stay with me by ayọ̀bámi adébáyọ̀ - this is currently my favorite book and probably will be for a long time. the story is fascinating, the characters are solid, well thought out, and developed. their flaws and problematic behavior make them feel real. a lot of things are unexpected but always have a purpose I thoroughly enjoyed this book and need my own copy asap.

seven days in june by tia williams - I understand the hype for this book, and I'm so glad to have read it. it made me want to read more romance. I have my qualms with some formatting decisions but at the end of the day solid solid book/story/characters.

three women by lisa taddeo - a lot of people need to read this book.
