Just thinking about how Rhysand was in pure utter shock when he realized Feyre was his mate. Then immediately winnowed away, saw Mor for the first time in 50 years, and immediately started talking about how Feyre was his mate.

Lucien couldn’t winnow away in shock. He had to stay right there. Feel all the devastation that Jesminda was not his mate. The confusion that Elain is his mate. The guilt that Jesminda died in vain. The fear for Elain. The understanding why he was so upset as she was going into the cauldron. Probably trying to push down the inevitable feeling of panic realizing this situation is near identical to Jesminda being killed. The utter anger at Tamlin. The disgust of Ianthe. The mindfuck that Feyre was Rhyss mate.

That’s a lot. A LOT. going on at once. Yet people try to paint him as some kind of macho man claiming Elain. No, you dimwits, he was in shock along with a lot of other emotions. The same as Rhys was when he realized. But he had to deal with it right there. Because he couldn’t run away.

remember when lucien gifted elain those pearl earrings on winter solstice and it was awkward and uncomfortable and everybody was just staring as he tried not to look so devastated.and then lucien proceeded to not receive any gifts not even from feyre who he never forgets to gift something ,who’s supposed to be his friend.and that same night elain&azriel almost smooched just a floor below him .yeah what was that 🙁

I loved reading about Feyre painting as I myself like to paint. And people saying she couldn't paint was actually ruining it a bit.

If feyre is a bad painter

Then aelin is a bad pianist

Bryce is a bad dancer

Why would sjm give something to a character that makes her so happy, just for her to be trash at it? Meanwhile no one is saying this about the other two
