla looked, scared almost.
"Sorry group attendin'. Since when are overlords too scared to fight? You're long past trendin'. Sorry, bae, but I ain't swipin' right. You lost your relevance" Most of this insult was hurled in your direction, and this is when you had enough.
Your clawed hand found its way around Velvette's soft throat, "What did you just say?"
You stood to your full height which was almost to the ceiling, which when you came around a long time ago was raised specifically for you, and Velvette's feet desperately searched for the table which was a good foot below her.
You licked your fangs as you indulged in the fear in Velvette's eyes. She looked utterly terrified, and only when you felt the shadowy hand of Alastor on your forearm, did you shrink down and throw Velvette back on the table.
"Sorry, hon, I just couldn't help myself" You chuckled as you licked the pricks of Velvette's blood from the tips of your claws, and she clambered away from you.
Alastor set his hand on yours, "No, it was absolutely marvelous, darling, but no bloodshed at meetings"
"Oops, I guess I've just been around a long time and must've forgotten. I'm sorry Carmilla," Carmilla smirked in your direction and continued to lecture Velvette on why the Overlords would not be attacking angels on the possibility of someone killing just one.
Velvette's hands still shook and she wouldn't look in your direction, and when she left you gave her a cheery clawed wave and a fanged smile.

Fallen {Chapter Twenty Eight}
Alastor x (Fem)Reader
Tumblr media
Warning: Kidnapping, Violence (Vox hits reader), Threats Of Dismemberment/Torture (nothing actually happens tho)
A groan left me as the world finally came back into view, maybe a bit too fast, I shut my eyes tightly and tried to fight off the nausea I felt. I inhaled deeply a few times before slowly opening my eyes again.
I was somewhere I didn't recognize, it looked like a empty room. Nothing but a door ahead of me, and a small window on the wall to my right. It was the only thing lighting the room.
I tried to move, but was quickly stopped by a slight tug. I furrow my brows and look up, my arms had been raised above my head, and my wrists tied together by cuffs, held up by chains that were securely tied to the hooks in the ceiling.
I gasped sharply, it was muffled however, by the rag tied against my mouth. I tried my wings next, but the joints were cuffed as well, preventing me from flapping them.
My breathing became forced and erratic as panic finally set in fully. I tugged harshly at the chains, trying to free myself, but it was of no use.
My legs felt weak as well, I tried to move them, but they were about as useful as my arms, despite not being tied down.
What the fuck was happening!? Where was I!?
Suddenly the door to the room opened, and in walked a familiar looking overlord. "You awake?" He asked before flipping the light switch on. "Good...Now we can get to know each other." He approaches me and crouches to my level.
"I know we've met before. But I think we should start over, we're gonna be seeing a lot of each other from now on so..." He chuckles darkly.
"The name's Vox, nice to meet you."
"Aw, don't look so scared." Vox said with false pity. "I'm not gonna hurt you. Not yet anyway." He smirks. "I'm just gonna keep you here until your little boyfriend shows up. That asshole has been screwing around with me for too long. It's about time I put an end to that radio fucker, and you, are just what I need to do it."
I furrow my brows, I was worried of course and no doubt scared for my own safety. But now I was angry too.
"Wanna say something?" Vox tilts his head, he reaches for the rag at my mouth and pulls it down. "Go ahead then."
"You think just because you kidnapped me, that Alastor won't tear you apart?" I ask. "You underestimate him, if you believe that." Vox laughs at my words. "If he doesn't want you loosing a few limbs, he will come here and behave. If he doesn't, well, that'll be one thorn out of my side."
"Don't you dare hurt him. I don't care what happens to me, you can do whatever you want, but do not hurt Alastor." I say, tugging at the chains slightly.
"Oh, I don't need anything from you. Though, my associate might. I'm sure you've heard of him, and I'm sure you know how popular his films are." He could only mean Valentino. Oh god...I would rather die...
"You won't get away with this. Alastor will come here and rip you limb from limb. And telling from this kidnapping act, you like to play cheap. I bet that's why you're doing this. You can't match up to Alastor."
Vox delivered a harsh slap to my face after that. I failed to hold back a yelp as my head was forced to the side from the blow. I could feel the sharp sting blossoming in my cheek.
"Keep talking shit, and I won't be so forgiving next time." He stood up fully and looked out of the window. "I tried to get that dumbass hell hound to bring you here. But I guess he fucked off somewhere."
Hell hound? Did he mean Liam? Liam was in on this? I guess that would explain why he was at the hotel in the first place.
"Anyhow! I feel like we should start moving things along now. I'm sure he's noticed you're gone, so, how about we give him an idea of where you are. Speed things up, you know?"
"Let's see...maybe I could send him a finger or two? Or maybe one of those pretty eyes of yours?" He grins wickedly. I tried not to let my fear show, but it was clear by the shaking of my hands and shoulders. Vox's eyes trailed down. "That'll do."
I follow his gaze, my eyes falling upon my necklace. I gasp and try to move away as he reached down. "No! No, stay away!" I yelled. "Relax, will ya? I'm just taking the necklace. What? Did he give it to you? How cute." He says bitterly before grabbing at it. "No!" I cry just as he ripped it from my neck.
And just like that, my true form was revealed...
"What...the fuck!?" Vox exclaims.
If I wasn't panicked before, I definitely was now. My true form, my angel wings on display for Vox to witness. This wasn't good. This was the absolute last things I wanted to happen. What would he do to me now that knows? I couldn't look at him, I kept my eyes glued to the floor as I drew ragged breaths.
Vox then began to laugh.
"Fucking really!?" He cackles. "Well no wonder he likes you so much! You're an angel! Oh that's priceless!"
Vox's laughter died down slowly. He crouched back down and grabbed my chin, jerking my head up to face him. "You are both so fucked..."
"Alastor!" Mimzy shouts, before dodging a person being thrown her way. "Damn it Alastor! Calm down, you're making a mess of things!" She calls up at the now titanic sized radio demon. Tendrils grown from his back, were the cause of the randomly tossed objects and unfortunate demons in the way.
This had been going on for several minutes. He was beyond frantic, beyond worried. He wasn't thinking clearly, he was far too distraught for that.
"Don't you tell me to calm down!" Alastor yelled back. "Y/nis missing!"
"Well you're not gonna find her all worked up like this! Get down here and use your head!" Mimzy demanded. Alastor knew she was right, though it didn't make him any less frazzled. He did as she said however, and returned to his normal form.
Now it was just them in the empty longue. Alastor did feel a little bad about causing such a commotion in Mimzy's lounge, of all places. He let his anger and worry get the best of him, and it controlled his every movement. Blinded him from what was going on around him.
He was so upset by this...and he was scared...
"Where could she be?" Alastor's voice cracked slightly. "She wouldn't have just left on her own..." Mimzy didn't like seeing Alastor like this. She was worried too, but she knew it was nowhere near what he felt. "Isn't there any way of contacting her?" She asks.
"You know I don't own a cell phone. She doesn't either..."
Mimzy narrowed her eyes. "Isn't she from the modern era? Why doesn't she have a phone? You know what, never mind. Let's just stay calm and focus alright? Is there any place she might go to that you know of?"
"Other than the hotel, no." Alastor answers. "Alright, let's start there." Just as Mimzy said that, her phone rang. She looks at it then to Alastor. "Speak of the devil." She answers it. "Hello?"
'Hey, Mimzy? Is Alastor with you?' It was Charlie on the other end. The two had exchanged numbers the last time Mimzy had visited the hotel, to see Alastor.
"He is." Mimzy tells her.
'Well, a package showed up for him here at the hotel. It's pretty weird looking...We didn't want to mess with it. But I think it's from VoxTek, which is why it's weird. Alastor isn't really tech savvy you know?'
Mimzy hold the phone away from her to speak to Alastor. "It's Charlie, she says you have a package at the hotel, from VoxTek."
The loud screech of a record skipping made Mimzy wince. Before she could get a word in, Alastor had sunken into the shadows and disappeared. She sighs before speaking into the phone again.
"He's on his way. A word of advice, when he shows up...stay out of his way." Rage couldn't even begin to describe what Alastor felt the moment he opened that package. It was small, small enough to hold the necklace along with a few white feathers inside.
Vox knew...and now, Alastor wanted nothing more than to rip his soul apart, for even daring to lay his filthy hands on his beloved.
He should have known. Of course it was that bastard. Of course he would do something like this. Alastor swore right then and there, that he would invent a whole new form of pain, when he got his hands on that flat-faced motherfucker.

Fallen {Chapter Twenty Seven}
Alastor x (Fem)Reader
Tumblr media
Warning: Hypnosis, Kidnapping
Living with Alastor was a dream. Getting to wake up every morning to the person you love, truly was a wonderful thing. Getting Alastor to sleep though...was the hard part.
He told me he rarely ever slept, which confused me beyond belief. How did he function? I know he was a powerful overlord, but even they needed rest, didn't they? Needless to say, I was insistent on getting him to sleep.
But of course he was just as insistent on not sleeping. 'I don't need it' 'I'll be fine', he'd always say. But I'm not taking no for an answer. He may seem like he doesn't need it, but I fear one day he might snap because of it...worse than he already has that is-
"Alastor, you are getting in that bed and sleeping, even if I drag you by your ears!" I say firmly. Alastor looked down at me with a cocky grin. "Oh? And how do you plan on reaching up that high, darling?"
"You calling me short?" I raise an eyebrow.
"I'm not calling you tall." He teases.
"That's it." I mutter. "Either you go to bed right now or..." I pause to think, then a smirk formed on my face. "Or you're not allowed to touch me for a whole week. No hugging, no hand holding, and no kisses of any sort!"
"What...You're not serious." Alastor narrows his eyes. I cross my arms and look him dead in the eye. "Try me, deer boy."
Alastor's eye twitched. "Bold of you, threatening the radio demon like that...Just how do you intend on stopping me?"
I give a small shrug before turning and walking towards our shared bedroom. "I don't know. But if you do try, consider it raised to three weeks. And, I'll just ignore you for the whole duration."
I stop in my tracks and look back at him. "And if you still feel bold enough do it anyway, I'll move back to the hotel."
"Y/n!"
I giggle and keep walking, my grin widened when I heard him trail after me. I ignore him trying to reason with me as I walk to the master bathroom to get changed. "I won't take anything but "yes dear" for an answer, Alastor." I call from the other side of the door.
I then heard a groan from him, silence, and then a small-
"Yes dear..."
"Good boy!" I say as I finish getting dressed. I step out in a large shirt and pajama shorts. "Was that so hard?" I ask walking towards the bed. I could practically hear Alastor rolling his eyes.
"You should be happy." I say, setting on the soft bed. "You get to snuggle with me all night." I open my arms and made grabby hands, beckoning him towards me.
Alastor couldn't help but let out an airy laugh. With a snap of his fingers, he was changed into more comfortable clothes. Just a simple sleep shirt and sweatpants.
I had to admit, it was odd seeing him in clothes like this. He always looked so dapper, and now he was wearing what some other ordinary person would wear.
He joined me in bed, I didn't hesitate to cuddle up closer to him. "You're tense." I say quietly. "What's wrong?"
"Nothing's wrong, dear." Alastor said in the same hushed tone. "Come on, you can tell me. Is something bothering you?" I ask. Alastor sighs softly. "I guess I'm just not use to this. Especially sharing a bed with someone else."
"That's understandable." I start. "You've never dated anyone before, this is a big step for you. But you don't have anything to worry about. I'm not going to try anything."
Alastor turns on his side to face me. "And that doesn't upset you?" He asks. "I never thought to consider how you might feel about becoming more intimate."
I smile and place a hand on his cheek gently. "Alastor, I want us both to be comfortable in this relationship. If you don't want to do something like that, then we don't have to. I'll be fine, it's not like sex is the most important thing in a relationship."
