“Someone can be madly in love with you and still not be ready. They can love you in a way you have never been loved and still not join you on the bridge. And whatever their reasons you must leave. Because you never ever have to inspire anyone to meet you on the bridge. You never ever have to convince someone to do the work to be ready. There is more extraordinary love, more love that you have never seen, out here in this wide and wild universe. And there is the love that will be ready.”

SnK gag drama CD: Survey Corps Muffler Incident
[translation: yusenki]
The 104th cadets are suspecting Erwin and Levi as the muffler and underwear thief.
Characters: Eren, Mikasa, Armin, Jean, Sasha, Connie, Erwin & Levi
from 14:14 - 17:13
Erwin: I swear upon the victory of mankind, I would never do…..
Levi: The one who has the muffler is him *refer to Erwin*
Erwin: LEVI!!!
Levi: Let’s cut this out! This is getting troublesome, Erwin! You guys listen, he *refer to Erwin* drank too much to the point he couldn’t remember anything. And then, when he woke up in the morning, somehow the muffler was wrapped around his neck, that’s all to it
Mikasa: Commander…
Erwin: I’m sorry, to drag this to such a mess, I was about to tell everyone but I hesitated, it seems to be a wrong decision, I should have told you all from beginning. But rest assured, your precious muffler is safe within the vault
Eren: Such things, don’t tell me, commander is a pervert
Connie: Unbelievable
Sasha: There is a saying don’t judge person from appearance only
Erwin: That’s a misunderstanding! I swear, I didn’t steal the muffler, moreover, regarding Armin’s underwear, I am really innocent!
[all sighs]
Connie: But…
Erwin: What? Is the anything else? I am not hiding anything anymore!
Connie: Wha…no..it’s not that… it’s not only about how drunk commander was, but for someone who is capable to steal her muffler without Mikasa’s notice. Additionally, to wrap it around commander’s neck, that person must be not a normal pervert, that’s my opinion
Eren: You’ve got point here
Jean: Moreover, before that, that person must be highly skilled in order to be able to snatched Mikasa’s muffler, among SC members the person who fits the criteria is…
*realisation BGM*
Levi: Why all of you are looking at me?!
Erwin: Levi… You…
Levi: Even you are suspecting me now? You gotta be kidding! Moreover, how did it come to this? What would I gain from doing such things (stealing the muffler)?
Eren: Captain… just for our confirmation, what is your alibi last night?
Levi: I told you already, cleaning!
Eren: Where did you clean?
Levi: The public bathroom
Eren: Public bathroom… that means
Sasha: It’s the place where Armin’s underwear got stolen
Levi: You bastard…
Eren: Captain, from what time to what time was your cleaning duty time?
Levi: Tch, last night until this morning
Eren: Was there any witness?
Levi: Huh? Who was going to be there? If there was people there, I would have not been able to clean the bathroom.
Eren: That is not count as alibi, captain! It’s fine, just tell us the truth
Levi: Eren! Aren’t you having too much fun with this? Oi, Erwin! Tell these idiots, I have no interest in women’s muffler or man’s underwear! Oi, Erw… you…
Erwin: Huh?
Levi: What are you smiling at?
Erwin: *suppressing chuckle* ah… it’s nothing
Levi: What a disgusting fellow

Note
can you do a healthy/unhealthy post for Ne and Si in all positions?
Tumblr media
Healthy Ne-dom: Seeks continuous inspiration, able to notice and pick out the best ideas, have many thoughts and pursue ideas to their intellectual conclusion. Optimistic view of people and seeking the best in them, wanting them to achieve their idealized potential, has a sense of hope and intellectual openness. Good at visualizing and enacting positive trends for potential change, often admirable in their creativity and optimism. Idealism.
Unhealthy Ne-dom: Disconnected from reality, unable to learn from their mistakes, flippant in their relationships (prone to dumping people when they get bored or not easily connecting to them on a deeper level), abandoning tasks half-finished, continual longing for ‘better’ things which causes them not to enjoy the moment or value those around them. Wastes time with a lack of focus and chases immediate mental stimulation, often disorganized, careless, and impatient.
