"taken" style action movie where a man searches for his wife. as he fights baddies in gunfights and hand-to-hand combat, it's slowly revealed that:

his wife hasn't been kidnapped

their marriage is not healthy or functional

this guy isn't rescuing his wife, he's hunting her down

his wife is a crime boss, those are her henchpeople he's fighting in a john-wick bloodbath

the tension builds until, drenched in blood, our protagonist steps forward for the final showdown. he pulls a manila envelope from his bullet-torn jacket and throws it at his wife's feet. he's just spent an entire trilogy biting & killing & maiming....all so he can deliver his shit wife her divorce papers

🎉The Monthly Initiative!🎉

What is it?

The Monthly Initiative is a monthly event where people can participate and win. Whether you specialise in drawing or writing, photography, or building you can still participate and win! Each Initiative has it's own tailored theme. You can work with any genre, style, or angle but just make sure it follows the theme in some form.

❓How will it work?❓

The moderators and owner will randomly select members to be judges. It's optional to become one, not required so don't feel pressured into saying yes! These randomly selected judges will then vote over the course of the 4 weeks and the most **'🌸' **reacted role will win!

Initiatives last for 1st of each month to the 1st of the next month, most of the time anyway. If everyone of people have submitted before the deadline then we can cut off the extended time. Or, a poll will be held to suggest so.

The Monthly Initiative is an optional event to participate in but if you do join in submit your piece of work to either Sam or Kum Berals DMs and we will list it!

❓What prizes are included?❓

There are 5 prizes (5 places) in general but if you do not win or you are a selected judge you still get something out of it!

彡 INNOVATION 彡 - New partnerships and colour roles!

Recently added #partnerships, #rules and #our-ad.

We thought to help grow our server and help other servers out in the process we'd introduce partnerships. We only accept and review servers that are in line with our servers themes (more of that in #rules) and more.

We also introduce our first #partnership, INK! Ran by Otis.

We're now looking on introducing other things too such as a shop and more colour roles; maybes even a special event 😼. I'm incredibly happy of the servers state so far. Despite the lack of support from disboard we've managed to keep the server active by discussing writing and other things in #general. I love a good small community and the server so far is a good example of it!

If you wish to suggest items for the shop or other things please leave them in #suggestions! I will greatly benefit from it.

A Writeblr Introduction

I'm new to these parts so I figure I might as well introduced myself as seems to be customary from my understanding.

You can call me Luchador Bard. A wandering enjoyer and creator of stories of the written word. I'm a big fan of Pro-wrestling, TTRPGS, Video games, Sci-fi, fantasy and speculative fiction at large.

I'm currently aspiring to be formally published in some form or another some day! Until then, hope you enjoy the journey as much as I do.
