I know I haven’t been on here much but I gotta say, cutting myself off of most social media and not interacting with toxic people has probably been the best decision I’ve ever made

#im incredibly happy with my life at the moment it’s a dream come true #and i literally have ZERO drama #ive realized that debating/arguing about things on social media means absolutely nothing #people waste so much time and energy over the most stupid things #like anytime I see any discourse on here im reminded of how none of it actually matters #anyway it’s late and I’m rambling like an old person but idk #im just so happy I’ve found true peace and hope everyone else can be happy as well #rubytext

just a quick update for the few people that actually follow me lmao

I ended up taking a leap of faith and fully moved to Canada to live with my boyfriend last October.

It’s been great so far, I love him and his family and I was able to bring my doggo with me as well! Sure there have been times where I miss home and my family a little, but it’s been worth it! Over time, little by little this place will feel fully like home

I know iPads are becoming a super popular drawing medium as of late, so I just wanted to put this out there: be wary of getting your device fixed at apple.

I had a barely 2 year old iPad that just up and quit working, I brought it to apple and they said it was a software issue with no fix. My apple insurance had JUST expired, so they told me I’d have to trade it in and spend $600 on a new one. I couldn’t afford that so I took it and left.

I ended up sending it to a mutual connection who fixes apple stuff on the DL. He figured out that the “software issue” was actually just a bad battery - a $100 fix. There was NO WAY that apple wasn’t going to pocket the $600 and then turn around and resell it for a profit.

This advice could go to all apple products: if they can’t fix it in the store for free take it somewhere else! They’ve made it impossible to fix at home but there are individuals out there with the tools and knowledge to fix it for less cost to you. Apple is corrupt. Don’t let them scam you like they almost did with me.

so I had got the rona last Christmas and it completely destroyed me, and left me with chronic fatigue and low energy, the long covid stuff. it was so bad, for like the first two months i could hardly get out of bed, my legs would give out on me, and I was scared to even get up and take a shower. I was really really bad off. since then I've tried lots of different vitamins, supplements, home remedies. after finding what kind of works for me, what my physical limits are, what I should and shouldn't be eating, doing some very light exercise, 7 months into everything, I'm finally FINALLY starting to feel like my old self again. like, I'm not joking when I say that it was my lowest point ever in my entire life. I was in so much pain mentally, physically, every sense of the word....being bedridden like that for two months straight, I didn't want to live like that anymore, life was not worth living anymore, I was so lonely...but, during my darkest hour, I met someone, someone with the kindest heart I'd ever seen...it was someone online through a game, but they were so nice, so warm and kind to me...they had no idea I was physically falling apart day after day, but they were always there to hang out with me. and, what do you know, this happened two months after I got covid, and my health instantly started to improve, even if very slowly. and i mean it when I say I believe he actually saved my life and he didn't even know. and now, he's my loving, caring boyfriend who I love with all my heart, been with me every step of the way, and I’ll be traveling soon to meet him face to face for the first time. and it might be me being all mushy, but I truly believe that he’s the one who I wanna spend the rest of my life with, he makes life worth living again.