Healthy Ne-aux: Gathers interesting ideas, considers many possibilities, which counter-acts their harsh logical/ethical judgments and expands their worldview. Intellectual interests allow them to widen their understanding of reality and how it works, focus on envisioning a better self and seeking ways to make it happen. Willing and able to explore different possibilities and ideas, good at imagining the best of people and of oneself.
Unhealthy Ne-aux: Scattered and impulsive thinking which lacks precision, does not know which ideas carry more intuitive potential, impractical in their decisions or detached from reality. Can be passive, apathetic, and unmotivated to do more than just imagine / idealize their thoughts, chases newness out of boredom but abandons projects before completion, leading to habitual lack of follow-through, overly idealistic or ignorant of sensing danger, cannot focus, skim-reads, refuses to learn in depth.
Healthy Ne-tert: Open to new ideas and possibilities, and ways of doing things that are outside what they are accustomed to / the norm. Flexible and open-minded, sees multiple positive ways to tackle problems and use their creativity to foster improvement in the workplace/their creativity/personal life, focuses on the future and how to shape it with optimism, takes an interest in personal growth and self-improvement / development.
Unhealthy Ne-tert: Thinks oneself more intellectual than one actually is, does not know how to choose between good and bad ideas, may fantasize about other people and/or trust their ‘insights’ (which may or may not be right); low levels of idealism (either being too idealistic and trusting, or too negative about the future and other people’s motives); may leap on new ideas without caution and make mistakes in judgment, prone to chaotic but shallow thinking, and unable to focus / prioritize or accomplish what they set out to do, due to boredom.
Healthy Inferior Ne: Interest in self-improvement and seeking out new ideas, exposes self to interesting new concepts and knowledge, open to change and willing to look upon the future with optimism. Can approach and tackle difficult projects with multiple ideas, open to brainstorming and feedback from others.
Unhealthy Inferior Ne: Zero interest in self-improvement or new ideas, finds all abstract concepts impractical and/or blindly believes any intuitive concept or philosophy that comes along (due to low discernment), tends to be idealistic and/or impulsive under stress, or experience deep unease / fear of the future, overall perspective on the future is one of negativity and uncertainty – to cope with this, they never think about or want to discuss in depth the future.
Tumblr media
Healthy Si-dom: Excellent at retaining and storing details, and storing information on past experiences, encounters, and beliefs. Capable of establishing and maintaining a sense of inner security and stability, quick to notice sensory inconsistencies and contrasts when doing mental comparisons. Careful attentiveness to detail allows them to build up an incredible knowledge base, which they access when encountering new situations. Familiarity and comfort with details and use of routines to accomplish much in a day. Patient, reliable, and sensory-imaginative. (Often fills their stories with rich details, btw.)
Unhealthy Si-dom:Rigid and legalistic in their worldviews, prone to dismissing anything that does not match their experiences and outright rejecting new concepts, ideas, or experiences that threaten their sense of internal balance. Intense loathing for others who cannot match their level of competent detail-driven sensory awareness; persnickety about personal tastes. Prone to living in their own private world / detached from the outer world, may indulge fantasies or outright denial of reality if it does not match their desired worldview.
Healthy Si-aux: Uses factual or concrete details to avoid over-generalizing, good at sensory comparisons and noting inconsistencies. Collects details and information in order to build a thorough knowledge of a topic, excellent ability to prioritize and complete tasks with a richness of sensory depth and warmth to them. Good memory and ability to store information and recite it accurately.
Unhealthy Si-aux:Narrow-minded or rigid, relies on personal experience only in rejecting others’ experiences and/or ideas (poor Si and poor Ne development); careless with details or learning things completely. Makes poor comparisons due to a lack of nuance or awareness, poor prioritization of tasks, too much focus on being ‘in’ the world and not enough on self-care. Refuses to shift from their routine, cannot adapt to new and changing situations, nitpicks things.
Healthy Si-tert:Able to counter their idealism or impractical ideas with practicality, and to learn to focus and attend to their physical needs. Aware of their bodily needs and limitations, comfortable with routine in getting things done, attentiveness to necessary details, able to learn things carefully and in depth so as to be accurate in their intuitive grasp of knowledge.
