Since Noelle finds Kris visiting Rudy to be unusual, the nurse being aware of how Kris usually plays the piano would seem to indicate that Kris had regularly visited the hospital purely to play it. Sort of like Noelle's assumption that Kris only ever visited her house to use hers.

The hospital piano is described as being crummy due to its size and I'd assume that the Holidays have a fancy one, so Kris opting to go to the hospital instead probably means that they began to no longer feel comfortable visiting Noelle's home for whatever reason.

If we are to get more Weird Routes in future chapters, then I assume, or rather hope, they won't all end up being creepy murder routes. Don't get me wrong, I like Snowgrave, but I think what makes it so striking will be lost if we just end up getting more of the same.

This isn't even to say that these hypothetical future Weird Routes won't ever be dark, just that I think people are being a little unimaginative when they talk about them as though they'll play out more or less like successors to Snowgrave.
