Just to be clear, my opinion of steven is based on the current situation. I don't know the man personally and I think anybody being racist towards him and covering it up as anger needs to go fuck themselves.

With that out of the way, I don't like the fact that his Instagram post felt extremely insincere and passive aggressive in a way. "For those who want to keep watching" SOME OF THEM CAN'T FUCKING AFFORD IT, BRUV! I've seen watcher fans saying that the price of their streaming service is what they spend on food because they're living paycheck to paycheck. You, however, drive a fucking tesla and get to make shows about eating expensive foods. You are extremely privileged and also, you're the CEO of Watcher. What you're doing is going to take away some people's biggest comfort for monetary gain.

Ryan, Shane, I'm extra disappointed in the two of you. Followed you from buzzfeed to now, and I'll likely still keep up but I'm not going to ignore the fact that this is React World levels of scummy. The money you make in a month via patreon (if we assume everyone is only paying for the 5 dollar tier) is practically the average yearly salary in the US but you also need to factor in how many of your fans are students or live in poorer areas.

I'm so so disappointed and I'm not alone.

3 episodes left. I am damn near certain next week is CX-2 reveal week and that still leaves two episode to sort shit out. I'm also fairly sure that bad batch fans might actually fucking riot if this show ends without a) tech coming back and b) a happy ending. We deserve it at this point because we've been put through too much pain.
