I wanna do some more roleplays but I don't really know how on Tumblr!

Like...should I post open roleplay starters and have people reblog with their response and then I'll reblog with my response individually (I may be in an RPG but group rps do tend to stress me out lol)? Or just stick to PMs?

I'm not sure, I'm still new to actually roleplaying on Tumblr so if anyone wants to help me out and give me tips, that'll be greatly appreciated!

Junior was practically shaking with anxiety, wanting nothing more than to already run and get the hell out of there. It was just a sewer, practically harmless except for the foul stench. But it still didn't feel right. Like there was something...dark lurking there. Then again, maybe that was just his anxiety talking and his tendency to overthink everything.

But he still forced himself to be as calm as he could, taking a deep breath and kept his head down as he started walking alongside Lexy.

Junior froze when the doll was suddenly right in front of him and then stumbled back, nearly slipping into the water when the doll moved. It...it did move, right?

He was so stuck in his thoughts until Lexy pulled him away, jumping slightly. "Yeah-yeah, you're right..." Junior agreed, goosebumps all over his skin. He wanted to get out of there, he had to get out because something was so very wrong even though he couldn't figure out why. "Let's just go, Lexy, it stinks in here."

Junior heard the curse word as well and slowly shook his head. “That-that wasn’t me…” he said after finding his voice, swallowing nervously. Maybe they both imagined it?

“Lexy, you actually want to go in there?” He asked when Lexy moved closer to the sewers. “We don’t have a flashlight or anything, it’s too dark in there. I’m sure it was nothing.”

But then he heard something whispering his name. It sounded like a child but it sent a chill down his spine as he turned around to try and find the source of the voice.

Junior froze at the mention of his mother but he didn’t say anything to give any indication that he did know her. Why would this woman know his mom? “What an odd friend to have…” he said under his breath, still finding the situation odd but he figured he didn’t say that Bree was his mother, that it would be fine.

“Why are you going on here? Lexy, this place is so gross!” Junior complained before once again stopping at the sight of the doll. “…that’s the ugliest thing I’ve ever seen in my life.” He said out loud, finding something about the doll off putting and giving him the chills, so he looked away.

Junior watched her with almost fascination in his eyes when Lexy lit the cigar, looking back over to the lake. “Yeah, it could be.” He agreed with a small and shy smile.

He raised an eyebrow when she suddenly stood up and began walking over to the sewers. “Wait, you’re seriously gonna go in there?” He complained in almost disgust, not planning to follow her before he finally gave in. “This is gonna be so gross…”

Junior put his hands up in mock surrender before taking off his headphones. “Nope, just me. Promise that I’m not a murderer or pedophile.” He reassured her with a gentle smile before walking closer to her.

He recognized the girl, Lexy Cross. She was in some of his classes and he’d be lying if he said that he didn’t stare and think about her a lot. How could he not? She was pretty.

Junior fidgeted with his headphones for a moment before shaking his head. “No thanks, my dad would kill me if he smelled that shit on me.” He said with a casual chuckle despite how his words sounded.

Junior shouldn't be here. He knows he shouldn't. He should be at his next cross-country practice, preparing to win first place at regionals. But god, he was exhausted. He just wanted to take a break for the first week of summer. So he skipped.

His father would kill him if he ever found out. Okay, maybe not actually kill him. But he'd speak in that low, threatening tone about how disappointed he was, sending chills up and down his spine.

Junior could worry about that later. He just had to hope that no on would find out that he was headed toward the lake. He was sure that no one, or at least no one he knew, would be there. So for now, he was humming to a song under his breath, headphones in his ears and completely lost in his own world before pausing when he noticed a blonde girl by the lake.
