Was inspired by @wolfsvile's (twt) ppg iteration and decided to draw around its concept with my own take of how they came to be :)

tried to stay loyal to their og shape language while straying further from the simplicity of the style, and picked up a few things from astroboy and my life as a teenage robot

I’m running an Introductory Animation Workshop with creative arts students this Saturday (August 20, 2016) for The School of Creative Arts Open Day at Melbourne Polytechnic’s Prahran Campus. I’ve rotoscoped and broken down some of the greatest dance gifs to their basic poses and we’re going to collaboratively design characters then MAKE THEM DANCE!!

My throat didn’t hurt at all yesterday and I had convinced myself I was just being paranoid and I definitely wasn’t sick. And then today my throat started hurting wayyyy more…. It’s so over…

My partner has covid and we’ve been quarantining as best we can in our one bedroom apartment. I tested negative this morning but as soon as I sat down at work today my throat starting hurting….

#still have tested negative but I just don’t believe them anymore #have to take another tomorrow so we will see but I think it’s not gonna be good #oh well…

So I started reading never let me go by kazuo ishiguro because I got this tik tok on my fyp saying it was the most heartbreaking book they’ve ever read. I am a sucker for heartbreaking books (I blame the fact that I read all of John greens books as a preteen) so I was like “heck yes I’m going to read this.” And while I’m not very far into it yet I was NOT expecting this dystopian 1990s plot… I was very taken off guard hahah

#spoilers in tags #don’t get me wrong tho it’s definitely really good and I can tell it’s about to get real sad #just wasn’t expecting the plot to be about kids who are raised with the sole purpose of being organ farms for other people #not really sure what I was expecting but the back of the book just made it seem like it was going to be about childhood friends reconnectin #I thought it was going to be about like lost time I guess? not give me an crisis about the loss of my innocence hahah #really good tho

Part 5!

Well. It's been exactly one year since I started this comic. Which is pretty impressive for my tiny attention span. This is the biggest of my stories and I'm so damn proud (and surprised) that I was able to finish it haha

Quick q&a because I know a lot of you would ask something like this:

Why didn't I add "x" to the comic? - Because I didn't want to.

Why did I add "x" to the comic? - Because I wanted to.

This story was improv from start to finish and that means I added and took away many things. I don't regret any of them haha
