Okay this will be a long rant but pls take time to read it. So this is what I’ve observed among fans nowadays, I’m not generalizing it though I could say it’s pretty common specially in the Philippines. (Idk if other countries have this kimd of fans too, perhaps but this is what I have observed from ph fans) At first there was rpworld where they roleplay as their idols. I think it has died a little now. Recently they started to create fan accounts (like another account dedicated for spazzing). There’s nothing wrong about that specially because it prevents you from annoying your non kpop friends. It does become wrong tho when you start to think you’re a notch higher than the other fans because of all those likes you get. It’s like you’re forgetting what that account was for, you’re just a fan, you’re not the idol. Okay there are “sempais” who aren’t like this. I’m just sick of those who starts to comment about other fans. They’re already discriminating people. Here are some common situations. 1. They label fans “jeje fans” jeje is hard to explain to international fans but to make it simple, saying that a person is jeje is like saying that he/she’s so not cool, the loser, that basic bitch trying to look cool. They call you a jeje fan when you ~make mistakes with the member’s name, like messing up their surnames ~fail to know facts “the fandom must know” like if you didn’t know that xiumin is minseok. ~wear a kpop shirt you bought in the local market especially if it had some defects like if WOLF 88 is printed in front ~just simply making mistakes All because you look like you’re pretending to be in that fandom to look cool and to gain followers and likers But what if that fan who didn’t know Kyungsoo is D.O’s real name, that fan who didn’t know Zhoumi and Henry, that fan who didn’t know that BTS is different from EXO, what if that fan who made a mistake is just a newbee fan? He/she might not go on liking kpop if we judge them that easily. We all went through that stage of not knowing everything, who are we to judge? 2. They complain about “credits” Well credits is a must to keep what’s rightfully yours. This is my opinion though, why? We post these imagines, scenarios, jokes, memes and stuff for our idols, not for ourselves. Being so angry just because someone copy-pasted your status and not giving propper credits is like saying “that’s mine you can’t use what’s mine to gain likes.” If you really don’t care about the likes and stuff and you’re sincerely dedicating your account to your idol, credits shouldn’t matter. But no, it’s about your fame within the fandom and that’s what makes it so wrong. 3. Status that are attacking other fans like when you were an smstan then the next day you were a ygstan and they start calling you a fake one and even put it in their status. Oh and of course, FANWARS I probably missed some but these are what annoys me the most. Though there are fans who knows who they are and are still humble. There are still fans that genuinely supports their idols through sns. But for those who have forgotten that we’re all just fans, it’s time to think bro. We’re all equal here. Lol they might not even read this post from an unpopular fan but I hope I get to open their eyes somehow. This is my personal opinion. Please everyone let’s not be too judgemental.

You know what’s hard? When all of your top biases are active on their instagram accounts and they post one after the other. (Specially Chanyeol) They’re repeatedly killing me 24 hours a day. I’m enjoying it though. I just wish people would stop commenting harsh comments. Don’t hurt the boys.

Last night was devastating.

It started when my friend and I talked about Sehun’s injured hand. It’s too painful to think that he still performed with all his strength despite of his injury. This kid is professional but he’s not given as much spotlight as the rest of EXO gets. Sehun’s lines in the previous albums are too short and now, in overdose, correct me if I’m wrong but he only got 24 seconds in the entire album. In the choreography, most of the time he’s in the back. His bandmates are getting casted to shows while there’s nothing for him. Maybe not many of you would agree if I’ll say that Sehun’s singing voice is good. Of course that statement is biased because he’s my favorite member, but really, when I first listened to Baby months ago, Sehun’s voice kept playing on my ears. He has this unique voice I can’t really describe. Sehun loves his hyungs so much. You know his username in instagram right? He did it by age, in which he is last. This kid’s humble and hardworking. He can be naughty and playful at times but that’s his charm. I really wish SMent will give him more exposure because really, the world needs to know how good our Sehun is. My friend and I went too far with our conversation that both of us started to cry. You may think we’re just overreacting but, for us Sehun’s important and it’s freaking sad that there’s nothing we can do for him but pray and post things like this.