"I know but, I'd like to make you as satisfied as possible. Whatever it may be. Are you truly ok with this?" He asked. "Yes Alastor. If you want to keep things like how they are, I will be fine with it. Or, if you ever decide to make that decision, I'll be open to it. Like I said, we both should feel comfortable with each other." I lean forwards and kiss the tip of his nose.
Alastor hums and wraps his arms around me, he then hides his face in my chest. "Perhaps...when we get married, I'll think about it. I'm nothing, if not traditional."
I laugh softly, my heart skipping a beat at the thought of someday being married to Alastor. To someone who actually loved me back. It would be nice to know what that feels like...
"Goodnight dear." Alastor says quickly, seemingly embarrassed by what he said. I giggle and ran my hand through his hair. "Goodnight, Alastor."
We met up with Mimzy, just as she wanted about a week after that. The lounge we went to was beautiful, just as, if not more impressive than the one me and Alastor went to. Only this one, had a more vintage look to it.
It was like something right out of the nineteen-twenties, right down to the people attending the lounge. Though, we wouldn't stay in the line of sight for much longer, as we quickly and quietly made our way to one of the private rooms.
Mimzy greeted us with a hug each. "You two look stunning!" She compliments before handing us a drink. Alastor had told me about this lounge's specific look and how others would dress appropriately to match with the vibe. So, we did the same.
I noticed that with every outfit Alastor has given me has been in the color red. Then again, that was one of his staples. I guess he just liked seeing me in that color.
My face heated slightly as I remembered Cherri's similar thoughts as she gave me that red lingerie set. I dismiss the thought before taking a seat next to Alastor. The three of us talked about nothing in particular, laughing about many stories of Alastor and Mimzy's past.
After a while, I had to excuse myself. Mimzy pointed me in the direction of the restrooms. I got up and left. Afterwards I washed my hands and dried them off, as I was leaving I was stopped by a woman. I could tell she was a bit tipsy by the way her words slurred as she talked to me.
"Heeey, can I get your thoughts about something?" She asks. "Uh..." Before I could get a word out, she holds her phone up to my face. "My friend is saying this dress is fucking white and gold. She's lost her damn mind, right?"
I didn't want to risk drawing much attention, so I just went along with it and looked at the screen. "Uh, yeah. The dress, it's-"
My words were cut off as the screen went from the dress to a screen of red and black swirls. And just like that I was hit with a wave of dizziness, I felt my legs give out, but I was caught before I could fall.
The world around me went extremely blurred before finally going completely dark. Before I could loose consciousness all together, I heard muffled voices, as if they were speaking under water.
"Yeah, I got her. We're leaving now." It was that same girl, only this time she was speaking normally.
'Good. Make sure that radio prick doesn't see you. I don't want this plan being fucked up again.'
"Yes boss."
Then all went quiet.

Fear Of The Known
Lucifer x Fem!Angel!Reader
|Chapter Two|
Tumblr media
Warning(s): Heavy Angst, Little Comfort
Tumblr media
Y/n could not bare to face Lucifer after that. She knew already what would come of that meeting, and sure enough, Lucifer's ideas were rejected. Even if Y/n wanted to see him, and deep down she really did, Lucifer was never around.
His absences only lead Y/n to believe he had finally met with Lilith, Adam's ex wife. It would only go downhill from now. Chaos was just around the corner. Soon, Heaven would enter an era of disharmony.
Sin was unleashed upon the world, due to Lucifer and Lilith's actions. And for this, the two would be severely punished.
But not before Lucifer was placed on trial.
Y/n would not be there for Lucifer's trial. But that didn't stop the head Seraphim from questioning her beforehand. About an hour before the trail would take place, Sera would call for Y/n, seeking her vision of the future.
Y/n had the worst feeling as she stepped foot into that courtroom. Sera was not the only one present. Even Joel was there.
Y/n felt her stomach drop as Joel's eyes fell onto her. His expression was unreadable, only adding to Y/n's anxiety.
Of course he would be here. He was the overseer of all Heaven's laws, after all. And this case was something Joel would absolutely need to be present for. This case would determine Lucifer's fate, though, Y/n knew what lies in store for him.
Y/n exhaled shakily before stepping to the center of the courtroom. She looked up at Sera as she spoke. "You called for me, Sera?"
"Yes." Sera starts. "I'm sure you're more than aware of Lucifer's transgressions. Which is why I've summoned you here before his trial is to begin." Her eyes pierced Y/n's own, she sighs before speaking again.
"Did you not see this coming? How couldn't you? Heaven is in disarray trying to fix Lucifer's mess. The Earth is now corrupted by sin, and there is no undoing it. How has a future like this slipped your mind?"
Y/n tried keeping her composure. "I did see this potentially happening. My vision of the future is never one straight line. There are millions of possible futures that could occur, and this was one of them unfortunately."
"If that's true." Joel spoke up, catching the room's attention. "Then why didn't you warn us ahead of time? Possibility or not, it would have still been a problem. One we might have taken proper precautions to avoid."
Y/n, still calm, explained. "There are many other possible futures that could have ended up like this one. If this future was prevented, who's to say another wouldn't be similar or exactly like it?"
"You are to say." Sera says sternly. "It is your duty to say what will be. If there is a chance something as disastrous as this could happen, it is up to you to warn us."
"Even if there are thousands of futures like this?" Y/n questions. Why did it feel as if she were the one on trial? Well...She might as well be. She did hide this outcome from everyone after all. They suspected her of lying, and they were right to do so.
"If that's what it takes." Said Sera. "Heaven has never faced anything like this. And with it's population growing, we can not allow for something like this to happen again. The Earth was not spared from corruption. Heaven, most certain will not meet the same fate."
"She's right." Joel nods. "We can't have an event as atrocious as this to ever occurring again. So, Y/n, we highly advise you be more cautious of futures like this from now own. For your sake, and for the sake of Heaven. Understood?"
Y/n inwardly sighed, she nods her head. "Of course. I will not let this happen again."
"Good, that will be all. The trial will begin soon." Joel says to her. And with that, Y/n swiftly takes her leave.
Tumblr media
The day had gone from bad to worse, though, Y/n expected as much. She knew that trial would end with Lucifer falling from Heaven. Knowing this, she couldn't bare to be there to witness it happen. She's already seen enough.
For the next few weeks, Y/n would barely leave her home. But that didn't stop the seemingly unending questions about what will come next. The people of Heaven were anxious, and only sought comfort in knowing the future would bring more good than bad.
After that day, Heaven has been on high alert and rules have become far stricter.
The Archangels, Seraphims, and even God himself would do everything in their power to keep something like that from ever happening again.
And with this, would mean Y/n using her gift to view the future more than she had ever before. It was starting to become exhausting. But it was her duty, she could not allow herself to falter.
And she had no one to blame but herself. Had she warned everyone of that future, maybe none of this would have happened.
Today would be another day of questioning, Y/n was drained. And just when she thought she had a moment to relax, there was another knock at her door. She stifled a groan before answering it.
Upon seeing who was on the other side of the door, Y/n immediately straightened her posture and bowed her head respectfully.
"Haha...You uh, don't have to do that."
Didn't she? They were God's right hand! Y/n rose her head and tried to ignore her fast heartbeat. "Hello Galim. Is there something I can assist you with?"
Galim shrugs. "Something like that. I came to ask you if you would visit Michael. He...hasn't been himself since Lucifer's departure. I'm starting to get worried. And I'm not the only one." They say with a sigh. "People are starting to get antsy and I'm trying my best to keep them as calm as possible. Michael is one of the more inspirational angels, and his absence is starting concerning others."
"We've already lost one bright star...we can't afford to loose another." Galim says under their breath.
Y/n nods, guilt started to build in her chest. "But, wait. Why me?" She asks.
"Well, everyone else is still doing damage control. And, Michael called for you himself." Galim answered. Y/n's eyes widened slightly. "He called for me personally?"
Galim nods. "I can take you there, if you'd like." They offer their hand to her. Y/n graciously takes it. "Thank you, Galim."
"Of course." Galim snapped their fingers and in an instant, they were right outside of Michael's home. "Well, I'll be off then. There's much work to be done."
"I'm sorry to have drawn you away from it." Y/n apologized. Galim waves their hand dismissively. "Don't fret. This was an important matter, I'm glad you could help me with."
"Yes, of course." Y/n nods. "Goodbye then." Galim says with a smile before teleporting elsewhere.
Y/n looked up at the doors before her. She inhaled deeply and exhaled before knocking. The doors opened, welcoming her inside. She walked through the foyer before the doors gently came to a close behind her.
"Michael?" She calls out. After a few seconds of silence, she was suddenly enveloped in bright golden smoke. And just like that, she was moved to a different part of the home.
"Hello, Y/n."
Y/n turned to see Michael sitting at a desk, head in one of his hand, while the other held a tiny porcelain duck. He was focused on the small sculpture as he moved it around his finger and thumb.
"Hello, Michael. How are you doing?" Asked Y/n. Michael shrugs. "Better, I guess. Gabriel has been checking on my injury every now and then." Y/n glances at one of Michael's wings. His looked near identical to Lucifer's. His wings weren't the only thing they shared in looks.
The two were practically twins. They only thing that kept people from actually calling them as such, was Michael's height. He was slightly taller than Lucifer. Though, when they were young, they grew at the same rate. It wasn't until Lucifer's late teen years did he stop growing.
Still their faces were a perfect match. Eventually Michael had to start styling his hair differently to keep others from confusing him with Lucifer.
"It's not broken, not anymore." Michael says. "The rest of my body healed quickly."
"I see." Y/n mutters. "Um, you wanted to see me, yes?"
"I did." Michael nods. He sets the small duck down onto the desk, his eyes finally meeting her own. Y/n didn't miss how empty they looked. "I wanted to ask you something."
"Alright." Y/n nods. "What is it?"
"Did you know my brother would fall?" Michael asks, his voice wavered ever so slightly. Y/n's gaze fell to the ground as she answered. "I did."
"And you said nothing?"
Y/n sighed shakily. "I...I told Lucifer."
Michael raised an eyebrow. "You did?"
"I didn't tell him that he would fall. But I did tell him that his plan would not come to fruition. But he wouldn't listen. And...I just didn't want to crush his dreams." Y/n explained, then exhaled. "But I realize how selfish that was now. I won't ever make a mistake like that again."
Michael's eyes fell onto the duck for a moment before focusing on her again. He sighed. "I am no position to judge you for you choice. I can't honestly say I wouldn't do the same."
This surprised Y/n a bit. She looked back up at him, confused. "What do you mean?"
"Lucifer is my brother. Had I known how passionate he was about that dream of his was...I don't think I would have had the heart to tell him it wouldn't work." Michael places his hand on his temple. "But..." A shaky breath leaves Michael.
"I would have preferred to break his heart, rather than draw my sword against him."
Y/n could hear the pain dripping from Michael's words. He wasn’t over the fight he had with his brother, nor his departure. "I'm so sorry, Michael. I know that was hard for you."
"It is my duty to protect the people of Heaven. I just never thought I'd had to protect them from him." Michael says bitterly. He takes a breath. "I am not the only one hurting it seems." His gaze was on Y/n once again.
Y/n fought back the tears that threatened to gather in her eyes. "I would never wished this upon Lucifer. Or anyone."
"You and him were close. He was looking for you in that courtroom, I could tell."
With that, the tears broke through and fell down her face. She brought a hand to her face and turned away from Michael. "I'm sorry." She sniffles.
"It's alri-." Michael starts, but Y/n beats him to it. "It's not! I wanted so badly not to hurt him, I wanted to save him from his fate! But I only hurt him anyway, and I did nothing to stop it! If only I had went to that trial, maybe I could have defended him somehow!" She cries.
"He wanted me there with him at that meeting. And I refused to go all because I was too afraid. I told him his dream couldn't come true. Oh Michael...he looked so betrayed..."
