Seek Passage, seek Void, see Radiance, pay mind to the Spinners and keep your wits about you, Dreamer. The path through this realm is long and harrowing, but not impossible. There are those who have come before you, after all, who have solved the riddle of the Penumbra. If you are the sort to find yourself a receiver of second chances, you may even become audience of the Highest, who may grant you more Time, new Life. If you decide you would rather stay, we will take you into our arms. Make you one of us. We grow so lonely here.

Ishka is nothing but an eerie little blip on the map of Michigan, with an unexplained aura to it that unnerves and entices. For reasons unknown, it is a hotspot for doorways that lead into a strange, in-between dream world known as The Penumbra. Inhabited by beings created by the children of the highest deities, it is a bizarre, layered landscape that Dreamers may find themselves trapped in – either fully or partially. There are some who may even seek it, driven mad by curiosity of the unknown.

one of my favorite threats is “youre not invited to my birthday party anymore”.

from ages 4 to 11 its one of the most heinous things you can say, then 12 through 17 its just embarassing cuz teenz think that thats a childish thing to say, but from 18 onward, it only gets more and more effective, if only because it confuses the person youre speaking to.

its like a verbal smoke bomb. it catches them off guard and disorients them to the point that they might not even know how to react.

I had this drawing laying around (it was literally just an unfinished pose sketch) for well over a year before I got inspired to crank out an outfit for Frances, and I think it suits them, even if outfit design is not my strong suit.

I'm super rusty at inking these days but I'm pretty happy with how this turned out
