Moving Blogs

Hi fellow whumpers. I've run into some frustrations in running this blog as a side blog rather than as a primary blog, and unfortunately the only way to make this a primary blog is to create a new one altogether.

You can now find me and all of my future content at @hurt-buck.

At this time, the blog has no posts, but I will soon be reposting edits that I've already shared here. As I do this, the edits will be deleted from this blog, but answered asks and other fanfic recs will remain.

Some pros of this will be that I will be able to directly follow you guys back rather than through an empty primary blog. I plan to be more active again once the switch is complete, and I hope to see you on the new blog!

It's pretty evident to me that the Jonah storyline won't really be including Buck too much, and I think it is best fitting that it surrounds Hen in canon. That being said, who's going to write the fan fiction of Buck being targeted? :)

In Dosed Buck and Eddie both mentioned being allergic to pollen, so that got me wondering what *else* he might be allergic to, and to what degree of severity. Thoughts?

Head empty, thoughts only of:

kiwing me softly by Nearly aka @herodiaz, and (Almost) Death By Ravioli by soft_satan

But also, I need more of these fics. Buck encountering something he's allergic to and being surprised by it is amazing. I can't remember the fic titles, but I know there was also one where Buck was affected by some chicken wings and another where it was cupcakes I think? I love these.

had a dream that Athena was looking for Buck for some reason and when she got to his place the door was open. and when she went in she found a letter addressed to her and Bobby saying something about them not being Buck's "real" parents so the search began. at some point my dream shifted from Athena's POV to an outsider watching the kidnapper and Buck. the kidnapper kept taunting Buck and then baby-ing him. right before I woke up they found him, he was half conscious, maybe from dehydration.

This sounded like the plot of being a reader reading all of those OOC 118 fics where some OC comes in and "cares for" babies Buck. 😆

But, in all seriousness, I would read the hell out of this.

5x06 really gave us buck being manhandled first getting pushed by the bad guy then getting hit with a gun and the greatest of all time getting thrown to the ground

Literally one of the best things that 9-1-1 has given us in terms of whump! I want more!

Oh man, picture it: one day the Buckley-Diaz family is out somewhere (the zoo, the park, it doesn't particularly matter where) and suddenly a loud noise triggers Eddie into thinking there's more gunshots. He tackles Buck and Chris to the ground, trying to shield them with his body

Ohhh I read a fic like this where it was at the station and Eddie tackled Buck down. Such good angst right here. Imagine it playing out in the show some day!

Hello! Since you asked for anons, can I share one of my favorite kinds of whump: unseen injuries. I have this idea in my head of Buck coming back to the firehouse with everyone, maybe thinking he overexerted himself or got a bruise, but that's basically nothing right? And he sits on the couch, talks with the team, but slowly gets more quiet and seemingly starts to nod off, and everyone is like, fondly not making a big deal out of it because it's been a big day, until one of them tries to shake him awake so he can go lie down somewhere more comfortable, and they all realise something's wrong. Really Wrong. (Bonus for them discovering a big red bruise under his shirt and realising that all this time he's been bleeding internally right next to them. Double bonus for Buck waking up and them all being in a guilt contest of who should have noticed first until someone (maybe athena) tells them that maybe no one is at fault here so if they could stop being idiots and hug now it'd be Neat)

ABSOLUTELY! THIS! I want this one right here!

The whump and angst of it is so good! Maybe them wondering why Buck didn't say anything and that poor boy's pain tolerance is just so skewed that he says, "I thought I just had a bruise." Cue the facepalming.

Manhandling.

I go absolutely insane over any kind of whump that has Buck getting manhandled, whether he's being hurt by a bad guy or even thrown to the ground to protect him. Just toss that man around for me!

Do you accept noncon-type of prompts? Because if so.... imagine something happened during the time Buck was traveling, but he pushed it down and never told anyone. But when Maddie shows up she overheard him having a nightmare and once he's awake, she urges him to talk to her and he breaks down, admitting someone hurt him and crying in her arms.

That one hurts, nonnie! IDK if anyone will want to pick it up, but here it is! I personally have so many thoughts about Buck on the road for so long and alone in his travels.

It probably won't be done for awhile but I'm doing a chaptered hurt!Buck fic! The premise is very triggery and involves human trafficking of varying flavors. If you're interested I'll message you about it or I can ask!

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by "of varying flavors" but I am intrigued. I'd probably need some trigger warnings myself based on what you want to share, but feel free to message me about it! As long as the subjects are handled respectfully and with the seriousness they should, I'll probably be giving it a read when it does go up!