You barely heard Michael approaching you through your weak sobs, until he pulled you into a hug.
"It's not like him and I left on good terms either. I understand. But we could have only done so much. You know how Lucifer is. When he wants to do something, he will do it. Try not to blame yourself, Y/n. If he knew that you were only trying to protect him, he would have understood. And I'm sure he's forgiven you."
Y/n choked out another sob as she hid her face in Michael's chest. She would have given anything to speak with Lucifer one last time. She would have endlessly apologized for failing him. Y/n hated herself for not trying harder to keep him safe.
She would never be the same again, not without Lucifer. Not when knowing she did little to nothing to stop him. And for thousands of years, he would be a constant and painful reminder of how she had failed.
But never again. Y/n was given her gift for a reason. And so, she would dedicate her time into making sure the future would bring nothing but safety and contentment for all in Heaven.
No matter the cost...

Fear Of The Known
Lucifer x Fem!Angel!Reader
|Chapter One|
Tumblr media
Warning: Angst, No Comfort
Tumblr media
Y/n was a young woman, destined to work close with the higher ups of Heaven, due to the gift she was given. God chose her to be the angel who would prophesy the future.
The symbol of a bright shining star on her forehead acted as a third eye. It would be what aids her as she looks into the future. And for the longest time, the future seemed bright.
Although, the future was not just one straight line. There were many pathways that could be opened by the smallest of acts.
But from how well everything was managed in Heaven, the best future possible, seemed as if the only real future ahead.
No worries, no danger, nothing to disrupt the heavenly balance. Yes, it was all smooth sailing ahead.
Y/n loved her job, and found great joy in telling others of the wonderful future that lies ahead for everyone. However, there would come a day, where the future was changed for the worst.
And it all started with one man...
Tumblr media
Lucifer was one of God's favorite angels. He was bright, creative, brilliant. Though, he was a bit of a trouble maker, and would often drag his brothers into joining his mischievous acts.
Well, perhaps mischief wasn't the best way to describe it. Curiosity, was a better way of putting it. But even then, that curiosity would lead him to trouble.
It was a good thing God was so forgiving of Lucifer.
Even Y/n couldn't stay mad at him whenever he got her involved, asking her to use her future vision to see how his actions would effect something or someone.
And every time she'd say-
"My power is not to be abused, Lucifer."
As disappointed as he always was whenever she refused to indulge him, he'd never force her to do something she didn't want to. But boy, was he persistent.
Eventually, his curiosity rubbed off on Y/n. And she took a small peak into Lucifer's future. As she suspected, Lucifer would live happily and sharing his creativity with all of Heaven to enjoy.
Yes. Another wonderful future for all.
But then, another path was opened to her eyes. What she saw, concerned her.
Heaven was in chaos, and Lucifer was at the center of it all.
Y/n didn't dare look any further than that. And she would not say a word about this to Lucifer either. She had a feeling it would have negatively affected him.
However, she couldn't keep this to herself. She needed to tell God about the future she saw. It was the first time she had ever seen Heaven so...frazzled.
As if something terrible were about to happen.
The suspense of not knowing ate at her. If she were to tell God of such a future, she would need to know exactly why and how it would happen. And so, she looked again.
There Lucifer was again. He looked so angry, but so sad at the same time. And there was someone else with him. A tall and beautiful woman with long blonde hair. Lucifer held an arm out protectively in front of her as he yelled something.
He looked injured. Blood stained his beautiful face, as well as his robes. Even his wings were damaged.
Ahead of Lucifer was Michael. Sword in hand, the blade pointing towards Lucifer. He looked a bit roughed up as well. Had they been fighting? Why would they ever fight?
Chains were thrown around Lucifer and the woman he was with, and then, there was a vision of Lucifer and that same woman inside of Heaven's courtroom. Words were being yelled back and forth from Lucifer and the head Seraphim, Sera.
But Joel would have the final word.
There was a look of panic on Lucifer's face. The chains that bind him disappeared and the ground beneath them gave in. With quick thinking, Lucifer held onto that woman tightly, shielding her with his wings.
And just like that, the both fell.
Y/n gasped sharply as the vision faded.
"Lucifer...Lucifer falls from Heaven."
Tumblr media
Y/n kept that terrible vision to herself for many years to come. The only reason she refused to tell anyone, is because she couldn't see any possible reason for Lucifer to fall from Heaven.
Lucifer would never do anything to put Heaven at risk, let alone cause for Michael to draw his sword at him.
There was no way Lucifer would do such a thing.
Y/n gazed out, watching Lucifer from a far. He was speaking to God, looking as carefree as usual. It was then he noticed her, he waved his hand. Y/n smiled weakly and waves back.
Lucifer excused himself from God and made his way over to her. "Hey Y/n, I've been meaning to talk to you."
"Oh? About what?" She asks curiously. Lucifer looks around before taking Y/n's hand and leading her away somewhere more private. Once Lucifer was sure they were alone, he excitedly shared the news to her.
"So, we all know that Heaven is great and will continue to be great for like, the rest of forever, right? But what if it could be even better?" Y/n looks a little confused. "What do you mean?" She asks.
"I've been thinking of some ideas to really give Heaven some...sparkle!" Lucifer says with jazz hands. "I wanted you to be the first to hear about it before I bring it up at the meeting first thing tomorrow morning."
Y/n couldn't help but smile at his enthusiasm. Whatever he had planned, he sure seemed passionate about it. And so, Y/n listen to him explain his ideas.
Everything he spoke about all sounded so wonderful, magnificent even. And just the way he talked about it, Y/n could see his eyes light up with every word that left him. Passionate didn't even begin to describe it. These weren't just ideas.
These were his dreams.
"I really have a feeling this will change Heaven forever! What do you think?" Asked Lucifer after he finished.
"Lucifer, I think you should do it. Clearly this is something you really want, and I can tell it means a lot to you. I wish you luck." Y/n tells him. Lucifer smiles brightly before hugging her tight.
"Thank you, Y/n!"
"Of course, Lucifer. I can't wait to hear what they have to say."
The two parted, and Lucifer suddenly had a mischievous look on his face. "You know, you could always tell me what they'll say."
"Lucifer." Y/n says sternly.
Lucifer sighs dramatically. "I know, I know. But I just can't wait!" Y/n giggles. "Well, just try and wait a little longer. They're going to love it."
"I sure hope so." Said Lucifer with a small smile.
Tumblr media
Curiosity could be a very dangerous thing indeed. The vision Y/n had to Lucifer's future, or at least one of them, should have been enough to keep her from looking too long of what fate has to offer. And yet, something compelled her to look again.
The once bright future ahead, had changed.
It wasn't another pathway, but the one that was most guaranteed.
And it was horrible...
Lucifer will fall from Heaven, but not before he shares his ideas with the angels. Not before he meets with Lilith, and the two create sin and unleash it onto the world that the angels worked so hard to protect.
Y/n could not allow this future come to pass. She could not allow Lucifer to be casted into eternal damnation. Not if there was something she could do about it.
She knew had to warn Lucifer. But telling him of the future she saw might have crushed him and his dreams. And she didn't want to be the reason he stopped dreaming.
But nonetheless, she still had to do something to stop that future from occurring.
Y/n caught Lucifer the morning he was to call for that meeting.
"Lucifer, may I have a word with you?" She asks. Lucifer smiles. "Sure, but be quick, I have to get going soon."
Y/n tried to appear as calm as she could. "I know you're very excited about this meeting, Lucifer."
"I'm more than excited!" Lucifer says cheerfully. "If I can convince everyone to get on board with my plan, Heaven and Earth as we know it will change forever!"
Y/n winces. "That's what I wanted to talk you about." Lucifer looked confused, but listened anyway. "You know how the Seraphims can be. They're so...strict, you know?"
Lucifer sighs. "Yeah, talk about a bunch of sticks in the mud." He smirks. Y/n laughs awkwardly. "Yes well...Maybe you should cancel this meeting. Or! A-At least, postpone it?"
Lucifer only grows more confused by this, but he shrugs with a carefree grin. "Y/n, trust me. I can get on their good sides. You know how charming and loveable I am. There's nothing to worry about." He says before starting off.
Panic started to rise in Y/n. This wasn't good. Lucifer could not go to that meeting. If he does, Heaven will soon be thrown into total chaos.
"I'll let you know how it goes, ok?" Lucifer unfolds his wings to take flight.
Y/n grabs his wrist, stopping him. "You can't!"
Lucifer gives her a bewildered look. "Y/n?"
"You can't go to that meeting Lucifer!"
Lucifer furrows his brows. "Why have you had a sudden change of heart? Yesterday you were just as excited for this as I was. I thought you liked my ideas."
"I-I do! It's just..." Y/n trailed off, unable to think of anything to say. "Y/n." Y/n looked at Lucifer, his expression now one of concern. "Did you see something? Does something go wrong?"
"Lucifer...You just can't go." Y/n says weakly. "They won't understand. I just...I just don't want you to be hurt by what they might say."
Lucifer took Y/n's hand. "Was that really what you saw? They won't listen?" He asks. Y/n nods her head, tears in her eyes. She hated this. She hated having to be the one that tells him this.
But it had to be said. Lucifer might have been hurt by this, but at least he'd still be here in Heaven.
"Then...It looks like I'll have to change their minds!"
Y/n's heart sank. "You're still going? Why? I just told you they-"
"I know. But Y/n, I can't let this opportunity pass. I believe in my dream, I know it can work. I'll just have to really knock their socks off! And make a outstanding impression!" Lucifer says determinedly.
"Lucifer..."
"It'll work, trust me. Those Seraphims won't know what hit them!"
"Lucifer."
"You can even come with me! They're bound to listen if I have someone else who believes in me!"
"Lucifer I can't!" Y/n says firmly. "I saw the future that lies ahead, I know what the outcome will be! It's certain that they will not listen to you! It doesn't matter what you say or do, it won't work Lucifer!"
Lucifer was slightly taken back by your words. Y/n's heart snapped in two at the look on his face. One of sadness, betrayal...
It had to be said.
"I'm sorry Lucifer." Y/n sighs. "Please, please don't go. Just-"
"No."
"Lucifer!"
"I'm going to that meeting, Y/n. I'm going to tell them what I have planned. Because I believe in my dream. I just thought you would too..." Lucifer lets go of her hand before taking flight.
"Lucifer! Wait!" Y/n called after him. Lucifer ignored her as he grew further and further out of sight. "Lucifer!" Tears began to drip down her cheeks.
Y/n had failed to change that horrible future. Lucifer would fall from Heaven, and there was nothing she could do to stop it.
"I'm sorry..."

Fear Of The Known
Lucifer x Fem!Angel!Reader
|Preview|
Tumblr media
Summery: The future was a scary and unknown thing. Not even God could predict what might happen down the line. And so, when faced with the unknown, he would create someone who could look into the future and what it has to offer.
However, with the knowledge what would be, comes with a heavy burden. Fate was unkind to most and not every future would be bright.
Tumblr media
Warning(s): Angst, Violence, Major Character Death, OOC, AU(maybe?), Use Of Y/n, Slow burn, Friends To Lovers
(Pretty much gonna assume the personalities of characters we've yet to see in Hazbin. I'm also basing a lot of the angel/heaven characters off of what I've seen from apieceofheaven and voidseeker's au/characters. Though my interpretation will be very loose and some somewhat personal hcs since there is no longer a solid platform to read that info from. (other than the reposts I can find from Pinterest and Google)
One more thing, there might be some changes made to certain characters. Also, I'm not religious, so I might get some things wrong. I apologize in advance.)

Hi, I just discovered your page and am enjoying the Alastor and Lucifer fics, I was wondering if you could do an Alastor x Reader Wedding edition from Proposal/ Ceremony/Honeymoon? and also a tidbit of their marriage/Parenthood? Same for Lucifer? if it's not too much?
