when you fully transform a Grumpus they stop having animations altogether and just float around while t-posing
Bugsnax, but the more bugsnaks you feed them, the worse their walk cycle is.

Hi!!! Congratulations for your almost 200 followers! Here I am with a little prompt: "Mistletoe: while Wesper and Helnik follow the famous tradition, Kanej invent a new one, only for them". Hope you like it!
hiiii, and thanks sm! Oooh wow, that’s an interesting one! Challenging, but interesting. Thank you!! Think I’m gonna stick to headcanons for now, cause I’m worried I won’t do this prompt justice lol, but I do love it!
so we’ve already established that the Crows spend winter holidays at the Van Eck mansion
and I think it’s a given that Jesper and Nina hang mistletoe everywhere
and I do mean everywhere
this is, of course, because Jesper and Nina love “accidentally” catching their respective boyfriends under the mistletoe and kissing them till their faces turn bright, bright red
it honestly didn’t even occur to them that Kaz and Inej might accidentally (actually accidentally) walk under it too
it’s awkward for them the first time it happens
thankfully none of the others are there, but Kaz and Inej both know what couples are supposed to do under the mistletoe
they’re not really sure what to do, if they should just keep walking or if they should try to… do something, if not kiss
they haven’t kissed yet, aren’t ready to kiss yet, they both know that
but…. they did both stop, so it’s clear that they want to do something
because mistletoe isn’t about kissing, exactly, it’s about couples expressing their love, and Kaz and Inej want to do that, somehow
maybe they can’t manage the tradition the way the others do, but maybe they can make their own
so Inej offers her hand, and slowly, Kaz takes it
from then on, they don’t really have a set tradition for the mistletoe, per se, but the general rule is that they do something, anything that expresses how much they care about each other
it varies each time
most times they join hands under the mistletoe and stay like that for as long as they can
other times Kaz will kiss Inej’s knuckles, or she’ll kiss his, which, to her delight, makes Kaz Brekker, the Bastard of the Barrel, blush furiously
eventually they are able to exchange kisses on the forehead, nose, cheek
but on the days that they just aren’t up to that, they’ll do something else
sometimes they say something
Kaz’s exaggerated but loving “darling Inej” and “treasure of my heart” and “love” and “sweet” always make her laugh, which is helpful because it hides the blush on her cheeks
she always has a Suli proverb ready, or a tale about her parents, and though Kaz occasionally teases her about the proverbs, he enjoys hearing her talk about anything important to her
honestly, he just enjoys hearing her voice in general
really they only need to exchange a look, and they both just Know
the others might exchange puzzled glances whenever they witness Kaz and Inej’s own special tradition, but hey, as long as their friends are happy
while mistletoe used to represent things that they couldn’t do, things that has been tainted for them, it now represents how much Kaz and Inej care about each other, and it doesn’t really matter how exactly they show that
and Kaz definitely doesn’t know how that mistletoe above the door to his room at the Slat got there
or the mistletoe at the window, the very window she always comes in, the one where she feeds her crows—he has no idea about that either
no idea at all
but since it’s there....
soooo I’m not sure about any of this, and it turned out to be a wee bit shorter than I expected, but it was a really intriguing concept! I really hope I did it okay, and I hope you like it, Lynn!! Merry belated Christmas, if you celebrate it, and Happy kind-of-almost New Year! 💖

stop saying simp if u ain't black 😚
I'm really sorry about that, I should have done more research about the word's origins before using it. Thank you for letting me know, I'll delete that post and I won't say it in the future.
