Okay, I’m going to try to explain my bucktommy (kinley?? 👀) thing. Breaking my silence and whatnot.

My ships always seem so angsty and FRAUGHT, and I’ve seen that that’s a huge thing for the rest of this website as well. We love the pining and the yearning and the pain. And those narratives are fun to explore!

Now we’ve been given this lovely, tender, CANONNNNNN gay relationship on NETWORK TV, and I want to be HAPPY about it. I’ll be going about my day and suddenly think about them and realize I’m grinning like an idiot in public. They’re so sweet together, they like each other so much, they’re communicating about their feelings and exploring what that could mean for them.

I didn’t even know that this was what I had been dreaming of in my ~13 years in fandom. I’ve truly never felt like this about a ship before. I don’t need any goggles, I don’t need any word of god confirmation, I just get to see two people fall in love.