Married Life
Alastor x Reader | Lucifer x Reader
Thank you! I'm glad you like my fics, it makes me very happy! Enjoy~
Tumblr media
Alastor
Proposal-
Alastor never thought he'd love someone like he does you. All his life he's gone without the need for romance. He's never had any interest in such things. But then you came along, and turned everything upside down.
You made him feel things he never thought he could. Of course these things take time, and even longer for Alastor. He had to make sure he was serious about this. He had to make sure you were serious about this. He would not give his heart to just anyone. You had to earn it and his trust.
And earned it you did. Yes he never thought he'd find love in all his years living and in death. Even more so, he never thought he'd ever do something like this. But here he was, on one knee, asking for your hand in marriage. Of course you said yes, and he couldn't have been happier.
Ceremony-
The wedding would most likely take place in Cannibal Town. Rosie would have been a huge help in arranging the ceremony. After all, Alastor was a good friend, and she'd do anything for him and his soon to be bride/groom. She would even be the one to wed you both.
Husk believe it or not, was Alastor's best man while Mimzy was your maid of honor. (and you know she injured a few girls to catch that bouquet)
Alastor couldn't ignore the sudden quickening pace of his heart as you walked down the isle. His smile was genuine, and his chest fluttered with excitement as you approached. (if he wasn't hiding his tail everyone would have seen it wagging)
Alastor silently dared anyone to speak up when the whole "object now or forever hold your peace" part came up. And best believe that crowd was silent.
When you both were offically married, Alastor held you close as he kissed you softly. The kiss may have lasted a bit too long, but again, no one dared to speak up and ruin this moment.
Honeymoon-
Alastor would have planned a trip to the Wrath Ring (let's forget sinners can't travel through the rings), where you'd stay in a lovely cabin in the woods. It sorta reminded Alastor of home, being in the woods. It was peaceful considering the area. Nice and secluded too, you wouldn't be disturbed.
And if someone tried, well, Alastor would quickly see that taken care of...
There was a large meadow within the woods behind the cabin. The two of you could stay there for hours, just listening to the sounds of nature all around. It was a much needed break from the city life back in the Pride Ring.
Alastor was a wonderful cook and impressed you every day with a delicious meal. He'd even teach you how to cook certain dishes that his mother taught him. (she would have been so proud of him)
The two of you didn't want it to end, but alas, it was nearing time for you to return. Not to worry, there would be plenty more trips like this planned for you two newlyweds.
Parenthood-
This was a huge step for Alastor. He's never disliked children by any means, but having his own...
Nothing really scared Alastor (that we know of), but this was... something that kept him "on edge". Of course, there would need to be a very long and thought out discussion about having children. Alastor would also need some time to really think about it. He was thankful you would allow him that time, no matter how long it took.
Eventually, he would come to a decision. If you two have children of your own, he'd still be nervous. But once he see his newborn in your arms, something stirs deep within him. He just stared at it for a while, then he worked up the courage to actually hold them. And that was what did it.
There was that genuine smile again, that same thump in his chest again. Pride was a good word for it, but love was better. Alastor was sure right then, he didn't need to be worried anymore, or ever again.
If you two adopt, he will love the child all the same. He'd teach them how to cook, how to play piano, and absolutely how to defend themselves. Alastor couldn't have been more proud when his child picked up a few skills he taught them.
Alastor's children would be just as deadly as him eventually, but he would always look out for them and protect them from whatever threatens to harm them.
Lucifer
Proposal-
This man has never been more nervous in his life. He wanted this so bad, and he'd be damned if he lets his fear get in the way. You weren't Lilith, you wouldn't leave him like she did. If he thought you would, he wouldn't be working up the nerve to propose to you.
Lucifer would do everything romantic he could think to do for this proposal. It would happen at his home, private you know? A nice dinner he made himself. Romantic music. Soft lighting. Rose petals scattered here and there. He even dressed himself in his best suit for the occasion.
Lucifer was practically shaking when you showed up. He got some relief when you admired how everything was set up. He would wait for just the right moment before asking the big question.
He was absolutely over the moon when you said yes, he even cried a little....a lot. He cried a lot, sobbing practically. He was just so damn happy you wanted to marry him.
Now all he had to do was plan the perfect wedding...
Ceremony-
When Lucifer told Charlie that you and him were getting married, she was just as emotional as he was. She insisted you two got married in the hotel. Of course you agreed. So sure, why not?
Charlie and Lucifer would be working double time to make sure everything was perfect. And of course everyone else helped out too. When Charlie had a free moment, she and Vaggie would take you dress/suit shopping. Angel insisted he come along too, cause you're not going to go shopping for such an event without him. He knew how to dress to impress after all.
Charlie would be Lucifer's best woman, because there is no way in literal hell is he going to ask Alastor. While Angel would be your maid of honor. And of course Fat Nuggets would be the ring bearer, as per Angel's request. No arguments there.
If you thought Lucifer was emotional during the proposal, you should see him as you make your way down the isle. He was so excited that he couldn't even get mad that Alastor was the one walking you down. All he could see in this moment was you.
Once you reach him, you take his hands and you could see the love in his eyes. Husk would be the one to wed you both, even his grumpy self was smiling as he pronounced you both married. Lucifer wasted no time as he dipped you and kissed you so very passionately. He almost forgot there were people watching, so he eased up a bit. For now...
Charlie couldn't have been more happy for her dad. She gave him a warm hug before watching you two join hands and walk the isle. Soon you two would be off on your honeymoon.
Honeymoon-
Your honeymoon would be spend in the Sloth Ring. (again, let's just forget sinners can't travel through the rings lol) It was one of the more relaxing places in Hell, and that's what your honeymoon would be about. Relaxation. And of course it would be spent to the very last second filled with love and affection.
Lucifer would have rented a beautiful air bnb home, right on the lakeside. It was perfect for spending time on the deck and watching the pentagram sun set.
Lucifer would have also planned all sorts of fun things to do on the honeymoon. Some activities for couples, but mostly just having fun doing whatever.
Ya'll just know Lucifer would be an excellent cook. Every night he would make a delicious meal for the two of you. He'd let you help out too if you wanted. You might even learn something new.
The last night spent there would be the most romantic night of all. The two of you stayed in and slow danced to an old song you both loved. You don't know how long you stayed in each other's arms, but you didn't care. Neither of you wanted it to ever end.
And it never would, now that you two would spend the rest of eternity together.
Parenthood-
This next step would be big for the both of you. Lucifer was worried about being a parent again, after what happened with him and Charlie. He didn't want to mess up again and ruin the relationship he would have with his next son/daughter.
He was grateful you were there to ease his worries. He wanted so badly to make up for his past mistakes. He was already trying his best to be a better father for Charlie, he would be sure to do the same for his next kid.
If you gave birth to his baby, there would be a new swell of pride within him. You and him created such a beautiful thing together. And he would love this baby unconditionally and protect you and them with his very life.
If you two adopt, he would be just as happy. He had the chance to give this child a better life than they had. He'd love them and care for them, and would always keep them safe.
Charlie would be excited to be a big sister, which made Lucifer happier than anything. He loved his kids so much. He loved you so much. In the end, Lucifer would never let anything happen to his family.

Fallen {Chapter Twenty Six}
Alastor x (Fem)Reader
Tumblr media
It had been a few weeks after that wonderful day. Alastor and I had decided to keep our new relationship just between us for now. This all happened so suddenly, we were still trying to catch up ourselves. We didn't think we wanted everyone to know so soon.
Or anyone else at that, especially the overlords of Hell. If they knew, it could bring trouble to both me and Alastor. So for now until further notice, this relationship would be our little secret.
Though, Alastor found it hard to contain himself. He was around me before, but now, he was practically tied to my hip. He would always stand so close to me around the other, and when no one was paying attention, he'd let his hand rest on my lower back comfortingly. Aside from little things like that, we wouldn't make much effort to be so publicly affectionate.
However, when it was just the two of us. Things couldn't have been sweeter. Alastor would always have his hands on mine, holding me close, which would turn into a slow dance between us.
Alastor would have loved nothing more to announce to all of Hell, his love for me proudly. But knew better than to do something so impulsive. So he kept his love private, and just for me.
I wasn't any better. I slowly grew more and more use to being in a relationship again, and I couldn't be happier. I had hoped I didn't come off as too clingy whenever I was around Alastor, though, he's never said anything about it. If anything, he welcomed it.
I was so touched to know he trusted me enough to be so intimate with him. He never once rejected my touch, as he would for a stranger.
I trusted him as well. To never betray my love, to never hurt me. And so far, he's been nothing but loyal and true to his word.
"Y/n? I have a question for you." Alastor says as he turns away from his radio set up. "Yes?" I ask, approaching him. Alastor rests his hands on my hips, a kind smiling forming on his lips. "I know this might come off as sudden or improper but...How would you feel about moving in with me?"
"Move in with you?" I repeat. "You want me to move in with you?" I couldn't help but smile. "I do." Alastor hums swaying me slightly, in an almost waltz fashion. I giggle. "If you wouldn't mind it, I would be happy to."
"Oh, my darling." Alastor pulls me closer to him. "Of course I don't mind. I'll have whatever you need moved right away."
"I just have one request." I tell him. "What's that?" Alastor asks. "Make sure your shadow friends respect my privacy." I say jokingly. I had gotten the chance to become familiar with Alastor's shadow, and learning there were plenty more shadows and minions creeping around unseen. Ready to be summoned at any moment by their master.
Alastor chuckles. "Noted."
"Good." I say before resting my head on his chest. I then let out a light sigh. "Is something the matter?" Alastor gazed down at me with a questioning look. "Just thinking..." I mutter. "About what?" Asked Alastor. I take a moment before answering.
"How I wished it was you I met when I was alive, instead of him..."
Alastor hums. "I don't think you'd want that. I wasn't a good man, you know. I believe I've told you of my hobbies in my living days."
"I guess." I shrug. "Would I have been one of those unfortunate souls you enjoyed hunting?" Alastor takes my chin with his fingers, and gently made me face up at him. "I would have perused you, yes...But not for the reasons you're thinking." I let out an airy laugh. "How romantic."
"I am an expert at it, after all." Alastor says jokingly. "You're not too bad." I start. "You're treating me quite well, for someone who's never been in a relationship before."
"Well, I feel it's common sense to treat your partner with love and respect." Alastor chuckles.
"A lot of people don't know that." I say. "Thankfully, I managed to find someone who does. Even if he is a murderous, cannibalistic, demon from hell."
"It can't get much better than that." Alastor adds with a smirk. I laugh. "No, I don't think it does."
Later that day, Alastor had did as he promised and moved my stuff to his home. It was rather easy, considering he could do it with just a snap of his fingers. I was happy to start living with Alastor. I'd always be with him now, I'd get to see him everyday. And I didn't have to hide my true appearance anymore.
At least not while I was staying there. Leaving the house and going to the hotel was a different story.
I removed my necklace and looked into the mirror. It's been a minute since I've seen my real self. As I transformed, a few of my feathers fell from my wings. "Again?" I ask myself. I run my hands through my wings, a few more fell out into my grasp. "What is going on?" I mutter.
Alastor then walked into the room. "Hello, my baby!" He greeted me in a sing-song fashion. He then noticed the confused, and slightly concerned, look on my face. "Is something wrong?" He asks, approaching me.
"My feathers are falling out." I answer, showing him the few feathers in my hand. He took one and examined it. "How odd. Do angels molt?" He asks. I shake my head. "No. Maybe...it's stress? But, what could I be stressed about?"
"Well, this is a big step in our relationship. Perhaps you're a little anxious, moving from one place to another." Alastor suggests. "I guess?" I say with a shrug. "I'm not going to worry about this. It might make it worse if I do." I sigh.
