✨ genderfluid is not binary ✨
i >hate< when people describe genderfluid as “a mix between male and female/ a gender that flow between male and female/ a gender that is both male and female”
stop saying that envolves only male and female. there are lots of genders and genderfluid people can go though all these labs and identities.
obviously there are people who only experience male-female, but genderfluid is so more than that. stop presuming i’m only go though male and female (or that i go though these genders! i also can be genderfluid without experiencing boy or girl days).
i am genderfluid, i am not faking it, i am valid AND i go though more than two genders! the world is not binary, >genderfluid< is not an binary identity, so why would you think that the genders i flow are only the two binary genders?

being genderfluid is a constant “i’m really trans or i’m just a cis person who don’t like gender stereotypes?”
this thought sucks and i hate it here

hello! i found your blog a little bit ago and i enjoy it a lot! i think you’re a cool person👉👈 but i kinda wanted some advice? so i’m a cis female and recently i’ve been questioning my gender identity and i have no idea if i’m like...just being dramatic or secretly wanting attention? i don’t dress particularly male or female, but i often fantasize about being a slightly feminine male and looking more androgynous. i’m perfectly fine with the gender i am now though. idk what to do lmao :’) if you ever see this, i hope you have a nice evening!💕
hey! first, thank you, knowing that people like waht i post make me really happy!
now, maybe you are gender non-conforming (gnc). is when a person goes against the imposed gender norms, or does not have an appearance consistent with their gender, in short. and don’t worry, feel like this is totally valid and is not dramatic or wanting attencion, gender issues are complicaded and it’s ok to feel confuse (?) or something like that.
and sorry for the delay to answer! I forget to look at this area on tumblr lol

Help me get top surgery
Hey there, my name is Oliver! I’m a 21-year-old AFAB nonbinary trans person who uses they/them pronouns. I’ve started a GoFundMe to help raise money for the top surgery I hope to get in the future!
I’ve experienced severe dysphoria relating to my chest for several years. My chest dysphoria negatively affects my mental health and, subsequently, my self-esteem. Because of this, I’ve desired to get top surgery to alleviate my dysphoria for the longest time. However, I never thought I’d be able to do this because my insurance won’t cover any of the costs. While my insurance has covered my hormone replacement therapy in the past, they refuse to cover any and all gender dysphoria related surgeries. My insurance provider, which is military-based, has strict policies regarding this, specifically stating that they do not cover these procedures.
Any support is immensely appreciated. Even if you can’t contribute, I’d appreciate if you shared my GoFundMe with others who may be able to help out. Thanks so much for reading!

the life of genderfluids that‘s summed up in asking themselves “BUT WHAT IF I’m actually [insert here a gender]????” for spending too much time in that specific gender is extremely tiring

Please stop using "sex to sex" terms to define trans experience.
Tumblr media
I find the terms FTM and MTF really frustrating. Like they're good terms, specific, self explanatory, they clearly and simply describe a set of experiences... It's good stuff, A+. But when they're used as synonyms for transgender they erase a huge variety of experiences.
For example trans woman doesn't automatically translate to "Male to Female", that idea is explicitly intersexist, I am definitely a trans woman but I was never male.
So using MTF and FTM in isolation as your community descriptor erases the variety of trans experience, such as:
nonbinary people,
genderqueer
gender fluid people,
people with different sexual developments,
people who choose to social transition only,
agender people,
genderflux,
people who cannot safely transition,
people who are insensitive to some sex hormones,
etc etc
But I think that's part of the idea. Medical professionals who's livelihoods are based on gate keeping trans therapies have a financial incentive to use the terms in this way, if there's nobody to exclude then there's no reason for them to be involved.
Again, FTM and MTF are good terms. Use them to describe yourself if they fit, there's nothing wrong with them being a big part of your identity. Just stop using them as synonyms for transgender, transmasc, or transfemme. It's discriminatory even if that's not your intention.

Thank you,
Mhacha loves you all,

I’m talking with two people simultaneously. With one, I’m using he/him pronouns, and with another I’m using they/them.
Both pronouns at the same time, but one with one person and other with another.
Why.
