A quiz to answer in regards to your workouts/yoga: 1. Do you look forward to your workout or do you procrastinate and dread it? 2. Do you enjoy the process of practicing? 3. Do you feel energized or drained after? 4. Do you get extremely sore or recurrent injuries? 5. Does your mood improve after a workout? 6. Do you get inspiration and ideas during your workouts? 7. Does your digestion, appetite and weight stabilize in relation to your workout/yoga routine? 8. Hormonal health and sleep should also benefit from a smart workout plan. How are yours in relation to your fitness routine? 9.Do you have a strong immunity and rarely get colds and flu? All these provide clues as to whether you are working out smart or you are going to hard, ignoring your body's signals and having to take forced breaks. Working out and yoga are extremely important to our health, both emotional and physical but we have to know how to listen to our bodies and find the nourishing ebb and flow to our workouts. Taking it easy with a mindful session one day and hitting it hard when we are overflowing with energy. Being gentle if underslept and finding the right intensity on our strong days. Certain routines like an hour long HIIT or a strong crossfit too often can really mess up the hormonal balance, lead to injuries, muscle or strength loss, weight gain and basically have the opposite effect of what we are looking for. It has taken me years to simplify my yoga style and create powerfu interval yoga routines in 30 minutes or less; effective HIIT classes in just 12 minutes or so and gentle groovy flows at 50 + minutes that can stretch and pamper the body while still building strength, grace, cardiovascular endurance, tone and agility. So my point is pick different classes on different days. Listen to your body and thrive. Building health takes listening to the body, self love and the balance of pushing yourself vs being easy on yourself. Do you think you benefit from your yoga or do you need to tweak your routine a bit? #workingoutshouldbefun #yogaislove #wisdom (at Bee Cave, Texas)

It is so important to find time each day to slow down and take care of your inner world. Sometimes this means yoga and other times it simply means sitting in the sun with an ice matcha and your legs up. Sometimes it means finding a quiet spot so you can contemplate nature in all its profound beauty. For me yoga is a way to calm my spirit and nourish my heart. And observing nature 🌱🌲🍃🍀🌵🌴🌳always reminds me what life is all about. It awakens my wisdom and it helps me surrender, it allows me to let go of what i no longer need and cherish what is precious. Do you also find peace and Unity in nature and during yoga? #busytimes #slowingdown #yoga ❤💚❤ (at Tucson, Arizona)

Remember to Interval Yoga with my classes. I have hundreds of free classes on YT and hundreds of membership classes on my website. Either ones can keep you in shape in just 10 to 40 mins a day. Exercise should not feel like torture. It should feel like fun, it should nourish your soul and help you connect with the deep parts within. It should help you empty the mind and connect with your intuition. It should feel pleasant and slightly challenging but not like a bootcamp. Too much gruelling exercises can have the opposite effect. If you want to build strength and muscle and build your immunity do a little but daily. Are you on board? #intervalyoga #yogaforthesoul #hiityoga (at Coachella valley)

Packing with a baby is tiring but it's also fun. I pack she unpacks. I pack and she throws random stuff in the box. I seal the box and she climbs on top of it. She makes me laugh so much. I am also so incredibly tired. I always heard moms talk about tiredness but i never really got what they mean until I had Loti. We did fix her sleep and that's amazing. I wish i did that 6 months ago. Better late than ever. ❤💚😥 #mommyslife

Many people say herbs dont work. I will tell you my experience with herbs. They have done nothing short of a miracle for me. There are many reasons why they dont work for many people. First they are not very well studied in the allopathic world so most of the information there is partial or simply wrong. Second most herbs (not all) work not just on the physical body but also on the subtle bodies so the more cut off we are from our soul the less potent they will be when we take them. Very grounding herbs make an exception here - they work pretty much all of the time. They vibrate on a very physical frequency and they can go straight to the area that needs them the most. Consciousness is not just a human quality. Plants possess etheric consciousness and a collective consciousness (humans have a strong individual consciousness), therefore in order for them to work on us there needs to be resonance. Third herbs need a different level of awareness when picking, preparing, bottling and selling therefore if greed gets in the way, angry people who were paid to pick them or other random events in their path to us that will affect their potency and the nuance of efficacy. Talking to them and respecting nature while picking them is also of utter importance. We all know that houseplants love classical music! There are auspicious days for picking herbs and also auspicious days for preparing them, beautiful thoughts should be held during handling them and often times a water fast and complete silence was recommended on the day of the main harvest of the year with the strongest Sunlight. The more etheric herbs can heal on soul level - the origin of wounds. An herb that works on the physical level for example is black walnut. It is a great antifungal and it works wonders on many fungal infections, parasites, pathogens and certain bacteria. Great for jock itch, heartburn and a good hair dye amongst other uses :). When I started to look at the world with new eyes, not just from a materialism and Decartism perspective, my whole soul blossomed. So much learning ahead of us! #herbal (at Los Angeles, California)

