Flight Rising AU

Flight rising au time for the girls! Left: Haddie Kaur is an imperial who's parents where victim to the tragic unpredictable life span of being an imperial. Their lives unfortunately being cut short passing away close to each other one winter evening clutching a young haddie between them as a very violent ice storm raged outside their cave. Haddie knew as the warmth left them what was happening she went into hysterics roaring and crying begging them to wake up. She could do nothing but roar as her cries where drowned out by the storm she eventually went hoarse and laid in the far corner of the cave knowing she didn't have the strength or know how to navigate such a storm. It's imperative that imperials are separated when they die unless they are burned or disposed of properly. For fear they would become an emperor. Haddie's pleas where answered in the worse way possible as a young Haddie did not quiet understand the importance of separating corpses. She awoke to the lumbering stumbling form of her father in glee she approached him relived it was a nightmare after all. Only be faced with a horrific display as he turned with her mothers body being absorbed into his her neck partially attached already.

Something that no one sees well sees and lives to tell. Her once loving parents stumbled and claws trying to get themselves together to attack their precious daughter. Let's say by the miracles of the gods and haddies unawaken power she managed to stop and defeat them before they became a full fledged emperor. Since then she has been drown to dark rotten places and is a traveling around defeating and curing shade touched places but as she uses her power more and more her once vibrant coat has begun to fade. Haddie has no clue what will happen once its fully turned. Right: Mikaela Reid has a much happier story living with her father at the edge of the sea she uses her powers and knack for divinity to read the futures of other dragons and beast races who pass through the port. Reid is a very talented magic user and can use multiple elemental spells its a very rare thing for a dragon to be able to do that but not wanting to leave her father or the port town she does not seek an education at the observatory and other places of magic. She creates luck charms etc to sell and get money for her father who creates and designs small ships. Though sadly her father illness catches up to him and despite outside medical care he passes peacefully. She continues to stay in the town but odd creatures begin attacking boats and dragons near by and a disease begins driving the coral and wild life away as unknown to the dragons of the port town shade has begun infecting the waters and...this is how they meet Haddie stops the shade with Mikaela's help and they travel together from then solving shade issues and disputes between beast clans and dragons clans. I will say the size diffrence....look at how large haddie is to a small mikaela xD

I juggeled several breeds and colors for them but im pretty happy with the colors and genes for them <3 (I might try and find a better set for haddie at one point........but im 80% good with it)

For Both: Scars and doctor

scars:  how many scars does my muse have? where are they located on my muse’s body? how did they get them? what do they look like?  doctor: how often does my muse visit the doctor? do they tend to go routinely, or only when something is wrong? 

Mikaela: Mikaela has a few scars to be honest little nicks on the finger from using knives in the kitchen/in her witch craft a couple marks on her knees and legs from tumbles she's taken in her childhood but she does have a scar on her left temple that goes into her hair line a bit from she was younger and learning how to surf! Take a tumble in a water and knocked her head. Her father was terrified at first and was so scared she wouldn't go back into the water etc but Mikaela bounced back not a worry ready to go out and learn the next day (obviously her father didn't let her until he was sure she as full health) She also has a scar on the knuckle of her pointer finger on her right hand that's in a slight crescent shape from when she was cutting a treat for her rescue rabbit Cathlulu (yes its spelled wrong on purpose. The curse of dyslexia mikaela spelt it wrong on vets paper and just never bothered to change it... For doctor Mikaela tried her best to be healthy and treat any colds with home grown plants or plants foraged from the woods etc (her and Claudette would get along so well....) But she does go in yearly/biyearly check ups and for when colds turn into the worse. She's nervous of doctors because her fathers health decline was impart of doctors ignoring/brushing off symptoms and misdiagnosis. (To this day she wonders if he could have lived longer/been cured if that didnt happen....) Haddie: Oh gosh you could make a map with her scars so many from her adventures and monster hunting. She has a bit of her ear missing (haven't decided on which side tbgh) from a dog bite (she claims it was a hell hound in stories to Mikaela and others but in all honestly it was a ratty little white dogs one of her aunts had as a kid....) She has three dominate slashes on her upper arm from a monster clash and the marks on her face is from various claws and knives. She has a slash on her lip as well. Her hands have many many from barbed wires, knives, falls, etc she honestly couldnt tell you the origin of most of them. She gets knicked so often so much sometimes she comes home and Mikaela is like omg babe is...is that a new fucking scar and haddie is like uuuuh...idk i guess it is KJHKLJH. Only ONE scar of hers she doesn't talk about often at all. She also has a bite on her ankle from a stranger "mermaid" like creature she came into contact with in an underwater cave. When it comes to doctors and health? You best know haddie is toughing it till death KLJHKLHK she doesn't like going to doctors at all and will wait until it gets unbearable or if Mikaela forces her to. She has learned many first aid skills just to avoid doctors on her adventures (how to clean and stich wound etc etc) If Mikaela knew how many times she's just stitched up claw wounds and didnt even bother going to the doctors.......But Haddie is INCREDABLY resilient and healthy(?) her body can handle a lot and rarely gets infections and sicknesses at all. But when she does.....she's a pathetic wet sniveling cat who bundles into a cocoon of despair and groans of im dieing as mikaela cares for her. (She simply has caught the seasonal cold) But- She is very diligent about keeping up with vaccines etc and being aware of diseases etc to watch out for her international travels. She may groan and fit but she does her work and research. The only issue she has is chronic migraines from her powers and just plain having them in general she actually has gotten migraine piercing's! (Also know as daith piercings) One of the very few things except for Mikaela spell work when its a power inflicted migraine that helps and prevents them.

8. Bad memories/experiences

More curious for Mikaela on this one, since I’m sure Haddie is not eager to look through that part of her brain-

Mikaela worst bad memory is the fact she found her father dead, she probably took a very long time talking about it to even Haddie and no one knows other than Haddie and her closest friend know about that trauma she experienced. She came home one day and her father was simply laying on the ground of the cold kitchen tile. Thankfully he was facing away so she didn’t see his face but, she felt the coldness she didn’t even need to touch his body she could just feel in the air he was gone.

She isolated herself for a very long time after that event often visiting the boating dock her father would teach her lessons on sailing and surfing. It absolutely broke her heart but she had to sell the sailing boat to afford the funeral costs luckily it went to one of her father's friends so it was in good hands at least but, she’s never really set foot in a boat since nor on a surfboard. She almost ended up in the foster system which scared her to her core due to the fact her father went through foster care trauma but, luckily her grandmother on her father's side took her in. She was a kind woman but distant with Mikaela seeing so much of her adoptive son in her. Mikaela never got that family closeness she had with her father again. Her father was supportive of her spiritual exploration into paganism but her grandmother was not as much so she had to almost completely stop during the time she lived with her. She moved out at 18 and only then did she go on a huge spiritual and inner healing journey. She still has a sadness when she sees the ocean so she moved more inland to the big city but, she still craves the seaside at times. Hardly no one knows about this as most of her friends can tell Mikaela has always had a pretty much "trauma-free" life she hates to think about it or talk about it so she never mentions it to anyone (except Haddie eventually and her childhood best friend) the most she reveals to anyone is if she's trying to comfort someone and she might mention her father's death if its relevant but not the fact she found him or too much details of afterward.