"It's probably best if you didn't. For now at least. But in the meantime..." A mischievous grin formed on Alastor's face. Before I knew what was going on, I was being lifted up and carried to a near by love seat. I was sat on his lap, as he held me close.
"I demand affection!"
"But I need to finish unpacking." I protest. "Later." Alastor said simply before gently pressing my head to his chest. I roll my eyes playfully before snuggling into him. "You're lucky I love you."
When I felt Alastor tense is when I realized what I had just said. My eyes went wide and my heart stopped a second before picking up. I open my mouth to say something, but Alastor beat me to it.
"You love me?"
His tone of voice when he asked that, was one I never heard from him before. Quiet and unsure, as if he heard me wrong, or that I didn't mean it.
My face was hot, my heart racing. Guess there was no taking it back now. Not that I would. I did mean it after all.
"I do." I say softly, looking up at him. "I know that might be sudden, but, I really do love you Alastor. You make me so happy."
Alastor leaned down to plant a kiss onto my head. "I love you too." He says quietly. I smile brightly before taking his face with my hands. "Then kiss me properly." I laugh. Alastor didn't hesitate to do just that.
After a minute or two, we parted. Alastor just stared at me for a while, his eyes held mine in a soft gaze. "I'd love you in just about any form my dear, but the real you..." He took my hand and kissed it. "You take my breath away."
"Alastor, you flirt." I say jokingly, trying to ignore the heat pooling in my cheeks. "It's true." Alastor says, kissing my wrist next. He then left a trail of kisses up my arm, to my shoulder. "Anyone would be a blind fool to disagree." I was sure my face was red now, steam might as well have been spouting from my ears.
He kissed up my shoulder to my collar bones, then to my neck. It wasn't a sexual gesture, Alastor has made his feelings clear about things like that. No, this was a gentle and loving gesture. Just as passionate, just as intimate.
"Alastor..." I sigh softly. "Mon chér." Alastor whispers.
The moment was suddenly interrupted by a knock at the door. Alastor drew away from me, alert, as he held me tight. His shadow then formed next to him. "Go see who it is, and come right back to tell me." Alastor instructed. The shadow nodded before sinking into the floor once again.
"Alastor? What is it?" I ask in a hushed tone. "No one should know how to reach this place..." He answered, eyes narrowing in suspicion. Within seconds, his shadow returned. "Well?" Alastor prompts.
His shadow spoke, I couldn't understand what it was saying. Though Alastor knew, as his expression turned from cautious to slightly annoyed. "I see." He mutters. He then sets me aside on the love seat before standing.
"Apologies, my love. I'll be right back." Before he left, he summoned my necklace and handed it to me. "Just in case." He says before walking away. I put the necklace on, and watched in confusion as he made his way out of the room.
Alastor walked to the front door and opened it, he looked down to see a familiar face. "Hiya Al!" Standing before him, was his oldest friend. "Mimzy." He greets simply. "How did you get here?" He asks. Mimzy raises an eyebrow before sighing. "Figures, you wouldn't remember." She says with a roll of her eyes. "You brought me here after getting drunk off your keester. Remember? You tried teleporting three different times, before you came back to my lounge and whined for me to help you home?"
Alastor's grin strained, his eye twitched slightly. "Ah...I see..."
"And speaking of getting drunk, I brought your favorite!" Mimzy takes a bottle of liquor from her purse and handed it to Alastor. She then walks past him into the house. "You would not believe the night I had." She starts to ramble. Alastor accepted the situation and closed the front door, following and listening to the shorter woman.
"This bum thought he could pull a fast one on me, and not pay for his drinks. Well, I told him otherwise and and had Vinny and Johnny take care of him. Got my money alright, and even a hefty tip."
She goes on. "Al, I just don't understand it. Where did all the gentlemen go? Huh? It seems like you're the only one with any class! All these losers down here ain't got nothing better to do than to try and scam and disrespect a poor little lady, such as my self!"
Alastor hummed, barely paying much attention as he walked with her.
"Alastor? Is everything alright?"
Alastor and Mimzy turned their attention to me. I was standing in the doorway of the living room, when my eyes landed on the small flapper girl. Who was this?
"My, my Al!" Mimzy looks to me then to Alastor. "And here I thought you weren't about this kind of thing." She approaches me. "Hiya, the name's Mimzy. Who might you be, doll?"
"Y/n." I answer. "Y/n, what a pretty name. Now tell me, what in hell have you been doing hiding from me all this time? The the first I hear Alastor's found himself a woman, and I'm only just now finding out." She then turns to Alastor.
"And you Al, how could you not introduce me sooner?"
"Y/n." Alastor starts. "This is Mimzy, I believe I've told you about her." Ah. So this was that Mimzy.
"You have, have ya?" Mimzy smirks. "Better be all good things." I nod my head. "Yes, all good things." I confirm. "And, things that the police wouldn't like hearing." Mimzy's eyebrows shot up. "You told her?" She asks. "I want no secrets between us, of course I told her." Said Alastor.
"I can't say I'm fine with it, but, I know better than to worry about Alastor hurting me. And, really he's done nothing but help me since I arrived in Hell. He's even protected me against someone that shall not be mentioned." I tell her.
"Mhm." Alastor hums lightly. "Y/nhas been rather pleasant to be around. As you might imagine, we didn't click at first. But now, there is no separating us."
"I dare anyone to try..." He says with a static filled growl.
"I never thought I'd see the day." Mimzy murmurs. "Alright Al, you better take good care of her. You too missy. Al is a good friend of mine, I don't want his heart getting broken." Alastor walks to my side and wraps an arm around my waist. "I wouldn't dream of it."
"Same here." I say, leaning into him.
"Oh, aren't you two just the cutest!?" Mimzy squeals. "Oh, we have got to get together some time! Maybe at my lounge?" She suggests. "That sounds lovely, however, we are keeping our relationship as private as we can. I wouldn't want any attention drawn to us, and create a potential problem." Alastor tells her. But Mimzy waves it off like nothing.
"I have private rooms just for that. Come on, you won't have anything to worry about!" She says, then looks at me. "What do you think, Y/n?" She asks. I give it some thought. "Well, it does sound nice. As long as you promise we won't be seen."
"Then it's a date! Consider everything taken care of, ya lovebirds!"

Fallen {Chapter Twenty Five}
Alastor x (Fem)Reader
Tumblr media
Alastor stared ahead at his office door, deep in thought. His hands were folded, and brought closely to his chin as he foot tap restlessly at the floor. Normally, foot tapping would be a sign that he was recalling a catchy tune. But not this time.
He was irritated. Or, maybe frustrated was the right word? Annoyed? Confused maybe? He just didn't know, and that, caused him to become angry. Everyone in the hotel could feel it. They all found it in their best interest to give Alastor his space, and just leave him be until this "fit" passes.
And would it pass? No one knew, not even him. And this all started last night. The anger didn't necessarily start then, but it would build slowly the next day. No, last night...last night, he felt wonderful...
"This is starting to become ridiculous."
Alastor didn't break his stare with the door, as his shadow formed behind him. "I don't know what you're talking about." He muttered.
"Yes, you do." His shadow moved to his side. "You can not ignore this anymore. You can not ignore what she's done to you."
Alastor's tapping foot grew faster. "There is nothing to ignore, because there is nothing happening."
"You are no fool. Do not act like one. Soon, it will become painfully clear to everyone, just as it has for me. And you...And when that happens-"
"That won't happen." Alastor's tone became sharp. "I have nothing to hide from anyone. There is nothing wrong. There is nothing wrong with me. Whatever is happening now, will pass. Because all this is, is just some mild annoyance for some reason." The tapping quickened once again.
"I can tell you for what reason." His shadow starts. "You are annoyed, because you've never felt such an emotion like this. It seems as if it's hitting you all at once. You can ignore it all you'd like, but you can not deny it..."
Faster, and faster...
"You can not deny, your feelings for that angel."
The tapping ceased with a hard slam of Alastor's foot against the ground. A heavy silence followed, however, inside of Alastor's mind...his thoughts could not be louder.
'My feelings for her? There is nothing I feel for her! I couldn't possibly! She means nothing to me!'
But that wasn't true. He knew it wasn't true.
'She is just another soul for me to toy with! Nothing more!'
All lies.
'I'm using her for my own entertainment! And that is it! I don't want anything more to do with her, other than that!'
And yet...
'And yet...'
Alastor moved his hands to cradle his head, a heavy sigh left him. All of a sudden, he felt so mentally exhausted. This was insane. Ridiculous. Annoying.
And yet, he wanted nothing more than for last night to go on longer. Even if just for a minute more.
A sudden knock at the door, caused him to sit up straight, the same smile he always wore plastered on his face. His shadow quickly disappeared. Alastor inhaled shakily before speaking in a chipper tone.
"Come in!"
The door opened, and in walked someone he wasn't sure if he wanted to see right at the moment. He kept his smile the same while he spoke. "Y/n. Nice to see you out of that room of yours! Are you feeling better?"
I smile and shut the door behind me. "I do. Last night really helped. Thank you, again." I say as I approach his desk, stopping just a few steps ahead of it. "That's nice to hear. So, tell me. What brings you by?" Alastor asks.
"Well, I wanted to thank you for last night. Um..." I suddenly became anxious. "I mean, I just did but...Really, thank you. You really did help me feel better."
Alastor's smile, turned more soft and genuine. "I'm glad I could help you."
"Yeah...I also wanted to apologize." I say, confusing Alastor slightly. "Apologize? What for?" He asks me.
"From the start, I was afraid of you. Like, really afraid. I thought of you as a monster, a heartless being who only took joy in the misfortune and pain of others." I began.
Alastor had to admit, most of that is true. He took no offense to it.
"I thought that of you for the longest time. And then, I got to know you. And, in all that time, it made me realize...you're so much more than that."
I continue. "Don't get me wrong. I do not doubt that you're one of the most feared and powerful around these parts for a reason. You've really earned that reputation." Alastor chuckles a bit at that.
"But, I saw another part of you last night. Even that day you brought me to your radio tower, I saw it then. The more...humane side of you. You made me feel safe. Hell, you even got rid of my shitty ex for me. So, thank you, for allowing me to see that side of you. I hope I can see more of it..."
There...right now, there that feeling was again. Alastor clasps his hands together tightly, his smile twitching slightly. He didn't know what he hated more. The fact that his shadow was right...or the fact that he was allowing himself to feel like this.
"That's...very kind of you Y/n. Thank you for telling me." Alastor stands from his desk and walks to the front of it, standing before me now. "I'm glad I could be of assistance for you. Instead of disposing of you, or just eating you. Like I said, I've never tried angel meat before."
I roll my eyes with a small laugh. "And you never will. Not from me at least." Alastor laughs as well.
Then slowly, his laughter died down.
"Y/n?"
"Yes?"
"Do you...really think all that of me?" He asks. I nod my head with a smile. "I do." Alastor leans back slightly onto the desk. "Let's hope it's only you who thinks that." He says under his breath, looking down at the floor.
"What do you mean?" I asked. His gaze meets mine, staring at me for a moment before speaking again.
"Before we met, before I came to this hotel to help Charlie. I was...absent for a while." He begins. "I won't go into too much detail as to why, but let's just say, it was a necessary leave. And in that time, it seems others have gotten cocky. It seems some thought, this was their chance to rise up in power. How wrong they were..." He trails off, voice slightly staticky.
"Anyhow, they think I've lost my touch. I can not stress enough, how far from the truth that is. I can not allow for them to be right. I can not allow myself to weaken, not when I've come this far."
"You hold a lot of power and respect. It would be like it was all for nothing, if you lost it." I add, Alastor agrees. "That's right."
"I understand some but." I start. "You seem very powerful to me. I doubt there would be anyone to disagree with that. What's the problem?"
