~~~ Hello guys! Sorry for being inactive lately. My wrist has been hurting for the past weeks so I took a break from drawing.

I figure I should post some of my old art while I'm still recovering, but most of them are just vent art that I don't have the guts to share yet because I find them too personal lol.

What brand of paint did u use for ur rapunzel art? I bought some gold paint before but it's not as opaque.

Joy fluid acrylics! It's not as opaque too so you have to apply several layers. I think i did about 3 layers. Here's a pic of the actual product :)

I just bought a gold paint from our local art store and i've been experimenting on it for a few days. Gotta love the effect it gives on my drawings.

And because it's gold and it's glowing, i thought using the paint would be perfect for a rapunzel fan art. ^_^

Hey there! I'm fiona.

I just want to drop this first drawing I made for the year 2024 as my debut piece on Tumblr. I just recently got back into drawing for myself after a very long hiatus (~3 yrs ???), and i just thought that tumblr might be a safe place for me to start my art journey all over again.

Anyway, this drawing is a fan art of my favorite cartoon show (combo niños) that solidified my love of drawing back when i was 12.

This debut piece is quite symbolic for me. The fireworks symbolize the start of a new year (a year that hopefully would be a good year for me omg pls lol), and along with the fireworks are my all-time favorite characters that started it all for me. I want this piece to be a reminder that i draw because i love to draw, and i want to improve myself.

tbh, i was holding back on posting this art because i thought it wasn't good enough. Right when i started rendering this piece, i already wanted to redo the whole drawing all over again because the composition and the colors that i chose weren't looking good to me. But then i thought, it's fine. maybe a few years i'll look back on this art and be proud of myself for how far i've come when i remake this piece again.