Unhealthy Si-tert: Gets stuck in the past or in unproductive thoughts, routines and behaviors. Stubborn about their personal experiences, prone to feeling ‘stuck’ and helpless, unproductive, or unmotivated; poor with details and dismissive of finishing things, careless in learning things (skim-reads). Defines self by their former experiences and has a negative impression of the future. Cannot shift their ideas and only notices details that confirms their negative ideas.
Healthy Inferior Si: Able to focus on and learn in detail. Takes care of one’s physical, mental, and spiritual health by eating, exercising, and getting enough sleep. Can focus on and incorporate accurate details into creative projects, and commit to follow through. Has a sense of longing for stability, safety, and the mental focus to finish difficult tasks (often by using Ne to find ways to put a unique or interesting spin on the material). Recognizes one’s weak sensing, and does not assert details unless certain of their truth / validity.
Unhealthy Inferior Si: Messy, sloppy work, cares nothing for details, finds a lot of jobs ‘boring’ and/or abandons them due to little interest in ‘hard work.’ Neglects physical health (not eating, sleeping, or refilling their mental tank with time for reflection and self-pampering). Over-generalizes and uses bullshit to cover up their total lack of being able to remember specific details. Poor sense of self, prone to mis-remembering events / people / details and being stubborn or resistant to change their minds about it. Can be weirdly nostalgic and hate change in certain areas, prone to anal behavior under stress.
- ENFP Mod
PS: I HIGHLY recommend Ne-doms keep diaries about the people in their life, in order to re-establish their initial perceptions / the facts about encounters, because inferior Si is so bad at retaining them, and Ne so prone to inserting idealism and/or putting a non-realistic slant on them, it’s easy to dismiss bad behavior when you put some distance between you and the incident, or to over-exaggerate / misinterpret it through the lens of a disenchanted Ne. A lot of Ne-doms can get stuck in terrible relationships due to their idealism – or having totally unrealistic, Ne-driven delusions about their friends.

“1w2s are more empathetic and more compassionate than their 1w9 counterparts, and work very hard to improve the lot of mankind and make the changes they talk about happen. They are interpersonal, compared to the Idealist, although the definitive one reservations will be there, and are more passionate. They get excited about projects and love to fight the battles to implement their ideals. They tend to try to bring anyone and everyone onboard with their goals.” (x)

Enneagram 5: The Investigator
Tumblr media
Healthy Fives demonstrate true neutrality, possess deep knowledge in several areas of their life, and are eager to share their findings with others. They see themselves as part of things rather than separate from everything, and balance their participation with their observation.
Five Traits
Fives take care of themselves, and believe others should do the same
Fives believe knowledge is essential for survival
Fives can be sarcastic and cynical, but don’t always share it
Fives often feel awkward around other people
Fives are suspicious when others ask personal information
Fives do not like others prying into their feelings
Fives need time to process their emotions
Fives would rather observe than participate
Fives hold onto what they have and find others wasteful
Fives guard their time and energy
Fives prefer small gatherings to larger ones (introverted)
Fives fear they do not have sufficient inner resources to function
Fives often felt invisible as a child, and choose to be invisible as an adult
Fives hate being uninformed
Fives find no happiness in material possessions
Fives do not often easily share of themselves with others
Tumblr media
Enneagram Wings
5w4: are more creative, sensitive, empathetic, and self-absorbed, eccentric, uncertain of their feelings, and melancholic. 4 makes them more tender with themselves and less emotionally guarded with others.
5w6: are more fearful, anxious, skeptical, and distrusting, but also more social and loyal. They live more in their minds and question authority and the status quo, while also seeking to form alliances with others. Often socially awkward but enjoy forming friendships.
Under stress: Fives act like unhealthy Sevens, where they horde and cling more closely to things, which makes their world feel like it is shrinking. When this happens, they focus on their need for comfort, safety, and independence and ignore others. They become frivolous, disorganized, and distracted, unable to complete tasks, and do not think through the consequences of their behavior. They can be rude, dismissive, and condescending.
When feeling secure: Fives move to the positive side of Eight, and become more spontaneous, outspoken, and physically present, able to want to experience life in all its abundance and courageous enough to do it.