Now for the hard part. Alastor turns away from me, and walks to the window on the wall behind his desk. He looks out it, down at the city below. "Despite what you, and others might think. I can be weakened. Whether it be, by someone more powerful or more skillful. Or...unnecessary thoughts and feelings..." He trailed off.
"What do you mean?" I ask.
"Do you remember what I said last night? About not being interested in romance?"
"Yes?" It still stung a little to hear that...
"There is some explanation to that. This not being the entire reason, but a big one, is that...Allowing myself to be open romantically, is just begging for disaster to follow. If I were to fall for someone, it could all be taken away from me. And down here, and with my status, that is a high possibility."
Oh...
That was fair, it made sense for him to think that. He was right to think that. But...
"Have you never tried?" I asked. Alastor looked over his shoulder at me. I continue.
"I mean, you're right. But, what if things turn out differently? If you met someone you loved, really loved, wouldn't it be worth a shot? Wouldn't you try?"
"And how could you be so sure it wouldn't end in heartache?" He asks.
"I can't." I say simply. Alastor turns to face me properly. "You can't? That's it?" He starts. "So, if you were in my place...you'd do it anyway? Even if it could end so terribly?"
I nod. "I would. Because, being with the person I love, would be well worth the risk."
Alastor fell silent.
'It can't be that easy...' He thought. 'She can't really think that...'
"But uh...yeah. That's my take." I laugh weakly. "Or maybe that was just insanely corny and lame."
'Could it really be that simple?'
"Alastor?" I ask, growing worry at his silence.
'Would I really risk it all? Just like that?'
"...Ok. Uh, I'm gonna...go then...Bye?" I say, starting for the door. When suddenly, I was pulled back. I look up at Alastor with surprise. "A-Alastor?"
"What about you?" He asks. "What about me?" I ask, my confusion ever growing. "Would you risk falling in love with someone like that, even if it meant you became a target?" There was a sense of urgency in his tone. "Would you risk dying, just to be with them?"
I calmed down slightly. "I would..." I say, feeling Alastor's hold on me tighten slightly. "If I really loved them too..." He pulled me in closer, my face heated. My heart beat so loud, I could hear it in my ears.
"I'd risk it all..."
Alastor's hand found it's way to my own, he squeezes it ever so slightly. Just like before, our lips were so close, they nearly brushed against each other. His voice coming out in a soft tone as he spoke. "Oh, Y/n..." He began.
"What have you done to me?"
And just like that, Alastor closed the gap between us, our lips meeting. My shock wearing off as his hold became more gentle. I brought my arms up to wrap around his neck, pulling him closer to me, if possible. After a few more seconds, we parted, looking into each other's eyes.
"I would risk death as well, to be with you, my darling." Alastor says softly. Tears filled my eyes, despite the bright smile on my face.
I was so scared before. Alastor would be lying if he said he didn't feel a hint of fear himself, when it came to this. Our view of love was so tainted before, but maybe now...Now that we had each other.
We could create something entirely new with each other. A new kind of love. One that was real, that couldn't be snuffed out.

Prey | Chapter Five
Tumblr media
Alastor x Fem!Reader
Tumblr media
Your heart rate began to pick up. Maybe you were just tired, and your mind was playing tricks on you. Yeah. Yeah that had to have been it. It's not like there was anyone other than you and Alastor in the house.
That would be ridiculous, to think that. And it's not like Alastor would have someone here and no tell you. Why would he feel the need to do that? He wouldn't. Simple.
If that were the case, then what did you see just now?
You take a few steps away from the door and narrow your eyes, trying to see in the dark.
There was that feeling of unease again. You took a deep breath, and exhale shakily. There was no one else here. There was no need to be worrying like this.
You should just go back upstairs and back to bed. Alastor would come back eventually. Even though it worried you, you had a feeling he'd be fine.
Suddenly the lights were turned on.
You gasped sharply and turned around, you were met with Alastor standing in the doorway.
"Y/n...What are you doing up this late?" He asked, slightly shocked. "I...I heard some noises outside. And you weren't here." You explained. "I got worried about you." Your attention was suddenly caught by the sight of blood on Alastor's shirt cuffs and hands.
"What happened?" You asked, pointing it out. Alastor was silent for a moment before answering. "I had to take care of some things in that shed. I have a place set up not too far into those woods, for hunting. Brought some things down there for the next time I go hunting, and ended up cutting my hand." Before you could speak, he continued. "I'm fine. You should go back upstairs Y/n, I'll take care of this alright?"
"Are you sure?" You ask. "I don't mind to help you."
"Y/n. It's late, really, you should be sleeping. I'll take care of it." Alastor said, and despite his calm smile, he seemed a bit tense. You sigh. "Ok...Goodnight."
"Goodnight."
Alastor watched as you made your way back up the stairs. Once he was sure you were gone, he sighed.
"Might as well turn in too."
Tumblr media
The next day, Alastor offered to take you shopping. He insisted, saying now that you were a performer, you should look the part. You couldn't argue with that, and went along with him.
Mimzy had told you you'd be preforming soon, within the next week in fact. It so close by, and as the day came that you would finally preform in front of a real crowd, the more nervous you became. This wasn't like singing front of your parents. This wasn't like singing in front of Alastor and Mimzy.
You'd be singing for a live audience. And as exciting as that sounded, you couldn't help but overthink. What if you mess up somehow? Forget this lyrics, or stumble on stage, or just make a fool of yourself in front of all those people?
Alastor knew you were worried, he tried his best to reassure you and tell you you would do just fine. But his words could only do so much.
As you were in the dressing room, you started to notice Alastor placing clothes over the door from the other side, that weren't all clothes that you came here for. Some were just casual dresses and a few nice evening ones thrown in too. You raise an eyebrow before rolling your eyes.
"Alastor." You say, in a light scolding manner. "Yes?" Alastor innocently responded. "We came here for just a few dresses for my nights preforming. Why did you pick out so many others?" You ask.
"Why dear, of course you'd want to look your best outside of preforming." Alastor tells you. "The more you sing for folks, the more you will be recognized outside of the lounge. You can't wear just anything!"
You supposed your normal dresses weren't up to the standards of famous singers. What if one day you did get that far? Wearing old hand me down dresses, some that had to be sewn back together, wouldn't do your image any good. Of course, you would still keep those dresses, as they were given to you by your dear mother.
"Alright. But just a few. Please do not buy out this entire store, Alastor." You tell him before grabbing one of the dresses.
"Oh? But you'd look so good in everything here."
You were thankful there was a door hiding your embarrassment and hot face. You decided to ignore that. "I mean it, just a few." You say firmly. Alastor chuckles. "If you wish."
Tumblr media
Tonight was a big night for you, your very first performance. You could hardly believe it, your heart was beating wildly in your chest as you stand backstage. You paced back and forth, trying to calm yourself. You kept telling yourself you'd be fine, but your nerves wouldn't listen.
"Y/n!"
You turn your head to see Alastor approaching you. "Alastor? What are you doing here?" You ask. You knew he'd be here to see you, but what was he doing back stage? Mimzy must have allowed him back here. "I'm here because I had a feeling you'd be a little jittery." Alastor tell you. You sigh and nod your head. "I am..."
"You shouldn't be, dear. You'll do just fine! I've heard you sing, you're a natural! And you most certainly look the part." You didn't doubt that last part. You wore a flashy flapper dress and matching arm gloves. Your hair and makeup were seemingly flawless. You barely looked like your old self, all dolled up.
"I still can't help but worry, Alastor. What if something goes wrong?" Alastor shakes his head with a chuckle. "Like what, my dear?" He asks. "Well, what if I trip on stage? Or, what if I forget the lyrics? Or my voice cracks?" You list. Alastor places his hand on your shoulder. "Y/n, none of that will happen. You are simply overthinking. I'll tell you what will happen when you go out there."
"You will dazzle the audience with your beauty, and then knock them all dead with that lovely voice of yours!"
Your face heated slightly at his words. "Alastor?" He hums in response. Suddenly your words were caught in your throat. You wanted so desperately to tell him how you felt, that you loved him so much, more than anything. And yet...
"Thank you."
You couldn't do it.
The song that the band was playing on stage had slowly came to an end, as the crowd applauded their performance. You were up next.
"Of course dear. Now, knock em' dead! I'll be right there in the crowd."
You give Alastor a weak smile before walking ahead, and onto the stage. The crowd clapped as you entered. You gave a small wave before walking up to the microphone. The crowd went quiet, and the music began to play.
Look at me, I'm as helpless as a kitten up a tree; And I feel like I'm clingin' to a cloud I can't understand I get misty, just holding your hand Walk my way
And a thousand violins begin to play Or it might be the sound of your hello That music I hear I get misty, the moment you're near Can't you see that you're leading me on?
You couldn't help but think of Alastor as you sang those words. He must have some sort of clue of what he does to your heart, when he speaks to you so sweet and kind. They way he makes you feel so important, so special.
Surely he knows. Doesn't he? But if he does, if he does know what he's doing, and he continues to do so...
Your eyes found Alastor in the crowd.
Then perhaps it's better you don't give into his game. If that's what this was.
And it's just what I want you to do Don't you notice how hopelessly I'm lost That's why I'm following you On my own
Would I wander through this wonderland alone Never knowing my right foot from my left My hat from my glove I'm too misty, and too much in love Too misty And too much In love
The sound of clapping filled your ears, and you take a step back from the mic with wide eyes. They liked it, they like your performance, they liked your singing, they liked you. A wide smile fell upon your face before bowing slightly. You waved your hand before walking off stage.
You couldn't believe it. Your first performance!
And it was a success!

Fallen {Chapter Twenty Four}
Alastor x (fem)Reader
Tumblr media
It had been about a week since that incident, I was still a little shaken from it. Though, I tried to keep my composure, and act normally. Most seem to buy it, except for two people. Angel Dust, he saw right through my act. He tried to make me feel better. Talking to me, inviting me out with him and Cherri. While I appreciated his efforts, it didn't help much. I tried to put his own worries at ease, but I wasn't much help either.
Then there was Alastor. Even if I wanted to pretend like everything was fine, it wouldn't convince him. He was patient with me and understanding. He did as I asked, and kept quiet about what he did to Liam. Though, telling from the grin on his face, he was satisfied with what he's done.
Today, Alastor had stopped by my room. He wanted to take a crack at trying to cheer me up too. But, the way he went about it was...shocking.
I answer the door, I've learned overtime that his knock pattern was different from the others. He stared down at me with a friendly(?) grin. "Good evening Y/n! How are you feeling?" He asks. I shrug. "About the same." Not great, but not terrible either. Somewhere in between. But, it wasn't a good in between. I knew that much.
"Well, that's not good." Alastor knew it too. "It's because of that, I came by. I wanted to ask you to join me this evening."
"Join you? I don't know Alastor, I'm not really in the mood to be going anywhere. I could tell I was dampening the mood, when Angel invited me out recently. I don't want to do the same with you." I tell him.
"Nonsense! You never let my spirits down! Y/n, I feel like this would be good for you. Trust me, you'll have a blast!" Alastor quickly adds. "And before you say anything, no, this evening will not involve murder or maiming of any kind."
"Then, what were you planning?" I ask him. Alastor offers his hand. "That's for you to find out." I hesitated, but took his hand anyway. "Aha! Wonderful! I assure you Y/n, you won't regret it!" He begins to walk with me, but pauses after taking another look at me. I raise an eyebrow. "What?"
"I feel as if we should properly dress for the evening, shouldn't we?" He says before snapping his fingers. Suddenly, we were both wearing new outfits.
I wore a red midi dress with a black bow tied around my waist. While Alastor wore a red suit, because of course it was red.
"Perfect!" Alastor exclaims. "Alright, are you ready, dear?" He asks. "I don't think I will ever get use to sudden wardrobe changes. But yes, I am ready." Alastor chuckles at my comment before leading me out. He teleports us both, as not to draw attention from the others in hotel.
