What frustrates me with being an "out of sight, out of mind" person is that people tend to love suggesting notepads, diaries, apps, lists, anything that you can write reminders in. But my kind of "out of sight, out of mind" extends to that as well. Truly. If it is not in my sight, it is not in my mind. And you know what happens when you close a book or an app? It is not longer in sight.

Very well said! :D Even if we run with him being Aro/Ace, that just changes how you engage with other people For example Im aro/ace! Im sex repulsed but romance positive! I Enjoy romantic activities and the idea of a life partner even though I don't really feel romantic feelings for people. I hope to find a life partner (or several) one day that will be understand that I don't get crushes and butterflies but I still love them deeply and wish to share my life with them So please keep writing Alastor and any other Aro OR Ace person in many, many different ways. I love reading radioapple shipping because I like to imagine I can have a partnership despite my brain not working "typically". People come in many ways and it's okay and awesome to represent that!! :D

Asexuality and aromanticism is a spectrum!!! It’s different for every single person!

I do though like to keep both aspects in mind, which is usually why I tend to write Radioapple with more queer platonic aspects in mind.

But at the end of the day, it’s truly all a spectrum. I can’t fully speak on aromanticism (although I am someone who hates kissing so tbh idek) but I am asexual! And while I am not sex repulsed, some asexual people are, some are indifferent, and some fill in the inbetweens.

Plus, just because you are generally asexual or aromantic, it doesn’t mean you will never feel anything for anyone. It doesn’t mean you can’t have special friendships that go deeper than platonic (which again is how I personally like to frame radioapple most of the time)

Plus, the creator herself said she loves shipping and doesn’t mind what is done with the characters :)) So long as no one is going around denying Alastor’s identity (example- saying “he’s not asexual in the show”) then his identity is not being erased.

Also, his asexuality is mentioned through a few jokes in the show, but his aromanticism is something only mentioned in past interviews. So it’s technically not even canon in the show yet. I know some people hold to whatever Viv says as side lore, but I personally just go by what’s in the show. They didn’t show us his aromanticism, so I think it’s something that can be played with.