I spent a few hours bottling my herbs which i started on a New Moon in Gemini in 2011. I had to spontaneously bottle them today if i want them to come with me to our new home and coincidentally today is 99.9% Full Moon in Capricorn 🌚conjunct Saturn (this means as close as you can get to a Full Moon 🌚. I follow a moon timer usually. As for the Saturn bit it means this is going to be serious and lasting medicine). My plan was always to finish the project on a Full Moon but i had no idea I will spontaneously and unplanned do it on a super Full Moon in my own natal Moon sign (my moon is in capricorn of course 🐐🐐🐐😂🤗). Procrastination paid off. A little known fact: did you know that an alcohol tincture has no expiration date? It is practically eternal. I evaporate some of the alcohol so it's less alcoholic. Alcohol also extracts far more constituents than glycerin or vinegar so it is far superior. I also do not mess around with potency. I jam pack it full of herbs! So it's thick like molasses. Unfortunately the store bought ones are 70% of the time not what they are advertised to be. There is no regulations. This is just a small portion of my collection 😄😃💚. These herbs pull and draw and strengthen and build, rebalance and detox! Thank you Mother Nature for this bountiful harvest. Herbal tinctures and medicines should be started on a new moon and finished on a full moon and they carry the energy of these planetary alignments. This is a conscious Universe we live in. 🍀☘🌿🌾🌾🌿🌾🌿☘🍀🌾🌾🌿🌿🌾🌾 #herb #fullmoon #herbology #herbs #astrology #healing #detox

The beauty of making melon seed milk is that it is the most delicious milk and you practically create it from the seeds of the melon you ate which you would have thrown otherwise. It saves you having to buy plant milks or ingredients for them. It is also gentle on the environment and it is so healthy. You make it by blending the seeds and inner parts of any melon with a cup of water. A high speed blender is preferable. Strain and use as plant milk . It is thick, frothy and creamy. It makes great lattes. The detailed description is linked in my bio. Melon seeds support the kidneys and the urinary tract. Great for removing toxins from the UT. A skin healer. #plantmilk #melonmilk #melonseedmilk #consciouseating (at Los Angeles, California)

I am so excited about Uranus shifting into Taurus. I have been waiting for years 😄🤗. It means that the big revolutionary, electric and unexpected changes in society and in our lives will shift their area of expression. For me personally it goes into my first house and i get to break free from restrictions, i get to experience personal liberation and rebellion against constraints and limitations. I meant to ask you guys if you are using a natural deodorant and in stead i went on a tangent about exciting astrology events that will profoundly affect us all. Anyways, if you are not on a natural deodorant kick you gotta make the shift now. Taurus is the most earthy and natural signs so a good time in history for humanity to make the shift abruptly to a more conscious way of living. This deo works! Small San Francisco owned company, cruelty free, contains super natural ingredients and probiotic so that you get your armpit flora on check 😄😂. @native_cos . I have been using them since my baby was born so for 15 months now and so happy with the company and their products. I recommend the new coconut lime scent but all the other scents are phenomenal. Use my coupon for 15% off AliKamenova and let me know how you like them. It is so important to remove toxic product use esp when it comes to a sensitive area of our body such as the area near the breasts. We need to sweat and we have to keep the lymph in the armpit area healthy. 💚💙💚 🌐🌏🌎🌍🌐🗺 #nativedeodorant #naturaldeodorant #crueltyfreebeauty #crueltyfree #smallbusiness #consciousconsumerism #breasthealth #naturalmama (at Los Angeles, California)

I am certainly not half as strong as i used to be pre baby but still not terribly bad for barely doing any training or strong yoga on top of having far too many sleepless nights. I have kept some of my strength thanks to mainly diet and sheer intention 😂. And frankly strength or even feeling phenomenal has been not on top of my priority list. I have accepted and allowed myself to feel a bit run down. We started sleeping a lot better lately because i adjusted baby's waking and nap time but still here and there there are teething nights and not much i can do about it besides being there for baby. I'm taking it easy. Baby and i do park walks, i do 12 minute sessions daily and i try to lay down if i can even just for a little. Not sure why i just typed all of this; it is not about motivating you to stay strong, to practice more or to be better. I am simply saying it is perfectly OK to embrace life as it is with no resistance. Everything flows... (at Los Angeles, California)

New moves for this week. This combo targets building and lengthening the obliques - the sides of the body. The new HIIT classes on my website will feature it. As i am packing the house and living in an absolute chaos for the moment i find harmony in my 12 minutes a day of exercise. If you have done my old classes you would be familiar with this combo 🤗. Building strength is so important in order to feel good. My approach to yoga and fitness is minimalist - minimal to zero equipment needed. Just come as you are ready to let go of ideas about yourself that no longer serve you and willing to manifest a stronger, more accepting and more in tune version of yourself. All because we tune into the inner voice. We silence the external chatter and we flow. "Love one another" #obliqueworkout #exercise #postpartumyoga (at Los Angeles, California)

What is the most calming, inspiring thought or action for you? The thing that makes you feel at home in your body and on Earth? The thing that brings you peace and connection to that deep calm place deep within? For me obviously yoga but also time alone, quiet moments with a book or in nature, sitting by a tree, the sun on my skin, that feeling of the universe exploding with life and beauty in each and every moment. The connection to this feeling is always available to us. At any moment. As long as we are willing to pause and reconnect; to tap in to what i call THE DIVINE. That place is always there, always available to us. Sending my love (at Los Angeles, California)