We had traveled to a upscale part of the city, anyone here clearly were proper and fairly rich. I felt so out of place, though Alastor acts as if he's been here hundreds of times. He probably has, now that I think about it.
"I say we should start the evening off with a nice meal. What do you think?" Alastor asks me. I couldn't pass up the chance for food, especially when I haven't ate all day. "That sounds fine." I tell him. Alastor leads me to a fancy looking restaurant.
He informed the host of his name and reservation, and was swiftly welcomed in. Though, I'm sure without one he'd get in. He was an overlord after all.
We were brought to our seats, and given a bottle of wine that was sat in a small bucket of ice. The host told us our waiter would be with us momentarily before excusing himself. "I know you don't drink, so I won't force you. But, if you change your mind..." Alastor says as he pours both of us a glass. "It'll be there."
"Well, it's not like I don't drink ever." I say while taking the glass. "I just, prefer not to over do it. I like to keep it light, you know?" I then took a sip. Wow. This is good. I dare not think about just how much this wine costed alone, on top of sitting down to eat here.
"Understandable." Alastor nods as he takes a sip himself. "I don't think I've gotten drunk in a while. Last time I did, I believe I found myself in a part of the pride ring I'd never been to before. Apparently, in my drunken state, I had bet quite the sum of money on a race horse...and lost."
I couldn't help but laugh a bit at that. "How much did you drink?" I ask. "Couldn't tell ya. But my pockets were hurting for a bit after that, I can say that for certain." Alastor chuckles.
"I can't even remember why I was drinking that much to begin with. But I recall Mimzy being there, and when Mimzy and I drink together...The night can take us literally anywhere. I even asked her, and she can't remember why either. But she had gotten herself into some trouble as well." He takes another swig.
"This Mimzy girl sounds like a blast." I say with a smile. "Oh, she is." Alastor chuckles. "Quite the trouble maker too. But, she's a decent woman. Me and her go way back. We were good friends when we were alive." He tells me. "We got each other out of a few sticky situations, every now and then."
"I notice your quite popular with women." I say. "You get along with them better, and it seems you only make friends with women. I'm surprised you don't have a girlfriend, or a wife." Alastor shrugs. "I was never interested. Romance, love, it was never a priority."
"Oh, I see." Something about hearing that made me a little disappointed. Not upset. But, I guess I was hoping for something? Then again, this could be a good thing. My delusions and silly emotions could finally settle. At least now, I know for sure I won't get hurt again.
Our waiter then arrived, and took our orders. As we ate, me and Alastor talked about all sorts of things. He told me a bit about his living days. How he was a popular radio host, though that was unsurprising. How he basically came from nothing made something of himself all on his own.
And being a black man in a time like that, it was more than a little difficult. But he did it, and he was damn proud of it too. He told me more stories of him and Mimzy, and from what he talked about, she was a handful. She would get herself into trouble and usually Alastor would have to help her out. But, she would always make up for it somehow.
By the end of dinner, he would take me to a jazz lounge. The relaxing atmosphere, along with a few drinks, had put me a calmer mood. While the restaurant made me a little anxious, this place was the total opposite. Jazz wasn't my most preferred music, but I still liked and appreciate it.
And as I said, it was very relaxing. I take a look around, there was a few couples in lounge, cuddled up next to each other. I smiled at the sight, but it made me a little jealous. My gaze then moved to Alastor. He was focused on the performance, so he didn't catch my stare.
Maybe it was the alcohol finally settling in, but, the lighting of the lounge made him look very handsome. And we were sitting so close, our shoulders nearly touched. My cheeks began to heat up, and I prayed he could hear my heart beating as fast as it was.
"I was never interested. Romance, love, it was never a priority."
My heart started to settle, upon remembering those words. I turn to face the stage, feeling that same twinge of disappointment again.
After that, Alastor and I took a stroll trough the city. We didn't talk much, but it was a comfortable silence. My arm interlocked with Alastors as we walked.
The night here in Hell was different from the one on Earth. Instead of a black sky full of stars, the red sky was a cool maroon. Even the bright pentagram had dimmed down, still bright enough to light the sky, but not enough to hurt your eyes. It was like looking at the moonlight.
"Y/n?"
I looked up at Alastor. "Did you have a nice time?" He asked me. I smile and nod my head. "I did. Thank you." Alastor's grin soften, he turned his attention ahead and kept walking. As we walked, the sound of music steadily grew louder.
Ahead of us, was a street performer, who was playing a saxophone. There was a small gathering of demons who watched him play, some playing money into the saxophone case next to him. He was pretty good.
Alastor suddenly stopped walking, unhooking his arm from mine, and twirled me around. "Alastor?" I gasp slightly. "May I have this dance?" He asks, pulling me close. "I thought I told you, I can't dance." I laugh weakly.
"You did fine the last time we danced." Alastor said, beginning to move. "Don't focus on the dancing, just focus on me." I tried to do what he said, keeping my eyes on him, trying to drown out my thoughts as we danced.
I follow his lead, and like before, he was perfect. I couldn't help but wonder how long he'd been dancing.
I became less tense by the second, just taking it all in. The soft music in my ears, the beautiful city lights. The very same feeling I had when Alastor held me like this before...I couldn't help but smile, and finally give in. Alastor made it clear, he wasn't interested in romance. But it was a nice thought.
It was nice to pretend for a while. Just for tonight, just in this moment.
As the song slowed to an end, Alastor and I found ourselves closer than when we started. Our lips but inches away from each other's. I half expected Alastor to back away after the song finally ended.
But, he stayed put. His eyes, looking deep into my own. I swore I saw something in his, I had never seen from him before.
It was really nice to pretend...
I inwardly sighed before pulling away from him. "That was nice." I say softly. Alastor was silent for a moment before speaking.
"Yes...Yes, it was."

Fallen {Chapter Twenty Three}
Alastor x (Fem)Reader
Tumblr media
Warning: Torture, Blood, Knives, Violence (Pretty much, Alastor just doing his thing)
A pounding headache was the first thing I felt as I open my eyes. My vision was blurred, and it was like everything was in slow motion. I heard muffled voices, going back and forth before a scream brought me to my senses. I whimper, the red hue of everything was terribly bright and there was a sharp ringing in my ears. I barely noticed the footsteps that approached me before I heard a familiar voice speaking to me.
"Y/n?" It was Alastor's voice. He crouched down and gently placed a hand on my cheek, making me focus on him. "Are you alright?" He asked. I blinked slowly. Aside from the headache, I didn't feel as if I were seriously injured. "I think so. My head hurts though..." I say weakly. "What happened?"
Alastor lifts me up, everything was still so fuzzy. My mind was still trying to catch up. "Liam attacked you. Thankfully I arrived before he could do anything more." He teleports me to my room and sets me on the bed before looking me over. "You appear to be fine. You said your head hurts?"
I nod before he places his hand gently on my head. He began to heal it. "How did you know I was in trouble?" I ask Alastor, wincing slightly. "I'm afraid I couldn't keep away, when you said you wanted to speak to that lowly man alone. So I silently watched from a distance." He starts. "And I was right to do so, it seems."
"I'm glad you did. I'm sorry, that was dumb of me." I sigh. "I just...I thought I could finally say something. I've held my tongue for so long, I just had to say something...And I didn't want anyone to get involved I guess. What happened between the two of us, is no one else's problem."
Alastor hums. "There is no shame in asking for help. I understand it can be very difficult, but that is the first step in the right direction." He moves his hand away from my head. The ache was gone.
"I also understand, there are things that need to be kept private. But as I said, seeking help is never a bad thing." He tells me. I smile a bit. "I know...Thank you Alastor, for helping me." My smile fell slightly as I ask. "W-Where is Liam now?" Alastor smirks. "Awaiting his punishment."
"Punishment?" I repeat. "I was given permission, wasn't I?" Alastor asks. He was. I'm not complaining, and I'm not going to stop him either. But I prefer not to know about just what Alastor was planning to do. "Right. I think I'm still just shaken up from what happened. Seeing Liam again, speaking with him. It's just..." I hadn't noticed, but as I spoke, my hands began to shake.
"He even blamed me. Blamed me for my death that he caused, and for him dying and ending up in hell. Can you believe that?" I laugh, tears filling my eyes. "Nothing has changed. I'm not surprised but, it still hurts. Even in death, I can't escape him..."
"Y/n." Alastor gently takes my chin and makes me look at him. "He won't be hurting you again. I'll make sure of that." His voice dipped, static filling his tone. "He will regret the day he was born, once I get my hands on him."
I know I should have been put off by his words, fearful even. But, for some reason I didn't. In fact, I'd go as far to say, I got some sense of comfort. "Do you promise?" I ask, barely above a whisper. Alastor's smile grows.
"You have my word."
Humming filled the hound's ears, causing him to slowly regain consciousness. A splitting headache greeted him before metallic scent inside the dark room he was in. Any movement he made was met with quick restraint.
His wrists throbbed at the tight squeeze of the ropes keeping him hovering off the ground. Suddenly a bright light filled the room, causing the hound to shut his eyes tightly and groan.
"Rise and shine, mutt!"
His eyes reopened and vision slowly adjusted. Only to shoot open wide at the sight of his surroundings. Blood stained walls and floors, chains and meat hooks having from the ceiling, the smell of death lingering in the air. And standing before him, was the radio demon himself. Panic finally began to set in.
"What the fuck!? Where am I!?"
"I don't think it would matter if I told you." Alastor began. "You won't ever be seeing the light of day again, after all." He says with a wicked grin. He then takes a stride to a small table, he removes the cloth covering the many sharp objects underneath. He picks up a hunting knife and looks it over. "You know, Liam, I've always loathed people like you. Taking advantage of others, lying to them..."
Alastor approached Liam, and held the tip of the knife up to his cheek. "Laying filthy hands, such are yours, on the ones who've done nothing but love and care. Just looking at you makes me sick." He says, slowly pushing the knife deeper into his flesh, causing Liam to groan in pain.
"But no matter, you'll be gone soon enough." Alastor draws the knife back swiftly, cutting Liam's cheek as he did.
"I never liked dogs. Such loud and filthy creatures, this hellish form really suits you." Alastor sneers. "And you, seem like the "all bark and no bite" kind. Sure, you'd strike someone you knew wouldn't fight back. But when honestly up against someone who is your match, or stronger...what would you do then?" Liam didn't have time to answer, as Alastor stabbed into his left thigh.
Liam wailed out in pain, much to Alastor's delight. "I'll tell you what you'd do. You'd go running for the hills, with your tail tucked between your legs. And I'd know...I've faced off with a demon of my past." Alastor pushes the knife in slow. "And he did the. Exact. Same. Thing." The knife pushed in deeper and deeper with every word.
"He saw me as the same little boy he knew from day one. But, when I showed him just how deadly I could be...Oh...Oh the look on his face, I'll forever savor that look. The fear he felt...The screams I ripped from him. All up until he finally croaked. And intend to do the exact same to you..." Alastor roughly removed the knife.
"P-Please...Please, just l-let me go!" Laim pitifully begged. Alastor scoffed. "And just allow you to continue your heinous acts? I don't think so."
"L-Look, if this is about Y/n...I-I'll leave her alone. I swear! I'll stay away from her! Please, I-" Again the knife found it's way onto Liam's body, this time slicing up through his arm, all the way to his shoulder. Liam screamed and thrashed around, though, the restrictive rope made it difficult to move much.
"It'll be someone else, if not Y/n." Alastor says simply. "People like you don't change. I don't know if you truly can't or simply don't want to. But I don't really care...You're going to die here. Alone. And the last thing you will see, will be me, as I tear your still beating heart from your chest." He says darkly before removing the knife, and walking back to the table. This time, he pulled out a sharp butcher knife.