Advice for the 5: do not disconnect from your feelings. Practice building emotional connections to others, and sharing of yourself with your loved ones. Try to experience feelings in the moment, not postpone them for “later.” You can afford to give away your knowledge, your experiences, and your wisdom to others; doing so, will not make you weaker, but form stronger relationships. Believe there’s enough to go around. It’s okay to need someone, or have them need you. Letting someone else serve you can be blessing to them and to you. Start trusting others with your shared experiences. Allow yourself an occasional new luxury. Find an activity that will connect you to your body. Even if you are unsure, step into a conversation rather than falling silent.
Tumblr media
Influences on MBTI Types:
ISTJ: stockpiles enormous amounts of information on various subjects, to feel secure in an uncertain world with unpredictable futures (inferior Ne); secretive and often disconnected from their feelings, more than is usual in an ISTJ; resentful when others prove incompetent or ‘needy’; often detached in their romantic relationships, and ‘secretive’ about the past.
ESTJ: confident in utilizing resources and in the workplace, but less social than other ESTJs and more cautious in approaching new projects that involve much risk; deeply analytical and tactical in their approach, with a mentality of “saving” rather than spending; may push aside intense feelings and inferior Fi refuse to deal with them, leading to relationship problems; may put too much pressure on their children to be self-reliant and frustrated if they are not.
ISFJ: stockpiles enormous amounts of information on various subjects, to feel secure in an uncertain world with unpredictable futures (inferior Ne); strong Ti development / reliance, so a much more detached Fe user, who does not like to talk about their feelings and may never truly deal with them; careful what information they share with who, and not actively social.
ESFJ: a more ‘detached’ Fe-dom, sometimes reliant on inferior Ti, more secretive and distrustful than other ESFJs; careful what information they share with who, and drained in social situations; often takes an interest in a wide variety of topics, for their own sake and to prepare for possible future problems (tert-Ne). May desperately want deep emotional connections but not know how to forge them.
INTJ: always looking into the future for potential issues and trying to correct them in the present through stockpiling factual knowledge and useful skills; somewhat fearful of too much engagement with the outside world due to inferior Se issues; sometimes deals with numb emotions and/or delayed emotional reactions; selective in their relationships, and not forthcoming in their personal experiences.
ENTJ: confident in utilizing resources and in the workplace, but less social than other ENTJs and without the ‘expensive’ streak often present in tert-Se users (forgoes symbols of power or influence, possibly fearful it may draw undo negative attention); deeply analytical and tactical in their approach; may push aside intense feelings and inferior Fi refuse to deal with them, leading to relationship problems; may put too much pressure on their children to be self-reliant and frustrated if they are not.
INFJ: always looking into the future for potential issues and trying to correct them in the present through stockpiling factual knowledge and useful skills; somewhat fearful of too much engagement with the outside world due to inferior Se issues; strong Ti development / reliance, so a much more detached Fe user, who does not like to talk about their feelings and may never truly deal with them; distrustful of what others may do “in the future” with shared information, and not actively social.
ENFJ: a more ‘detached’ Fe-dom, sometimes reliant on inferior Ti, more secretive and distrustful than other ENFJs, often paranoid due to high Ni issues combined with low Ti tendencies to find evidence to support rather than disassemble high Ni ‘inventions of reality’; forgoes symbols of power or influence, possibly fearful it may draw undo negative attention, and may scorn others who place emphasis on luxuries or appearances.
Tumblr media
ESTP: stronger access to aux-Ti analytical abilities, without the usual emphasis on ‘living high and loose’; more introverted / easily drained, less inclined to take charge; may loop into Fe, and not know how to handle it, but fail to entirely subdue their emotions and wind up frustrated; more fearful of the ‘potential’ outcome of their decisions (inferior Ni).
ISTP: strong desire for independence and isolation, pushes away from others and may forgo human relationships on a deeper level, out of 5 and inferior Fe discomfort with intense emotions in oneself and others; has less emotional outbursts than other Enneagram ISTPs, and more trouble understanding what motivates their feelings; much less ‘hands on’ in trying new things.
