Finally! Final pieces
Finally, I am done my art work. I took a picture different angle for showing different mood and shape. In addition, I added on a little bit graphic skill on the top which is designed by grey colour. It seems like more 3-Dimensional and looks cool to be collaborated with line, sculpture and colour each other. Line is also my initial important art concept so that I am so proud of myself to finished my final art work. To go final degree show!

Cushion sculpture build up processing
In the middle of time, I changed my sculpture so that comes out some of part ( on the top). Because of my artworks theme is claustrophobia and then wanted to be shown dizzy and confuse. So my first sculpture which is designed flat surface, it should not be made a mood confusing eyesight to us. So that I used to hard form and then stick on my cushions on the there and then made a 3D surface.

Firstly, I stick on cushions each other as like small pieces and then making more bigger then bigger to build up each pieces.
Also, I try to make a different direction so that my sculpture can be exhibited all of aspects.

Making cushions
take a these cushions as different angle. And then I stick on each other using strong glue. These shape seems to abstract sculpture and makes mine’ feeling very dizzy also my eye sight cannot see for a long time. Their edge of cushions looks like very sharp and bring scared emotion as like when I felt phobia at my room. So it can be explained why I choose triangle shape for making my sculpture. I will creating huge stripe sculpture and using these two type’ stripe to be mixed.

Making cushions
I have making a lot of cushions which different type’ stripe fabric. One of thing is that stripe is so thin whereas other thing is more thick.
I sightly changed skill from sewing to glue in order to make a cushion. It is the better than sewing for creating cushions more quickly. Also, when I make them, I tried to make a different style cushion as like to be shown different stripe angle. As if packing gift.

My main material is stripe cotton which is designed as like cushions and then arranged by huge sculpture. The reason why I sewing by myself is that it is my pleasure during making cushions. I need to make a cushions a lot for making my sculpture so never stop to make it.

Inspired artist
I drawn my final sculpture shape and then how to install my works. And then I have thinking whether I will painting my wall to black and white stripe or not for disorient affect with my sculpture. By chance, I found out one of op art piece as like second picture and the last one is exhibited in Japan.
Also, I am so confused if I decided to paint my wall black and withe, which style is more dizzy. stable or unstable stripe...?

Inspired artist_ Ernesto Neto
I have considering how to exhibit my stripe sculpture. Also whether I display my works perfect to do not be touched by viewers or not. His works look like very amazing and many viewers are able to attend so that can be felt and touched.
Ernesto Neto was born in 1964 in Rio de Janeiro, the artist continues to live and work in Brazil. He studied at the city’s Escola de artes visuais do Parque Lage in 1994 and in 1997, and also attended the Sao Paulo Museum of Modern Art from 1994 to 1996.
He is a Brazilian Conceptual artist whose installations offer a chance for the viewer to touch, see, smell, and feel his artworks for a truly sensory experience. “For me, mind and body are one thing, always together,” the artist has said. “I believe in the sensual body, and it is through the movement of such body-minds that we connect the things in this world, in life—the way we touch, the way we feel, the way we think and the way we deal.” His practice explores the boundaries of physical and social space through interactive, tactile, and biomorphic structures.
Since the mid-1990s, Ernesto Neto has produced an influential body of work that explores constructions of social space and the natural world by inviting physical interaction and sensory experience.
His installation method as like space, shape and drooping materials to floor, it gives to feel exciting or disorienting. My work theme is phobia and then intention is affect to viewer optical illusion to use stripe sculpture. His works are very big sculpture making me think about my final artworks.

It was very exciting to see her/his works because when I researched only throughout book or images for my dissertation. It really makes my eyes sensory disorienting and remember op art theories.

Victoria and Albert Museum
My first trip place was V&A. There is a lot of type’s works especially some of them catches my attention. Sculpture area, when I looked at them, they makes me bring my memories that I visited in Italy. They look like small Italy.
In addition, they exhibit Asia works including Korea, China and Japan but my country section is not various when I compared with other countries works. If I hope that will be exhibited Korea style art works in the world more than now.

Lee Corner’ Lecture
what do you want to do after 5 years?
This question make me considering what I want to be a person or do in company. It was very serious questions to me because of consideration of my after uni that when I go back to Korea.
Finally I decided to do this for my life which are
1) Sign - Cheil Company : which is the best advertising company in Korea and put under the command in Samsung. This company demands creative ideas so that many employees has free time not to much getting under pressure. However they have to bring creative and innovation ideas.
2) Big Ben - Back to London : Cheil, this company is located in many countries. specially if I can work in Cheil, I really would like to work in London.
3) Flight / Luggage - Sojourning employee : I expect to have a experience variously in other world until under 50 years.
4) Want to be a Career Woman in Cheil
5) If I can get a chance to exhibit my works, I want to do. Do not want to stop my artistic sense. I love painting.

Contemporary Art & Illustration Corridor Exhibition
8th December 16:30-18:30
We had having a grateful time which is Corridor Exhibition before Christmas break time. This piece is one of my favorite images. The longest stripe pattern looks like very attractive to me so that is a reason why I decided to display this image. This exhibitions was very useful to be an real art student. I learnt how to show my works more efficiently and how it can be in harmony with other works. It will be good experience even if after graduation.