"Let's get started, shall we?"
"Liam? Liam!" Charlie called as she searched around the hotel. "Where is he?" She mutters. "He's going to miss out on today's activity."
"Hello, Charlie!"
Charlie gasped sharply before turning around to be met with Alastor. "God, Alastor. I hate it when you do that." She sighs. "Apologies, but it's just too much fun to see your reaction!" Alastor says with a laugh. Charlie rolls her eyes. "Alastor, have you see Liam anywhere? No one can find him, and I'm getting worried." Alastor hums, placing his finger to his chin, as if in thought. "No, I'm afraid I haven't." He says after a few seconds. Again, Charlie sighs. "I wonder where he could be."
"He probably bailed."
Alastor and Charlie turned to see Angel approaching them. "Why would he do that?" Charlie asks the spider demon. "Probably cause he doesn't care, and was here just to start shit." Angel says, crossing his arms.
Charlie frowns. "Angel. That's not what he was doing." She says firmly. "Psh, yeah right. The dude was super fucking shady. I don't understand how none of you saw through his bullshit."
"Angel!" Charlie scolds. "I'm afraid I have to agree with him." Alastor chimes in. Charlie gave him a look. "What? Why?" She asks. "Well my dear, I'm a somewhat good judge of character. And in all honesty, it would be a bit too random for someone to suddenly want to come here. We haven't done much advertising since we threw that ball. It all seems too convenient." Alastor shrugs.
"I'm glad he got lost. I had a feeling I wouldn't get along to well with that prick." Said Angel. Charlie groans before starting to walk away. "Well I was looking forward to a new guest! I guess I'll just have to try harder to bring people in..."
Angel waits for Charlie to be far enough away before speaking to Alastor. "Is Y/n alright? Did she know that guy?" He asks. "That's not my business to tell, but yes, Y/n is fine." Alastor says before starting off as well.
"You got rid of him, didn't you?"
Alastor pauses, Angel continues. "Thanks for looking out for Y/n. You must really care about her, huh?" Alastor looks over his shoulder. "I don't know what you mean." He says before continuing on his way.

Heaven Is Where You Are
Chapter Two
Lucifer x Fem!Reader
Tumblr media
Warning(s): Slight Angst
Charlie had returned your clothes to you after they were washed clean from the blood. After getting dressed, you joined Charlie in the hotel lobby. But she wasn't the only one waiting.
There were a few other demons in the lobby as well.
"How are you feeling, Y/n?" Charlie asks as she approaches you. "Better, thank you." You tell her with a small smile. "So um, who are they?"
"These are my friends, they also help out around the hotel." Says Charlie, turning to the group of demons. "Everyone, this is Y/n." You waved slightly, feeling awkward. And a tad intimidated, due to the demon with one eye staring at you.
Charlie listed everyone's names as she introduced them to you. You felt a little uncomfortable as you were introduced to Alastor. He looked as if he were plotting something, with that malicious grin of his.
But, you felt more scared of the tiny one eye demon, Niffty. So small and yet, so terrifying...
"So you ain't dead after all?" Asked a tall lanky spider demon. "And you're an angel?"
"Yes and uh, well no, not anymore." You mutter. "Um, I don't know if Charlie has told you, but, I'm not one of the exorcist angels."
"You know about them? I thought Heaven was keeping that kind of information secret." Said Vaggie. Strange, she looked awfully familiar...
"Well, one angel in particular has a big mouth." You sigh.
"Adam." Charlie and Vaggie say in unison. Charlie shook her head before her smile returned. "Anyhow, I was wondering if you had anywhere to stay for the time being?"
You shook your head. "I didn't really plan that far ahead." You admit. "Then you can stay here!" Charlie says cheerfully. "Oh, I don't want to intrude." You say.
"Trust me, we can use all the people we can get." Charlie mutters. "Lots of empty rooms."
"But it looks so nice...Are those barricades?"
"Yeah." Charlie laughs weakly. "Sorry, tomorrow is going to be...rough. I'm sure you know why." Oh that's right. But wait, it's too early for the yearly extermination, isn't it?
"But it hasn't even been a year." You say, confused. Charlie crosses her arms, a look of frustration on her face as she spoke. "Adam decided to move it up early. He's coming right for the hotel with his army of angels."
You sigh. You never did like Adam. He was the absolute worst, and now he's gone and done something as rash as this? And here you thought he couldn't get anymore terrible.
You wish there was something you could do to help. But without your wings, you were pretty much useless...
"But that doesn't matter right now." Charlie reaches for her phone. "For now, you and a certain someone have need to have a reunion." She grins.
Suddenly, you were overwhelmed with nerves, but also excitement. You were moments away from seeing Lucifer again after all this time. What would you say?
Gosh, how did you even look right now?
That fall did more than just hurt you. You were sure you looked a mess.
"Do you mind if I straighten myself up a little? I'd like to look presentable for Lucifer. It'd be a shame to be apart for thousands of years, only to reunite looking a mess." You say with a chuckle.
Charlie nods. "Of course, take your time."
You quickly thank her before rushing upstairs and back to the room you were in to freshen up.
Tumblr media
You looked at yourself in the mirror, you looked much better, aside from the obvious nervous look on your face. It really has been thousands of years. Was he still the same Lucifer you knew back then? Has he changed at all? And if so, how much?
No one really spoke much about Lucifer back in Heaven. Other than to recall the story of his exile. You couldn't help but wonder.
What has ten thousand years of damnation done to him?
There was a knock at the door, causing you to gasp. You became less tense as you heard Charlie's voice.
"Y/n, you in there?"
You stepped out of the bathroom and into the bedroom, looking ahead at the door. "Yes." You tell her. There were sounds of muffled voices from the other side of the door. Charlie's and...
Your heart rate sky rocketed at the sound of the other voice. It sounded so much like his. It had to be him.
You stepped closer to the door and listened carefully.
'So, what was it you called me for again? Is everything alright?'
It was him.
You felt tears gathering in your eyes, you kept listening.
'I have a surprise for you. And I know you're going to love it!' Said Charlie excitedly.
'Heh, I must, if you say I will.'
'Y/n? Can I come in?'
You take a breath to push back the shakiness of your voice. "Yes, you can."
You took a step back as the door opened. Charlie couldn't hold back her excitement, she stepped aside, revealing the man you've longed to see for so long.
Lucifer's wide eyes met your own. The two of you fell silent at the sight of each other.
He looked different. No longer wearing the angelic robes he once wore in Heaven, now sporting sharp fangs and claws, and his eyes blood red.
But you knew it was him. Despite everything, it's still him...
"Y/n..." Your name fell from Lucifer's lips, and it sounded so heavenly coming from him.
"Lu-"
You could barely get his name out as he brought you into a tight embrace. There was nothing holding back the damn in your eyes now, as the tears streamed down your cheeks.
Charlie smiled warmly, stepping out of the room and shutting the door, leaving you two alone.
You then felt Lucifer's hands rubbing at your back.
"What have they done to you?" His voice wavered.
You sigh into his chest. "I allowed it." Lucifer furrowed his brows and pulled back to look at you. "You did this asked for this? You fell...willingly?" You nod. "Why? Why would you have done that?" You were silent for a moment. Lucifer's confusion turned into concern, and maybe even panic.
"Y/n...Don't tell me you let yourself fall from Heaven...for me."
You smiled, moving your hand up to his cheek. "I couldn't stand it Lucifer. So many nights I spent alone, and all I could do was pray for a moment like this. Lucifer..."
"Being apart from you, killed me."
Tears pooled in Lucifer's eyes. "You gave up everything...There's no going back from here Y/n. Don't you understand? You don't deserve to be here. Down here...this awful place, it's not for you."
"Like Heaven was any better." You mutter. "I know everything about what really goes on there. I don't understand how they can call themselves angels. The lies, the secrets, the exterminations...." You sigh before leaning back onto his chest. "I didn't see a point of staying any longer."
"But you've lost everything for me." Said Lucifer. You furrow your brows slightly. "You make that sound like a bad thing."
"It is." Lucifer turns his gaze away from you. "I don't deserve to see you again, and you didn't deserve to loose your place in Heaven because of someone like me."
"Lucifer..." You reach for his hand, but he pulls back. Still not looking at you, he speaks. "I'm not the same person I was back then, Y/n. So much has happened since I fell. Sure, some good but...bad things too. I just don't want you to regret your choice."
"Talk to me Lucifer."
Lucifer glanced at you, your smile weakened. "It's been ten thousand years after all."

Picture it, if you will (lol)
Alastor and his (deer) wife, who has the same character traits as Lady Dimitrescu, including the claw hand as a weapon.
Everyone would mistake her as a vulnerable woman, until she pulls out that claw hand and tears them to shreds. All with a (blood stained) smile on her face.
Just one of the many things Alastor loves about her❤️

"I tried to warn you."
Lucifer lays in bed, groaning as he hugs one pillow close to him. He had recently kicked the covers off himself after getting too hot, but now, he felt a terrible chill run through him.
The king was unfortunately sick, and he felt like garbage.
"I told you that overworking and not taking proper care of yourself would lead to this." You sigh as you sit in the empty spot next to him. "Ready for the next dose?"
Lucifer would have made a break for it after hearing that question. However his body betrayed him, feeling as if someone had tied boulders to his arms and legs.
He groaned again and hid his face in the pillow. "I'd rather suffer." You roll your eyes at his childish behavior. But you couldn't blame him. The medicine tasted god awful, and it was thick too, making it harder to down in one shot.
"Well, I don't want you to suffer." You say, placing a hand to his head. "You'll feel so much better if you take it, Luci." Lucifer looked up at you with a pitiful gaze. "I promise." You add.
Lucifer sighed. "I can't believe I got this sick. I also can't believe how much it's wearing me down. My body hasn't ached this much since I fell from Heaven." He sits up, wincing as he does so.
"Yeah, getting sick is a bitch." You chuckle. "It's a good thing you have special doctors just for you. I don't think I'd trust just anyone here giving you any type of medicine. Now, please." You hold the small cup of dark purple liquid to him.
Lucifer inhales deeply. "Ok." He takes it and actually manages to get it all down in one go. He holds back the urge to gag, a shiver runs up his spine. "How can something so disgusting help you feel better?"
You shrug. "I don't know, but it does." You place your hand on his. "And it will. Trust me."
Lucifer cracks a small smile. "I do trust you. But, you really should get going don't you think? I don't want you to get sick because of me."
"Luci. I'm not leaving, until I know you're better." You say with a smile. "I don't care if I get sick."
Lucifer blushes a bit. "Y-You should!" You chuckle before handing Lucifer a glass of water. "Shh, just relax. I got you."
Lucifer takes a sip, grateful that the awful taste was fading from his tongue. "You're too good to me." He mutters, blush still present on his face. You smile before taking a cold rag and wiping the sweat from his forehead. "Only the best for you." You say softly.
...
"I tried to warn you."
You frown at Lucifer's words before a string of coughs left you. "Shut it." You say with a scratchy voice. Lucifer hands you that terrible medicine.
"Don't worry, love. Just relax, I got you." Lucifer tells you. You couldn't help but smile. "Thank you Luci. And sorry, I should have listened."
Lucifer shrugs. "Eh, it's not so bad. Now we get to spend all day in bed, watching terrible sitcoms. What could be better than that?" He snuggles up next to you.
You lean into him and sigh softly. "Maybe if we weren't sick." You joked. Lucifer rolls his eyes. "I guess so. But then we would have to make up an excuse to be lazy in bed."
"Any excuse to spend more time with you is a good excuse." You grin.
Lucifer's face heated up, he cleared his throat and tried to change the subject. "Man this show is awful isn't it? How do people watch this?"
"You're blushing." You say teasingly. "I-I am not! My face is just hot!" Lucifer huffs.
You laugh lightly. "Whatever you say, Luci."