ESFP: hyper aware of the environment and eager to learn useful skills, but deeply secretive about their intense internal emotions, and will take longer to process them away from others; may deliberately delay dealing with them by looping into Te, which they build up so as to feel competent and safe in the external world; more fearful of the ‘potential’ outcome of their decisions (inferior Ni).
ISFP: super secretive loners who are more analytical, less emotional, more detached, and more interested in impersonal knowledge, which will help them feel safe in the external world; determined to be self reliant, awkward with emotions, and sometimes ‘blocked’ from the true intensity of their feelings. Strong desire to ‘predict’ what is coming and prepare for it (Se/Ni development).
ENTP: a more focused, less distracted ENTP, who knows a hundred facts about a thousand different things, but finds it hard to retain details, which makes them less secure in dealing with the external sensory world; more introverted / easily drained, less inclined to take charge; may loop into Fe, and not know how to handle it, but fail to entirely subdue their emotions and wind up frustrated. May mistype as an INTP.
INTP: strong desire for independence and isolation, pushes away from others and may forgo human relationships on a deeper level, out of 5 and inferior Fe discomfort with intense emotions in oneself and others; often takes an avid interest in and tries to perfect useful knowledge in many different areas, seeks security in routine and prone to severe hording / holding onto things long past their ‘expiration’ date.
ENFP: insecure about the impractical nature of their Ne-dom status, and will work hard to compensate for it through practical knowledge; fearful the future may find them ‘unprepared’; suspicious of others, deeply secretive about their intense internal emotions, and will take longer to process them away from others; may deliberately delay dealing with them by looping into Te, which they build up so as to feel competent and safe in the external world.
INFP: super secretive loners who are more analytical, less emotional, more detached, and more interested in impersonal knowledge, which will help them feel safe in the external world; determined to be self reliant, awkward with emotions, and sometimes ‘blocked’ from the true intensity of their feelings; feels ‘detached from the world’ and takes an interest in many different things, to compensate for it (Ne/Si).

#100 (more) Angst/Argument Prompts
This has been highly requested recently and I had a bit of time whilst I was on holiday, so here we are! 100 more angst/argument prompts~ I’m sorry if it’s a little repetitive of the last one, I hope I didn’t recycle them- anyways, enjoy!
“Don’t touch me, you lost that privilege when you let him into our bed.”
“You just keep acting like everything’s fine! It’s not fine!”
“I hate you, I hate everything you stand for, every fibre of your being.”
“I don’t have the energy to yell at you, you’re not worth it anyway.”
“Show up here again and you won’t live to see the end of it.”
“You killed her! She was the only person I ever loved and you killed her!”
“There’s not a single reason I can think of for me to let you see her. You may be her father, but I’m her everything.”
“You broke me! You ruined everything we had and- for what?”
“I know you hate me, but you should hear yourself. You sound just like him, you sound just like your father.”
“Nothing you do will fix things, no amount of money will turn back time.”
“I wish you’d just leave me alone, I wish I’d never met you.”
“You really were the worst thing to ever happen to me. I mean that.”
“I wouldn’t hate myself as much as I do now if it weren’t for you.”
“Thank you for ruining my life, I know exactly the kind of person I don’t want to become now.”
“Don’t look at me like you’re sorry. You’re not sorry.”
“You’ll never love me like you loved her. I know that now.”
“Not now, not ever. You’ll never be the person I love.”
“I can’t believe I was ever stupid enough to think I knew you.”
“Yell at me, scream until your throat hurts, put a damn bullet in my chest, but you will not touch him.”
“I would rather die than be the person who climbs into bed with you at the end of the night.”
“You lied! You lied again and I fell for it!”
“Everytime you open your mouth I want to push you over the edge of a cliff and I mean that with all my heart.”
“Don’t pretend there’s more than years of pure hatred here.”
“We were never in love, we were simply caught up in a nightmare that felt like a dream.”
“You’ll never forgive me, I know that, but please just pretend you love me. Just until the kids are old enough.”
“Shoot me, I dare you, it’ll make you feel better.”
“And if I die, I swear, I’ll crawl out of my grave just to ruin your life.”
“I promised you a lifetime of misery, do you really think I’m done just yet?”
