I wish there were less self sacrifice theories in TBB because. The thing is.

Self sacrifice is not really a big character defining thing for a clone character. Like, what a shock, the people raised from birth to view themselves as expendable cannon fodder are willing to sacrifice themselves at the drop of a hat, call the news right now immediately.

I simply have no desire to watch any of the batch self sacrifice. And even though I think he's alive, I didn't like it as even a potential ending to Tech's story either. It adds nothing, says nothing, it is literally the starting point that every clone is born on. Your individual life means nothing, you were created to die in battle.

And the show is supposed to be about finding a purpose outside of that, being more than just soldiers, and yet theory after theory wants to just box them back into dying as soldiers and oh my God its boring to even envision. Clone characters dying has been done over and over and over again, the batch actually surviving is just plain the more interesting option.

Okay, here’s a list of things I think Omega should do with the force without a lightsaber.

Shoots perfect shots in impossible situations, if she was blind folded, in another room, didn’t actually know who she was supposed to shoot at, is able to use crosshairs reflector disks without doing the math or having the sight to see

Set off bombs, just by pressing the detonator button with the force

force healing

actually be good at stealth mission

know where the enemy is at all times

Perhaps we could bring back force speed, I think it would be useful as hell for her

Know if any prisoners they’re interrogating are lying(she already does this honestly)

generally just be a good shot, good pilot, good strategist(which she already does) which are traits known to be found in force sensitive people.

If she ever finds herself without a weapon she could use the force to take her opponents weapon out of their hands and into hers

Or, she could pick up the closet thing with the force and chuck it at them.(remember when Maul ripped the panels off the walls to use as weapons?)

All this to say, I’ve been hoping Star Wars would delve into how people who don’t have any Jedi or Sith training could use the force in more creative ways than we usually see. Omega is clearly force sensitive based on what we’ve gathered in season 3 as well as hints dropped in all three seasons, so I think Star Wars has a perfect opportunity to show us this through Omega.

IF Omega is force sensitive, which I think she will be then I don’t want her to be lightsaber force sensitive, I want her to be shooting at people she can’t even see and hitting them dead in the eyes force sensitive

Hilarious random Bad Batch headcanon:

Whenever they know an explosion is about to go off, someone yells “Earmuffs!” and the person closest to Omega will grab her and get their hands over her ears before the explosion goes off. This is to give her as much ear protection as possible and to mitigate whatever potential hearing loss she might acquire because she doesn’t have the same protection their helmets give them.

Wrecker doing Explosion!Earmuffs is hysterical because his hands are just so comically large in comparison to Omega’s head.

Echo usually winds up wrapping his left arm around her head and pulling her into him to do a modified Explosion!Earmuffs.

Hunter will also use his whole body to protect Omega while he’s doing Explosion!Earmuffs. (Protective Dad is going to protective.)

Tech is a bit more of a spider monkey and gets Omega wrapped up safely with his arms as he’s doing Explosion!Earmuffs.

Crosshair, when he rejoins, is more straightforward. He just gets his hands over her ears when he realizes what “Earmuffs!” means.

And sometimes, it gets extra funny when the situation is super chaotic.

Something is about to blow up. Everyone yells, “Earmuffs!” at once and dives for Omega. Once the explosion goes off and the dust settles, Omega is in the middle of a pile of her brothers with their hands layering over her ears. When asked if she’s okay, she just smiles sweetly and goes, “I’m fine.”

let’s be real here …..the reason so many people irrationally dislike phee and tech is because of internalized racism or just like …plain old loud and proud racism.

if you’re that unable to accept a romance with your fave character because the character doesn’t look anything like you, you have a serious lack of empathy and need to take a hard look in a mirror.

also like lol welcome to the experience of every non-white person who has ever lived. they’ve had to identify with characters who don’t look anything like them for centuries.

God forbid non-white fans have ONE (1) character in this universe who somewhat reflects an experience they know.

My god some of you can really be insufferable. Just say you’re mad he had/has? a love interest that isn’t the one you’ve concocted in your head and go.
