Adrian Graye post finale time skip!

He has not handled things well, as you can see. Turns out, realizing everything you worked for was a lie and all the terrible things you did were for nothing kinda has a negative effect on your mental health.

He kinda disappeared from the public eye after he was no longer needed for the stability of the Boiling Isle and has just been wallowing in self pity. No one has really noticed since he doesn't actually have famiky or friends (any he did have were probably as shallow and stuck up as he is and ditched him) so he's only really gotten worse and is living off of his savings

I have a fic idea of either Raine or Darius and Eber finding out how he's doing but I ain't confident in my ability to write any of those three dfjvjg

Fane and palisman art!

For clarification on Fane not being satisfied with glyph magic he felt disconnected from the magic being cast and was upset that glyphs couldn't be used in the human realm like other forms of magic. So instead they decided to study witch and demon biology to see if the magical bile sacs could be at all replicated on a human. This won't at all develop into an obsession, not a chance in the world

As for Fane's pslisman it's a reflection of this totally not developing obsession. While it can create magic on its own like any palisman is can also absorb the magic out of other magical creatures to empower it for a time. It doesn't absorb enough to be a real threat to most creatures since it's little body can only hold so much

I'll make a more proper design for Fane's palisman but I've got a vague idea going!

I imagine Fane barely let the green paint finish drying before awakening his palisman. In reality it probably took them months to figure out just how deep seeded this desire for magic was and that he'd do anything to get it

And, yes, they carved that palisman very poorly. His ah does not know woodworking. Why not go to a palisman carver? Fane kinda sorta stole it sooo-