“You’ll end up dead if you keep that up and it won’t even be at my hands.”
“Hit me, hit me and see what happens to you.”
“Let’s just say that if I saw you bleeding out on my kitchen floor, I’d act like I hadn’t seen you.”
“It wasn’t an accident! It wasn’t and you know it!”
“It was assault, it was you.”
“There’s no one I can hire, no one I can call that will give you a torturous enough death.”
“You could’ve left! You could’ve run away with me!”
“Anything- anything- but this!”
“There’s nothing I can say to get you to fix what you did, there’s nothing I can do to understand why you did it.”
“You should’ve just killed me, I could’ve just been a nameless body in an abandoned cemetery. You could’ve just set me free.”
“He’s the only person left! He’s the only thing I’ve got, the last good thing in my life!”
“You can’t take her, please! I’ll do anything, I swear!”
“She was nothing to you, was she? Then prove it.”
“Don’t even look at me, everything about you is everything I tried so hard not to be.”
“You’re not someone I’ve ever understood, but I never thought I’d hate you as much as I do at this moment.”
“Wow, you’ve really outdone yourself, I want nothing more than to ruin your life.”
“Jump, I dare you, but will that really make you happy?”
“You sound just like the person I used to love, but you’re not him anymore, are you.”
“I asked for your help, I begged you for it, now do you understand?”
“Don’t romanticise death if you won’t follow through.”
“Hate is a pitiful emotion, but then again, you are a pitiful person.”
“What is stronger than love? Nothing? Then you will simply not win.”
“You could’ve defeated me, broken me, left me as a pile of flesh. What stopped you?”
“I never have been someone to take the moral high ground, blood and broken bones is much simpler, don’t you think?”
“She wasn’t your person to ruin.”
“I had it under control! I had a plan!”
“She’ll bleed out before nightfall and you think we should stay? Are you stupid?”
“Let’s hope he doesn’t remember your face when he wakes up, your eyes always were horribly distinctive.”
“You shouldn’t have come, I don’t want you here.”
“He doesn’t own me! He can’t keep controlling me anymore!”
“I refuse to keep being a pawn in your game, this has to end.”
“If I loved you, would I really have kept you around? Love is a weakness, I don’t have weaknesses.”
“I must admit, it would’ve been easier to get rid of you if you weren’t so beautiful.”
“Nothing will change if you stay here with me! Nothing will ever change!”
“It should’ve been an easy decision to make, but you’ve never made things easy, have you.”
“The worst part was that I saw it coming, I knew you’d hurt me, hurt us, but I still kept you around.”
“I can keep this up for longer than you can stick around for. Cut my hair, change my name, you’ll never find me.”
“What did you want in the beginning? What did you think would happen?”
“You’re not him! You’re not him and that’s the problem!”
“Hire a necromancer so I can tell her how much I hate her guts for leaving me like this.”
“There’s nothing you can do, this is it. This is how it goes.”
“You never let me go, that’s why you’re miserable.”
“I’m not the person at fault, I never was. It’s you, it was always you!”
“Just pretend we’re okay, just for tonight, just for show. I’ll be gone by sunrise.”
“So none of it was real? You didn’t mean any of it?”
“You’re the last person I want to talk to right now. We can’t just put things aside because I’m having a bad night.”
“People talk- people will always talk- and you never listened.”
“The last thing I want is for you to think I’m grateful for what you did back there.”
“I couldn’t think of a worse outcome, unless of course, you had some other way to ruin my day?”
“Seven billion people in the world and I got put in a room with you. Either I’m cursed or God likes playing house with us.”
“Have you ever thought that maybe you’re the problem? All these people keep leaving and you keep acting surprised.”
“You betrayed her! You betrayed her trust and look where it got us!”
“I should’ve stayed in San Francisco, I shouldn’t have ever met you.”
“Even after everything, you still won’t admit this was your doing. This was your fault. It always has been.”
“I can’t risk her getting hurt anymore, I can’t put her in danger just to keep you safe!”
“You’ve never been someone I looked up to, I just wished you’d at least acknowledge me.”
“This was never how I wanted things to go.”
“Living is so much harder than dying, are you sure you’re fit for living?”
“I wanted her heart, everything good and pure, but nothing in this world is ever what it seems.”
“You should’ve seen the look on his face- he’s going to destroy you.”
“She’s my daughter, can you really blame me for hating her when she’s just like me?”
“You never should’ve left, it never should’ve been an option.”
“Somehow, whatever you do seems to be the wrong thing. I’m sick of it.”
“Do you actually hate me or is it just the idea of having someone to despise that you enjoy?”
“Nothing you guessed about me was true, I’m nothing like anyone’s ever met before.”
“I’m not the person you thought I was, but neither were you.”
“How can you care for her? You’ve never met her, have you?”
“You’ll never meet again, life in death is like nothing you’ve ever seen.”
“I wish a lot of things, but most of all, I wish you didn’t hate me.”
“These days, I think about you, but you’re never the same person I created in my mind.”
“It could’ve been worse, we could’ve fallen in love.”
“At least I can forget him- he’s easy to forget- but her, I’ll never forget her for as long as I live. And it’s all your fault.”

Can you teach me how to write romance and angst like you? My heart genuinely flutters in my chest when I read your work and I want to learn how to write like that, how to make people feel something when they read
This is such a lovely compliment! I will certainly try to give you some advice and talk about how I approach my writing.
Okay, so we will start with some general writing advice things, and then move on to angst/romance specifically, yes?
And since I’m referencing my writing process and how I do things, I’m going to be talking about my own stories a lot. So–spoilers ahead, if you haven’t read the stories.
Fics referenced include: Code: Safeword; Maybe You Are; Percussion. Strings. Winds. Words.; Valentine’s Day Kiss; Don’t Judge a Punk By Their Jacket; Fools; Teeth; Say It Out Loud; Kiss Me (Please); Harriet Potter Is; Dream of The; Pictures of You Pictures of Me; December; Me On My Way To You; and Old, New, Borrowed, and Blue.

Your characters have problems.
I don’t mean flaws in character design, even though they possibly do. I mean the problems your characters SHOULD have. The problems they face in your story ie. villains, conflict, war, homophobic parents, not having a date to the big dance. Y’know…like a plot.
Here are 3 ways to improve your plot
1. Your Characters Need to Make Decisions
This may sound obvious, but it isn’t always. The Problem™ isn’t just something your character has to go through that sucks—they should be faced with options, and have to make Active Decisions™ that affect the outcome of the story. This gives your characters agency—if they don’t have agency, if they don’t make decisions, your characters will be read as passive. Passive characters aren’t interesting.
2. These Choices Need To Be Hard
Give your characters inner conflict.
Hard, tough decisions to make. How to face their big problem. In figuring out what options your characters will choose, remember their
Motivations
Background
They way they were raised
Moral/Ethical/Spiritual beliefs
Fears
Loyalties
3. Figure Out The Stakes
Based on what kind of story you have, the stakes for your protagonist are going to be different.
SciFi novel about how the world is going to get obliterated by an evil force in 2 days? High stakes.
Romance novella about 29-year old Tequila Sheila who can’t seem to find a date to her brother’s wedding? Lower stakes.
And there’s nothing wrong with having higher or lower stakes—but do think about where your stakes should be for your particular story. Many stories don’t have high enough stakes for readers to be captivated; these stories need to be reconfigured, after realizing what exactly is at stake and to what degree. Understanding what your stakes are can help you figure out what kind of reading experience your book will be.

Attack on Titan (all seasons) click and drag game!
Game notes • How to Play
Please use a browser other than Google Chrome to play because the gif always locks onto its first frame on Chrome. Safari and Firefox work, please try those.
If you're on mobile, I'd highly suggest screenshotting the gifs individually rather than as a set to avoid getting the same person for everything

Soooooo a couple weeks back I fulfilled one of my dreams as an indie author – getting interviewed by the amazing Joanna Penn of The Creative Penn!
We talk about injuries, LGBT characters, writer’s ethics, and representation in the interview. The podcast is about an hour long, but if you want to cut straight to the interview, it starts at 24:35 in, and the whole interview has been transcribed at the link above.
Love you guys and I hope you enjoy!
